Vor kurzem habe ich Euch ja eine Muttertags-Karte gezeigt. Und weil sich die Männer hier ja nicht benachteiligt fühlen sollen, habe ich heute eine Vatertags-Karte für Euch.

A little ago I've shared a mother's day card. And since I don't want the men out there feel bad I've made a father's day card to share with you today.
Hier habe ich wieder die Stitched Rectangles von JM Creation für die einzelnen Lagen Cardstock verwendet. Sie sind endlich mal auf deutsche Kartenmaße ausgelegt! Ich habe damit Rechtecke aus weißem und schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt, aufeinander gesetzt und dann auf eine weiße Karte geklebt.

Für den Text habe ich einen der Stempel aus dem Stempelset Kombitexte für Textstanzen verwendet und ihn so abgestempelt, dass zwischen Alles und Liebe zum genug Platz war, um das V des ausgestanzten Wortes Vatertag hineinzuschieben.
Here I've used the Stitched Rectangles by JM Creation again to cut the different layer of cardstock. I have several sets by other brands but these are the first ones that match the german card sizes which are different from the US ones. I've die cut a white and a black rectangle, stacked them and then glued them onto a white note card.
You can read a bit more about the image a bit further down in this post. The saying means "happy father's day". It's said a bit different in german, so I've stamped the words leaving a gap between two of them to put in the V of a die cut Vatertag, which mean's father's day.
Das Motiv hier finde ich klasse. Hier in Bayern ist es am Vatertag üblich, dass die Männer mit Freunden um die Häuser ziehen. Der Coloration nach zu urteilen könnten die beiden auf meiner Karte auch Vater und Sohn sein - das ist jetzt jedem selbst überlassen. Aber das mit dem Bier in der Hand machen sie schon richtig... ;)
Der Stempel hat eine super Größe. Er ist groß genug, um die Karte zu füllen, aber gleichzeitig ist noch genug Platz für einen Text.
Ich habe das Motiv direkt auf den weißen Cardstock gestempelt, mit Copics coloriert und die beiden in Gras gestellt. Sie konnten ja schlecht in der Luft schweben.
I just love this image. Here in Bavaria it's a tradition that the men meet up with their friends on father's day and celebrate together, lots of drinking included. Whe you look at my coloring this could also be father and son - that's up to you. But the two do it right with the beers in their hands. ;)
This stamp has a great size. It's big enough to fill the card but there's still enough room for a saying.
I've stamped the image directly onto the white cardstock, colored it with Copics and added some grass under their feet since they can't just float in the air.
