Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 31. Januar 2015

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Today Stempeleinmaleins' first challenge of the year 2015 goes live. And for this year we made a change in our challenges. There won't be a sketch each month anymore, instead we'll give you a theme to follow. From next month on in addition to the theme you will pick one of the many tutorials we previously posted and follow this tutorial. We posted so many during the last years that there surely is one you feel like making (again). But for this month's challenge we only have a theme for you, talk about getting you used to some changes. And maybe you already guessed it from looking at my card, our january theme is "winter". And it really seems that we ordered the matching weather to our theme... ;)

For my card I digged out this older Sugar Nellie image - I just love it! And then I made a shaped card - one of the great things if you don't have to follow a sketch. LOL I used the Shape Art Stencil Square by Dutch Doobadoo to make my card base. The great background paper that looks like someone went over it with its ice skates is from the Dance To The Music Paperbloc by Noor!Design.
In the background you can see the snowflake background by Whiff of Joy, and also the tree has been cut using a die-light by Whiff of Joy. I covered it with some Velvet Flock to add some snow to it. The slightly crocked fence is from the Magnolia DooHickey Club Kit.
As decorations I went with some lace, a few flowers and two fluffy gloves. Those have been cut using the Winter Accessories Die-Light Set by Whiff of Joy and also been covered with Velvet Flock.

I also want to join a challenge - the first one since ages. It's the "cold days" challenge over at the Kreativeinkauf Blog.
