Für diese Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeige, habe ich endlich das zweite Stempelset aus dem Januar-Release eingeweiht. Geplant war die Karte eigentlich als Geburtstagskarte, aber wenn ich sie so fertig betrachte, finde ich, sie wäre auch als Valentinstagskarte perfekt.

For this card, that I'm sharing over on the Stampcorner Blog today, I finally inked up a stamp from the other stamp set from the january release. I had planned to make this a birthday card, but when I look at it now that it's finished, I think, it will also make a great valentine's card.
Die Karte besteht aus zwei Lagen Cardstock - ein schwarze Lage im Hintergrund und eine rote Lage darauf mit ausgestanztem Fenster. Den roten Cardstock habe ich von der unteren Ecke her mit dunkelroter Tinte sowie ein wenig Distress Ink Black Soot gewischt.
Nicht ganz zentriert habe ich daraus ein Quadrat gestanzt.
The card is made from two layers of cardstock - a black layer in the background and a red one on top, from which I've cut a window. I inked the red cardstock from the bottom right up with some dark red ink and a bit of Distress Ink Black Soot.
Not exactly centered I've die cut a square from this card layer.
Oben an den Rand des Rahmens habe ich von hinten eine Herzbordüre mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Die Bordüre ist aus grauem Cardstock mit der Little Heart Strings Border Stanze von LawnFawn gemacht. Die kleinen Herzen darauf habe ich aus rotem und rosafarbenem Cardstock gestanzt.
Den süßen Bären aus dem Set Geschenke habe ich mit Copics coloriert. Die Luftballons sind aus dem Fauli Stempelset und ich habe sie mit Masking hinter das Geschenk gesetzt. Mit einem weißen Gelstift habe ich Highlights gesetzt und das Motiv per Hand ausgeschnitten.
Hinter dem Motiv befindet sich ein großes XOXO, gestanzt aus Vellum mit der Giant XOXO Stanze von LawnFawn. Ehrlich gesagt lag das Stanzteil etwa 3 Monate auf meinem Schreibtisch und hier passte es endlich.... Ich habe das Motiv darauf geklebt und hinter dem Motiv dann dickes 3D Tape gesetzt.
Auf den schwarzen Cardstock im Hintergrund habe ich etwas Copic Opaque White aufgespritzt.
Bevor ich die Lagen zusammengeklebt habe, habe ich noch den Text mit weißem Embossingpulver auf den roten Cardstock embosst. Der ist ebenfalls im Stempelset Geschenke enthalten, ich habe ihn nur etwas aufgeteilt. Oben am Rand habe ich den "Achtung, hier kommen"-Teil aufembosst. Unterhalb des Motives - und mit den Schleifen des H und K sogar in das Motiv hinein - habe ich dann den Rest aufembosst.
Dann habe ich den roten Cardstock mit dickem 3D Tape auf den schwarzen Cardstock geklebt - hinter der Herzbordüre befindet sich dünnes 3D Tape, da diese Lage ja bereits einmal mit dünnem 3D Tape hinter dem Fenster befestigt ist.
Und weil ich von der Bordüre noch drei kleine Herzen übrig hatte, habe ich die als Deko unten an den Text gesetzt.
I used some thing foam tape to attach a heart border behind the top edge of the window. I used the Little Heart Strings Border die by LawnFawn to cut the border from grey cardstock and die cut the little hearts from red and pink cardstock.
To color the cute bear from the Geschenke stamp set in I used my Copics. The balloons are from the Fauli stamp set and I did some masking to stamp them behind the present. I added a few highlights with a white gel pen and cut the image out with my scissors.
Behind the image I place a large XOXO, die cut from vellum with the Giant XOXO die by LawnFawn. To be honest with you, this die cut has been sitting on my desk since about three months and now it finally fit onto a card... I glued the image on top and have hidden some thick foam tape behind the image.
I flicked some Copic Opaque White onto the black cardstock.
Before I put the layers together I added the text, white heat embossing it onto the red cardstock. It means "caution, here come some gifts for you". I embossed part of it above the top left corner of the window cut out, the rest I put under the window, letting the loops of the H and K overlap the image slightly.
I used thick foam tape to adhere the red cardstock onto the black one - behind the heart border I put some thin foam tape because this layer has already been attached behind the window with this thin foam tape.
And since I had three little hearts over from the heart border I used those as decoration next to the text on the bottom.
Zum Schluss habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift noch einen Rahmen um das Fenster herum sowie einen Rahmen komplett entlang des äußeren Rands des roten Cardstocks aufgemalt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
As a last step I used a white gel pen to draw a frame around the cut out window and one completly along the outer edge of the red cardstock. Then I adhered everything to a white note card.
