Heute bin ich wieder an der Reihe, auf dem Kulricke-Blog zu posten. Also zeige ich heute diese fröhliche Karte mit einem der kleinen Delphine.

It's my turn again to post over at the Kulricke-Blog. So I am sharing this card today using one of the little dolphins.
Für den Hintergrund der Karte habe ich eines der Designpapiere aus dem Set Pirat Junge verwendet. Darauf kam ein weißes Rechteck, das ich dekoriert habe. Auf den Übergang zwischen den beiden Papieren habe ich ein Stück hellblauen Cardstock geklebt, dessen oberen Rand ich mit einer Wellenstanze verziert habe.
For the background of the card I've used some blue and white striped designer's paper and glued a rectangle cut from white cardstock on top of it. This one got decorated later. To the bottom of the card I've added a piece of light blue cardstock, using a wave border on one of the edges here.
Auf das weiße Rechteck habe ich mit Distress Ink Tumbled Glass ein paar Wolken aufgewischt. Darauf kam dann der Text, gestanzt mit Do more...happy Stanze aus hellblauem Designpapier mit weißen Punkten, das sich ebenfalls im Papierset befindet. Da mir der Kontrast nicht groß genug war, habe ich den Text dann erst auf roten Cardstock geklebt und mit der Hand ausgeschnitten und ihn anschließend auf das Rechteck geklebt.
Der Text ist ein wenig nach links versetzt, so dass genug Platz für den kleinen Delphin war. Ihn habe ich ein wenig unter die Wellen geschoben. Und wer das Stempelset kennt, der sieht, dass ich den Ball vom Delphin "wegmaskiert" und einzeln nochmal abgestempelt habt. Das hat natürlich seinen Grund, und den zeige ich Euch hier:
To the white rectangle I've added some clouds using a clouds stencil and Distress Ink Tumbled Glass. Then I've put the text on top of it, cut from light blue designer's paper with white dots. Since I felt like there wasn't enough contrast I've first glued it onto red cardstock, cut it out by hand and then glued it onto the white cardstock with the clouds.
The saying is a little offset with a touch to the left - I did that so there was enough room for the little dolphin. I've slid him a bit under the waves border. And if you know the stamp set you might have realized that I've masked off the ball and then stamped it again individually. Of course there's a reason for that and I'll show it to you here:
Zieht man am roten Tab, der über dem weißen Rechteck sichtbar ist, spielt der Delphin mit dem Ball und stubst ihn in die Luft.
Dafür habe ich hinter den weißen Cardstock, der mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt ist, einen Streifen roten Cardstocks in einen "Kanal", den ich einfach mit 3D Tape gestaltet habe, eingeschoben. Auf ihm befindet sich ein kleiner Magnet. Ein zweiter Magnet ist hinten am Ball befestigt, der sich nun beim Ziehen am Streifen nach oben/unten bewegt.
If you pull the red tab that can be seen above the white rectangle the dolphin starts to play with the ball, throwing it in the air with his nose.
Therefor I've glued down the white carstock with dimensionals and put a strip cut from red cardstock in a channel that I've created using dimensionals on the back of the rectangle. To the strip I've attached a little magnet. Another magnet is glued to the back of the ball. So when you pull the strip the ball is moving with it.
