Heute zeige ich auf dem Stampcorner Blog eine weitere Karte mit dem neuen Stempelset Monsterchen von Oma Plott aus dem Januar Release. Ich hatte damit ja bereits eine Sneak Karte gemacht, aber diesen gut gelaunten Kameraden musste ich auch unbedingt noch auf eine Karte bringen.

Today I am sharing another card over on the Stampcorner blog, that I used the new stamp set Monsterchen from the january release, designed by Oma Plott. I already used the set for my sneak but I just had to put this bright mooded guy on a card.
Im Hintergrund kam der Speed Lines Stempel zum Einsatz. Ich habe ihn mit dunkelbrauner und schwarzer Tinte auf ein Stück grauen Cardstocks gestempelt und dann die Ränder des Cardstocks leicht mit Distress Ink Black Soot gewischt. Dann habe ich etwas Copic Opaque White aufgespritzt.
In the background I used the Speed Lines stamp. I stamped it with dark brown and black ink onto a piece of grey cardstock, then inked the edges of the cardstock with a bit of Distress Ink Black Soot. I also flicked some Copic Opaque White onto the background.
Ich denke, die Tatsache, dass der Kerl einen Bad Hair Day hat, ist nicht sein einziges Problem... Er scheint auch noch seinen Kaffee verschüttet zu haben.
Mit Distress Ink Gathered Twigs habe ich per Ink Smooshing ein Stück Watercolor Paper braun eingefärbt - der fleckige Look, den das Ink Smooshing kreiert, war hier einfach perfekt. Dann habe ich mit der Wave Blob Stanze den großen Fleck ausgestanzt - einmal aus dem braun eingefärbten Cardstock, einmal aus schwarzem Cardstock. Die beiden Lagen habe ich dann aufeinander geklebt. Der Fleck bildet den Hintergrund für mein Motiv.
Das Motiv habe ich mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Die Highlights, auch auf dem Kaffeefleck, sind mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht.
Auch der Text ist aus dem Stempelset. Ich habe ihn mit rot-brauner Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und in drei Teile aufgeteilt ausgeschnitten. Die einzelnen Textteile habe ich dann schwarz gemattet und über sowie unter dem Motiv angeordnet.
I think, the fact that this guy seems to have a bad hair day, isn't his only problem. Looks like he also spilled his morning coffee.
I did some ink smooshing on a piece of watercolor cardstock with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs - the splotchy look, that the ink smooshing creates, was just perfect here. Then I used the Wave Blob die to cut out the big blob - once from the cardstock I did the ink smooshing on, once from black cardstock. Then I put the black layer behind the brown one to create the backdrop for my image.
The image I colored with Copics, cut it out and added some highlights with a white gel pen, also on the spilled coffee.
The text means "Good morning?! Are you looking for a fight?". I stamped it with reddish brown ink onto white cardstock and cut it into three pieces. Then I matted each part of the text black and arranged them around the image.
Den Kaffeefleck habe ich mit dünnem, darauf dann das Motiv und die Texte mit dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Und um das rötliche im Motiv nochmal aufzugreifen, habe ich einige dunkelrote Enamel Dots auf der Karte verteilt.
Zum Schluss habe ich alles schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
I adhered the spilled coffee with thin, then the image and text with thick foam tape. To pick up the reddish color in the image I added a few dark red Enamel Dots.
Then I matted the cardstock black and attached it to a white note card.
