Es stimmt - es kann nicht immer schlecht sein. Nach jedem Sturm folgt Sonnenschein, im Großen wie im Kleinen. Und diese positive Botschaft möchte ich mit meiner Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog zeige, rüberbringen.

It's true - times can't always be bad. After each storm there is sunshine, no matter if it's regarding small or big things. And this positive thought is what I want to transmit with this card that I'm sharing over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog today.
Hier habe ich Alcohol Inks für den Hintergrund verwendet. Es sind Dandelion, Red Pepper, Wild Plum und Indigo, die ich mit etwas Blending Solution vermischt auf einen der Filz-Wischer aufgetragen und auf Yupo aufgewischt habe. Ich habe hierbei von oben nach unten gearbeitet, dadurch entsteht der doch für Alcohol Inks relativ weiche Farbübergang.
Aus dem fertigen Hintergrund habe ich den Sunshine Shaker von MFT ausgestantz und mit goldenem Spiegelcardstock hinterlegt.
Die Skyline ist mit der City Blocks Stanze aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt.
Darüber kam eine Lage dunkelblauen Cardstocks, etwas kleiner als das Yupo zugeschnitten, aus dem ich eine der Elegant Rectangle Stax ausgestanzt habe. Auch das ist mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt und bildet nun eine Art Fenster zu bzw. Rahmen um die Szene
Here I've used Alcohol Inks to create the background. I've used Dandelion, Red Pepper, Wild Plum and Indigo and mixed it with some Blending Solution on one of those Felt Applicators. Then I've wiped this over my Yupo. I've started at the top worked downwards and ended up with this quite soft color blending, at least for Alcohol Inks.
From the fiinished background I've die cut the Sunshine Shaker by MFT and put some golden mirror cardstock behind it.
The skyline is made with the City Blocks die, cut from black cardstock, and glued onto the background with dimensionals.
On top I've glued a layer of dark blue cardstock, cut slightly smaller than the Yupo, from which I've die cut one of the Elegant Rectangle Stax. Also this layer is glued onto the scene with dimensionals and creates a kind of window in front of or frame around the scene.
Unterhalb des ausgestanzten Fensters/Rahmen habe ich einen aufbauenden Text aufgebracht Die weiß embossten Teile sind aus dem Rain Before 'n' After Stempelset von Lawnfawn. Ich habe sie so aufgestempelt, dass dazwischen das ausgestanzte sunshine von MFT passt. Das ist ebenfalls aus goldenem Spiegelcardstock gestanzt.
Zuerst habe ich überlegt, hier noch ein paar Glitzersteine oder ähnliches mit aufzukleben, aber dann habe ich mich für die "klarere" Variante entschieden.
Under the die cut window/frame I've added an encouraging saying. The white embossed parts are from the Rain Before 'n' After stamp set by LawnFawn. I've positioned them in a way to leave room for the die cut sunshine by MFT. It's die cut from golden mirror cardstock as well.
At first I had planned to add a few rhinestones or sequins here but then decided to go with the "plain" version.
Und weil die Karte auf den oberen Bildern durch die Spiegelung meiner Kamera im Spiegelcardstock ein wenig düster wirkt, habe ich hier nochmal ein Bild, das ich etwas schräg aufgenommen habe. Hier strahlen Sonne und Text so, wie sie es auch tatsächlich tun.
And sincde the card on the pictures above look a bit dull due to the reflexion of my camera in the mirror cardstock I've taken another picture from an angle. Now you can see the real shine of the sun and text.
