Hinter Türchen Nr. 18 des Stampcorner Adventskalenders versteckt sich dieser geniale Spruch, mit dem ich Euch heute eine Inspiration zeigen darf. Und der schrie nach einem verrückten Motiv.
Behind shutter no 18 of the Stampcorner advent calendar was this text stamp. It means "it's already too late to become reasonable" and I'm sharing a card as inspiration with you today. I thought this text screamed for a crazy image.
Ich habe hier den Number Jumble Background von MFT mit weißem Embossingpulver auf einen Teil eines Stück hellblauen Cardstocks embosst. Den habe ich schwarze gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. Oben rechts in der Ecke habe ich noch zwei Stücke silbernes Washi Tape, einmal mit Punkten, einmal glitzernd, aufgeklebt, das ich zu kleinen Fähnchen geschnitten habe.
Here I've white heat embossed the Number Jumble Background by MFT onto part of a piece of light blue cardstock. Then I've matted it black and glued it onto a white note card. To the top right corner I've also added two pieces of silver Washi tape, one with white dots, one with glitter, that I've cut into little banners.
Den Text habe ich ebenfalls mit weißem Embossingpulver auf blauen Cardstock embosst, in drei Stücke geschnitten und mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Und das Motiv ist doch einfach super passend dazu? Es ist die Oddball Snow Queen von Stamping Bella. Ich habe ihr aber die Schneeflocke, die sie auf der Hand balanciert, weggenommen und durch einen per Hand gezeichneten Cupcake mit Riesen-Sahnehaube ersetzt. Und so steht da nun die Geburtstags-Queen, die sich zur Feier des Tages in ihren blauen Glitzerfummel mit Pelzrand geworfen und das Geburtstagskrönchen aufgesetzt hat. Man wird nunmal nur einmal 70! Und in dem Alter muss man wirklich nicht mehr vernünftig werden! Das Motiv ist mit Copics und den Spica Pens so coloriert, dass es aussieht wie mit blauen Pailetten überzogen.
Aus dunkelblauem Glitzercardstock habe ich noch eine 70 ausgestanzt, weiß hinterlegt und über den Spruch auf die Karte geklebt, ebenfalls mit 3D Tape.
Rund um das Motiv habe ich dann noch ein paar silberne Pailetten aufgeklebt.
I've also white heat embossed the saying onto blue cardstock, cut it into three pieces and then glued it onto those onto the background with dimensionals. The image is just perfect with the saying, right? It's the Oddball Snow Queen image by Stamping Bella. I've removed the snowflake she's balancing on her hand and replaced it with a hand drawn cupcake with a giant pile of cream on top. And so there's the birthday queen, that is wearing her blue glitter dress with a fur brim and the birthday crown. Well, you only turn 70 once! And at that age you really don't have to become reasonable anymore. I've colored the image with Copics and the Spica pens and made it look like it's covered with glittering sequins.
From dark blue glitter cardstock I've die cut a 70, matted it white and glued it above the saying, also using dimensionals.
Around the image I've also added a few silver sequins.
