Stampcorner is having a special advent calendar this year: each day you get another A7 sized stamp free with your order. It's a brand new design, that will be available for sale once its designated day is over. And we from the DT made a sample for each day. Today it's this cute snow bunny image.
Lila ist ja eigentlich nicht meins, aber irgendwie sah der Hase so aus, als würde ihm lila gut stehen. Also habe ich für den Hintergrund ein Stück weißen Cardstock mit Distress Oxide Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet und dem neuen Villainous Potion gewischt und etwas Wasser sowie weiße Acrylfarbe darauf gespritzt.
Dann habe ich durch die Snowflake Background Stencil von LawnFawn etwas weiße Stempelfarbe auf den Hintergrund gewischt, allerdings nur am Rand des Cardstocks. Ich hatte die Oxides zwar vorher geföhnt, sie waren aber offenbar doch noch nicht ganz trocken, so dass die Schneeflocken lilafarben geworden sind. Aber so passen sie für einen Hintergrund besser, finde ich, da sie nicht zu sehr im Vordergrund stehen.
Purple isn't my farvorite color, but this bunny looked like purple would suit him. So I inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet and the new Villainous Potion to create my background. Then I spritzed some water and some white acrylic paint over it.
I used the Snowflake Background stencil by LawnFawn and some white ink to add the snowflakes just to the edges of my background. I had heat set the Oxide ink before applying the snowflakes, but it seems like it still wasn't completly dry so the snowflakes got a purple tone as well. But I actually like it for a background since they are more subtle.
Der Text ist mit der Giant Let it Snow Stanze von LawnFawn gemacht. Ich habe ihn einmal aus dunkel-lilafarbenem Glitzercardstock und einmal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und beide Teile leicht versetzt aufeinander geklebt. Auf den weißen Text habe ich dann silberfarbene Stickles als Highlights gesetzt. Auf den Hintergrund ist der Text mit 3D Tape geklebt.
Der süße Hase ist mit Copics coloriert - ich habe seinen Schal lilafarben coloriert und sogar ein helles Lila für das Innere der Ohren und die Backen benutzt. Die Highlights sind mit einem weißen Gelpen gemacht.
Damit der Hase nicht in der Luft schwebt, habe ich noch ein kleines Oval, gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock, unter/hinter seinen Füßen angebracht.
Zum Schluss habe ich ein paar klare Glitzersteine auf der Karte verteilt.
The text is made with the Giant Let it Snow die by LawnFawn. I've die cut it once from dark purple glitter cardstock and once from white cardstock and then glued both on top of each other, offsetting them slightly. Onto the white text I added some highlights with silver Stickles and then glued the text onto the background with foam tape.
The cute bunny is colored with Copics - I colored his scarf purple and even used a light purple for his inner ears and his cheeks. The highlights are added with a white gel pen.
Since the bunny shouldn't float in the sky I've die cut a small oval from white cardstock and glued it under/behind the bunny..
In the end I added a few clear rhinestones to my card.
