Heute zeige ich Euch meine erste Vildastamps Karte für diesen Monat - natürlich eine Weihnachtskarte.

Today I am sharing my first Vildastamps card of this month - of course it's a christmas card.
Ich habe eine Basis aus craftfarbenem Cardstock verwendet und mittig einen Stern ausgestanzt. Die Ränder und eine Rahmen um den Stern habe ich goldfarben embosst. Und da mir das ganze noch zu nackig aussah, habe ich mit verdünnter weißer Acrylfarbe Spritzer wie Schneeflocken darauf verteilt. Hinter den sternförmigen Ausschnitt habe ich mit 3D Tape weißen Cardstock angebracht, den ich vorher mit einem der Stempel aus dem Steampunk Winter 2 Stempelset bestempelt und ebefalls embosst habe - mit dem Toaster, denn meine Große hatte sich den Embossingföhn ausgeliehen und ich hatte das vergessen. Da waren die Stempel aber schon gesetzt. Für den Rest der Karte habe ich dann den Föhn wieder gehabt - aber man kann den Unterschied im Embossingpulver sehen, und meine Finger schmerzen jetzt noch. LOL
I made a base using some craft colored cardstock and cut out a star from the middle. I did some golden embossing on the edges of the paper and around the star. And since it looked too plain to me I mixed some white acrylic paint with some water and added speckles that look like snowflakes.
Behind the starshaped cut out I put some white cardstock using 3D tape. Before I used one of the stamps from the Steampunk Winter 2 stamp set and golden embossing powder to add some pattern. I had to use the toaster to melt the embossing powder because my oldest had borrowed my heating tool and I didn't think of it until the powder was on my cardstock. I had the tool back for the rest of my card but I think you can really tell the difference when looking at the embossing powder. Not to mention my fingers that still hurt. LOL
Vom Rand des Sterns hängen diese beiden Socken aus dem Stempelset Christmas Socks with Details, coloriert mit Copics. Ich habe ein türkisblau verwendet, um etwas Farbe auf die Karte zu bringen. Darüber ist dann ein Glöckchen und eine Schleife in demselben Ton angebracht.
These two stockings from the Christmas Socks with Details stamp set are hanging from the edge of the star. I used a turquoise to color them in because I wanted to bring some color to my card. Above there are a bell and a bow in the same color attached.
Und damit das mit den Socken auch Sinn macht, habe ich diesen tollen Text aus dem English Christmas Lyrics Stempelset verwendet. Er ist rund ausgestanzt, türkis hinterlegt und mit Blumen, einem Tannenzapfen und einem Perlenstrang dekoriert.
Quer über die Karte habe ich dann noch ein paar Holzsterne verteilt.
And then I used this saying from the English Christmas Lyrics stamp set that goes so great with the socks. It's cut out using a round die, matted in turquoise and decorated with flowers, a pinecone and one of those pearl things.
At the end I added some wooden stars across my card.
