Heute habe ich mal etwas Nicht-Weihnachtliches für Euch - eine Dankeskart für einen Handwerker.

Today I'm sharing something no-christmassy. It's a thank you card for someone who helped with building some stuff.
Ich habe schwarzen Cardstock für den Hintergrund gewählt und einen weißen Kartenrohling.
I've used black cardstock for my background and glued it onto a white note card.
Hier habe ich die Werkzeug-Stanzen von JM-Creation verwendet. In diesem Set ist auch das tolle Lochblech enthalten. Das habe ich aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt und an den vier Ecken jeweils ein schraubenförmiges Brad angebracht.
Die Werkzeuge sind aus mattem silber-foliertem Cardstock sowie braunem Cardstock gestanzt. Auf den braunen Cardstock habe ich zuvor den Holzhintergrund aufgestempelt.
Ich habe das Werkzeug auf die Lochwand geklebt. Da es aber da an der Wand ja nicht von selbst hält, habe ich mit dünnem schwarzen Metallgarn kleine Ösen gebastelt. Dafür habe ich das Garn einfach durch die Löcher neben den Werkzeugen gefädelt.
Dann habe ich das Board samt Werkzeug mit 3D Tape auf den schwarzen Cardstock geklebt.
Here I've used the tools die set by JM-Creation. This set also contains a peg board die. I've die cut that from red carstock and put a screw shaped brad through each of the corners.
The tools are cut from mat silver foiled carstock and brown cardstock. Onto the brown cardstock I've stamped a wood pattern before die cutting the pieces from it.
I've glued the tools onto the board, but surely it can't just float there on the boat. So I've used some thin black metallic thread to create some loops that hold them in place. I've simply weaved the thread through the holes next to the tools.
Then I've glued down the board with the tools onto the black cardstock with dimensionals.
Im unteren Bereich kam dann der Text auf die Karte. Dafür habe ich wieder braunen Cardstock mit dem Holzhintergrund bestempelt und dann mit dem ABC Groß Stanzenset das Wort Danke ausgestanzt. Das habe ich dann noch mit dem matt-silbernen Cardstock gemattet. Dafür habe ich es auf den silbernen Cardstock aufgeklebt und per Hand ausgeschnitten.
Unter dem Danke befindet sich ein rotes Banner, auf das ich silbern "Du bist mein Held" aus dem Stempelset Du bist... super aufembosst habe.
Das Banner und auch die Buchstaben sind wieder mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt.
The lower part of the card was used for the text. Again I've stamped a wood pattern onto some brown cardstock and then die cut the word "thanks" from it. Since I wanted to mat the letters I've glued them onto the mat silver cardstock and then hand cut them out.
Under the word thanks I've added a red banner onto which I've silver heat embossed a "you're my hero" text.
Banner and letters are again glued down with foam tape.
Und nun heißt der Post ja "zweimal danke". Beim Ausschneiden des Lochblechs kam mir eine weitere Idee, die ich dann auf die schnelle testen wollte. Und so ist eine weitere, ganz einfache, Karte entstanden, für die ich genau die selben Stanzen benutzt habe - und trotzdem ist sie komplett anders ausgefallen.
Well, the post has the title "double thanks". When die cutting the peg board I had another idea that I just wanted to try out quickly. And so I've made another, really simple card, for which I've used the exact same dies - and that turned out completly different.
Ich hatte die Idee, die Lochwand zum Sticken zu benutzen. Also habe ich auf die schnelle ein Herz aufgestickt. Da die Löcher recht groß und weit auseinander sind, habe ich den Sticktwist doppelt genommen, so ist das Gestickte schön voll.
Da ich fand, dass die Knopf-Brads prima zum Thema Sticken - oder auch Nähen, was ja irgendwie mit dazu gehört - passen, habe ich die an den Ecken angebracht.
Dann habe ich den bestickten Cardstock wieder mit 3D Tape auf roten Cardstock geklebt.
I had the idea of using the peg board to do some embroidering. So I've quickly embroiderd a heart onto it. Since the holes are pretty big and pretty far away from each other I've used the twine double up to get a nicely filled heart.
I thought the button shaped brads go great with the embroidery - or sewing since it all kind of belongs together - theme so I've added four of those to the corners.
Then I've glued the embroidered "peg board" onto some red cardstock, again using foam tape.
Wieder habe ich mit dem ABC Groß Stanzenset das Wort Danke ausgestanzt, diesmal aus pinkfarbenem Cardstock, und es weiß gemattet.
Darüber habe ich ein weißes Banner aufgeklebt, auf das ich die Worte "von Herzen" aus dem Stempelset Blumentrio mit rosafarbener Tinte aufgestempelt habe.
Again I've die cut the word "thanks", this time from pink colored cardstock, and matted the letters white.
Above it I've added a white banner onto which I've stamped a "heartfelt" with pink ink.
