Eine Karte zum Muttertag

Heute zeige ich Euch die Karte, die ich dieses Jahr für meine Mom zum Muttertag gemacht habe. Sie ist voller Blumen, denn echte Blumen kann ich schlecht durch die Gegend schicken....

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing with you the card, I made for my mom for mother's day this year. Since I can't send her real flowers I put them on the card.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstocks mit Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina und Uncharted Mariner gewischt und anschließend ein wenig mit Wasser bespritzt. Nach dem Trocknen habe ich mit der Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Stanze von Altenew das Schnörkelmuster in den Cardstock gestanzt. 

Und weil mir das irgendwie immer noch nicht genug war, have ich noch mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Diamond Plaid Layering Coverplates Set von TheTon ein Rautenmuster aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, da es mich ein wenig an ein Rankgitter erinnert. Da es mir aber doch zu viel war, als es den ganzen Hintergrund bedeckt hat, habe ich es an den Rändern in unregelmäßigen Abständen abgeschnitten. 

For the background I inked a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina and Uncharted Mariner and then flicked some water onto it. After the cardstock had dried I used the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover die by Altenew to cut the swirly pattern into the cardstock.

And since that still seemed a bit plain I used one of the dies from the Diamond Plaid Layering Coverplate set by TheTon to cut a diamond pattern from white cardstock because it reminds me of a trellis. Well, that seemed a bit too much then so I cut off the edges irregularly.

Den Blumenstrauß habe ich dann mit verschiedenen Blumenstanzen aus Watercolor Cardstock gestanzt. Ich habe die Sets Lovely Layers Anemone, Mum und Wildflowers sowie ein Gänseblümchendie von StudioLight verwendet.

Die Stanzteile habe ich dann jeweils durch Ink Smooshing eingefärbt. Dabei kamen die Distress Ink Farben Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters, Forest Moss, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord und Seedless Preserves zum Einsatz - teilweise habe ich die Töne auch ein wenig gemischt. 

Durch das Ink Smooshing wurde der Cardstock ein paar Mal ordentlich nass, wodurch die in den Cardstock geprägten Details teilweise verloren gingen. Also habe ich farblich passende Polychromos verwendet und sie, mehr oder weniger originalgetreu, damit wieder aufgemalt.

The flower bouquet I cut from watercolor cardstock using different flower dies. I combined the Lovely Layers Anemone, Mum and Wildflowers sets and added a few daisies by StudioLight. 

I did Ink Smooshing to color the die cuts. I used Distress Ink Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters, Forest Moss, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord and Seedless Preserves and for some layers even mixed the colors a bit.

While doing the ink smooshing the cardstock pieces got really wet several times and I lost most of the detail lines embossed into them. So I used matching Polychromos and drew them in, more or less following the original lines.

Die Blumen und das Rankgitter habe ich dann auf den Hintergrund geklebt und weiße Acrylfarbe über alles gespritzt.

Für den Text habe ich die Worte Alles Liebe ebenfalls aus Watercolor Cardstock gestanzt und wieder durch Ink Smooshing mit Distress Ink Seedless Preserves eingefärbt. Hinter den farbigen Worten befinden sich noch drei Lagen gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock. Da der I-Punkt einfach zu klein zum Ink Smooshen war, habe ich stattdessen ein weißes Herz verwendet.

Der Rest der Texte ist aus den Sets Kleine Worte und Kleine Worte 2 von Stampcorner. Ich habe sie mit Versafine Clair Chianti auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und für das "hab dich lieb" mehere Texte/Textteile kombiniert. 

I glued the trellis and flowers onto the background and then splattered some white acrylic paint over all of it. 

The text means "lots of love on mother's day, I love you". I die cut part of it from watercolor cardstock and then did some Ink Smooshing with Distress Ink Seedless Preserves to color them in. Behind those inked words I put three layers cut from white cardstock. Since the tittle of the I was simply too small to do ink smooshing I replaced it with a white heart.

The rest of the text I stamped with Versafine Clair Chianti onto white cardstock. 

Zum Schluss habe ich noch einige klare Pailetten auf der Karte verteilt und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

To finish the card I added a few clear sequins and then attached the card panel to a white note card.

Es passiert mir häufiger, dass ich eine Stanze schon recht lange habe, sie aber noch nie benutzt habe. Und wenn ich sie dann das erste Mal benutze, dann sprudeln die Ideen nur so und ich kann mich nicht entscheiden, welche ich umsetzen soll. So ging es mir mit der  Jumbled Line Collage Stanze von Memorybox, die ich vor kurzem verwendet habe. Und weil ich mich nicht entscheiden konnte, habe ich hier drei ähnliche und trotzdem unterschiedliche Karten damit gemacht.

It happens quite often, that I have a die for quite some time but never used it. And once I have used it I am full of ideas with it and can't decide, which one I want to turn into a card. That's what happened with this  Jumbled Line Collagedie by Memorybox that I used just recently. And because I couldn't decide which idea I wanted to make a card of I simply made three similar but yet different cards.

 

 Für Karte No. 1 habe ich die Stanze aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt - und weil ich den noch schwarz matten wollte, habe ich per Partial Diecutting einen der Streifen "entfernt", sonst wären sie für meinen Geschmack zu nah am Rand gewesen. 

Aus Cardstock in allen Farben des Regenbogens habe ich dann schmale Streifen geschnitten - gleich so viele, dass sie für alle 3 Karten reichen. Die habe ich nebeneinander auf den schwarzen Cardstock geklebt, mit dem ich den Hintergrund matten wollte. 

Auf den weißen Cardstock habe ich dann Distress Ink gespritzt - ungefähr dort, wo sich die jeweilige Farbe befindet. Dazu habe ich Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Prize Ribbon und Wilted Violet benutzt.

For card no. 1 I die cut the stripes from white cardstock - and since I wanted to mat that black later I did some partial die cutting to "remove" one of the stripes. All of them would have been too close to the edges for my taste.

I cut strips of cardstock in all colors of the rainbow - enough so they will last me for all 3 cards. I glued those next to each other onto a piece of black cardstock that I wanted to use as my mat.

I used Distress Ink to add splatters to the white cardstock - about where the matching colors would be later. I used Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Prize Ribbon and Wilted Violet.

 

 Aus den selben Farben, aus denen ich auch die Streifen für den Hintergrund geschnitten habe, habe ich dann jeweils Herzen sowie die kleinste der Heart Bubbles von MFT gestanzt. Die Sprechblasen habe ich mit silbernem Glitter-Cardstock hinterlegt. Dann habe ich die Herzen und Sprechblasen - wieder jeweils so, dass sie auf/nahe den gleichfarbigen Streifen liegen, aufgeklebt. Hinter den Sprechblasen habe ich dabei 3D Tape benutzt. Die kleinen flachen Herzen habe ich dann noch mit Glossy Accents überzogen.

Zwischenall den Herzen und Sprechblasen habe ich silberne Perlen verteilt und dann noch meinen Text dazwischen gesetzt. Dafür habe ich Stempel aus dem Kleine Worte Set von Stampcorner weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.

From the same colors I had used to cut the strips for the background from I die cut hearts and the smallest of the Heart Bubbles by MFT. I put some silver glitter cardstock behind the speech bubbles, then I attached the hearts and speech bubbles to the white cardstock, again putting the decorations close to/onto the same colored strips. I put foam tape behind the speech bubbles, the small flat hearts I covered with Glossy Accents.

Between all the hearts and speech bubbles I put some tiny silver pearls and then added my text inbetween. It means "greetings from the bottom of my hear - I'm thinking of you". I white heat embossed the parts onto black cardstock.

Den weißen Cardstock habe ich dann wieder mit 3D Tape auf den schwarzen Cardstock mit den farbigen Streifen geklebt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I used foam tape again to adhere the white cardstock to the black mat with the colored stripes, then attached it to a white note card.

Für die zweite Karte habe ich die Streifen aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt - diesmal die komplette Breite der Stanze, den den wollte ich nicht zusätzlich matten. Auf den Cardstock habe ich silberne Metallic Watercolor gespritzt.

For the second card I cut the stripes from a piece of black cardstock - this time the full width of the die because I didn't want to use a mat here. Then I splattered silver metallic watercolor onto it.

Hinter die ausgestanzten Streifen habe ich Vellum geklebt und dann die farbigen Cardstockstreifen dahinter befestigt. So sind die Sterne farblich etwas dunkler als die Streifen, trotzdem kann man die sehen, dass jeweils die selben Farbtöne verwendet wurden.

Als Deko habe ich mich hier für Sterne entschieden und auch die aus allen Farben, die ich auch für die farbigen Cardstockstreifen benutzt habe, gestanzt. Dann habe ich sie wieder auf den farblich passenden Streifen befestigt und als Deko dazwischen farblich passende irisierende Perlen gesetzt. Da die Perlen so schimmern, dass die Sterne fast untergegangen sind, habe ich auch hier Glossy Accents verwendet und die Sterne damit überzogen.

Der Text auf dieser Karte ist aus dem Super Star Stempelset von LawnFawn und ganz einfach schwarz auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt.

Behind the die cut strips I put some vellum, then attached the colored cardstock strips behind it. This way the stars are a bit darker than the strips but you can still see that they are made from the same colors.

For my decoration I went with stars here and again I die cut some from each color I had used to cut the colored strips from. Then I again glued them onto the strips in the matching colors and put little iridescent pearls - again in matching colors - between them. Since the pearls are so shiny the stars kind of got lost so I used Glossy Accents again to make the stars shiny as well.

The text on this card is from the Super Star stamp set by LawnFawn and simply stamped onto white cardstock with some black ink.

Außer hinter den Textstreifen habe ich hier kein 3D Tape benutzt und auch den dekorierten Cardstock direkt auf den weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Except for behind the text strips I didn't use foam tape on this card and also adhered the card panel flat to the white card base.

Und für die dritte und letzte Karte habe ich wieder weißen Cardstock verwendet. Hier ist der Hintergrund absolut identisch zu dem auf Karte 1 gemacht - inklusive der Farbspritzer.

And for this third and last card I used white cardstock again. I created the background identically to the one on the first card - including the colored splatters.

Diesmal habe ich kleine Blüten für meine Deko gestanzt  und Ihr ahnt es schon, es gibt wieder Blüten in jeder Farbe, die sich auch in den Streifen findet. Die Blüten habe ich dann in einer Art Regenbogen-Farbverlauf-Welle quer über die Streifen geklebt. Als Farbtupfer habe ich einige kleine Blätter, gestanzt aus schwarzem Cardstock, unter ein paar der Blüten geschoben.

In die Blütenmitten habe ich kleine weiße Perlen gesetzt und einige etwas größere dann ober- und unterhalb der Welle aufgeklebt.

Der Text hier ist wieder aus dem Kleine Worte Stempelset und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.

This time I went with little flowers as my decoration and - you may have guessed it already - again cut flowers from each color of cardstock I had also used for the stripes. Then I created some kind of rainbow-gradiant-flower-wave across the stripes. For a bit of contrast I tucked a few small leaves, cut from black cardstock, behind a few of the flowers. 

I glued tiny pearls into the center of each flower and then added some larger ones above and under the wave.

The text here means "just because - you are so wonderful" and is again white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

Hinter die Texte habe ich wieder 3D Tape gesetzt. Dann habe ich auch diesen Cardstock schwarz gemattet und alles wieder auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I used foam tape behind the texts again. Then I matted the card panel black and attached it to a white note card.

Auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeige ich Euch heute diese Karte, auf der ich nochmal den süßen Honigbären aus dem Stempelset Frühling aus dem Mai-Release verwendet habe.

Over on the Stampcorner blog I am sharing this card, that I used the cute honey bear from the may release on again.

Tina Smith von Cards and Coffee Time hatte im April eine Karte/ein Video mit floating elements gemacht - das wollte ich unbedingt ausprobieren. Und Hexagons für einen Honigwaben-Hintergrund erschienen mir perfekt. Das war die Inspiration für diese Karte.

Ich habe die Hexagons aus gelb-goldem Designpapier mit weißen Herzchen gestanzt und dann mit dickem 3D Tape auf ein Stück Acetate geklebt. Das ist in Höhe und Breite jeweils 1 cm schmäler zugeschnitten als das braun-weiß gestreifte Papier, mit dem ich die Hexagons hinterlegt habe. Die Hexagons habe ich dann entlang der Folienkante abgeschnitten und - wieder mit dickem 3D Tape - auf das gestreifte Papier geklebt. Und es sieht tatsächlich so aus, als würden die Hexagons samt Deko auf der Karte schweben. 

Tina Smith from Cards and Coffee Time did a card/video with floating elements back in april - and I really wanted to try that. Hexagons for a honeycomb background seemed perfect for that. And that's were the inspiration for the card came from.

I die cut the hexagons from yellow paper with a hearts pattern and then adhered them with thick foam tape to a piece of acetate. The acetate I cut 1 cm smaller both in width and length than the brown and white striped paper I put behind the hexagons. I used my scissors to cut the hexagons off along the edge of the acetate and adhered it to the striped paper, again using thick foam tape. Now it really looks like the hexagons and all the decorations are floating on the card.

Oben entlang der Hexagon-/Folienkante habe ich Honig herabtropfen lassen. Ich habe den mit einer Bordürenstanze von Magnolia aus Folie gestanzt, man kann ihn aber genauso gut mit der Schere per Hand ausschneiden. Dann habe ich die Folie mit Butterscotch Alcohol Ink von Ranger überzogen. Zuerst hatte ich es mit Blending Solution versucht, da war die Farbe aber viel zu hell. Also habe ich eine weitere Lage  pur aufgetragen und mit dem Air Blower in Richtung der Tropfen geblasen. Wenn man die Folie in echt vor sich hat, sieht sie tatsächlich wie Honig aus. 

Die Bordüre habe ich dann auf den Hintergrund geklebt - zuerst habe ich die Klebestellen strategisch gesetzt und mit kleinen Gänseblümchen überdeckt, das reichte aber nicht, um sie sicher zu fixieren. Da die Alcohol Ink aber eh irgendwie "fleckig" ist, konnte ich dann noch einige zusätzliche Klebepunkte setzen und die Folie direkt auf die Hexagons aufkleben, der Kleber ist quasi nicht sichtbar.

Along the top edge of the hexagon/acetate I put a border of dripping honey. I die cut that from acetate using a border die by Magnolia but you could easily cut that by hand with your scissors. Then I covered the acetate with Butterscotch Alcohol Ink by Ranger. First I mixed the ink with a bit of Blending Solution, but that made the ink way too light. So I added more ink without the clear liquid and used an air blower to blow the ink in the direction of the drips. When you see the acetate in real life, it looks like real honey.

I glued the border onto the background - first I placed my liquid glue strategically and covered it with small daises. But that wasn't enough to attach it securely. But since the alcohol ink looks kind of "splotchy" anyway I added a few additional dots of glue onto the back of the foil and glued it directly to the hexagons, the glue is nearly invisible.

Und dann kam der süße Bär zum Einsatz. Ich habe ihn in hellem Braun coloriert, seine Mütze strahlt in honiggelb. Ich habe Copics zum Colorieren verwendet und Highlights mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt. Und damit der Bär nicht so in der Luft schwebt, habe ich ein Oval, gestanzt aus dunkelbraunem Cardstock, als Boden unter/hinter ihn geklebt.

Für meinen Text habe ich die Buchstaben für das Wort "süße" mit einer der Handletter-Stanzen von CraftEmotions aus braunem Cardstock gestanzt. In dem Set gibt es kein "ß", also habe ich das mit dem "f" und dem Längsstrich des "d" kurzerhand zusammen gesetzt. 

Das Wort Grüße ist Teil eines der Texte aus dem Set Hasengrüße und mit weißem Embossingpulver auf braunen Cardstock embosst. Die beiden Textteile habe ich dann neben dem Bären auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

 

And then I added the cute bear. I colored him a light brown and went with golden yellow for his hat. I used Copics to color the image and added highlights with a white gel pen. To make sure the bear isn't floating in the air I die cut an oval from brown cardstock and glued it under/behind the bear.

For my text - it means "sweet wishes" - I die cut the letters for the word sweet from brown cardstock using an alphabet die set by CraftEmotions. Since there is no "ß" in this set, I simply put one together using the "f" and the long strip of the "d".

The word "wishes" I white heat embossed onto brown cardstock and adhered the text next to the bear onto the background.

Als Deko habe ich noch einige weitere Gänseblümchen und ein paar kleine Bienen aufgeklebt. Eine der Bienen musste ich spiegeln, deswegen sieht sie etwas anders aus. Die Bienen habe ich mit brauner Tinte gestempelt.

Über dem Bären habe ich noch drei hellrosa farbene Herzen aufgeklebt, um das Rosa im Motiv nochmal aufzugreifen.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles noch braun gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I added a few more daisies and a few bees as decoration. I had to do mirror stamping for one of the bees, that's why it looks a bit different. I used brown ink to stamp the bees.

I added three light pink hearts above the bear's head to pick up the pink in the image again.

Then I matted the cardstock brown and adhered the card panel to a white note card.

Eine Freundin fragte mich vor kurzem nach einer Karte zum Abschied einer Kollegin "mit Hufeisen und Pferd". Die Karte kam nie zustande, da es recht kurzfristig und ich im Urlaub war. Aber da war dann diese Herausforderung in meinem Kopf. Vor allem das Pferd hat mich herausgefordert - und so habe ich kurzerhand doch eine Karte mit diesen Vorgaben gemacht, einfach so zum Spaß. Und hier ist sie.

A  little ago a friend asked me for a card for a leaving co-worker - "with horseshoe and a horse". Well, that card never happened because it was quite on short notice and I was on vacation. But there was this challenge in my head - especially the horse was one. So I decided to make see if I can come up with a card with these parameters, just for fun. And here it is.

 

Nun, man mag bei Pferd an Wiesen und Natur denken. Meine Karte ist eher elegant und Ton-in-Ton ausgefallen. Aber mir gefällt sie.

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks, in den ich unten mit der Jumbled Line Collage Stanze von Memorybox schmale vertikale Streifen gestanzt habe. Durch Partial Die Cutting habe ich sie auf eine hochkantige Karte angepasst - dann habe ich die Stanze etwas weiter nach oben geschoben und erneut gestanzt um die Streifen etwas länger zu machen. Auf den Cardstock habe ich dann hell-goldene Metallic Watercolor gespritzt und ihn mit 3D Tape auf ein Stück cremefarbenen Cardstock geklebt. So sind die Streifen ganz dezent, aber dennoch machen sie den Hintergrund interessanter.

Well, when you think of horses you might think of meadows and nature first. My card is more of an elegant tone in tone card. But I really like it.

The background is made from a piece of white cardstock, that I cut some vertical stripes with the Jumbled Line Collage die by Memorybox of at the bottom. I did some partial diecutting to make it fit a portrait card, then moved the die up a bit and cut it again to make the strips a bit taller. I then splattered some light gold metallic watercolor onto the cardstock and glued it with foam tape to a piece of cream colored cardstock. This way the strips are very subtle but still make the background a lot more interesting.

Ich habe den Text auf der Karte zum Hauptelement. Mit dem Impact Alphabet von MFT habe ich die Buchstaben für das Worte Gute gestanzt - zweimal aus weißem Cardstock und einmal aus goldenem Schimmer-Cardstock. Statt des U habe ich mich für ein Hufeisen, gestanzt aus goldenem Spiegelcardstock mit einer Stanze von Kulricke, entschieden. Von denen ist auch das Banner mit dem ausgestanzten "mach es gut". Der obere Teil ist hier wieder aus dem Schimmer-Cardstock, der untere Teil aus cremefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt. 

Und dann kamen die Pferde ins Spiel. Bis auf ein, zwei Bauernhof-Sets habe ich tatsächlich keine Pferde in meinem Fundus, und die passten hier nicht. Aber dann fiel mir das Little Unicorn Agenda Set von MamaElephant ein. Ohne Horn gehen die doch perfekt als Pferde durch und auch von der Größe her waren sie perfekt. Ich habe vier davon abgestempelt, mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Dabei habe ich das Horn weggeschnitten und den Ansatz mit einem weißen Gelstift überdeckt. 

Die kleinen, weiß auf braunen Cardstock embossten Texte sind aus dem Set Zur Hochzeit Revers von Kulricke. 

I made the text the main element on my card. With the Impact Alphabet die set by MFT I die cut the letters for the word Gute - the whole text means "all the best for your future" with a "farewell" on the bannner - twice from white cardstock and once from gold shimmer cardstock. Instead of the U I went with a horseshoe, die cut from gold mirror cardstock using a die by Kulricke. By them is also the banner - I cut the top layer from the gold shimmer cardstock, the base from cream cardstock.

And then I brought in the horses. I only have one or two farm related stamp sets with horses, and those didn't fit here. But then I remembered the Little Unicorn Agenda set by MamaElephant. Without the horn those make perfect horses and they were perfect in size as well. I stamped four of them, colored them with Copics and cut them out. While cutting them out I cut off the horns and covered the little black lines they left directly at the heads with a white gel pen.

The small, white onto brown cardstock embossed texts are by Kulricke.

Ich habe alle Elemente auf dem Hintergrund angeordnet und dabei einige Teile wieder mit 3D Tape hinterlegt. An das Hufeisen habe ich eine kleine Schleife aus weißem Twine gebunden.

Als Deko habe ich drei weiße Herzen sowie einige weiße Perlen auf dem Cardstock verteilt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I arranged all the elements on the background and put foam tape behind a few of them again. To the horseshoe I tied a little bow from white twine.

I added three white hearts and a few white pearls as decoration and then adhered the card panel to a white note card.

Hopfenhaltige Geburtstagskarte

Heute habe ich eine Geburtstagskarte für Euch, bei der sich alles um das Thema Bier dreht.

Today I have a birthday card for that's all about beer.

Der Hintergrund ist hier mit dem Layered Sunburst Stencil von PinkFreshStudio gemacht. Grundlage war ein Stück hellblauen Cardstocks, auf den ich die drei Lagen des Stencilsets mit Distress Ink Broken China, Prize Ribbon und Chipped Sapphire aufgewischt habe.

Auf den Hintergrund habe ich zuerst mit weißer Stempelfarbe den Happy Birthday Background von MFT aufgestempelt, anschließend habe ich etwas weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

I used the Layered Sunburst Stencil by PinkFreshStudio to create my background. I started with a piece of light blue cardstock and then inked the three layers of the stencil onto it with Distress Ink Broken China, Prize Ribbon and Chipped Sapphire.

With white pigment ink I stamped the Happy Birthday Background by MFT onto the cardstock first, then splattered some white acrylic paint on top.

Hauptelement der Karte ist das Wort Happy. Ich habe die Buchstaben mit dem Impact Alphabet Stanzenset von MFT aus Watercolor Cardstock gestanzt und dann per Ink Smooshing einige Lagen Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade aufgetragen. 

Die Schaumkronen sind mit Stanzen aus dem Set Pint Sized Set von MFT ebenfalls aus Watercolor Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Pumice Stone leicht eingefärbt - wieder durch Ink Smooshing. Dann habe ich auf die Buchstaben und den Schaum wieder weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

Die Schattenlagen für die Buchstaben habe ich per Hand aus braun-gelbem Cardstock geschnitten und die eingefärbten Buchstaben mit drei weiteren, gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock, hinterlegt. Obenauf kamen die Schaumkronen.

Das Beerthday to you ist aus dem Stempelset Bitty Birthday Wishes - ich habe das I in Birthday durch zwei E ersetzt und alles weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.

Aus kupferfarbenem Spiegelcardstock habe ich dann noch einen Flaschenöffner sowie einige Kronkorken gestanzt. 

Main element on my card is a large "happy". I die cut the letters from watercolor cardstock with the Impact Alphabet dies by MFT and then did a few layers of ink smooshing with Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade to ink them.

The froth is made using dies from the Pint Sized set by MFT, I also cut them from watercolor cardstock and lightly colored them with Pumice Stone, again doing ink smooshing. Then I splattered some white acrylic paint onto the letters and the froth.

With my scissors I cut some shadow layers for the letters from yellow-ish brown cardstock and put three layers cut from white cardstock behind each letter. Onto the tops I added the froth.

The beerthday to you text is from the Bitty Birthday Wishes stamp set - I replaced the I in birthday with two Es and white heat embossed the text onto black cardstock.

From some copper colored mirror cardstock I die cut a bottle opener and some bottle caps.

Und dann fand ich, durften auch Bierflaschen auf der Karte nicht fehlen. Also habe ich zweimal eine der Soda Pop Bottles von MFT aus braunem Vellum gestanzt. Wobei ich hier tatsächlich nur dieses Transparentpapier, das so komisch knistert und das man noch aus dem Kindergarten kennt, hatte. Das glänzt etwas, ist aber nicht so durchsichtig. Aber für meine Flaschen passte es. 

Die Label habe ich wieder gelb eingefärbt und oben auf die Flaschen zwei Konkorken, die Stanze dafür ist aus dem selben Set, aufgeklebt.

And the though, some bottles of beer should be there, too. So I die cut two bottles from brown vellum, using the Soda Pop Bottles die set by MFT. And I acutally only had brown transparent paper - the kind, we know from our time back in kindergarden and school. It's a bit shiny but not as see-through. I thought, it works well for these bottles.

The labels I inked yellow again and put some bottle caps - the die also comes in the same set - onto the bottles.

Die Texte und Flaschen habe ich dann auf dem Hintergrund arrangiert. 

Oben links auf der Karte sowie quer entlang des unteren Randes habe ich noch weitere Texte aufgeklebt. Beide sind aus dem Spirited Sentiments Set von MFT und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Das "cheers to you" habe ich dann mit einer Blase von WhimsyStamps ausgestanzt und weiß hinterlegt.

Und in den Hintergrund habe ich einige Sterne, gestanzt aus goldenem Spiegelcardstock, im oberen Teil der Karte verteilt. 

Den fertig dekorierten Cardstock habe ich schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I arranged the bottles and texts on the background.

To the top left and along the bottom edge I added more texts. Both are from the Spirited Sentiments set by MFT and white heat embossed onto black cardstock. The "cheers to you" I cut out with a bubble die by WhimsyStamps and matted it with white cardstock.

Onto the upper half of the background I added some stars, cut from gold mirror cardstock.

I matted the finished card panel black and adhered it to a white note card.

Vatertagskarte mal anders

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Mein Vater ist vor knapp zehn Jahren gestorben und natürlich fehlt er mir, meist in kleinen Momenten, aber an Tagen wie seinem Geburtstag, Weihnachten und Vatertag merkt man es nochmal anders. Eine Vatertagskarte kann ich ihm nicht geben. Aber ich habe diese Karte gewerkelt und dabei an ihn und die vielen schönen Momente mit ihm gedacht. Und das war mir eigentlich das wichtigste. Ich kann ihm die Karte nicht geben und werde sie mir bestimmt auch nicht irgendwo aufstellen oder so, aber kann ich sie zumindest noch als Trauerkarte weiterverwenden.

Hello everyone!

My father died nearly 10 years ago and of course I miss him, mostly in little everday moments. But on special occasions like his birthday, christmas and father's day I miss him especially. I can't give him a father's day card. But I made this one instead, thinking of him and all the happy moments with him all the time while making it. That was the most important thing to me.  I can't give him the card and for sure won't put it on display somewhere in my home but I can use it as a sympathy card instead.

Vom Design her ist die Karte eher einfach - nur diese eine große Rose mit Anhänger auf einem Halo-Hintergrund.

Ich habe hier ein Stück weißen Cardstocks mit Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina, Broken China, Uncharted Mariner und Black Soot gewischt und dabei die hellste Stelle mittig in der oberen Hälfte des Cardstocks platziert. Auf die dunkleren Bereiche habe ich dann Distress Mica Spray Stain Juniper Berry aufgespritzt. 

Und weil der Hintergrund irgendwie noch zu fad aussah, habe ich den Dotted Starburst Hintergrund von Altenew in den Cardstock gestanzt.

The design of this card is kind of simple - just this large rose with a text banner on a halo background.

Here I inked a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina, Broken China, Uncharted Mariner and Black Soot, placing the lightest area about in the center of the top half of the cardstock. Onto the darker areas I splattered some Distress Mica Spray Stain Juniper Berry. 

The background still looked a bit plain so die cut the Dotted Starburst background by Altenew into it.

Die Rose ist mit dem Lovely Layers Rose Stanzenset von HoneyBee gemacht. Ich habe die einzelnen Teile aus weißem, hellgrauem, dunkelgrauem und schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt, je nachdem, wie weit vorne sie sich befinden. Dann habe ich alles mit Distress Oxide Black Soot bzw. die schwarze Lage mit ein wenig weißer Pigmentfarbe gewischt und einige Highlights mit einem weißen Gelstift angebracht. Außerdem habe ich die geprägten Details - sowie einige zusätzliche Linien - mit einem silbernen Glitter-Gelstift aufgemalt.

Die Rose habe ich dann jeweils nur im unteren Bereich aufeinandergeklebt, so konnte ich die Ränder der Cardstocklagen ein wenig nach oben biegen und der Rose so noch mehr Dimensionalität geben. Nun, das hätte ich vielleicht vor dem Zusammenkleben machen sollen... Es ging trotzdem, nur an den ganz feinen Spitzen habe ich beim "Kräuseln" mit dem Fingernagel an zwei Stellen ein kleines Stück abgerissen. Die Teile konnte ich aber einfach wieder aufkleben und es fällt gar nicht auf. 

The rose is made with the Lovely Layers Rose die set by HoneyBee. I die cut the individual layers from white, light grey, dark grey and black cardstock, depending on how far behind they are once the rose is put together. Then I shaded the pieces with Distress Oxide Black Soot - only on the black layers I used some white pigment ink along the edges - and added a few highlights with a white gel pen. I also traced the debossed details with a silver glitter gel pen and added a few additional ones.

Then I glued the flower head together only in the bottom are, this way I was able to bend the top edges of the layers a bit upwards to give the flower even more dimension. Well, it would have been easier to do that before glueing the layers together.... It still worked, only at the very thin tips I ripped off the cardstock in two spots while curling the paper with my fingernail. But I was able to simply glue those tiny tips back in place.

Stiel und Blätter der Rose habe ich auf dieselbe Art gemacht und das große Blatt links mit einer zusätzlichen Lage Cardstock hinterlegt.

An den Stiel habe ich dann ein Banner gebunden. Das habe ich einmal aus weißem, einmal aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt, beide Teile versetzt aufeinander geklebt und auf das weiße Banner den Text aus einem Stempelset von Kulricke mit schwarzer Tinte aufgestempelt. Dann habe ich es mit etwas türkisfarbenem Garn angebunden.

I did the stem and leaves of the rose the same way, adding one additional layer behind the large leave on the left.

I tied a banner to the stem. I die cut it once from white and once from black cardstock and glued the pieces together a bit offset. Then I stamped a "in my thoughts I am with you" text with black ink onto the white banner and tied it to the stem with some turquoise floss.

Bevor ich das Banner angebunden habe, habe ich die Rose auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Hinter die Spitzen der beiden größeren Blätter sowie oben am Blütenansatz habe ich dabei ein wenig dünnes 3D Tape gesetzt. Dann habe ich alles mit weißer Acrylfarbe bespritzt und die Farbe diesmal hauptsächlich auf der Blüte und dem hellen Bereich der Karte verteilt.

Als kleine Deko habe ich noch drei weiße Herzen aufgeklebt, dann den Cardstock schwarz gemattet und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Before I tied the banner to the stem I adhered the rose to the background. I put small pieces of thin foam tape behind the tips of the two larger leaves and the top of the stem. Then I splattered some white acrylic paint onto the card, this time applying the color mostly to the flower and the light areas of the card.

I added three white hearts as decoration, then matted the card panel black and adhered it to a white card base.

Heute zeige ich Euch meine Karte für die aktuelle LawnFawnatics Challenge #172. "Inspired by" ist das Thema - man soll sich ein Werk des LawnFawn DT's suchen und davon inspiriert eine Karte machen. OMG, wo soll man da anfangen? Also bin ich die Sache anders angegangen. Ich habe mir überlegt, welches Stempelset ich gerne verwenden möchte und mit dessen Namen dann Bilder gesucht. Meine Wahl fiel auf das Flamingo Together Set - und das hier ist die Karte, die mich dann sofort inspriert hat:

Today I am sharing with you my card for the current LawnFawnatcs challenge #172. "Inspired by" is the theme - pick a card by one of the DT members and get inspiration from it. OMG, how to pick one? So I aproached this challenge a bit differently: I picked the stamp set I wanted to use first, then searched for pictures of cards made with it online. I had decided to go with the Flamingo Together stamp set - and this is the card, that inspired my card:

Christy hat diese tolle Flamingo-Karte bereits vor einiger Zeit gemacht - sie wurde bereits im Januar 2020 gepostet. 

Die Flamingos vor dem Herz mit den tropischen Blättern davor haben sofort eine Idee in meinem Kopf geweckt.

 

Christy made this beautiful flamingo card quite a long time ago - it was posted back in january 2020.

Those flamingos with the heart behind them and the tropical leaves at their feet immediately put an idea for my card into my head.

Ich habe hier für den Hintergrund ein Stück helltürkisen Cardstock genommen und mit den Tropical Leaves Stencils und Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina, Broken China und Uncharted Mariner die Blätter aufgewischt. Dann habe ich die Ränder ein wenig mit Black Soot gewischt und etwas weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

For the background I used a piece of light aqua cardstock and inked the leaves onto it using the Tropical Leaves stencil set and Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina, Broken China and Uncharted Mariner. Then I inked the edges with a bit of Black Soot and splattered some white acrlylic paint onto the cardstock.

Die tropischen Blätter und Flamingos habe ich so - bzw. im Fall der Blätter so ähnlich - von Christy's Karte übernommen.

Für die Blätter habe ich neben Stempeln aus dem Set Critters in the Jungle auch Monsterablätter aus dem Tropical Leaves Backdrop Stanzenset verwendet. Da ich aber einen einheitlichen Look wollte, habe ich mich für NoLine Coloring entschieden, so dass die gestanzten Teile sich gut unter die Stempelmotive mischen. Ich habe alle Elemente - auch die Palmen aus dem Tropical Backdrop Set, die Flamingos und die Hibiskusblüten aus dem Stempelset Toucan Do It - entweder aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt oder auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. Dann habe ich sie mit Copics coloriert und einige feine Details mit Polychromos dazugemalt. Die Highlights sind mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht. Anschließend habe ich die gestempelten Motive mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. 

Für den Hintergrund mit dem Herz habe ich die Mitte des Radiant Heart Backdrops aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Salvaged Patina, Broken China, Uncharted Mariner und Black Soot gewischt. Auch hier habe ich ein wenig weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt und den Cardstock dann  mit einem Stück Cardstock hinterlegt, den ich zuvor mit Carved Pumpkin, Kitsch Flamingo und Seedless Preserves so gewischt habe, dass von jeder Farbe später etwas im Herzausschnitt zu sehen ist. Nun sieht das Herz ein wenig so aus wie die untergehende Sonne.

I took over the tropical leaves and flamingos like they are on Christy's card - I just changed the leaves a bit.

For the leaves I used stamps from the Critters in the Jungle set and added some monstera leaves from the Tropical Leaves Backdrop. I wanted all elements to look similar so I went with no-line coloring to make the die cut elements blend in. I stamped or die cut all elements - also the palm trees from the Tropical Backdrop, the flamingos and the hibiskus flowers from the Toucan Do It stamp set - onto/from white cardstock. Then I colored them with Copics and added some fine details with Polychromos. The highlights are made with a white gel pen. Then I fuzzy cut the images out.

For the background with the heart I die cut the center of the Radiant Heart Backdrop from white cardstock and inked it with Salvaged Patina, Broken China, Uncharted Mariner and Black Soot. Again I splattered some white acrylic paint on top and backed it with a piece of cardstock that I had inked with Carved Pumpkin, Kitsch Flamingo and Seedless Preserves. I made sure, that a bit of each color will be visible through the heart later and now the heart kind of looks like a setting sun.

Den Text habe ich am unteren Rand der Karte angebracht. Dafür habe ich mit der Scripty Aloha Stanze das Wort Aloha einmal aus schwarzem Cardstock und einmal aus einem Stück Cardstock gestanzt, das mit den selben Farben eingefärbt ist wie der Cardstock hinter dem Herz. Eigentlich hatte ich den zum Hinterlegen verwenden wollen, hatte ihn aber zu klein zugeschnitten. Also durfte er für den Text zum Einsatz kommen. 

Die schwarze Lage habe ich ein wenig nach unten versetzt hinter die farbige Lage geklebt und dann statt weißen Highlights etwas Stickles aufgetragen.

Für das "flamazing" darunter habe ich das "fl" des Wortes Flamin-Go aus dem Flamingo Together Set vor das "amazing" aus dem Sew Very Mice set gesetzt. Die beiden Teile passten von Größe und Schrift perfekt zusammen und so konnte ich das Wort flamazing stempeln. Das habe ich dann mit der Schere ausgeschnitten.

I moved the text to the bottom of the card. I die cut the word aloha from black cardstock and from a piece of cardstock inked with the same colors that I used behind the heart layer using the Scripty Aloha die. Originally I had planned to back the heart with this cardstock piece but I had cut it too small and so I simply used it for the text.

I attached the black layer behind the colorful word, moving it a bit down, and then added some Stickles instead of drawing white highlights.

To create the word "flamazing" I stamped the "fl" from the word flamin-go from the Flamingo Together stamp set and then put the word amazing from the Sew Very Mice set behind it. Both parts fit together perfectly in size and font and this way I was able to create a scripty flamazing. I cut that out with my scissors.

Die Herzlage habe ich mit 3D Tape auf den sonnenuntergangsfarbenen Cardstock geklebt. Darauf kam dann mit dünnem 3D Tape die Flamingos und die Palmen sowie die äußersten Blätter und Blüten, dann habe ich den Rest mit dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt und alles auf dem Blätterhintergrund befestigt. Damit der Text auf die selbe Höhe wie die obersten Blätter kam, musste ich hier das 3D Tape aufdoppeln. 

Zum Schluss habe ich alles noch auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I used foam tape to adhere the heart window layer onto the sunset colored cardstock. Then I used thin foam tape behind the flamingos, the palm trees and the outermost leaves and flowers. The other leaves and flowers I adhered with thick foam tape and attached everything onto the background with the inked on leaves. To bring the text to the same height as the top leaves I had to double up the foam tape behind it. 

Then I just glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Strandzeit

Mit dieser Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeige, machen wir einen Ausflug ans Meer - schließlich steht der Sommer vor der Tür und man kann schon mal vorsichtig Meerluft schnuppern, quasi als Einstimmung.

With this card, that I'm sharing over on the Stampcorner Blog today, we are making a trip to the beach - summer isn't far away anymore and so a bit of a sea breeze, as a start to get used to it, doesn't hurt.

Ich wollte unbedingt einen sommerlich-zarten Beachlook für meine Karte.

Also habe ich im Hintergrund einfach ein Stück Designpapier aus einem der Paper Pads von Stampcorner benutzt - die Papierboote passten so schön zum Motiv. Da es mir aber nur weiß und schwarz etwas zu fad war, habe ich es durch etwas Distress Ink Salvaged Patina, gemixt mit Wasser, gezogen, so dass es ganz leicht eingefärbt wurde. Designpapier ist jetzt nicht unbedingt auf Ink Smooshing ausgelegt und die Farbe hat an einigen Stellen kleine "Blasen" geworfen, aber sonst hat es das ganz gut weggesteckt und ich finde den Effekt sogar ganz schön.

 

I wanted a summerish beach look for my card.

So I used a piece of patterned paper in the background - the paper boats go great with the image. But since it seemed a bit boring just in black and white I dragged it through some Distress Ink Salvaged Patina, mixed with water, to lightly color it, at least at the top. Patterned paper is not made for ink smooshing and so the ink created some kind of "bubbles" in a few areas, but it worked pretty well, And I actually like that splotchy look.

 

 

Dann habe ich ein Rechteck aus Watercolor Cardstock geschnitten und mit Distress Oxides gewischt: unten mit Antique Linen und Scorched Timber - momentan meine Lieblingskombi für Sand -, den Himmel mit Salvaged Patina und Peacock Feathers. Auf den Sand habe ich dann ein wenig mit Wasser verdünntes Scorched Timber und weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. Und weil ich gerade beim Wischen war, habe ich noch ein weiteres Stück Cardstock auf die selbe Weise gewischt, auf die ich den Sand gemacht habe. Daraus habe ich dann ein Oval sowie die oberen Teile meiner Strandgräser gestanzt. Die hatte ich zuvor nur aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt, das war mir dann aber insgesamt doch zu dunkel.

Auf dem Oval sitzt Paulchen, der kleine Bär mit seinem Papierboot, der hier einen Ausflug ans Meer gemacht hat. Er ist mit Copics coloriert, dafür habe ich zu eher gedeckten Farben gegriffen, die gut zum Look der Karte passen. Die Highlights sind mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht. Neben Paulchen habe ich zwei Muscheln gesetzt, die ich ebenfalls aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert habe.

Außerdem habe ich mit den Puffy Clouds von MFT noch zwei weiße Wolken gestanzt und sie auf den Himmel geklebt. Zwischen die Wolken habe ich ein paar Seevögel aus dem Stempelset Matrosenfreunde 2 aufgestempelt.

Und weil irgendwie alles auf der Karte vertikal ausgerichtet ist, fehlte mir noch ein horizontales Element. Also habe ich den rechtigen Seilrahmen von Marianne Design aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, die eine längere Seite davon abgeschnitten und ebenfalls mit Copics schattiert. Dieses Seil samt Knoten habe ich dann zwischen Szene und Text aufgeklebt.

Das Rechteck mit den Motiven habe ich dann schwarz gemattet und auf das Designpapier geklebt.

 

Then I cut a rectangle from watercolor cardstock and inked it with Distress Oxides: with Antique Linen and Scorched Timber - currently my favorite color combo for sand - at the bottom and the sky I did with Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers. I added splatters with some watered down Scorched Timber and white acrylic paint onto the sand. And since I was already at it I also treated another piece of white cardstock the same way I created the sand. From this I die cut an oval and the tops of my beach grass. I had die cut those from black cardstock before but it looked too dark just in black.

I also die cut two clouds using the Puffy Clouds dies by MFT and glued them onto the sky. Next to the clouds I stamped a few flying sea birds.

On the oval I put Paulchen, the little bear with his paper boat, that made a trip to the beach. I colored him with Copics and went with more muted colors, that went well with the look of my card. I used a white gel pen for the hightlights. Next to the bear I put two sea shells, that I cut from white cardstock and colored with Copics. 

And then I thought, that there are too many vertical elements and wanted to add another horizontal one. So I die cut the rectangle rope frame by Marianne Design from white cardstock, cut off one of the longer sides and shaded it with Copics. Then I adhered the rope with the know between the scene and the text across the card.

I matted the rectangle black and glued it onto the patterned paper.

Ebenfalls aus dem wie den Sand gewischten Cardstock habe ich dann das neue Strandzeit gestanzt. Das Wort habe ich mit zwei weiteren Stanzteilen hinterlegt, leicht versetzt schwarz gemattet und auf den unteren Teil meiner Karte geklebt.

Also from the cardstock inked in the sandy look I die cut the new "beach time" die. I put two more white die cuts behind it, put a layer of black cardstock a bit offset under it and then glued it to the bottom of my card.

Das Rechteck samt Motiven habe ich mit 3D Tape auf das Designpapier geklebt und auch hinter den Gräsern, dem Bären und dem Oval befindet sich 3D Tape. Dann habe ich alles schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I adhered the rectangle with the images with foam tape to the patterned paper and also put foam tape behind the grass, the bear and the oval. Then I matted my card panel black and adhered it to a white note card.

Geburtstag Down Under

Meine Zwillinge hatten Geburtstag - die Karte für eine der beiden habe ich Euch ja bereits gezeigt. Die zweite ist, wie auch schon erwähnt, gerade für ein Auslandssemester in Australien. Da musste die Karte natürlich passend....

Hello everyone!

My twins just celebrated their birthday - the card for one of them I already shared with you. The other half of my twins is currently for six months in Australia. Of course I had to make my card make aussie related!

Gleich vorweg - ja, die Karte ist relativ schlicht, zumindest für mich. Aber ich war mir nicht sicher, wie eine Karte mit vielen Lagen die weite Reise nach Australien überstehen würde. Und deswegen habe ich alle Elemente direkt aufeinander geklebt und keinerlei 3D Tape verwendet. 

Ich habe hier eine Strandszene mit Bergen im Hintergrund gestaltet und natürlich durfte das Thema Surfen nicht fehlen.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich erst das Meer und den Himmel verdeckt und den Boden mit Distress Oxide Antique Linen und Ground Espresso gewischt und dort dann etwas verdünntes Ground Espresso sowie weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

Dann habe ich den Mountain Stencil von LawnFawn aufgelegt und die Berge mit Tea Dye und Gathered Twigs gewischt. Auch hier habe ich wieder etwas des verdünnten Tea Dye aufgespritzt.

Als nächstes habe ich mit Salty Ocean das Meer gewischt und Wellenlinien mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt.

Und ganz zum Schluss kam der Himmel. Ich habe ein Stück Masking Tape rund ausgestanzt und auf den Himmel geklebt. Den habe ich dann mit Tumbled Glass und Mermaid Lagoon gewischt und dabei rund um die Sonne etwas Platz gelassen. Dann habe ich die Maske abgenommen und die Sonne mit Squeezed Lemonade gewischt.

Before I talk about the details of the card - yes, it's a quite simple one, at least for me. But I really wasn't sure how good a card with lots of layer would handle the trip all the way to Australia. And so I glued all elements directly onto each other without using any foam tape.

I created a beach scene with mountains in the background. And of course I also had to include something surfing related.

For the background I first covered the ocean and the sky and inked the ground with Distress Oxide Antique Linen and Ground Espresso, then flicked some Ground Espresso mixed with water and some white acrylic paint onto it.

Then I put the Mountain stencil by LawnFawn onto the cardstock and inked the mountains with Tea Dye and Gathered Twigs. Again I added some splatter with some watered down Tea Dye.

Next I inked the ocean with Salty Ocean and added some waves with a white gel pen.

And as a last step I did the sky. I die cut a circle from some masking tape and glued it onto the sky. Then I inked the area around it with Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon, leaving some kind of halo around the sun white. Then I removed the mask and inked the sun with Squeezed Lemonade.

Für die Geburtstags-Surf-Szene kamen natürlich hauptsächlich die Stempelsets Kanga-Rriffic und Kanga-Rriffic Add-On zum Einsatz. Alle Motive habe ich mit Copics coloriert. 

Der Kookaburra im Baum, die Eidechse auf dem Stein und alle Kängurus tragen Partyhüte, die ich aus verschiedenen Sets zusammengesucht habe. Die ganz kleinen sind, genauso wie die Torte, aus dem Tiny Birthday Friends Set. 

Das springende Känguru - ich behaupte mal, es ist der Vater - trägt eine Sonnenbrille aus dem On the Beach Set, sein Surfbrett hat er sich vom Weihnachtsmann aus dem Set Beachy Christmas geliehen. Das Brett habe ich, genau wie das meiner Tochter, mit ein paar rosafarbenen Blüten verziert. 

Mama Känguru trägt in ihrem Beutel ein Geschenk und einen Blumenstrauß. Praktisch, so ein Beutel, denn so hat man die Hände frei! Und das kleine Surfbrett hinter dem Känguru-Mädchenhabe ich aus dem Set Car Critters Road Trip Add-On genommen. Die Partytröte ist dann wieder aus dem Tiny Birthday Friends Set. 

Und weil sie zu einer Party einfach gehören, habe ich noch zwei Luftballons aus dem Elephant Parade Add-On Set mit auf die Karte geklebt.

In den Sandboden habe ich mit den Sandy Beach Accents Stanzen einige Schlitze gestanzt und die Motive teilweise dahinter geschoben. 

For my birthday-surf-scene I mainly used images from the Kanga-Rriffic set and the Kanga-Rriffic Add-On Set. I colored all of them with Copics.

The Kookaburra in the tree, the lizard on the stone and all kangaroos are wearing party hats that I picked from different sets. The really tiny ones are, just like the birthday cake, from the Tiny Birthday Friends set.

The jumping kangaroo - I think it's the dad here - is wearing sun glasses from the On the Beach set, his surf board he borrowed from Santa from the Beachy Christmas set. I decorated it with some pink flowers to make it look like my daughter's. 

Mama kangaroo has put a gift and a present into her bag. I think that's very handy because this way you always have your hands free. The little surf board behind the kangaroo girl I took from the Car Critters Road Trip Add-On set. 

And since they just belong to any birthday party I added two balloons from the Elephant Parade Add-On set.

I cut some slits into the beach using the Sandy Beach Accents dies and put the images partly into them.

Irgendwo wollte ich dann auch noch einen Text unterbringen - und der Himmel bot sich dafür an. Aber einfach einen Text draufstempeln wollte ich nicht. Also habe ich eine der Partygirlanden aus dem Fishtail Banner Border Set aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert. Auf den mittleren Fähnchen habe ich dann ein HB2U verteilt - gestempelt mit dunkelgrüner Tinte - und auf die beiden äußeren Fähnchen kleine Herzen geklebt.

Das Banner habe ich dann quer über den Himmel geklebt und dort dann noch zwei Möwen aus dem Life is Good Set aufgestempelt.

Of course my card needed a text and the sky was the perfect spot. But I didn't want to just stamp it onto it. So I die cut one of the party banners from the Fishtail Banner Border Set from white cardsdtock and colored it with Copics. Onto the four banners in the middle I stamped HB2U with dark green ink, onto the banners on the very left and right I glued two small hearts.

I've hung the banner across the sky and then stamped two flying sea birds from the Life is Good set onto the sky.
