Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Kennt Ihr das - Ihr habt eine Idee zu einer Karte und am Ende schaut das Ergebnis ganz anders aus. So ging es mir hier. Nicht ein einziges Element meiner ursprünglichen Idee ist auf der Karte gelandet! Aber das macht nichts, so habe ich gleich einen Ansatzpunkt für die nächste Karte. ;)

Does it ever happen to you, that you start with a card idea and the end result looks completly different from what you had in mind? That's what happened to me here. Not a single element of my original idea made it onto this card! But I don't really care, it only means that I have an idea for another card already. ;)
Hier habe ich zuerst den Hintergrund gestaltet und ein Stück weißen Cardstocks mit dem Briefkuvert aus dem Stempelset Love Letter von LawnFawn in grauer Tinte bestempelt. Ab und an habe ich auch das Briefkuvert mit der Adresse aus dem selben Set dazwischen gesetzt.
Die Herzen auf den verschlossenen Umschlägen habe ich mit Copics hellrosa coloriert, außerdem habe ich mit einem hellgrauen Marker einen Schatten unter und links neben jedes Kuvert gesetzt. Dann habe ich silberne Metallic Watercolor auf den Cardstock gespritzt.
I started with my background here and stamped the envelope from the Love Letter stamp set by LawnFawn with grow ink onto it. Inbetween I added the envelope with the adress from the same stamp set.
I colored the hearts of the sealed envelopes with Copics light pink and also used a light grey marker to draw a shadow under and to the left of each envelope. Then I flicked some silver metallic watercolor onto the cardstock.
Aus weißem Cardstock habe ich dann drei Kuverts gestanzt. Die geschlossenen sind aus dem DinLang Postage Stanzenset von Create a Smile, das hat mir aber geöffnet nicht so gefallen. Also habe ich noch ein anderes Kuvert mit dem Envelope Sliders Set von Ellen Hutson gestanzt, das muss man ja nicht in einen Slider verwandeln.
Die kleinen Herzen auf den Kuverts sind wieder aus dem Set von Create a Smile und aus eher ins dunkle Rosa gehende rotem Cardstock gestanzt.
Den offenen Umschlag habe ich obenau die beiden geschlossenen gesetzt und aus dem Kuvert kommt eine kleine Schnecke. Die ist aus dem Gleeful Gardens Stempelset von LawnFawn und ebenfalls mit Copics coloriert. Darüber habe ich noch eine kleine Sprechblase mit einem weiß aufembossten Hello aus dem Special Delivery Add-On Set geklebt.
From white cardstock I die cut three envelopes. The closed ones are made with the DinLang Postage die set by Create a Smile, but I didn't like the look of those opened. So I die cut another one using one of the Envelope Sliders dies by Ellen Hutson, you don't have to turn those into sliders.
The small hearts on the envelopes are again from the die set by Create a Smile and die cut from a more dark pink-ish red cardstock.
I adhered the opened envelope on top of the two closed ones and then let a little snail come out of it. It's from the Gleeful Gardens stamp set by LawnFawn and also colored with Copics. I added a little speech bubble with a white embossed hello from the Special Deliver Add-On set above the snails head.
Unter den Kuverts war Platz für meinen Text. Das "snail mail for you" ist mit schwarzer und einem weiteren Stempel aus dem Gleeful Gardens Set direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt.
Darunter habe ich ein "is it too late to say happy birthday" angebracht. Dafür habe ich Stempel aus dem Set Offset Sayings Birthday von LawnFawn weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und ausgeschnitten. Und weil es in dem Set kein Fragezeichen gibt, mir das aber definitiv fehlte, habe ich eines aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt.
Under the envelopes there was room for my text. The "snail mail for you", which is another stamp from the Gleeful Gardens set, I stamped with black ink directly onto the background.
Under it I added a "is it too late to say happy birthday". I used stamps from the Offset Sayings Birthday set by LawnFawn to put the text together and white heat embossed it onto black cardstock, then cut them out. And since there is no question mark in the set, but I really felt I needed one here, I simply die cut one from black cardstock.
Die kleine Schnecke ist mit dünnem 3D Tape in das Kuvert geklebt. Hinter dem offenen Kuvert befindet sich dickes 3D Tape, da es ja teilweise auf den anderen Kuverts aufliegt und ich den Höhenunterschied ausgleichen musste. Deswegen habe ich auch hinter die Sprechblase dickes 3D Tape gesetzt. Hinter den schwarzen Textstreifen habe ich dann wieder dünnes 3D Tape benutzt.
Zum Schluss habe ich einige schwarze Glitzersteine auf der Karte verteilt und den Cardstock auf einen rosaroten Kartenrohling geklebt.
The little snail I glued with thin foam tape into the envelope. Behind the opened envelope I put some thick foam tape because I needed to even out the height difference from where it lays on the other envelopes. So I put some thick foam tape behind the speech bubble, too. And to adhere the text strips I used thin foam tape again.
As the last step I added a few black rhinestones and attached the cardstock to a pinkish-red card base.
