Nun, dem kleinen Hasen auf meiner Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog zeige, geht es genauso. Wobei er offenbar zwischendurch ein wenig müde geworden ist. Kein Problem, die Möwe passt auf ihn auf...

Are you such an ocean lover as me? I love to sit at the beach all day long, just watching the waves and the sun glistening on the water. Well, seems like the little bunny on my card, that I'm sharing over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog today, is the same. But apparently he got a little tired and fell asleep. Don't worry, his friend the dove is watching over him.
Hier handelt es sich um eine interaktive Karte, wie Euch sicher schon beim Anblick der Stangen gedacht habt. Aber dazu gleich mehr.
Ich habe ein Stück hellblauen Cardstock genommen und mit der Falling from the Clouds Stanze den Ausschnitt gestanzt.
In den unteren Bereich habe ich den Scallop Stripe Background mit dem Sno Cone Stempelkissen von MFT als Wellen aufgestempelt. Er ist nur ganz leicht zu sehen, aber ich wollte die Wellen im Fenster fortlaufen lassen.
Der Text auf der Karte ist aus dem Stempelset Sunshine and Friendship und mit weißem Embossingpulver auf schwarzen Carstock embosst. Ich habe ihn auf zweimal gestempelt, so dass ich zwei Banner mit Text hatte, die ich dann oben bzw. unten auf die Karte geklebt habe.
This is an interactive card, but I think you already guessed that when seeing the two paper straws. More about that a little later.
I used a piece of very light blue cardstock and die cut the Falling from the Clouds die from it.
In the lower area of the cardstock I stamped the Scallop Stripe Background as waves, using the Sno Cone ink pad by MFT. They are very subtle but I wanted to somehow continue the waves inside the window on the front of the card.
The text on this card is from the Sunshine and Friendship stamp set. I stamped it divided into two parts and white heat embossed it. Then I glued the strips to the top and bottom of the card.
Ich wollte die Wolke im Ausschnitt weiß haben, darum habe ich die Ausschnittstanze einfach nochmal um 180 Grad gedreht in den Ausschnitt gelegt und erneut durch die Big Shot gekurbelt. So hatte ich ein passendes Rechteck. Dann habe ich die Stanze noch einmal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und den Teil mit der Wolke von hinten gegen das Fenster geklebt.
Für die Wellen habe ich wieder den Scallop Stripe Background benutzt. Diesmal habe ich ihn weiß auf türkis-grauen Cardstock embosst und oberhalb der embossten Linien ausgeschnitten. Dabei habe ich zwei Teile geschnitten und einmal über der durchgehenden und einmal der gepunkteten Linie geschnitten. Die beiden Wellenteile habe ich dann mit 3D Tape aufeinander geklebt.
Zwischen die Wellen habe ich den süßen Hasen in seinem Boot aus dem Stempelset You Keep me Afloat gesetzt. Den habe ich mit Copics coloriert und auf das Fähnchen am Heck des Bootes noch die Möwe aus dem selben Stempelset gesetzt. Dann habe ich das Motiv ausgeschnitten. Da es frei im Ausschnitt schwebt, habe ich die Stange der Fahne mit einem kleinen Streifen Folie verstärkt.
I wanted the cloud in the window to be white, so I put the die back in place turned around 180 degrees and run that through my Big Shot again. Now I had a perfectly rectangle the size I needed it. Then I die cut the background again from white cardstock and glued the part with the cloud behind the top of the window.
For the clouds I used the Scallop Stripe Background again. This time I white heat embossed it onto some greyish turquoise cardstock and cut it out a little above the embossed lines. I've cut two pieces, cutting above the solid lines on the one and above the dotted lines on the other one. Then I stacked those with foam tape.
Between the waves I've put the cute bunny in his boat from the You Keep me Afloat stamp set. I colored him with Copics and added the little dove from the same stamp set on top of the flag at the end of the boat. Since the image isn't fully glued down and there's quite some space to the sky background I used a thin strip of acetate to make the flag pole a little sturdier.

Der kleine Hase war von der Meeresluft so müde, dass er sogar den Sonnenuntergang verschlafen hat und nun unter dem Sternenhimmel liegt...
Erstmal muss ich mich für meine schwarzen Finger entschuldigen. Ich habe die Papierstrohhalme, die ich für den Mechanismus verwendet habe, mit Copics schwarz eingefärbt und das hat beim Drehen der Karte abgefärbt...
Der Mechanismus besteht aus den beiden Strohhalme, die ich rechts und links auf dem schwarzen Cardstock, mit dem ich die Szene gemattet habe, fixiert habe. Daran habe ich einen langen Streifen Kopierpapier befestigt. Den habe ich mit Distress Oxides gewischt. Ich habe Squeezed Lemonade und Scattered Straw für die Sonne und deren Schein benutzt und dann den Himmel mit Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire und Black Soot gewischt. Die Sterne sind mit Wasser sowie weißer Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. Anfangs ist der Himmelstreifen komplett am oberen Strohhalm aufgewickelt, dreht man dann am unteren Strohhalm, wandert er hinter der Szene vorbei und wird um den unteren Strohhalm gewickelt. Und so wird aus einem Tages- ein Nachthimmel. Oh, und das ganze geht natürlich genauso gut andersherum, so dass der Hase auf dem Meer den Sonnenaufgang verschläft.
The little bunny got so tired from the salty air that he even missed the sunset and is now sleeping under the starry sky.
First I have to excuse myself for those black fingers in the video. I colored the paper straws, that I used for the mechanism, with black Copics and the color didn't stick so my fingers got inky when I turned them...
The mechanism is made from two paper straws, that I fixed on the left and right on the black cardstock that I used to mat the scene. I taped a long strip of copy paper between those straws. Before I inked this strip up with Distress Oxide, using Squeezed Lemonade and Scattered Straw for the sun and halo. The sky is made with Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. For the stars I sprinkled some water and some white acrylic paint onto the sky. At first, this strip of copy paper is wrapped completly around the upper straw. When you turn the lower one, the sky moves downwards behind the scene. And so the day sky turns into a night sky. Oh, and of course this also works the other way around, so the bunny is missing the sunrise.
