Heute habe ich eine sommerlich-blumige Karte für Euch. Die Idee zu der Karte begann eigentlich damit, dass ich Text verwenden wollte - und zum Schluss hätte ich fast keinen Platz mehr dafür gefunden.

Today I have a summerish flower card to share with you. I started only knowing that I wanted to use this text - and in the end I nearly didn't have room for it.
Der Hintergrund ist mit der Fancy Lattice Stanze von LawnFawn gemacht, die ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt habe. Das war mir aber ein wenig zu grell, deswegen habe ich ihn kurzerhand mit Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina, Broken China und ein wenig Uncharted Mariner gewischt. Hinterlegt habe ich ihn dann mit dunkelgrünem Cardstock, den ich von außen her mit Black Soot gewischt habe. Anschließend habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe daraufgespritzt.
The background is made wth the Fancy Lattice die by LawnFawn, that I die cut from white cardstock. That seemed a bit hard so I decided to ink it with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina, Broken China and a bit of Uncharted Mariner. I backed it with some dark green cardstock, that I inked around the edges with Black Soot. Then I splattered some white acrylic paint on top.
Auf der Karte befindet sich eine Gießkanne, gefüllt mit frisch geschnittenen Blumen aus dem Garten. Und drumherum habe ich einige Gartengeräte/Gärtneraccessoires verteilt.
Bis auf den Text und die Aufschrift auf der Samentüte ist hier tatsächlich nichts gestempelt...
I used a watering can, filled with fresh cut flowers, as the main element on my card. Around it I put some gardening tools/gardener's accessoires.
Except for the text and the details on the seed pockets I used die cuts only here...
Die Blumen sind mit dem Lovely Layers Wildflowers Set von HoneyBeeStamps gemacht. Ich habe die Stiele aus Cardstock in verschiedenen Grüntönen gestanzt, die Blüten jeweils aus weißem Cardstock. Dann habe ich alles mit Distress Inks gewischt - die Stiele mit passenden, etwas dunkleren Grüntönen, die Blüten mit Stormy Sky, Salvaged Patina und einem Grau-Lilaton von SU. Außerdem habe ich Wild Honey, Mowed Lawn, Hickory Smoke und Black Soot für die Blumenmitten verwendet.
Und weil die Blumen so fast ein wenig flach aussahen, habe ich mit farblich passenden Polychromos und Prismacolor und einem weißen Gelstift Details aufgemalt.
The flowers are made using the Lovely Layers Wildflowers Set by HoneyBeeStamps. I die cut the stems from cardstock in different shades of green, the blossoms from white cardstock. Then I inked all the pieces with Distress Inks - the stems with matching darker tones of green, the blossoms with Stormy Sky, Salvaged Patina and a grey-ish purple by SU. I also used Wild Honey, Mowed Lawn, Hickory Smoke and Black Soot for the tiny flower centers.
And since I thought the flowers looked too flat I used Polychromos and Prismacolor in matching colors and a white gel pen to draw in some details.
Die Gießkanne samt Schaufel, Grabgabel und Samentüte sind alle aus dem Watering Can Stanzenset von LawnFawn. Die Gießkanne habe ich aus hellgrünem, die metallenen Teile der Geräte aus hellgrauem Cardstock gestanzt. Die Samentüte ist aus weißem Cardstock gemacht. Dann habe ich alles wieder mit Distress Ink gewischt - für die Samentüte und Holzgriffe der Gartengeräte habe ich Frayed Burlap benutzt - und wieder mit Polychromos und Prismacolor Schatten und Details aufgemalt. Auf das Samentütchen habe ich Blumen aus dem Set Garden Mouse und das Wort Seeds vom Samentütchen aus dem Set Garden Before 'n Afters benutzt und mit schwarzer Tinte aufgestempelt.
Zwischen diese größeren Elemente habe ich dann noch einige Kleeblätter und kleine Blüten gesteckt - alles wieder aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und wie oben beschrieben coloriert. Die Kleeblätter sind aus dem Set Lucky Clovers, die Blüten aus den Sets Outside In Stitched Strawberry und Stitched Strawberry Frame.
The watering can and the shovel, fork and seed pocket are all from the Watering Can die set by LawnFawn. I die cut the watering can from light green, the metall parts of the gardening tools from light grey cardstock. The seed pocket I die cut from white cardstock. Then I inked the parts again with Distress Ink - I used Frayed Burlap for the seed pocket and wooden handles of the tools - and again used Polychromos and Prismacolor to add shadows and details. Onto the seed pocket I stamped flowers from the Garden Mouse set and the word seeds from the seed pocket image from the Garden Before 'n Afters set using black ink.
Between those larger elements I put some clover leaves and small blossoms - again all die cut from white cardstock and then colored as mentioned above. The clovers are from the Lucky Clovers die set, the blossoms from the sets Outside In Stitched Strawberry and Stitched Strawberry Frame.
Die Stiele der großen Blumen habe ich in den Schlitz, der in die Gießkanne gestanzt wird, gesteckt. Bis auf das Samentütchen und die kleine Blume ganz rechts habe ich dann alle Elemente mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt und dabei einige Teile wie die Gartengeräte oder zwei der großen Blumen in der Gießkanne nochmal mit 3D Tape hinterlegt.
Und dann fehlte noch der Text - mit dem ja alles begann. Der ist ebenfalls aus dem Garden Mouse Stempelset von LawnFawn. Ich habe ihn weiß auf dunkelgrünen Cardstock embosst und dann doch noch ein Plätzchen dafür gefunden. Den letzten Teil des Textes habe ich einfach mit 3D Tape quer auf die Gießkanne gesetzt.
Zum Schluss habe ich noch einige klare Pailetten rund um die Blumen in der oberen Hälfte der Karte verteilt und dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling angebracht.
I put the stems of those large flowers through a slit in the watering can, that the die cuts. Besides the seed pocket and the little blossom on the very right of the card I adhered everything with thin foam tape to the background, doubling up the foam behind a few elements like the gardening tools and two of the large flowers.
And then my card needed a text - the one thing the whole idea started. It's also from the Garden Mouse stamp set by LawnFawn. I white heat embossed it onto dark green cardstock and then managed to find a place for it. The last part of it I simply glued on top of the watering can using foam tape.
I added a few clear sequins to the top area of the card, around the large flowers, then attached my card panel to a white note card.
