Ich habe mir ja vorgenommen, öfter mal Karten mit nur einem oder zwei Stempelsets zu machen. Und weil ich für meine Bildergeschichten-Karte von gestern unter anderem auch das All my Heart aus dem letzten Release von LawnFawn herausgeholt hatte und das bisher noch gar nicht benutzt habe, habe ich beschlossen, ein kleines, einfaches Kärtchen nur damit zu machen. Und das ist sie.

I am trying to make a card every now and then on which I only use one or two stamp sets. Since I had pulled out the All my Heart stamp set from the last release by LawnFawn for the card I shared with you yesterday, and since I hadn't used this set yet I've decided, to make a quick and simple card with it. And here it is.
Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks. Mit einer Wolkenstencil und Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina habe ich einige Wolkenreihen aufgewischt, sie aber nicht bis an den Rand des Cardstocks gezogen. Dann habe ich, ebenfalls nur im oberen Bereich des Cardstocks, hellrosafarbene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.
The background I made from a piece of white cardstock that I inked some cloucs onto using a cloud stencil and Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina. I didn't pull the clouds all the way to the side edges of the cardstock but let them end a bit away from it. Then I flicked some light pink metallic watercolor onto the cardstock, again only in the upper area off the cardstock.
Aus schwarzem und rotem Cardstoc habe ich jeweils einmal die Giant XOXO Stanze ausgestanzt und beide Teile leicht versetzt aufeinander geklebt. Die Highlights habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht.
Durch das hintere O fliegt die kleine Maus mit ihrem Luftballon aus dem schon erwähnten All my Heart Stempelset. Ich habe sie mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Den Ballon habe ich außerdem mit Glossy Accents überzogen.
Der Text ist aus dem selben Stempelset. Ich habe das Wort heart mit roter Tinte gestempelt und dann die anderen Textteile mit schwarzer Tinte davor und dahinter gesetzt. Dann habe ich ihn ausgeschnitten - gerade über den schwarzen Textteilen, rund um das größere Wort heart the Stempellinien folgend. Auf eine Mattung des Textes habe ich bewusst verzichtet.
Mit dem Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag Stanzenset habe ich dann noch einige Herzen aus hell-koralle farbenem Cardstock gestanzt, auf der Karte verteilt und mit Stickles ein wenig beglittert.
From red and black cardstock I die cut the Giant XOXO die and glued both pieces on top of each other, moving the red one a bit to the top and right. The highlights I added with a white gel pen.
The little mouse with her heart shaped balloon from said All My Hearts stamp set is flying through the second O. I colored her with Copics and put a layer of Glossy Accents onto the balloon.
The text is from the same stamp set. I stamped the word heart with red ink, then stamped the rest of the text with black ink before and behind it. Then I cut the text out - straight around the black texts, following the stamped lines around the larger word heart. And I also decided, to not add a mat behind the text.
I also die cut some hearts from light coral ink using the Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag die set, attached them to the background and put a bit of Stickles onto them.
Hier sieht man den Glitzer/Schimmer auf der Karte ganz gut. Und auch, dass ich den Text mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt habe.
Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt - für eine Mattung hätte ich zu viel des Hintergrundes wegschneiden müssen, dabei wären die Wolken bis an den Rand herangekommen. Also ist diese Karte wirklich mal ganz schlicht ausgefallen.
Here you can see the glitter/shimmer on the card pretty good - and that I used thin foam tape to adhere the text.
Then I glued the cardstock onto a white note card. To mat the cardstock I would have had to cut off too much and the clouds would have reached the edge of the cardstock. So this card turned out really clean and simple.
