Weihnachtsstress?

Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Heute darf ich nochmal Gastdesignerin auf dem MFT-Blog sein.

Ich weiß ja nicht, wie es bei Euch immer so ist. Aber ich bin Perfektionistin. Das ist grundsätzlich mal nichts schlechtes, aber manchmal sorgt es doch für Stress. Vorallem am Abend vor Weihnachten. Die Karte heute könnte also ein Foto von mir am Abend des 23.12. sein. ;)

Today I am having another post as a guestdesigner over at the MFT-Blog.

I don't know about you. But I am a perfectionista. That's not a bad thing in gerneral but every now and then it puts me under a lot of stress. For example on the night before christmas. So the card today could show a pic of me on the evening of december 23rd. ;)

Auf die Idee zu der Karte bin ich durch den tollen Spruch aus dem neuen Stempelset Sassy Pants Holidays von MFT gekommen. Ich weiß nicht, ob er wirklich so etwas verzweifelt-ironisch gemeint ist, aber so habe ich ihn aufgefasst. Ich habe ihn direkt mit Field Day Green Tinte auf eine weiße Kartenbasis gestempelt.

I got the idea to this card from this great saying from the new Sassy Pants Holidays stamp set by MFT. I don't know if it really was meant to be that desperately ironic as I understood it, but I like the idea. I've stamped it directly onto a white card base using Field Day Green ink.

Als Kartenaufleger habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstock mit dem Christmas Background und Biskuit Tinte bestempelt und anschließend grün gemattet.

Der Merry Christmas Circle Frame ist aus goldenem Glitzercardstock gestanzt und mittig auf den Aufleger geklebt. Darauf kamen ein - halb geschmückter - Tannenbaum und ich, äh der in die Lichterkette verhedderte Bär. Der Tannenbaum ist aus dem Stempelset Santa's Elves, das zu einem meiner absoluten Favoriten gehört. 

Den Bären aus dem Stempelset Unbearably Cute habe ich abgestempelt und anschließend die Lichterkette hinzugefügt. Für die Lichterkette habe ich nur das eine Lämpchen des in die Lichterkette eingewickelten Hundes aus dem Set Happy Pawlidays über und um den Bär herum abgestempelt und nach dem Colorieren die einzelnen Lichter mit einem schwarzen Fineliner zu einer Lichterkette verbunden. Nach dem Ausschneiden habe ich ihn dann vor den Baum gelegt, wo er jetzt gerade von einem Cocktail träumt.

To decorate the card I've stamped the Christmas Background onto white cardstock using the Biskuit Ink Pad and matted the rectangle with some green cardstock. 

The Merry Christmas Circle Frame was cut from golden glitter cardstock, on top of it I've added a - half set up - tree and me, äh the poor bear tangled in the lights. The tree is from one of my all time favourite sets "Santa's Elves" and colored in with Copics. 

The bear is one from the brand new Unbearably Cute stamp set. As mentioned he's totally tangled in those lights. To create that look I've stamped the bear first, then used the cute puppy from the Happy Pawlidays stamp set wrapped in christmas lights, only inking up one of the light bulbs, and stamped the bulbs across the bear. After coloring it in I've used a black Fineliner to connect the lights. Then I've cut him out and now he's lying in front of the tree, dreaming of a nice and fresh cocktail.
