Auf der Karte, die ich Euch heute zeige, habe ich einen weiteren meiner Mekka-Käufe eingeweiht: das Stempelset Toasty Friends von MamaElephant. Entstanden ist damit eine kuschelige Karte.

On the card I am sharing with you today I have used another of my purges from when I was at Stempel-Mekka: the Toasty Friends stamp set by MamaElephant. I made this cozy card with it.
Hier habe ich ein Wohnzimmer angedeutet, in dem Mama Huhn mit ihren Küken sich am Kamin wärmt. Das Zimmer habe ich aber nicht über die komplette Karte gezogen. Mit Masking Tape habe ich etwa die untere Hälfte eines Stücks weißen Cardstocks abgedeckt und dann den oberen erst ganz leicht mit Distress Oxide Pumice Stone gewischt. Dabei habe ich die Farbe zu den Rändern hin auslaufen lassen. Dann habe ich den Knitted Stencil von Create a Smile aufgelegt und, diesmal etwas kräftiger, wieder mit Pumice Stone aufgewischt. So entsteht das Tapetenmuster. Auch das habe ich am Rand des Cardstocks schwächer aufgewischt.
Anschließend habe ich den oberen Teil des Cardstocks mit Masking Tape abgedeckt und den unteren Teil etwa halb mit Walnut Stain gewischt. Mit der Kante des Lost Shadow Kissens habe ich noch eine Art Holzmuster auf die dunkelbraune Farbe gedrückt.
Here I created a living room, where mama hen and her chickens have snuggled up at the fireplace. I didn't create a whole room over the whole cardstock, just kind of indicating it. Using masking tape I covered about the bottom half of a piece of white cardstock and then very lightly inked the upper half with Distress Oxide Pumice Stone. I let the color fade towards the edges of the cardstock. Then I put the Knitted stencil by Create a Smile on top and added more of the Pumice Stone to create a wallpaper. Again I put down less ink towards the edges of the cardstock.
Then I moved the masking tape and covered the top half and inked about half of the still white area with Walnut Stain. Using the edge of the Lost Shadow ink pad I added some lines to create some kind of wood pattern to the dark brown ground.
Die Motive habe ich alle auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Dabei habe ich den Kamin zweimal gestempelt - einmal habe ich nur das Innere samt Feuer coloriert, einmal den Rest des Kamins. Dann habe ich aus dem ganzen Kamin den Innenteil herausgeschnitten und mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Teil mit dem colorierten Feuer geklebt. So entsteht eine schöne Tiefe. Das Küken, das einen Marshmallow röstet, ist eigentlich aus dem Set Egg-Tastic und bemalt mit einem Pinsel ein Osterei. Ich habe nur das Küken gestempelt und ihm dann den aufgespießten Marshmallow, den eigentlich ein Hund im Set Toasty Friends hält, in den Flügel gegeben. Und weil mir der Teppich im Set zu kurz war - schließlich sollten alle warme Füße haben - habe ich ihn verlängert. Dazu habe ich einmal die linke und einmal die rechte Kante abgedeckt und die beiden Teile aneinander gestempelt.
Für den Text habe ich das Stempelset Autumn Blessings von MFT benutzt. Eigentlich ist er zweizeilig, ich habe den Stempel zerschnitten und konnte ihn so einzeilig unter der Szene mit schwarzer Tinte direkt unten auf den gewischten Boden stempeln.
Als Deko habe ich noch drei rot-braune Enemal Dots aufgeklebt.
I stamped all images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics and cut them out. I stamped the fireplace twice, then colored only the inner part with the fire and on the other image the rest of the fireplace. I cut out the inner part from the wholely colored image and attached it with thin foam tape onto the colored fire to create some depth.
The chicken, that's roasting a marshmallow, is from the Egg-Tastic stamp set and originally holding a brush, coloring an easter egg. I only stamped the chicken and then gave him the marshmallow on the stick, that a dog from the Toasty Friends stamp set is holding, into his wing. And since the carpet included in the set was too short for my taste - of course I wanted all of the images to have warm feet - I made it longer. I covered the left edge, stamped the image, then covered the right edge and stamped the rest directly next to the first stamped carpet.
For the text I brought out the Autumn Blessings set by MFT. It's a two line text so I cut the stamp apart and this way was able to stamp it in one line directly under the scene onto the brown inked floor.
To decorate the card I added three reddish-brown Enamel Dots.
Da ich ja schon den Kamin mit 3D Tape zusammengesetzt habe, habe ich auch für die restlichen Motive dünnes bzw. dickes 3D Tape benutzt.
Dann habe ich den Cardstock dunkelbraun gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
Since I already used foam tape to put the fireplace together, I also used thin and thick one to attach the rest of the images.
Then I matted the cardstock dark brown and adhere everything to a white note card.
