Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Vor kurzen habe ich ein neues Tutorial von Jennifer McGuire gesehen und wollte die Kartenart unbedingt ausprobieren. Und weil ich noch eine Weihnachtskarte brauchte und es auch perfekt passte, habe ich diese Karte gemacht, die wohl an meine Nichte - samt Familie - gehen wird.

I came across a new tutorial by Jennifer McGuire and really wanted to try it. And since I needed more christmas cards and also since I had the perfect idea I've ended up with this one that most likely will go to my little niece - and family.
Für meine Karte habe ich den Weltall-Hintergrund mit Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans, Chipped Saphire und Black Soot gewisht und mit weißer Acrylfarbe, gemischt mit Wasser, die Sterne aufgespritzt. Und weil das irgendwie zu fad aussah, habe ich noch ein paar kleine Planeten von LawnFawn weiß dazwischen embosst. Das war dann aber wieder zu krass - vielleicht waren es einfach zu viele. Also habe ich sie mit Copics dunkelblau ausgemalt (colorieren kann man hier nicht sagen) und auch die weißen Embossinglinien mit Copics blau eingefärbt.
For my card I've created the space background with Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans, Chipped Saphire and Black Soot and then added the stars by simply spritzing on some white acrylic paint, mixed with water. And since it felt like something's missing I also white heat embossed some planets by LawnFawn in between the stars. Well, the white embossing looked too hard so I've used a blue Copic marker to fill in the planets (you simply can't call that coloring) and also toned down the white embossing lines a bit.
Das besondere an der Karte ist, dass sich das Motiv im Kreis bewegt:

Die Weltkugel ist von Create a Smile - und ich liebe sie. Ich habe sie in dunkle Nacht gehüllt (ja, ich weiß, eigentlich ist ja nur auf einer Halbkugel Nacht, aber hey, künstlerische Freiheit!) und im Norden ordentlich Schnee verteilt. Wenn der bisher in der Realität schon auf sich warten lässt... Außerdem sieht man die Lichter der Großstädt, aufgetupft mit einem goldenen Spica Pen.
Santa und die Rentiere sind von LawnFawn. Ich liebe ja deren Agenda Sets und habe hier das Little Reindeer Agenda und das Little Santa Agenda Set verwendet. Das Ho Ho Ho ist mit einzelnen Buchstaben von SU auf eine Sprechblase gestempelt und hinten an Santa befestigt, so dass es sich mit drehen kann. Außerdem habe ich mit Stickles eine Glitzerspur unter/hinter den Rentieren und Santa verteilt. Und jetzt gerade fällt mir auf, dass da noch Leinen fehlen! Die werde ich auf jeden Fall noch hinzufügen!

The earth stamp is by Create a Smile - and I love it. I've colored it really dark since it's night (and yes, I know that it only can be night on one half of earth but hey, that's artistic freedom!) and also added a lot of snow to the north of earth. We still haven't seen any snow yet here so I at least wanted it to show on my card... You can also see the lights of those big cities, added with a golden Spica Pen.
Santa and his reindeer are by LawnFawn. I love their Agenda sets and here used the Little Reindeer Agenda and the Little Santa Agenda sets. The Ho Ho Ho was stamped using single letters by SU onto a little speech bubble and then glued to the back of Santa so the bubbles moves with the images. I've also added some glitter under/behind Santa and the reindeers. And now I just realize that the reign is missing - I will surely add one before handing out the card!
The saying is made using two different stamp sets by MFT.
