Von SF Stamps gibt es ja jetzt die neuen Luftballon-Stempel, als Zahlen und Buchstaben. Die sind letzten Samstag bei mir gelandet und ich habe sie schon ordentlich eingeweiht! Stellt Euch also auf mehrere Karten in nächster Zeit ein... ;)
Hello everyone!
There are new balloon stamps by SF Stamps, letter and number balloons. They came in the mail last saturday and I've already inked them up well. So be prepared for quite a few cards with those the next days/weeks.... ;)
Starten möchte ich mit dieser Kommunion-Karte. Noch ist ja Saison.
Ich habe den Hintergrund mit einem Stempel von MFT gemacht, weiß auf weißen Cardstock embosst und die Zwischenräume mit Distress Ink gewischt. Unten habe ich dann zwei Wellenbordüren aufgeklebt und dazwischen das Papierschiffchen gesetzt.
I'm starting with this Holy Communion card - it's still the season.
I made the background using a stamp by MFT, heat embossed with white powder onto white cardstock and then inked up the unstamped areas with Distress Ink. To the bottom I've added two die cut wave borders and put the paper boat inbetween those.
Aber die Karte sollte natürlich kindgerecht werden! Also habe ich die Buchstaben für Kommunion gestempelt, ausgeschnitten - die Schnüre habe ich hier abgeschnitten - und sie in Regenbogenfarben coloriert. Ich gebe zu, wir sind nicht wirklich gläubig und darum habe ich, außer dem, was ich früher im Religionsunterricht gelernt habe, keine große Ahnung von der Kommunion. Aber Regenbogen, Boote und Tauben werden oft verwendet. Darum habe ich diese Motive kombiniert. Die Buchstaben sind teilweise direkt auf die Karte und teilweise mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Zum Schluss kam dann noch die Taube oben rechts in die Ecke.
But of course I wanted the card to be suitable for a child. So I've stamped the letter balloons for the word Communion, cut them out - I've cut off the strings here - and colored them in in rainbow colors. I have to admit we're not religious and beside what I've learned back in school I don't know much about the holy communion. But I see rainbows, boats and doves used quite often. So I've combined those images. Some of the letters were glued directly onto the background, some were attached with dimensional ltape. In the end I've added the dove to the top right corner.
