Oops, es ist passiert. Ich habe einen Geburtstag verpasst. Aber da haben wir ja alle passende Stempel, oder? Und weil das Geburtstagskind ein kleiner Technik-Freak ist, kam die Laptop-Stanze von JM Creation gearde recht.

Oops, I did it. I've forgotten about a birthday. But luckily all of us stampers have some stamps for that kind of situation, right? And since the birthday guy is all into techniques the laptop die by JM Creation just came in very handy.
Den Deckel des Laptops habe ich aus schwarzem Gloss-Cardstock gestanzt. Ich wollte die Kanten des Laptops abrunden und habe deswegen von hinten einen Embossing Stift mit großer Kugel darübergedrückt. Dadurch sind leider kleine Risse in der Gloss-Lage entstanden. Naja, jetzt ist er halt nicht mehr ganz neu, der Laptop.
Als Laptop"Marke" habe ich ein Rechteck auf die Außenseite der Karte geklebt, auf das ich Schneckenpost aus dem Stempelset Kleine Worte aufgestempelt habe.
I've die cut the top of the laptop from glossy black cardstock. Since I wanted the edges to be a bit rounded here I've used a embossing pen with a big ball tip on the back. Unfortunately that left cracks on the glossy layer. Well, it isn't a brand new laptop anymore... ;)
As the brand I've added a matted square on which I've stamped a "snail mail" text.
Und so sieht der aufgeklappte Laptop aus. Hier habe ich die komplette Karte aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Die Tastatur ist aus grauem Cardstock gestanzt und schwarz hinterlegt. So sind auch die Tasten schwarz. Hier habe ich per Hand mit einem weißen Gelmarker einen Gruß auf die einzelnen Tasten verteilt.
And this is the opened laptop. Here I've die cut the complete card from white cardstock. The keyboard is cut from grey cardstock and I've put some black cardstock behind it to get black keys. Here I've added a "happy belated birthday" saying to the keys, written by hand with a white gelly marker.
Um den Bildschirm zu dekorieren habe ich das Stempelset Laptop Grüße benutzt.
Die Binärcodes im Hintergrund sind mit mittelgrauer Tinte auf hellgrauen Cardstock gestempelt. Ich habe einfach denselben Stempel mehrfach auf dem grauen Cardstock verteilt.
Mit dem ABC 1 habe ich ein ERROR! aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt und auf den grauen Cardstock geklebt. Darunter habe ich weiße Cardstockstücke mit rot aufgestempelten Texten aufgeklebt.
Bemerkt hat den Fehler natürlich der coole Roboter - und die Sache an sich ist ihm sichtlich peinlich! Er ist ebenfalls aus dem Stempelset Laptop Grüße und mit Copics coloriert.
Hinter den Ausschnitt im Laptop-Deckel habe ich zuerst Klarsichtfolie aufgeklebt, dann kam der dekorierte graue Cardstock dahinter. So sieht es aus wie ein richtiger Bildschirm.
To decorate the monitor I've used a new stamp set.
The binary codes in the background are stamped onto light grey cardstock with middle grey ink. I've simply stamped the same stamp several times on different places.
Using a alphabet die set I've die cut the word ERROR! from red cardstock and glued it onto the grey background. Underneath I've added a few white strips of cardstock with texts stamped on in red ink. The mean #birthday, #missed and #sorry (obviously).
Of course it was that cool roboter that realized the mistake - and you can see that he's pretty ashamed. He's colored with Copics and also glued onto the background.
Behind the cut out in the laptop top I've first glued some acetate, then glued the grey cardstock behind it. Now it looks like a real monitor.
