Heute wird es tierisch! Da hat sich nämlich eine ganze Gruppe verschiedener Tiere versammelt, um Geburtstagsgrüße zu überbringen.

Today I have a bunch of different animals for you - there are quite a few that came together to bring some birthday greetings.
Im Hintergrund habe ich mit den Confetti-Schablonen von MFT und Distress Ink Peacock Feathers, Weathered Wood und Mowed Lawn Konfetti aufgewischt. Die waren mir dann aber fast zu intensiv geraten, deswegen habe ich ein etwas kleineres Stück Vellum zugeschnitten und damit zumindest die Konfetti auf dem Großteil der Karte etwas abgemildert. Außen am Rand sind sie noch in voller Intensität zu sehen.
Den weißen Cardstock habe ich dann schwarz gemattet und auf eine Karte aufgeklebt.
For the background I've used the Confetti stencils by MFT and Distress Ink Peacock Feathers, Weathered Wood and Mowed Lawn to add the confetti. They turned out quite too bright so I've cut a piece of Vellum a bit smaller than my cardstock and used this to tone the confetti down, at least on the main part of my card. Around the edge you can still see them in full intensity.
Then I've matted the white cardstock with black cardstock and glued it onto a card base.
Hier sind die bereits angekündigten Partytiere. Die sind aus dem Birth-Yay Stempelset von MFT, mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Da die Farben immer noch sehr ähnlich den Confetti waren, habe ich mit einem ausgestanzten Sternenrahmen - gemacht mit der Star Shaker Window and Frame Stanze - für etwas mehr Kontrast gesorgt. Und ein paar schwarze Enamel Dots, gemacht mit Enamel Accents, durften auch noch auf das Vellum. Das habe ich übrigens ganz unsichtbar nur an den Stellen auf die Karte geklebt, auf denen sich die Motive befinden.
Here are the party animals I've been talking about. They are from the Birth-Yay stamp set by MFT, colored in with Copics and cut out. Since the colors I've used for the coloring were still a bit too close to the confetti I've used a die cut black star, made using the Star Shaker Window and Frame die and black cardstock, to add some contrast. And I've also added a few black Enamel Dots onto the Vellum as well. By the way, I've attached the Vellum to the background by adding glue onto to the areas where the images are to avoid the glue shine through.
Die Tierpyramide steht auf einem gestempelten Birthday. Die Stempel im Set Happy Birthday Blend sind so gestaltet, dass sie sich ganz einfach mehrfarbig abstempeln lassen. Ich habe hier grüne und türkisfarbene Tinte verwendet.
Darüber, gleich neben das Nilpferd, habe ich ein It's Your gesetzt. Das ist Teil eines der Stempel, der mit den Tieren kommt.
Darunter kam noch ein ein schwarzes Banner mit einem weiß aufembossten Text. Das You is eigentlich größer geschrieben, so viel Platz hatte ich aber auf meiner Karte nicht. Also habe ich es durch ein kleineres von einem anderen Text aus dem Set passend ersetzt.
The animals are standing on top of a stamped Birthday. The stamps in the Happy Birthday Blend stamp set are designed to easily stamp the letters in different colors. Here I went with green and turquoise ink.
On top of it, right next to the hippo, I've stamped a "it's your". This is a part of one of the sayings coming with the animals.
Under the Birthday I've added a black banner with a white embossed text. Originally the You is written larger but I didn't have enough room so I've replaced the bigger one with one the same size of the rest of the text.
