Oh mein Gott, jetzt geht das so weiter wie letztes Jahr. Die Zeit rast! Und weil heute wieder eine neue Sketch-Inspiration auf dem Stempeleinmaleins-Blog online geht, muss der Januar schon wieder vorbei sein...

OMG - this year is going on just like the last, time is flying! And since we have another sketch inspiration over at the Stempeleinmaleins Blog today january must already been at its end...
Bisher sind wir mit Schnee ja nicht gerade verwöhnt worden. Kein Wunder also, dass der kleine Polarfuchs auf meiner Karte sich so über die frisch gefallenen Schnee freut und sofort Schnee-Engel macht!
Ich habe hier einfach auf eine weiße Basiskarte ein Stück etwas kleineres grauen Cardstock geklebt. Darauf kam eine Lage aus weißem Cardstock, das ich, entsprechend dem Sketch, in der Breite gekürzt habe. Dort habe ich einen Streifen Vellum, auf den ich mit dem Pinstripe Background Stempel von MFT quer Streifen in türkis aufembosst habe. Das Vellum habe ich an der Rückseite des weißen Cardstocks angeklebt und dann diese Lage mit 3D Tape auf den grauen Hintergrund geklebt.
So far this winter didn't bring much of snow. So it's no wonder that the little polar fox on my card is so happy about the fresh fallen snow and ran outside to make snow angels.
Here I've put a piece of grey cardstock, slightly smaller than my card base, on a white note card. Then I've added a layer of white cardstock from which I've cut off a strip, according the sketch. Instead of the cut off strip I've used a strip of Vellum that I've turquoise heat embossed the Pinstripe Background by MFT onto. The vellum is glued to the back of the white cardstock and then both pieces were glued onto the grey cardstock with dimensionals.
Der süße Fuchs ist von Mama Elephant. Es gibt auch passende "Schnee-Engel"-Stempel im Set. Aber ich habe mir anders beholfen. Da ich genug Platz rechts und links des Schwanzes brauchte, habe ich den Stempel rechts und links davon jeweils eingeschnitten und die Beine beim Abstempeln nach oben gebogen. Für den Schnee habe ich das Oval aus weißem Cardstock erst dünn mit Strukturpaste bestrichen. Dann habe ich mir das Motiv ein weiteres Mal auf Moosgummi abgestempelt und mit etwas Abstand zu den Stempellinien ausgeschnitten. Nach dem Trocknen der Strukturpaste habe ich dieses Moosgummimotiv auf das Oval aufgelegt und rundum schön dick erneut Strukturpaste aufgetragen. Das Moosgummimotiv habe ich dann vorsichtig abgenommen und mit einem Spatel für die verschobenen Schneeteile des Schnee-Engels die Strukturpaste weggeschoben. Dann habe ich alles noch mit weißem Samtpuder bestreut und ordentlich lange trocknen lassen. Dann brauchte ich nur noch das colorierte Motiv "in den Schnee" kleben. Gefällt mir echt gut so!
Das Oval habe ich dann türkisfarben gemattet, mit Cheesecloth hinterlegt und ein paar aus grauem Cardstock gestanzte Schneeflocken dahinter/dazwischen gesetzt.
Der Text ist von LawnFawn. Ich habe ihn mehrfach aus weißem und einemal aus türkisfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und aufeinander geklebt, so dass er insgesamt höher als das Motiv mit der Paste ist. Dann habe ich es erst mit Glossy Accents überzogen, das war mir aber nicht intensiv genug, deswegen kamen noch Stickles darüber.
Ein paar Duck Egg Blue farbene Nuvo Drops kamen als Deko auch noch zum Einsatz.
The cute fox is by Mama Elephant. There are also matching "snow angel" stamps in the set but I went a different way here. Since I needed more room to both sides of the tail I've cut a slit into the stamp there and bend the legs upwards before stamping the image. For the snow I've covered an oval cut from white cardstock with a thin layer of modelling paste. Then I've stamped the image again onto crafting foam and cut it out with a bit of distanze to the stamped lines. After the modelling paste had dried I've put the foam image on the oval and added more modelling paste around it, making it a pretty thick layer here. Now I've carefully taken out the foam image and used a spatula to move the modelling paste at the legs and arms to create a snow angel. Then I've covered everything with some white velvet powder and put it aside for quite a while to let it dry. All I needed to do afterwards was putting the colored image back in place - and I really like how this came out!
I've matted the oval with some turquoise cardstock, put some cheesecloth underneath and added some snowflakes, cut from grey cardstock, underneath and inbetween those layers.
The saying is by LawnFawn. I've die cut it several times from white and once from turquoise cardstock and stacked them to make the text higher than the oval with the snow/paste. First I've added some Glossy Accents on top of the text, but that wasn't quite enough for my taste so I've also added a layer of Stickles there.
A few duck egg blue colored Nuvo Drops were also added here.
Und hier habe ich das Motiv nochmal etwas schräg aufgenommen, so kommt der Schnee noch besser zur Geltung, denn den so zu fotografieren, wie er in echt aussieht, ist gar nicht so einfach.
And here I've taken a picture of the image with an angle to make give you a better look at the snow. It really isn't that easy to take a good picture of that!
