Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 14. Januar 2012


Schönen Samstag Ihr Lieben!
Über Nacht hat es geschneit - nur ein paar Zentimeter, aber hey, das ist mehr als wir den Winter über bisher hatten! Und passend dazu zeigen wir vom Stempeleinmaleins Euch heute, wie man eine Schneekugelkarte bastelt.

Happy saturday dear friends!
When I woke up this morning and looked out of my window the world outside was white - covered with a thin layer of snow. There are only a few centimeters but well, that's more than we had all the winter so far. And matching the white landscape outside we from Stempeleinmaleins are showing you how to make a snowglobe card.

Das Motiv ist von Mo Manning und es war perfekt für die Schneekugel.

I changed the pattern for the stand a bit.
The image is by Mo Manning and it is perfect for the snowglobe shape.

Ich habe mit Snow Writer den Schnee vor dem Motiv hinzugefügt. Und wir Ihr hier erkennen könnt, habe ich mit Opaque White von Copic auch auf die Folie kleine weiße Schneeflöckchen gesetzt. Die brauchen zwar ein wenig zum Trocknen, verstärken aber den Schneekugeleffekt noch.

I used a Snow Writer to add the snow to the image. And as you can see on this photo I also added some tiny snowflakes to the acetate using Opaque White by Copic. It needs some time to dry on the acetate but to me it makes the snowglobe look even more realistic.
