Vor einiger Zeit habe ich Euch ja schon die Weihnachtskarte für meine hunde-liebende Tochter gezeigt. Heute nun zeige ich auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog das Pendant für ihre katzen-liebende Zwillingsschwester.

A little ago I've shared the christmas card I made for the dog lover of my twins. Today I am sharing the matching card for my cat lover twin #2 over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog.
Auch das ist eine Shadow Box Card - man muss ja immer aufpassen, dass sich keine zurückgesetzt fühlt. Darum ist die Karte ähnlich und doch anders. Und da es ja leider kein Katzen-Weihnachtsset von MFT gibt, musste ich etwas improvisieren.
Der Ausschnitt der Karte ist wieder mit einem der Stitched Square Scallop Frames gemacht.
Und bevor Ihr fragt - ja, ich hatte auch diesmal einen Ohrwurm!
Also this one is a shadow bow card - I always make sure they get similar things. So this card is similar but still different. And since there isn't a cat christmas stamp set by MFT I had to think outside the box.
The window in the card is again made using one of the Stitched Square Scallop Frames die.
And before you ask - yes, I had another song stuck in my head for two days!
Die Szene ist diesmal anders - für die gemauerte Wand habe ich den Small Brick Background verwendet. Darauf kam das Classic Window, hinter dem eine kleine Winterlandschaft sowie der Weihnachtsmann mit seinem Schlitten erkennbar sind. Und für das Parkett, das man hier nicht wirklich erkennen kann, habe ich wieder den Wood Plank Background benutzt.
Die süße Katze ist aus dem Stempelset Cool Cat. Ich habe ihr eine Christbaumkugel aus dem Stempelset Happy Pawlidays zum Spielen gegeben. Aus dem selben Set ist auch das Geschenk. Das Wollknäuel und die Maus sind aus dem Stempelset I Knead You. Die Maus habe ich als Geschenk verpackt, Dafür habe ich das Motiv mit heller Tinte abgestempelt, coloriert und anschließend nur die äußeren Linien mit einem schwarzen Fineliner nachgemalt.
Unter dem Weihnachtsbaum ist wieder einer der Oval Shadows als Christbaumdecke.

The scene is a little different this time - for the brick wall I used the Small Brick Background. On top of it I've put the Classic Window, through which a little winter scene and Santa with his sleigh can be seen. And for the wooden floor, that can't be really seen here, I used the Wood Plank Background again.
The cute cat is from the Cool Cat stamp set. I gave it a christmas bauble from the Happy Pawlidays stamp set to play with. The gift is from the same set. The wool and the mouse are from the I Knead You stamp set. I've wrapped the mouse in wrapping paper. Therefor I used some light ink to stamp the mouse, colored it in and then used a black fineliner to only re-draw the outlines.

Außen an der Lichterkette hängt eine weitere Katze. Für die Lichterkette habe ich schwarzes Band quer über die Karte gezogen und dann die einzelnen Lichter aus dem Stempelset Happy Pawlidays daran befestigt. Die Lichter sind wieder mit Glossy Accents überzogen.
And on the outside, on the light string, another cat is having fun. For the light string I've put black twine across the card and then glued the single light bulbs from the Happy Pawlidays stamp set to it. Again the lights are covered with Glossy Accents.
