Der Dezember war ja recht voll was Termine angeht, und das Basteln war etwas in den Hintergrund gerückt. Vor allem das Basteln von Nicht-Weihnachtlichem. Und so zeige ich erst heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog endlich eine Karte mit einem der neuen Dezember-Stempelsets. Das wurde aber auch Zeit, finde ich!

December was pretty full so there wasn't much time to craft. Especially not to make anything not christmas related. So it took me until today to finally make a card using one of the sets from the december release. So I'm sharing this card over at the Stampcorner Blog today. It was about time, I'd say!
Für den Hintergrund habe ich hier die Wolken mit der Cloud Stencil von MFT und Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass aufgewischt. Die Berge und Stadtkulisse davor sind mit zwei der Stanzen aus dem Kingdom Trio Stanzenset von Mama Elephant, das Gras mit einer Stanze von MFT gemacht.
For the background I've used the cloud stencil by MFT and Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass. The mountains and skyline are made using two of the dies from the Kingdom Trio die set by Mama Elephant, the grass die is by MFT.
Und hier sind die süßen Motive aus dem Stempelset "Ich flieg auf Dich". Der Heißluftballon ist leer und kann mit einem der vielen süßen Tiere aus dem Set "bemannt" werden. Ich habe hier einen kleinen Eisbären in den Korb gesetzt und einen weiteren ins Gras gestellt. Passend zum Text, den ich direkt auf die Karte gestempelt habe, wirft der Bär viele Herzen aus dem Ballon herab. Und schon ist eine Valentinstagskarte fertig. Die Herzen sind übrigens aus dem Heart Shaker Gift Tag Stanzenset von LawnFawn - die stanzt gleich eine ganze Menge Herzen auf einmal. Die habe ich dann einfach über die Motive geklebt.
And these are the cute images from the new set. The hot air balloon comes "unmanned" and there are different animals to use with it. I went with a little ice bear and and stamped another one standing in the grass. Matching the saying that means "all good things come from above" that I've stamped directly onto the card the bear in the balloon is throwing hearts out of the balloon. And those hearts turn my card into a valentine's card. The hearts are made using a die from the Heart Shaker Gift Tag die set by LawnFawn. It cuts quite a lot of hearts at once. I've simply glued those on top of the images.
