Whiff of Joy challenge # 27 und Cute Card Thursday # 57

Woohoo, another card is done! Wanted to do it yesterday evening but then I saw that pile of laundry that was waiting to be ironed... But now I was not only able to make my card match the new Whiff Of Joy challenge but also today´s new posted Cute Card Thursday challenge.
At Whiff of Joy they have a sketch this week:

And Cute Card Thursday is "getting edgy" this week. You can either tear, sand, distress or sew the edges of your card. I used a bit of everything of these techniques: I sewed a lil´here and a little there, distressed the edges around the image with ink pads and used chalk at the "spiral punch" egdes. And I also used my sanding blog around the backgroundpaper.
I added a layer of UTEE on my image to make it glossy and look a bit like ice. That only changed the coloring on my image a bit - the pink was formaly a purple tone... I put UTEE also on my flourish and the little snowflakes that I placed on my flowers.
That great "beauty..." stamp was a gift from a beloved friend - and I adore this stamp. It´s from the "Spring Swirl" clear stamp set by Autumn Leaves.
