Heute zeige ich Euch die Karte, die ich dieses Jahr für meine Mom zum Muttertag gemacht habe. Sie ist voller Blumen, denn echte Blumen kann ich schlecht durch die Gegend schicken....

Today I am sharing with you the card, I made for my mom for mother's day this year. Since I can't send her real flowers I put them on the card.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstocks mit Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina und Uncharted Mariner gewischt und anschließend ein wenig mit Wasser bespritzt. Nach dem Trocknen habe ich mit der Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Stanze von Altenew das Schnörkelmuster in den Cardstock gestanzt.
Und weil mir das irgendwie immer noch nicht genug war, have ich noch mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Diamond Plaid Layering Coverplates Set von TheTon ein Rautenmuster aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, da es mich ein wenig an ein Rankgitter erinnert. Da es mir aber doch zu viel war, als es den ganzen Hintergrund bedeckt hat, habe ich es an den Rändern in unregelmäßigen Abständen abgeschnitten.
For the background I inked a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina and Uncharted Mariner and then flicked some water onto it. After the cardstock had dried I used the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover die by Altenew to cut the swirly pattern into the cardstock.
And since that still seemed a bit plain I used one of the dies from the Diamond Plaid Layering Coverplate set by TheTon to cut a diamond pattern from white cardstock because it reminds me of a trellis. Well, that seemed a bit too much then so I cut off the edges irregularly.
Den Blumenstrauß habe ich dann mit verschiedenen Blumenstanzen aus Watercolor Cardstock gestanzt. Ich habe die Sets Lovely Layers Anemone, Mum und Wildflowers sowie ein Gänseblümchendie von StudioLight verwendet.
Die Stanzteile habe ich dann jeweils durch Ink Smooshing eingefärbt. Dabei kamen die Distress Ink Farben Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters, Forest Moss, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord und Seedless Preserves zum Einsatz - teilweise habe ich die Töne auch ein wenig gemischt.
Durch das Ink Smooshing wurde der Cardstock ein paar Mal ordentlich nass, wodurch die in den Cardstock geprägten Details teilweise verloren gingen. Also habe ich farblich passende Polychromos verwendet und sie, mehr oder weniger originalgetreu, damit wieder aufgemalt.
The flower bouquet I cut from watercolor cardstock using different flower dies. I combined the Lovely Layers Anemone, Mum and Wildflowers sets and added a few daisies by StudioLight.
I did Ink Smooshing to color the die cuts. I used Distress Ink Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters, Forest Moss, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord and Seedless Preserves and for some layers even mixed the colors a bit.
While doing the ink smooshing the cardstock pieces got really wet several times and I lost most of the detail lines embossed into them. So I used matching Polychromos and drew them in, more or less following the original lines.
Die Blumen und das Rankgitter habe ich dann auf den Hintergrund geklebt und weiße Acrylfarbe über alles gespritzt.
Für den Text habe ich die Worte Alles Liebe ebenfalls aus Watercolor Cardstock gestanzt und wieder durch Ink Smooshing mit Distress Ink Seedless Preserves eingefärbt. Hinter den farbigen Worten befinden sich noch drei Lagen gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock. Da der I-Punkt einfach zu klein zum Ink Smooshen war, habe ich stattdessen ein weißes Herz verwendet.
Der Rest der Texte ist aus den Sets Kleine Worte und Kleine Worte 2 von Stampcorner. Ich habe sie mit Versafine Clair Chianti auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und für das "hab dich lieb" mehere Texte/Textteile kombiniert.
I glued the trellis and flowers onto the background and then splattered some white acrylic paint over all of it.
The text means "lots of love on mother's day, I love you". I die cut part of it from watercolor cardstock and then did some Ink Smooshing with Distress Ink Seedless Preserves to color them in. Behind those inked words I put three layers cut from white cardstock. Since the tittle of the I was simply too small to do ink smooshing I replaced it with a white heart.
The rest of the text I stamped with Versafine Clair Chianti onto white cardstock.
Zum Schluss habe ich noch einige klare Pailetten auf der Karte verteilt und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
To finish the card I added a few clear sequins and then attached the card panel to a white note card.
