Heute habe ich ein letztes Sneak auf das März-Release von Stampcorner für Euch - der 1. März und somit das Release-Datum sind ja schon ganz nah!

Today I have one last sneak of the march release by Stampcorner for you - march 1st and the release day are pretty close already!
Hier habe ich eine Geburtstagskarte mit dem süßen Hasen mit Ballon gemacht. Und damit die Karte auch Partystimmung verbreitet, habe ich neben vielen Luftballons auch noch Sternkonfetti in einer Flat Shaker Card eingebaut.
Here I made a birthday card using the cute bunny with balloon. And to add the right touch of a party mood, I did not only create a balloon background but also turned the card into a flat shaker card filled with lots of star confetti.
Beim Hintergrund muss ich ein wenig ausholen: es gibt von SimonSaysStamp ganz neu einen Hintergrundstempel mit vielen großen Luftballons. Nun, den Stempel habe ich nicht und so toll er auch ist, die Versandkosten aus den USA und die Wartezeit sind mir zu hoch/lang. Also habe ich überlegt, wie ich einen ähnlichen Look kreieren könnte. Einen Luftballonstempel in der Größe habe ich nicht. Aber dann ist mir der Balloons Stencil von MFT eingefallen. Also habe ich die Linien eines der Ballons mit einem Embossingstift auf ein Stück Watercolor Cardstock übertragen und weiß embosst. Dann habe ich die Stencil versetzt und den Vorgang wiederholt - so oft, bis der komplette Ccardstock mit Ballons gefüllt war. Die Linien sind nicht so fein wie bei einem Stempel, aber das macht mir nichts.
Anschließend habe ich die Ballons mit ZIG Markern in türkis, hellblau, etwas kräftiger blau und grün coloriert und dabei jeweils beide Farben an den Stellen, an denen die Luftballons überlappen, zum Colorieren verwendet. So sind die Ballons hier in einer Zwischenfarbe und es sieht so aus, als würde man den hinteren Ballon durch den vorderen hindurchsehen.
Nachdem die Farbe getrocknet war, habe ich wieder mit einem Embossingstift frei Hand die Schnüre aufgemalt und ebenfalls weiß embosst. Außerdem habe ich silberfarbene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritz.
Wie schon erwähnt, habe ich aus dem Hintergrund dann einen Flat Shaker gemacht und ihn mit silbernen Sternen in zwei verschiedenen Größen gefüllt.
For the background I had to get creative. There is this brandnew background stamp by SimonSaysStamp with lots of large balloons. Well, I don't have this stamp and as great as it is, shipping costs from the US and the time until it gets here are too much/long. So I thought about how I could create a similar look. I don't own a balloon stamp that large. But then I remembered, that I have the Balloons stencil by MFT. So I traced the edge of one of the balloons with an embossing pen onto some watercolor cardstock and white heat embossed the lines. Then I moved the stencil and did the same until all my cardstock was filled. My lines aren't as thin as they would be stamped, but I don't care.
Then I used my ZIG markers to color the balloons turquoise, light blue, bright blue and green, using both colors in the areas where the balloons overlap. These areas now have a mix of both colors in that section and it looks, like you can see the balloon in the back through the front one.
After the color had dried, I used my embossing pen and white embossing powder again to add the balloon strings free hand. I also flicked some silver metallic watercolor onto the cardstock.
As mentioned already, I created a flat shaker from this background, filling it with silver star confetti in two different sizes.
Den Text habe ich mit der Happy Birthday To You Stanze von MFT aus grünem Cardstock gestanzt. Dann habe ich die Buchstaben von unten her etwas mit Distress Ink Mowed Lawn gewischt und auf weißen Cardstock geklebt. Eigentlich ist der Text linksbündig geschrieben - ich habe beim Aufkleben die einzelnen Zeilen so verschoben, dass der Text zentriert ist.
Mit einer Schere habe ich den weißen Cardstock rund um die Buchstaben ausgeschnitten, so dass eine Schattenlage entstanden ist, dann habe ich ihn mit dünnem 3D Tape auf die Folie des Shakers geklebt.
I used the Happy Birthday To You die by MFT to die cut the text from green cardstock. Then I inked up the letters from the bottom with Distress Ink Mowed Lawn and adhered them to a piece of white cardstock. Oringinally the text is designed with the text being left-aligned. When glueding the lines down I changed their position so they are centered now.
Using my scissors I cut the white cardstock along the die cut letters, creating a shadow layer. Then I attached it to the card with thin foam tape.
Den süßen Hasen habe ich mit Copics coloriert. Den Ballon habe ich hellblau coloriert und mit einem hellgrünen Marker die dahinterliegenden Buchstaben des Textes angedeutet. So ist der komplette Text gut lesbar und gleichzeitig wirkt der Luftballon leicht transparent.
Auch den Hasen habe ich mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt, hinter seine Füße habe ich noch ein schwarzes Oval, gemacht mit einer der Oval Shadows Stanzen von MFT, als Boden geklebt.
I colored the cute bunny with Copics. I used a light blue for the balloon and then a light green marker to draw in the letters that will be covered by the balloon. Now the text is easy to read and at the same time the balloon seems semi-transparent.
I used foam tape again to attach the bunny to the card and added a black oval, cut with one of the Oval Shadows by MFT, as the ground behind his feet.
Den kompletten Flat Shaker habe ich dann mit 3D Tape auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt - ich finde, mit 3D Tape darunter bewegen sich die Shakerteile besser, als wenn der Shaker komplett und direkt auf die Karte geklebt wird.
Ganz zum Schluss habe ich als Deko noch ein paar schwarze Pailetten um den Text herum aufgeklebt.
I attached the whole shaker to a white card base using foam tape - I have the feeling, that the shaker pieces move better when the shaker is adhered with foam tape instead of being glued directly and completly to the card.
To finish the card, I added a few black sequins around the text.
