Bei Winter denkt man ja eher an kühle Farben wie grau und türkis. Ich schlage da heute mal aus der Art und zeige auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog eine Winterkarte in Pink.

When you think of winter cool colors like blue and turquoise come to your mind first. Well, I thought outside of the box today and so I'm sharing this winter card in pink over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog.
Schuld an dieser Farbwahl war das pinkfarbene Designpapier mit den Schneeflocken aus dem Christmas Cheer Papierblock von MFT. Wenn schon, denn schon, habe ich mir gedacht und gleich mehr Pink verwendet und auf das übliche Blau verzichtet.
Das Designpapier habe ich im Hintergrund verwendet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
Well, it's this beautiful pink designer's paper with the snowflake print from the Christmas Cheer paper pad by MFT that is to blame about the colors of this card. And well, since I was going to use it I've decided to add more pink elements and don't use any blues.
I've used the designer's paper in the background for my sky and glued it onto a white note card.
Die Berge im Hintergrund sind mit der Snow Capped Mountains Stanze aus hell- und dunkelgrauem Cardstock gestanzt sowie weiß für die Schneehauben.
Das süße rosa Haus ist aus dem Scenic Snowglobe Stanzenset. Das Dach sowie das Dach über der Tür sind aus rotem Cardstock, die kleinen Details aus dunkelgrauem Cardstock gestanzt. Und weil ich auch kein Grün mit auf die Karte packen wollte, habe ich die beiden Tannen hinter dem Haus kurzerhand aus bräunlich-grauem Cardstock gestanzt.
Für die Schneehügel habe ich die Stitched Snow Drifts Stanzen benutzt - es kamen alle drei verschiedene Formen im Set zum Einsatz. Die und die Berge und das Haus mit Tannen habe ich dann abwechselnd jeweils mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund aufgeklebt.
Auf die letzte Lage kamen dann die süßen Pinguine aus dem Polar Opposites Stempelset zum Einsatz. Ich habe die Motive - den Pinguin auf dem Schlitten, den großen Pinguin, die Schnur sowie die beiden Mützen, durch Masking zu einem Motiv zusammengestempelt. Dann habe ich es mit Copics coloriert, ausgeschnitten und auf den obersten Hügel geklebt.
Dann fehlte noch ein Text. Der ist aus dem Stempelset Beary Best Friends. Ich fand, er passt hier einfach perfekt zu den beiden Pinguinen. Ich habe ihn mit schwarzer Tinte auf ein Stück pinkfarbenen Cardstock gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und unten auf die Karte aufgeklebt.
The mountains in the background are made with the Snow Capped Mountains die set and cut from light and dark grey cardstdock and some white for the snow caps.
The cute pink house is from the Scenic Snowglobe die set. The roof and the roof above the door are cut from red cardstock, the small details from dark grey cardstock. And since I also didn't want to add any green to this card I've simply cut the two trees from a brown-ish grey cardstock.
For the hills I've used the Stitched Snow Drifts dies and used all three shapes of the set on this card. Those and the mountans and the house with the trees are glued onto the background and on top of each other with dimensionals.
Onto the top layer I've glued those cute penguins from the Polar Opposites stamp set. I've done some masking to turn the images - the small penguin on the sleigh, the big penguin, the rope and the hats - into one image. Then colored it with Copics, cut it out and glued it down.
Now all my card was missing was a text. This one's from the Beary Best Friends stamp set. I think it goes perfectly with those penguins on my card. I've stamped it onto a banner of pink cardstock with black ink and glued it to the bottom of my card.
