Mit einem neuen Sketch startet heute wieder eine Challenge beim Stempeleinmaleins. Und ich habe wieder eine Geburtstagskarte gemacht. Zum 100ten - oder doppelten 50ten.

With another sketch we are starting our new challenge over at Stempeleinmaleins today. And I made a birthday card again - for a 100th birthday, or better said a doulbe 50th.
Ich habe dem Sketch zwei weitere Lagen im Hintergrund hinzugefügt und auch den Ring mit Designpapier hinterlegt. Ich kann einfach nicht einfach....
Die Namen der "Geburtstagskinder" sollten auf der Karte erscheinen. Also habe ich zweimal die Zahl 50 aus einem Kreis ausgestanzt, blau hinterlegt und die Namen klein als Banner auf die Zahlen geklebt. Die 100 findet sich dann in dem Ring hinter dem Motiv. Dazu habe ich einfach den Ring passend zur Größe meiner Stanzen in einem Grafikprogramm erstellt, ausgedruckt und anschließend ausgestanzt.
I've added another two layers in the background and also put some designer's paper behind the ring. I simply can't do simple....
The friend I made the card for asked me to include the names of the birthday couple. So I've die cut 50 from a circle twice, put some blue cardstock behind them and printed the names kind of small onto banners. Those banners were glued across the numbers. The 100 that needed to be included can be found on the ring behind the image. I simply created the ring matching the size of my dies using a graphic programm, printed it out and then used two circle dies to cut it out.
Das Motiv ist wieder ein Digi von Mo Manning. Es ist gar nicht so einfach, ein passendes Motiv für uns Middleager zu finden! Zu runzelig sollten sie auch nicht aussehen, nicht, dass man sich unbeliebt macht. Aber die beiden hier passen prima. Coloriert habe ich wie immer mit Copics.
The image is a Digi by Mo Manning again. It really wasn't easy to find an image of a couple in their middle ages! I didn't want them to look too wrinkled - you don't want to offend anyone. But these two are just perfect. As usual I did the coloring with my Copics.
Die Glückwünsche auf dem Tag sind von Kulricke. Und auch wenn die Karte auch für einen Mann ist - ein paar Blumen mussten sein. Für den Mann ist dann eben der Luftballon rechts auf der Karte.... ;)
I stamped the birthday wishes onto the tag. And even if the card is for a man as well - I just had to add a few flowers. Let's say these are for the woman and the balloon on the right of the card is for the man... ;)
