Bereits vorgestern startete die neue Challenge bei Stampcorner. Diesmal haben wir einen Sketch für Euch - meine Umsetzung zeige ich Euch hier mit ein klein wenig Verspätung... ;)

Already two days ago the new challenge over at Stampcorner has started. This time we've made a sketch for you - and I'm sharing my card following it here with you a little bit belated... ;)
Der Sketch lässt viel Spielraum für Interpretationen - das liebe ich. Ich habe meine Karte aus weißem Cardstock sowie goldenem Spiegelcardstock gewerkelt, die ich lilafarben gemattet habe. Lila ist ja eigentlich so gar nicht meine Farbe. Aber hier hat es einfach als Farbtupfer perfekt gepasst.
The sketch leaves a lot of room for interpretations - and I love that! I've made my card from silver cardstock and golden mirror cardstock and matted those with a purple cardstock. I usually don't use purple but here it just went perfectly with the other colors.
Den weißen Cardstock habe ich schräg zerschnitten und dort den Streifen aus goldenem Spiegelkarton eingesetzt, sie sind also auf einem Level. Zuvor habe ich das tolle Mandala mit goldenem Embossingpulver auf den weißen Cardstock bzw. mit weißem auf den Spiegelcardstock embosst. Beim Zusammensetzen habe ich dann darauf geachtet, dass das Muster genau fortlaufend ist.
Das love, das ich als Text auf die Karte geklebt habe, ist mit einer Stanze von MFT gemacht. Ich hatte es erst nur aus dem helleren Lila gestanzt. Aber irgendwie fehlte mir Kontrast. Also habe ich es nochmal aus einem Cardstock in einem dunkleren Lilaton gestanzt und leicht versetzt auf das andere aufgeklebt.
Der Text auf dem hell-lila farbenen Banner ist ebenfalls von Stampcorner. Ich habe ihn mit weißem Embossinpulver aufembosst und den Streifen auf die Karte geklebt.
Mit hochpigmentierter goldener Aquarellfarbe habe ich dann noch kleine Spritzer über die Karte verteilt - den goldenen Streifen habe ich dabei abgedeckt. Dann kamen noch ein paar kleine lilafarbene Pailetten und weiße Halbperlen auf die Karte.
I've cut the white cardstock apart with an angle and then filled the gap with a strip of golden mirror cardstock. They are both on the same level. Before glueing them together I've golden heat embossed this amazing mandala onto the white carstock and white onto the golden mirror cardstock. When putting them together I made sure the lines all meet again at the right point.
The love, that I've glued onto the card, is made using a die by MFT. First I had only cut it from light purple cardstock. But I was missing some contrast. So I've die cut it again from cardstock in a darker purple and glued it slightly off on top of the lighter one.
The saying on the light purple strip means "because I like you" and is white heat embossed.
Using a high pigment watercolor I've spritzed some dots across the card, covering the golden strip while adding the color. Then I've also added a few small purple sequins and white half pearls to the card.
Und weil ich mir nicht sicher war, ob der Glanz des Spiegelcardstocks auf den anderen Bildern gut rüberkommt, habe ich hier noch ein schräg aufgenommenes Bild. Und da das Bild schon mal gemacht ist... ;)
I wasn't sure if the shine of the mirror cardstock really shows on the other pictures I've taken one from an angle. And since it was taken... ;)
