Eine Fee im Sonnenaufgang

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Over at the Vildastamps Blog I am sharing this card with a fairy today.

For my card I used the willow tree die as the base of my scene. Behind it I've added a die cut line of clouds behind which the sun is rising. To the bottom of the clouds I've stamped the lower one of the stamps from the Grass Kit. To not make it look to flat I used two different Distress Ink colors here - Peeled Paint and Black Soot. The die cut flowers in the front are adding some more depth to my card.

This cute fairy is from the Puck and Sebille stamp set. She seems to help the little bird learning to fly. Since I glued the different layers of my card down using foam tape I wasn't able to stamp her directly onto my card. Instead I stamped her on white cardstock, cut her out and glued her in place.
For the sun I used the circle from the Squares, Circle and Star stamp set, stamped it using yellow ink and then added the rays with a stencil. All of the yellow areas were then covered with clear embossing powder so I was able to add the blue background around the sun.
A few golden sequins were all I used for decoration here.
