Ab sofort darf ich das Team von JM Creation unterstützen - und dies ist mein erstes Werk.
Hello everyone!
From now on I am part of the amazing team of JM Creation - and this is the first card I've made using their stamps and dies.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich Stempeltinte in verschiedenen Blautönen sowie schwarz von unten nach oben dunkler werdend aufgewischt. Da ich die Wolken im Hintergrund nicht weiß haben wollte - der Kontrast wäre zu hart gewesen - habe ich sie vor dem Wischen des Hintergrundes erst mit einem helleren Blau gestempelt, dann den unteren Teil nochmal mit dunklerem Blau. Dafür habe ich den Stempel mit dem dunklen Blau eingefärbt und mit einem Tuch von oben her die Farbe abgewischt/abgetupft. Dann kam klares Embossingpulver darüber, so konnte ich sie beim Wischen nicht ebenfalls dunkler machen, denn vom Embossingpulver lässt sich die Farbe ganz einfach abwischen.
For the background I've inked a piece of white cardstock with different tones of blues and black, getting darker from bottom to top. Since I didn't want white clouds in the background - the contrast would have been too hard - I've added those before inking the background. I've stamped them with a light blue color first, then added some darker blue to the bottom. I've simply inked up the stamp with the darker blue, then used a cloth to dabb off the ink from the top. Then I've covered them with clear embossing powder. After inking the background the ink can easily be wiped off of the embossing powder and you can see the lighter colors.
Die süßenHasen auf der Leiter sind einfach klasse! Ich habe sie mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Das war zwischen den Sprossen ein wenig frickelig, aber die Arbeit absolut wert! Die Hasen samt Leiter sind mit dünnerem 3D Tape auf die Karte geklebt, ans obere Ende der Leiter habe ich eine weitere Wolke mit etwas dickerem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Die habe ich mit einer der Wolkenstanzen von JM Creation ausgestanzt und, passend zu den Wolken auf dem Hintergrund, zweifarbig blau eingefärbt.
Those cute bunnies on a ladder are just adorable! I've colored them with Copics and cut them out. It was a bit tricky to cut out the inner parts but totally worth the work! The bunnies are glued to the card with thinner dimensionals, to the top end of the ladder I've added a cloud using a thicker 3D tape. I've die cut the cloud and, to make them match the clouds in the background, used two different colors of blue ink to ink it up.
Am Himmel habe ich goldene Sterne verteilt. Dafür habe ich die Sterne des Hasen auf dem Häuserdach Stempels gold aufembosst und sie mit goldener Glitzerkreide ein wenig gefüllt. Dabei habe ich ihnen einen kleinen Schein gegeben.
To the sky I've added some stars. I've golden heat embossed the stars to the sky and then used golden shimmer chalks to add some shine to and around them.
Zum Schluss kam noch der Text auf die Karte. Der ist ebenfalls aus dem Hasen auf dem Häuserdach Stempelset und golden auf einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Dann habe ich ihn unter einen der Hasen geschoben und auf die Karte geklebt.
In the end I've added a saying. I've golden heat embossed it onto a strip of black cardstock, then tucked it under one of the bunnies and glued it down. The saying means "reach for the stars".
