Heute zeige ich Euch meine Karte für die LawnFawnatics Challenge #192 "all things birthday". Und da ist so einiges zu entdecken...
Hello everyone!
Today I am sharing with you my card for the LawnFawnatics Challenge #192 "all things birthday". And there's a lot to discover on this card.
LawnFawn wird diesen Monat 15 Jahre alt. Und so haben sich auf meiner Karte ganz viele Tiere aus Stempelsets, die während dieser 15 Jahre erschienen sind, versammelt, um gemeinsam zu gratulieren. Natürlich war es bei weitem nicht möglich, aus jedem Set eines zu verwenden- Himmel, die Karte müsste riesig sein! Aber so ist es eine bunte Mischung geworden.
Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks, den ich mit Distress Oxide Rustic Wilderness, Evergreen Bough, Broken China und Uncharted Mariner gewischt habe. Dann habe ich feine Wassertropfen und weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.
Darüber habe ich dann den Bamboo Forest Backdrop Portrait gesetzt. Ich habe ihn aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert.
LawnFawn is turning 15 this month. And so a lot of animals from all kind of stamp sets, that have been released during those 15 years, gathered on this card to wish them a happy birthday. Of course I wasn't able to use an animal from each set - boy, this card would be ginormous! But at least I used a good mix of animals.
The background is made from a piece of white cardstock, that I inked with Distress Oxide Rustic Wilderness, Evergreen Bough, Broken China and Uncharted Mariner. Then I splattered some fine drops of water and also some white acrylic paint onto it.
On top I put the Bamboo Forest Backdrop Portrait. I cut it from white cardstock and colored it with Copics.
Auf den Bambus-Wald habe ich dann meinen Text geklebt. Der besteht aus dem Giant Make a Wish Text, den ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt habe. Mit einem schwarzen Fineliner habe ich eine Art Rahmen auf jeden Buchstaben gemalt und Highlights mit einem silbernen Glitter-Gelstift aufgemalt.
Quer auf den gestanzten Text habe ich dann zwei weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosste Texte aufgeklebt. Es tut mir echt leid, aber ich habe hier so viele Stempelsets kombiniert, dass ich leider nicht mehr sagen kann, welche genau alles zum Einstaz kamen.... ;)
Oben auf dem Text haben einige Tiere Platz gefunden, die alle in Partylaune sind: ein Tukan, zwei Bienchen, zwei Schmetterlinge, eine Eidechse, eine Spinne und ein Eichhörnchen. Das Eichhörnchen ist übrigens aus dem Set Let's Go Nuts - das allererste LawnFawn-Stempelset, das ich mir gekauft habe. Deswegen musste es mit auf die Karte. Das Eichhörnchen hält einen Tier-Luftballon, der Tukan bläst fröhlich in seinen Luftrüssel. Und alle Tiere tragen natürlich Partyhüte.
Onto the bamboo forest I adhered my text. It's made from white carstock using the Giant Make a Wish die. I used a black fineliner and drew some kind of frame onto each letter, then added highlights with a silver glitter gel pen.
Across the die cut text I adhered two texts that I white heat embossed onto black cardstock. I am really sorry, but I used so many different stamp sets here that I am not able to tell their names anymore...
On top of the die cut text quite some animals found a place to sit, and they are all in a party mood. There's a toucan, two bees, two butterflies, a lizzard, a spider and a squirrel. The squirrel is from Let's Go Nuts, the very first LawnFawn stamp set I bought. That's why it had to go on the card. The squirrel is holding an animal shaped balloon, the toucan is happily blowing into his blowout and of course all the animals are wearing party hats.
Am unteren Rand der Karte finden sich mehr Tiere: ein Frosch, ein Panda, ein Elefant, eine Schlange sowie zwei Ameisen. Auch sie tragen alle Partyhüte. Der arme Panda hat sich in einer Partygirlande, die er gerade aufhängen wollte, verheddert. Aber den Blumenstrauß hält er fest in der Hand. Die Schlange hat das Geburtstagsgeschenk dabei und der Elefant pustet silber-giltzernde Konfetti aus seinem Rüssel.
Außerdem habe ich hier sowohl hinter als auch vor den Motiven einige Gräser und Blumen aufgeklebt. Ich gebe zu, im Nachhinein hätte ich die großen Blumen hinter den Motive vielleicht eher weglassen sollen...
At the bottom of the card there are more animals: a frog, a panda, an elephant, a snake and two ants. They are all wearing party hats also. The poor panda has wrapped himself in the party garland that he wanted to hang up. But he's still clinging to the flowers he brought. The snake brings a birthday present and the elephant is blowing silver glitter confetti from his trunk.
I also added some grass and flowers in front of and behind the images. To be honest, in hindsight I think I should have left the large flowers behind the images out...
Beim Zusammensetzen der Szene kam wieder 3D Tape zum Einsatz. Und rund um die Szene habe ich noch einen Stitched Frame, gestanzt aus schwarzem Cardstock, geklebt. Dann habe ich alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.
When putting the scene together I used foam tape again. Around the scene I put a stitched frame, cut from black cardstock. Then I adhered the card panel to a white note card.
