In der Create a Smile FB Gruppe gibt es dieses Wochenende ein "gemeinsam kreativ". Das ist wie eine kleine Challenge, einfach zum Spaß und als Anregung zum Kreativsein. Thema ist "Nimm 2" - ein wenig wie ein Bingo, nur dass es nur 6 Auswahlmöglichkeiten gibt, aus denen man 2 wählt. Und das sind sie:

In the Create a Smile FB group there's a "create together" event this weekend. It's like a challenge, just for fun and maybe as a little help to get you started on a card. There's a "pick 2" chart - a bit like a Bingo chart, but there are only 6 themes from which you pick 2. And here they are:
Ich habe mich für "schwarz, weiß +1" sowie "Aquarell" entschieden.
Nun ist es, dass ich heute morgen um 5.30 schon auf war und - schweren Herzens - den Weihnachtsbaum sowie die Weihnachtsdeko verräumt habe. Damit war ich bis halb 12 beschäftigt, dann noch Duschen und das Bad putzen... Zeit ist also ein wenig knapp, noch dazu, wo ja doch noch Tageslicht zum Fotografieren da sein sollte.
Auf meinem Schreibtisch lag noch ein übriger fertiger Hintergrund - bei so Streifenhintergründen erhält man ja durch die sich abwechselnde Farbe der Streifen immer zwei. Ich habe also ein klein wenig gecheatet... Aber der Rest ist "ganz frisch" vom Tisch gehüpft.
Auf den Hintergrund, den ich mit der Simple Stripes Diagonal Stanze von LawnFawn gemacht habe, wodurch meine Karte auch ein im amerikanischen A2-Format ist, silberfarbene Metallic Watercolor gespritzt.

Well, I woke up at 5.30 am and - with a heavy heart - put away the christmas tree and decorations. I was busy with this until nearly noon, then took a shower, cleaned the bathroom... So I am a bit short on crafty time today, the more since I always need daylight to take pictures of my cards.
There was this finished background as a left over on my table - when making these striped backgrounds you always end up with two due to the interchanging colors of the stripes. So I did a tiny bit of cheating. But all the rest I just "freshly" did just today.
Over the background, that I cut using the Simple Stripes Diagonal die by LawnFawn and that's why my card has the american A2 size, I spritzed some silver metallic watercolor.
Die Motive auf meiner Karte sind aus dem Stempelset Ticket to my Heart. Ich habe sie mit schwarzer Tinte auf Watercolor Cardstock gestempelt und dann mit ZIG Markern coloriert. Wobei coloriert hier fast ein wenig übertrieben ist - die Coloration ist doch eher rudimentär. Aber der Look gefällt mir hier und passt, finde ich. Das Wort Ticket habe ich beim Stempeln mit der schwarzen Tinte ausgespart und es nach dem Trocknen mit roter Tinte aufgestempelt.
Auf die Herzen auf den Tickets und der Filmrolle habe ich Glossy Accents aufgetragen, die Highlights sind mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht.
Hinter die Motive habe ich Strahlen, gestanzt mit der Focal Stanze von Create a Smile aus rotem Glitter-Cardstock - aufgeklebt.
Der Text ist aus dem Stempelset Programm und weiß auf roten Cardstock embosst. Dann habe ich ihn mit einer der Useful Banners Stanzen ausgestanzt.
The images on my card are from the Ticket to my Heart stamp set. I stamped them with black ink onto watercolor cardstock and then used my ZIG markers to color them in. Well, to call this coloring may be a bit too much, I really did it kind of splotchy, but on purpose. I really like the look of it on this card. The word ticket I left out when stamping the images and after the watercolor had dried I stamped it on with some red ink.
I applied some Glossy Accents to the hearts on the film roll and the tickets, for the highlights I used a white gel pen.
Behind the images I attached some rays onto the background, die cut from red glitter cardstock with the Focal die by Create a Smile.
The text is white heat embossed onto red cardstock, then cut it out using one of the Useful Banners dies.
Ich habe die Motive mit 3D Tape aufeinander und auf den Hintergrund geklebt, dann habe ich einige rote Perlen drumherum verteilt.
Zum Schluss habe ich alles noch auf eine weiße Karte geklebt - äh, gelegt. Zum Zuschneiden und Festkleben war erstmal keine Zeit, das hole ich später nach. Deswegen ist da auch dieser Abstand am unteren Rand der Karte - der Cardstock lag nicht ganz flach.
I used foam tape to adhere the images on top of each other and onto the background, then added a few red pearls to the card.
To finish it, I glued it onto a white note card - well, laid it down. I didn't have time to cut an A2 sized card and glue the card together, I will do that a little later. That's why there's that gap at the bottom of the card on the photo - the cardstock wasn't really laying flat.
