Es ist schon August - und bevor ich meinen neuen Vorsatz, jeden Monat mindestens einmal ein altes Stempelset zu verwenden, gleich im zweiten Monat breche, zeige ich heute auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog diese Karte, bei der ich das Space Explorer Stempelset von MFT benutzt habe.

It's august already - and before I break my new challenge to use an older stamp set at least once a month right in the second month I am sharing this card over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog today, for which I've used the Space Explorer stamp set by MFT.
Wie Ihr bereits sehen könnt, ist auch dies mal wieder eine interaktive Karte. Die Grundidee der Technik stammt aus einem Video von Jennifer McGuire, ich habe sie ein wenig abgewandelt.
As you can see once again I've made an interactive card. The technique idea is by Jennifer McGuire, I've just altered it a bit.
Für den Weltall-Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück schwarzen Cardstock genommen und mit Distress Oxide Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire und Black Soot den Kosmos darauf gewischt. Dabei habe ich das schwarze Kissen nur benutzt, um den Übergang auf den eh schon schwarzen Cardstock sanfter zu gestalten.
Mit silberner Aquarellfarbe und dem Splatter Brush von Tim Holtz habe ich dann die Sterne aufgespritzt.
Außerdem habe ich hier vier weitere Planeten, wie alle Stempel, die ich für diese Karte verwendet habe, aus dem Space Explorer Stempelset aufgeklebt.
For the space background I've used Distress Oxide Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot onto a piece of black cardstock. The black ink I've only used to make the edges blend better with the black cardstock.
Then I've added the stars by spritzing some silver watercolor paint onto the background using the Splatter Brush by Tim Holtz.
I've also added a few additional planets here - those and all the other stamps I've used for this card are from the Space Explorer stamp set.
Oben mittig auf der Karte befindet sich der Mond, darumherum dreht eine Rakete ihre Kreise in der Umlaufbahn. Die genaue Technik kann ich Euch hier nicht erklären.
Hinten an der Rakete habe ich noch einen Feuerschweif angebracht. Dafür habe ich aus einer der Feuerstanzen aus dem Fireplace Stanzenset von MFT ein passendes Stück abgeschnitten, es ebenfalls mit Copics coloriert und hinten an die Rakete geklebt.
In the top middle there's the moon, around it a rocket is doing it turns in orbit. I really can't explain the technique for this motion here now.
To the rear of the rocket I've added some fire. Therefor I've die cut one of the fire dies from the Fireplace die set by MFT, cut off a matching piece, colored it with Copics and glued it to the rear end of the rocket.
Und natürlich durften ein Astronaut sowie ein Text nicht fehlen!
Der Astronaut ist, wie alle Motive, mit Copics coloriert, ausgeschnitten und mit 3D Tape auf die Karte geklebt. Mit einem weißen Gelmarker habe ich die obligatorische "Schnur" angebracht und quer durchs All gemalt. Ich bin mir immer nicht sicher, ob das der "Rückholfaden" für den Notfall ist oder ob die Astronauten während ihres Spaziergangs im All darüber mit allen lebenswichtigen Dingen wie Sauerstoff versorgt werden.
Den Text habe ich einfach mit weißem Embossingpulver auf einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstock embosst, unter dem Astronauten angebracht und quer über die Karte geklebt.
And of course an astronaut and a saying had to be added to this card!
The astronaut, as are all the images on this card, is colored with Copics, cut out and glued onto the background with dimensionals. With a white gel marker I've added the "string" to his belly and drew it across the space. I never know if this is the string to pull him back in in the case of an emergency or if they get vital things like oxygen through it during their walk in space.
The saying was white heat embossed onto a strip of black cardstock, attached to the back of the astronaut and glued across the card.
