Hallo und schönen Pfingstmontag! Auch heute am Feiertag starten wir bei Stamps&Fun=Creativity eine neue Challenge für Euch. Passend zu den Ferien lautet unser Thema "Urlaub".

Hello and happy monday! Even if there´s a holiday today here in Germany we at Stamps&Fun=Creativity have a new challenge starting for you. Since there is the time of school holidays we picked the theme of vacation.

Nun, Urlaub muß ja nicht immer mit einer weiten Reise verbunden sein. Darum habe ich den runden Text "mal die Seele baumeln lassen" am PC erstellt, dazu noch die Worte "schöne Ferien" und ihn dann zusammen mit der süßen Fee von Belles´n´Whistles "Fairy Fond Thoughts" kombiniert. Für mich sieht sie aus als ob sie einen freien Tag im Wald genießen und einfach in den Tag träumen würde. Auch eine Art Urlaub, wie ich finde.

Well, vacation don´t has to mean a travel far away. So I created the round sentiment which means something like to leave all cares behind and also the saying of "happy holidays" and used both with this cute fairy from Belles´n´Whistles "Fairy Fond Thoughts". To me she´s looking like she is having a day off, sitting there and enjoying nature. Also this is some kind of holiday to me.

Hello and happy sunday morning! There´s a new challenge up at Magnolia Down Under - and our theme this week is "alter something".

Ich habe für mein Lehrer-Geschenk zwei Streichholzschachteln - ohne die Schublade innen - mit Tesa aneinander geklebt und dann mit Designpapier überzogen. Und bei Katharina habe ich die Idee mit den embossten Bleistiften gesehen - klappt prima!

For my teacher´s gift I took two matchbox - without the "drawer" inside - and glued them together with tape before I covered them with designer´s paper. And the idea of the embossed pencils is something I saw at Katharina´s blog - works great!

Hallo und schönen Samstag Ihr Lieben! Es ist wieder Zeit für das Stempeleinmaleins. Der Sommer ist da (naja, die letzten Tage wohl auf Urlaub aber irgendwo hier muß er sein) und Sommerzeit ist Eiszeit! Und darum gibt es heute Eis am Stiel. In meinem Fall Vanille mit Schokoladenüberzug.

Hello and happy saturday! It´s time for the weekly issue of Stempeleinmaleins. Summer is here (okay, seems like he took some days off this last week but he must be here somewhere) and summer time means time for icecream! So today we have popsicles for everyone. For me it´s vanilla with chocolat covering.

Luv a Latte ist der Stempel, den ich hier verwendet habe. Um das Motiv der Karte anzupassen habe ich den Kaffeebecher durch eine leckere Tüte Eis von Whiff Of Joy ersetzt.

Luv a Latte is the name of this stamp. To make it match the card I replaced the cup of coffee with a yummy icecream cone by Whiff Of Joy.

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Auch diesen Freitag darf ich einen Inspiration Post auf dem Simply Sassy Blog posten - diesmal rassig in rot und weiß und schwarz. 5th Avenue heißt dieser Stempel... Was immer diese Schönheit diesen Abend noch vorhat - es könnte eine lange Nacht werden. Ich hatte überlegt, das Kleid mit rotem Glitter zu überziehen, es dann aber doch gelassen. Statt dessen habe ich eine große schwarze Blume gemacht und dazu das schwarz-weiße Leopardenpapier kombiniert. Etwas schwarze Distress Ink an die Ränder und außerdem habe ich mit einem Schriftstempel von Stampin`Up das rote Hintergrundpapier zusätzlich etwas auf alt getrimmt.

Hello dear friends! Also this friday I am happy to make an inspiration post over at the Simply Sassy Blog - and this one turned out quite vamp-ish in red and white and black. 5th Avenue is the name of this stamp... Well, whatever it is she´s planning for tonight - it might be a long one! I was thinking about putting red glitter all over her dress to make it look even more spectacular but decided against it. Instead I made a big black flower and also used some of the black and white leo print paper. A little bit of black Distress Ink and some black stamping with a text stamp by Stampin´Up on the red paper adds a little extra touch.

Hallo und willkommen an diesem Donnerstag. Wie jede Woche startet auch heute eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday. "Pins and Pearls" lautet diesmal unser Thema, Schmucknadeln und Perlen.

Hello and welcome here on this quite rainy thursday. As every week there is a new challenge at Cute Card Thursday also today. Pins and pearls is what we picked as the theme.

Ich wurde wieder gebeten, eine Karte zum 70. Geburtstag zu machen - für eine Dame und mit eingebautem Gutschein. Die süße Tilda schien mir perfekt dafür, hat sie sich doch extra chic gemacht. Und natürlich sollte auch wieder die Zahl 70 eingebaut werden - in diesem Fall hat sie ihren Platz auf dem Tag gefunden.

I have been asked to make another card for a 70th birthday - for a lady and with a gift voucher included. This cute Tilda seemed to be perfect for this since she dressed up herself so pretty just for this day. And I also needed to include the number 70 - I put them on a tag this time.

Bei Charisma Cardz lautet das Thema "how old" - und es soll das Alter des Geburtstagskindes auf der Karte zu sehen sein.

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Es ist Mittwoch und somit Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy - diesmal mit einer besonders leckeren: "strawberries and cream" - Erdbeeren mit Sahne... Stellt Euch davon eine schöne große Schüssel voll vor und verwendet dann bitte diese Farben auf Eurer Karte.

Hello over there! It´s wednesday and so it´s time for a new challenge over at Whiff Of Joy - and it´s a pretty yummy one this week: "strawberries and cream". Imagine a big bowl of it and then use those colors on your creation.

Ahoi - und schönen Dienstag! Heute habe ich eine Karte im Marine-Look für Euch. Könnt Ihr glauben, daß die süße Meerjungfrau zwar von meinen Mädels schon ausgiebig genutzt wurde, ich sie aber bisher kein einziges Mal verwendet habe? Na, da wurde es aber Zeit! Mir kam die Idee für diese kleine Szene, gearbeitet als runde Easel-Card, passend zur Form des Bullauges.

Ahoy - and happy tuesday! Today I have a marine look creation to share with you. Can you believe that this cute mermaid was used by my girls quite often but I didn´t ink her up even once so far? So, it was time to finally do so! I got the idea of this little szene and made a round easel card, matching the shape of the porthole.

Um die Meerjungfrau herum schwimmen ein paar rote Fische und etwas Seegras durfte natürlich auch nicht fehlen. Etwas Cheesecloth paßt ebenfalls prima ins Bild. Für die Wellen habe ich den "Abfall" von Border Cutting Dies verwendet, mit etwas Glitzer und weißem Gelstift auf Wellen getrimmt. Und die Meerjungfrau glitzert natürlich wunderbar.

A few red fish swim around that mermaid and of course I also needed to add some sea weed. Also the cheesecloth looks great here. For the waves I used the "wrong" parts of border cutting dies, the parts you usually trash. I added some Stickles and white gel pen to make them look like waves. And of course there is a lot of Stickles on that little mermaid.

Hallo und schönen Montag Morgen! Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Stamps&Fun=Creativity. Und diesmal haben wir das Thema Freunde ausgesucht. Schließlich braucht man keinen Grund, um einem Freund für seine Freundschaft zu danken.

Hello and happy monday morning! It´s time for another challenge over at Stamps&Fun=Creativity. This week we picked the theme of friendship since you don´t really need a reason to thank someone for his friendship.

Mir war nach dezenten Farben... Ich habe das Motiv auf kraftfarbenen Cardstock gestempelt und es nur stellenweise coloriert, dazu ein paar Highlights in weiß gesetzt. Ich finde, das verleiht dem Motiv einen besonderen Touch. Auf das fast schon obliatorische Distressen habe ich verzichtet um nicht vom zarten Motiv abzulenken.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 4. Juni 2011

Hallo und schönen Samstag! Es ist Zeit für eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins - diesmal mit einer Anleitung für eine Double Pocket Card. Je nachdem eine Karte oder "nur" ein Umschlag mit zwei diagonalen Taschen für Tags.

Hello and happy saturday! It´s time for a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins - and this week we have a tutorial for a double pocket card. It´s a card or "just" an envelope with two diagonal pocket in which you can put tags in.

Ich habe eine Vatertagskarte gefertigt - die Kartenform finde ich prima für Männer. Das süße Motiv von Vater Bär und Kind Bär ist von Lili of the Valley. Die Buchstaben und Sterne sind gestanzt, der große Stern ist mit kleinen Glaskügelchen überzogen.

I made a father´s day card - I think this type of card is great for men. The cute image of papa bear and child bear is by Lili of the Valley. The letters and stars are punched/die cut, the big star is covered with a bunch of tiny glass pearls.

Die Tags sind von Magnolia - nur am Computer vergrößert, auf Designpapier übertragen und mit der Hand ausgeschnitten. Darauf sind dann noch die Shooting Stars von Magnolia gestempelt.

The tags are by magnolia - just made bigger on the computer, copied on designer´s paper and cut by hand. I also stamped the Shooting Stars by Magnolia on them.

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Es ist wieder Freitag - auch wenn es sich wegen des Feiertages gestern eher wie Montag anfühlt - und somit Zeit für einen neuen Inspiration Post auf dem Simply Sassy Blog.

Hello to all of you! It´s friday again and that means it´s time for another inspiration post over at the Simply Sassy blog.

Für diese Karte habe ich Guinevere verwendet, die für mich wie eine römische Göttin aussieht. Also habe ich sie in rot, gold und creme gekleidet. Außerdem habe ich eine Art Aura in gold um sie herum gezeichnet. Um im Farbkonzept zu bleiben, habe ich cremefarbene und rote Papiere gewählt und mit goldenem Embossingpulver die Papierränder distressed.

I used Guinevere for ths card - she looks like a roman goddess to me. So I used red, gold and cream to color her in. I also added a golden shadow around her that looks like an aura. To keep with these colors for the rest of the card I used red and cream papers and did some distressing to the edges with golden embossing powder.

Cute Card Thursday - embellish it

Alles Liebe zum Vatertag an alle Männer da draußen - für den Fall, daß sich einer hierher "verirren" sollte. Naja, und die heutige Karte ist jetzt ja auch nicht sonderlich männertauglich. ;o) Auch heute gibt es wie immer eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday - und diesmal lautet das Thema "embellish it". Es soll das Motiv verziert werden.

Happy father´s day to all those men out there - just in case any should come by here. And today´s card is not looking too man-ish either... ;o) Also today there is a new challenge starting over at Cute Card Thursday - and our theme is "embellish it". So put some embellishing on your image.

Ich habe Tilda in Summer Rain verwendet - auf den Zöpfen habe ich kleine Schleifchen angebracht, die Gummistiefel haben kleine Herz-Applikationen bekommen und auf dem Regenschirm habe ich etwas gepaper-pieced. Die Pfütze zu Tilda´s Füßen hat außerdem noch eine Schicht Stickles und darüber eine dicke Lage Glossy Accents bekommen...

I used Tilda in Summer Rain - and added two tiny bows to her hair, two hearts to her boots and paper pieced the umbrella. The puddle she is standing in is first covered with some Stickles, than I added a thick layer of Glossy Accents....

Passend zum weiß-blau des Motives habe ich dann auch die Papiere ausgesucht und ein wenig distressed. Der Briefmarken-Text ist von Whimsy Stamps, der kleine Spruch darunter ein Teil eines Stampin´Up Stempels. Ergänzt habe ich das ganze dann mit einem Knopf, einer Schleife, ein paar Perlen und Glitzersteinchen und ein paar Blumen.

I picked the papers matching the blue and white color scheme on the image and distressed them a bit. The stamp text is by Whimsy Stamps, the little sentiment underneath is a part of a stamp by Stampin´Up. To finish the card I added a button, a bow, a few pearls and gems and those flowers.

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Mit meiner sommerlichen Karte heute kämpfe ich gegen den unaufhörlich fallenden Regen draußen an, hole mir quasi den Sommer zurück.

Hello dear friends! With today´s card I am trying to get the summer back, at least in my craft room, and am really hardly trying to ignore the pouring rain outside.

Das süße Motive Explore Tilda ist einfach wunderbar sommerlich und war traumhaft zu colorieren. Auch die Papiere sind fast alle aus der neuen Magnolia Kollektion und auch wenn ich grün und rot als Farbkombi eigentlich nicht wirklich mag - auf der Karte finde ich sie prima!

The cute image Explore Tilda is just too cute and it was so much fun to color it. Also nearly all papers are from the new Magnolia collection and even if I don´t really like the color combo of green and red - on this card I think it´s georgeous!
