Kennt Ihr das - auf dem Basteltisch liegen wunderbare neue Stempel und dann hat das Leben andere Pläne? Momentan geht es mir so, deswegen habe ich heute erstmal eine schnelle Karte mit einem der tollen neuen Stempelsets von Scrapbook Forever zu zeigen. Aber sie mussten zumindest eingeweiht werden!

Do you know those times - there are wonderful new stamps waiting for you in your craftroom and then life has other plans? That's what happens to me right now and so I only have to share a quickly made card using one of the new stamp sets by Scrapbook Forever today. But they needed to see some ink!
Da die Zeit ja knapp war, habe ich einen Kartenrohling aus perlmutt schimmerndem Cardstock verwendet und die Ränder so abgeklebt, dass ich ein Rechteck in der Mitte gestalten konnte. Der Text unten ist direkt auf die Karte gestempelt.
Since time was short I've used a card base cut from pearly shimmering cardstock and used tape to cover the edges, leaving a rectangle in the middle to decorate. The saying "merry christmas" was stamped directly onto the card base.
Für die Szene habe ich mit Distress Ink den Himmel und die Schneehügel gewischt. Für den Mond habe ich vorher einen Kreis aus Papier auf die Karte geklebt. Dann habe ich die Bäume aufgestempelt und Schneeflocken auf die Karte gespritzt.
Hirsch und Reh sind auf kraftfarbenen Cardstock gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und aufgeklebt. Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar Glitzersteine auff die Karte geklebt.
For the scene I've used Distress Ink to create the sky and snowy hills. For the moon I've put a circle cut from paper onto the card before adding the ink to the background. Then I've stamped the trees and sprinkled some snowflakes over the card.
The deers were stamped on kraft colored cardstock, cut out and glued onto the card. To finish this card I've added a few rhinestones in the end.
