Heute habe ich wieder eine Karte zu zeigen, für die ich das Saddle Up and Celebrate Stempelset von MFT verwendet habe. Diesmal ist eine Freundschafts-Karte geworden.

Today I want to share another card that I've used the Saddle Up and Celebrate stamp set for. This time it's a friendship card.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich eine hellblaue Grundkarte benutzt und diese komplett mit dem Wort FRIENDS bestempelt. Dafür habe ich einen Teil eines der Stempel aus dem Happy Hippos Set und braune Stempelfarbe benutzt.
Ob die beiden roten Kreise im Hintergrund eine gute Idee waren bin ich mir immer noch nicht sicher. Aber irgendwas hat einfach gefehlt. Und so ist zumindest ein wenig Farbe auch auf der Karte, nicht nur im Cowgirl.
For the background I've used a light blue card base and completly covered it with the word FRIENDS. I used a part of a stamp from the Happy Hippos stamp set and brown ink here.
I am still not sure if those two red circle in the background were a good idea. But it just felt like something was missing and with the circles I've also added some color so it's not only in the cowgirl.
Auf die blaue Karte kam dann ein Stück brauner Cardstock und darauf ein "Fahndungsplakat". Darauf habe ich nicht nur den Text mit brauner Tinte aufgestempelt, ich habe die Ränder auch mit einem distressing tool bearbeitet und Distress Ink Vintage Photo aufgewischt. An drei der Ecken habe ich Brads in Nagel-Optik angebracht.
Then I've added a rectangle from brown cardstock onto my background and on top of that the wanted poster. Onto this I did not only stamp the saying using brown ink, I've also distressed the edges with a distressing tool and added Distress Ink Vintage Photo. On three of the four corners I've attached a brad with a nail look.
Zwischen den beiden Teilen des Textes habe ich eine kleine Szene gestaltet. Auch hierfür habe ich nur Distress Ink Vintage Photo benutzt. Ich habe mit der Cloud Stencil die Wolken und mit der Grassy Edges Stempel das Gras aufgewischt. Das Wagenrad und den Kaktus aus dem Stempelset Saddle Up and Celebrate habe ich ebenfalls nur in braun aufgestempelt und nicht coloriert. Dann habe ich das Plakat noch zerknüllt und wieder ein wenig glatt
gestrichen. So Fahndungsplakate aus dem Wilden Westen müssen einfach
etwas lädiert aussehen.
Coloriert ist nur das Cowgirl, das ich ausgeschnitten und mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt habe. Ich wollte sie unbedingt mit rötlichen Haaren colorieren und mit einem braunen Fineliner habe ich außerdem ein paar Sommersprossen dazugemalt.
Between the two parts of the saying I've created a little scene. Also for this I've only used Distress Ink Vintage Photo. I used the Cloud stencil for the clouds and the Grassy Edges stencil for the grass. The wheel and the cactus from the Saddle Up and Celebrate stamp set were also stamped in brown and I didn't color those in. Before I glued the poster down I've crumpled it up and smoothed it out a
bit again. Those wanted posters from the Wild West just have to look a
bit distressed.
What I did color is the cute cowgirl. I just wanted her to have reddish brown hair and also used a brown fineliner to add some freckles. Then I've cut her out and glued her onto the card using dimensionals.
