I love the mice by LawnFawn - but I'm sure you already figured that out. They are so wonderfully versatile, can be combined easily and I love to send them onto different adventures. Today they are out in the woods....
Ja, es ist mal wieder einiges los auf der Karte.
Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks, den ich mit Distress Oxide Shaby Shutters, Cracked Pistacchio, Salvaged Patina und Broken China gewischt habe. Ich wollte dieses etwas difuse Licht kreiren, das im Wald herrscht. Deswegen habe ich unten grün, oben dann türkis verwendet. Von oben habe ich dann noch einige Lichtstrahlen aufgewischt - einfach mit einem kleinen Blending Brush und weißer Stempeltinte.
Auf den Hintergrund habe ich dann erst etwas Wasser und anschließend mit Wasser verdünnte weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.
Links steht ein großer Baum. Den habe ich mit der Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop Stanze aus craft farbenem Cardstock gestanzt und erst mit Distress Oxide Walnut Stain und Scorched Timber gewischt. Dann habe ich mit braunen Polychromos und einem weißen Gelstift einige Details aufgemalt. Darüber habe ich dann quer über den unteren Bereich einen Grashügel, gemacht mit der
Mushroom Border Stanze aus grünem Cardstock, den ich von unten her mit
Mowed Lawn gewischt habe, aufgeklebt.
Yes, there's once again a lot going on on this card.
The background is made from a piece of white cardstock, that I inked with Distress Oxide Shabby Shutters, Cracked Pistacchio, Salvaged Patina and Broken China. I wanted to create this kind of mystic light in the woods, that's why I picked green at the bottom and aqua on the top. I also added a few rays of light - simply with a small blending brush and some white pigment ink.
Onto the background I first splattered some water, then some white acrylic paint that I thinned with water.
On the left side there's a large tree. I die cut that from kraft colored cardstock using the Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop die, then first inked it with some Distress Oxide Walnut Stain and Scorched Timber. I then used brown Polychromos and a white gel pen to add some details to it. On top of that I placed a grassy hill. I die cut it from green cardstock using the Mushroom Border die set and inked the bottom with Mowed Lawn.
Die kleine Mäuse klettern hier fröhlich auf einigen Fliegenpilzen herum. Die Pilze sind mit dem Happy Mushrooms Set und der Mushroom Border Stanze ausgestanzt. Die Hüte habe ich mit Aged Mahogany gewischt, die Stiele mit etwas Scorched Timber.
Die Mäuse sind aus den Sets Crazy Antics, Sew Very Mice, Just Plane Awesome, Bubbles of Joy und Super Star. Eine der Mäuse hält ein Schild aus dem Carrot 'Bout You Set hoch, auf das ich das "you're awesome" aus dem Set All the Speech Bubbles aufgestempelt habe. Der Wurm, der aus dem großen Pilz herausschaut, ist aus dem Set A Bug Deal, die Schnecke auf dem Pilz aus dem Set Gleeful Gardens. Und ein paar Ameisen aus dem Crazy Antics Set krabbeln auch noch auf der Karte herum. Alle Motive sind mit Copics coloriert.
Zwischen all den Elementen habe ich einige Steine und Farne aus dem Happy Mushrooms Set verteilt. Die Farne habe ich auf den Kopf gedreht, weil mir so ihre Richtung besser gefallen hat, dann habe ich den dunkelgrünen Cardstock ein wenig mit Cracked Pistacchio gewischt.
Die Gräser und die beiden Blumen ganz vorne auf der Karte sind aus dem Stanzenset Tree House.
The little mice are playing on and between some mushrooms here. The mushrooms are from the Happy Mushrooms set and the Mushroom Border set. I inked the hats with Aged Mahogany, the stems with Scorched Timber.
The mice are from the sets Crazy Antics, Sew Very Mice, Just Plane Awesome, Bubbles of Joy and Super Star. One of the mice is holding a sign from the Carrot 'Bout You set, onto that I've stamped the "you're awesome" from the All the Speech Bubbles set. The worm, that's looking out of the large mushrooms is from the A Bug Deal set, the snail on top of it from the Gleeful Gardens set. And there are also some ants from the Crazy Antics set joining the mice. I colored all images with Copics.
Between all those elements I put some stones and ferns from the Happy Mushrooms set. The ferns I used face down because I liked their directions better that way. I inked the dark green cardstock with some Cracked Pistacchio.
The grass and the two flowers in the bottom corners are from the Tree House die set.
Am oberen Rand der Karte befindet sich mein Text. Den habe ich auf ein Stück Cardstock, das ich mit Broken China gewischt habe, aufgestempelt und dabei einen Text aus dem Snowball Fight Set verwendet. Statt des "snow much" dort habe ich ein "so mush" aus dem Porcu-Pine for You Set eingesetzt. Das "so mush" habe ich rot aufembosst, den Rest des Textes schwarz gestempelt.
Und im oberen Bereich habe ich dann auch noch ein paar Schmetterlinge aus dem Butterfly Kisses Set untergebracht.
I put my text along the bottom edge of the card. I stamped it onto a piece of white cardstock that I inked with Broken China and used a text from the Snowball Fight set. The "snow much" in this text I replaced with a "so mush" from the Porcu-Pine for You set. The "so mush" I het embossed with red embossing powder, the rest of the text is stamped black.
And in the upper half of the card I also added a few butterflies from the Butterfly Kisses set.
Ich habe mich hier mit 3D Tape zurückgehalten, ganz ohne ging es aber natürlich nicht. Grashügel und Baum sind direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt, alle Motive habe ich mit dünnem 3D Tape hinterlegt. Und darauf kam dann, mit dickem 3D Tape hinterlegt, noch der Flower Garden Backdrop. Den habe ich aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und von außen ein wenig mit Black Soot gewischt, auf die Spitzen der Blätter habe ich ein wenig weiße Stempeltinte aufgewischt. Die Blüten habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und dann mit Copics coloriert.
An den Rahmen habe ich dann auch die beiden Blumen im Vordergrund geklebt.
Ganz zum Schluss habe ich einige Elemente wie die Blüten, die Schmetterlinge, die Ameisen und die Punkte auf den Pilzen ein wenig mit Stickles beglittert und dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.
I tried to not use a lot of foam tape here, but of course I had to use at least some. The grassy hill and the tree are glued directly onto the background, behind all the other elements I used thin foam tape. And on top of all of that, backed up with thick foam tape, I put the Flower Garden Backdrop. I die cut that from dark green cardstock and inked the outer edges with some Black Soot. Onto the tips of the leaves I added a bit of white pigment ink. The flowers I die cut from white cardstock and colored them with Copics.
Onto the frame I also attached the two flowers in the foreground.
As the last steps I used Stickles to glitter up some of the elements like the flowers, the butterflies, the ants and the dots on the mushrooms and then adhered everything to a white note card.
