Ich habe schon wieder eine Explosionbox zu zeigen - diesmal zur Konfirmation.
Da die Box für einen Jungen war, habe ich sie außen mit braunem Carstock beklebt und nur den Deckel dekoriert. Zu viel Gedöns passt hier einfach nicht, finde ich. Um den Deckel habe ich hellblaues Organzaband gewickelt, zur Schleife gebunden und einen Kreuzcharm mit angebunden.

I have another explosion box to share - this time it's for a confirmation.
Since the box is made for a boy I've glued brown cardstock to the outside and only decorated the lid. I think too much stuff just isn't for boys, escpecially this age. Around the lid I've wrapped some light blue organza ribbon, tied a bow from it and added a cross shaped charm.
Den Deckel habe ich erst ebenfalls mit braunem Cardstock beklebt, darauf kam hellblauer Cardstock, in den ich Wolkenlinien gestanzt habe.
Ein Regenbogen durfte nicht fehlen - und diesmal ist er sogar nicht gespiegelt.
Aus hellblauem Cardstock habe ich Wellen ausgestanzt, aufgeklebt und dazwischen eines der Papierschiffe von SF Stamps gesetzt. Von denen ist auch der Text, den ich auf ein Banner aus weißem Cardstock gestempelt bzw. gold embosst habe.
Oben am Regenbogen fliegt noch eine Taube vorbei.
Onto the lid I've put some brown cardstock as well, then added a layer of light blue cardstock into which I've die cut the stitched clouds.
I had to add a rainbow again - and this time it isn't mirrored like it was the last time...
From light blue cardstock I've die cut the waves, glued them onto the box and put a stamped paper boat between them.
The saying is stamped and gold heat embossed onto a banner cut from white cardstock.
And there's a dove flying close to the rainbow.

In der Mitte war genug Platz für einen goldenen Kelch. Er ist aus Spiegelfolie und mit der Cameo gemacht - und er hat mich einige Nerven gekostet, denn ich musste ich auf die Hälfte verkleinern, damit er in die Box passte. Er ist nur noch 10 cm hoch und dementsprechend klein waren manche Falt- und Klebelaschen...
Neben dem Kelch habe ich eine Bibel - gemacht mit einer Buchstanze von Magnolia - und ein Kreuz aufgeklebt.
Vor die christlichen Utensilien habe ich noch den Namen des Konfirmanden geklebt.
Im Hintergrund habe ich Sonnenstrahlen auf weißen Cardstock gewischt.
In the middle was enough space for the cup. It was cut from golden mirror cardstock using my Cameo - and it cost me some nerves! I had to cut it at only 50 % to make it fit inside the box. It's only 4" tall and that left me with quite a few tiny flaps and glueing areas...
Next to the cup I've added a bible - made using a book die by Magnolia - and a cross.
In addition to all the christian things I've also included the name of the recipient.
In the background I've added sun rays with a stencil and yellow Distress Ink.
Auf einer der sich öffnenden Laschen habe ich, wie immer, eine Tasche mit einer beschriftbaren Karte angebracht. Die Tasche habe ich mit einem Streifen Washi, etwas goldenem Spiegelkarten, zwei hellblauen Kreisen und einem gold embossten Brot mit Ähren dekoriert.
Onto one of the opening sides I've included a pocket with a card - as usual. The pocket is decorated with a piece of Washi, a strip of golden mirror cardstock, two light blue circles and a gold heat embossed bread.
Und auf der anderen Seite war wieder ein Kuvert gewünscht. Das ist aus golden schimmerndem Cardstock gestanzt und mit einem goldenen Kreuz - das blieb vom Kreuz auf der Bibel übrig - und einem goldenen Fisch auf einem hellblauen und einem braunen Kreis verziert.
I was also asked to include an envelope again. This was cut from golden shimmer paper and decorated with a golden cross - it was a left over from the cross on the bible - and a golden fish, glued onto a light blue and a brown circle.
