Ich will bitte Frühling - jetzt! Und weil ich genau weiß, dass das wohl noch ein wenig dauert - wobei im Garten gerade die Schneeglöckchen das Blühen angefangen haben - habe ich heute eine weitere Frühlingskarte für Euch.

I want spring - now! And because I know very well, that it will take some more time until it's here - allthough the snowdrops that just started blooming in the garden are a good sign - I have another spring card to share today.
Für mich gehören Hasen und Möhren irgendwie zum Frühling. Auf dieser Karte habe ich beide vereint....
Der Hintergrund ist aus weißem Cardstock gemacht, den ich mit Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina gewischt habe. Dann habe ich etwas Wasser, weiße Acrylfarbe und hell-koralle farbene Metallic Watercolor daraufgespritzt.
Auf dem Hintergrund befinden sich drei Graslagen, gestanzt aus dunkel-, mittel- und hellgrünem Cardstock. Die beiden dunkleren Lagen habe ich direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt.
To me, bunnies and carrots just belong to spring. On this card I combined both...
The background is made from white cardstock, that I inked with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina. Then I spattered a bit of water, some white acrylic paint and some light coral colored metallic watercolor onto it.
On the background I placed three layers of grass, die cut from dark, middle and light green cardstock. Die beiden dunkleren Lagen habe ich direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt.
Hier steht eine ganze Kiste Möhren auf einer Wiese und dazwischen/dahinter verstecken sich ein paar kleine Hasen.
Die Holzkiste ist mit der Harvest Crate Stanze von LawnFawn gemacht. Ich habe sie - genauso wie das Schild aus dem selben Set - aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert. Dann habe ich die Karotten aus dem Rooting for You Stempelset mit jeweils einem hellen und einem dunklen Orange- und Grünton zusammengestempelt und ausgeschnitten. Außerdem habe ich noch das kleine Schildchen mit hellgrüner Tinte gestempelt und mit dunkelgrüner Tinte das Wort Carrots darauf gestempelt.
Die Karotten habe ich dann in die Kiste gelegt. Sie waren etwas zu kurz, also habe ich sie jeweils in drei Teile geschnitten und etwas versetzt in die Kiste geklebt, auf diese Weise konnte ich sie verlängern. Die immer noch sichtbaren leeren Stellen in der Kiste habe ich einfach mit etwas orangefarbenem Cardstock hinterlegt. Eine Möhre habe ich vor die Kiste gelegt.
Die Hasen sind aus dem Stempelset Some Bunny. Nach dem Colorieren und Ausschneiden habe ich sie hinter die Kiste geklebt. So im Nachhinein betrachtet, sieht es durch meine Anordnung ein wenig so aus, als wäre ein super-langer Hase hinter der Kiste. Natürlich spring einer gerade links hinter die Kiste, ein anderer schaut an der rechten Kante dahinter hervor....
Vor der Kiste befindet sich die hellgrüne Graslage. Daraus habe ich vor dem Aufkleben mit 3D Tape mit einer der Sandy Beach Accents Stanzen einen kleine Hügel gestanzt und dort das Schild geschoben. Darauf habe ich zuvor "happy spring" aus dem Window Scene Spring Stempelset gestempelt. Dort, wo das Schild in den Schlitz geschoben ist, habe ich zusätzlich Grasbüschel, gestanzt mit Stanzen aus dem Treehouse Set, eingesteckt.
Und weil im Frühling ja endlich auch die ersten Blümchen blühen, habe ich aus korallefarbenem Cardstock kleine Blüten ausgestanzt und auf der Wiese verteilt. Die Blümchen sind mit Blumen aus dem Treehouse Set gemacht, die kleinen Blüten sind eigentlich die Blütenmitte einer der Blumen aus dem Outside In Stitched Strawberry Set.
My crate full of carrots is placed on a meadow, a few little bunnies are hiding in/behind it.
The crate I made with the Harvest Crate die by LawnFawn. I die cut it - and also the sign from the same set - from white cardstock and colored it with Copics. Then I used a light and a dark shade each of orange and green ink to stamp the carrots from the Rooting for You stamp set and cut them out. I also stamped the little flower pick with light green ink and stamped the word carrots onto it with dark green ink.
I put the carrots inside the crate. Since they were a bit too short, I cut each into three pieces and glued them behind the crate with a bit of a gap between the pieces to make them longer. To cover the still visible empty spaces in the crate I put some orange cardstock behind the crate. One of the carrots I placed in front of the crate.
The bunnies are from the Some Bunny stamp set. After coloring and cutting them out I glued them behind the crate. Well, looking at the card now, that the way I arranged them it looks a bit like one extra long bunny is hiding behind the crate. Of course there are two - one is just jumping behind the crate, another one is peeking out from behind the right side...
In front of the crate there's the layer of light green grass. Before attaching that with foam tape I used one of the dies from the Sandy Beach Accents die set to cut a little hill into it. I put the sign, that I had stamped a "happy spring" from the Window Scene Spring set onto, into that slit and also put some grass, cut with dies from the Treehouse die set, inside the slit as well.
And since the first flowers finally bloom in spring, I die cut some small flowers from coral cardstock and planted those on the meadow. I used dies from the Treehouse set again to cut the larger flowers, the tiny ones are actually the flower centers of one of the flowers from the Outside In Stitched Strawberry set.
Meine Karte brauchte natürlich auch einen Text. Also habe ich "some bunny wishes you a" aus dem Eggstraordinary Easter Add-On Set mit weißem Embossingpulver auf den mittelgrünen Cardstock embosst und mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Himmel geklebt. Ergänzt wird er dann durch das "happy spring" auf dem Schild.
Und weil der Himmel so leer aussah, habe ich noch diverse kleine Schmetterlinge aus den Sets Butterfly Kisses, Butterfly Kisses Flip-Flop und Trees Before 'n Afters gestempelt, coloriert und am Himmel verteilt. Einige davon sind ebenfalls mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Außerdem habe ich sie mit Stickles ganz dezent beglittert.
Of course my card needed a text. I white heat embossed the "some bunny whises you a" text from the Eggstraordinary Easter Add-On Set onto a strip of the middle green cardstock and adhered it to the sky with thin foam tape. The text gets completed by the "happy spring" that I stamped onto the sign.
And since the sky looked so empty I stamped different little butterflies from the sets Butterfly Kisses, Butterfly Kisses Flip-Flop and Trees Before 'n Afters, colored them and let them fly all over the sky. Behind some of them I put some thin foam tape again. I also put a bit of Stickles onto their wings.

Als letzten Schritt habe ich meine Szene auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
