Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Heute geht es in den Dschungel - und dort besuchen wir zwei süße Affen. Denn hier habe ich endlich die Affenbande - zumindest zum Teil - aus dem Juni-Release von Create a Smile eingeweiht.

We're going into the jungle today - and we're visiting two cute monkey there. Here I finally used the Affenbande stamp set - at least part of it - from Create a Smile's june release.
Ich habe hier ein Stück weißen Cardstocks so zugeschnitten, dass er jeweils in Höhe und Breite 2 cm schmäler als mein Kartenrohling ist, denn ich wollte, dass später ein breiterer Rand sichtbar ist. Den Cardstock habe ich dann mit Distress Ink Cracked Pistacchio, Lucky Clover und Pine Needles gewischt - oben rechts am dunkelsten und nach unten links hin auslaufend. Dann habe ich ein wenig Wasser aufgespritzt.
I cut a piece of white cardstock making it both in width and length 2 cm shorter than my card base because I wanted to have a wider frame later. I inked the cardstock with Distress Ink Cracked Pistacchio, Lucky Clover and Pine Needles, dark in the top right and fading out towards the bottom left. Then I did some fine splatters with water.
Die Blätter sind ebenfalls aus dem Affenbande Stempelset. Und wie schon im Hintergrund habe ich auch hier mal nicht meine üblichen Color Combos zum Colorieren verwendet. Alle Teile habe ich mit Copics coloriert und dann per Hand ausgeschnitten.
Die Liane, von der einer der Affen hängt, habe ich mit einem schwarzen Fineliner so verlängert, dass sie von Rand zu Rand meines Cardstocks reicht und trotzdem darüber noch Platz zum Sitzen für den zweiten Affen ist. Dem hängenden Affen habe ich noch eine Banane aus dem selben Set in die Hand gegeben.
Um das Gelb der Banane aufzugreifen, habe ich ein paar Blüten mit der Kleine Blüten Stanze gestanzt und gelb coloriert. Außerdem habe ich einige kleine Blätter mit der ebenfalls neuen Blätter Stanze aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und ebenfalls mit Copics coloriert.
The leaves are also from the Affenbande stamp set. And just like I did for the background I didn't use my usual green color combos for my coloring also. I used Copics to color all the elements and cut them out with my scissors.
The vine one of the monkeys is hanging from is a bit shorter originally. I used a black fineliner to make it longer so it fits from edge to edge of my cardstock but there's still room for the second monkey to sit on it. The monkey, that's dangling from the vine, I gave a banana from the same stamp set to hold.
To pick up the yellow of the banana I used the Kleine Blüten die set to die cut some small flowers that I colored yellow. I also used the also new die Blätter to die cut some small leaves and colored them green.
Bei meinem Text war ich erst etwas ratlos - ich wollte etwas, das zu den lustigen und etwas verrückten Affen passt. Dann kam mir die Idee: ich habe das "erwachsen werden?" aus dem Set Niemals mit den Worten "du" und "Scherzkeks" aus dem ebenfalls neuen Set Du kombiniert.
Ich habe beide Texte mit schwarzer Tinte auf gelben Cardstock gestempelt und ausgeschnitten.
At first I was a bit at a loss for what text to use - I wanted something that goes with the funny and a bit crazy monkeys. Then I had an idea: I combined the "growing up?" from the Never stamp set with the "you're joking" from another new set, that's only available in german.
I stamped both texts with black ink onto yellow cardstock and cut them out.
Dann habe ich alle Elemente auf meinem Hintergrund aufgeklebt - dabei kam neben Flüssigkleber auch wieder sowohl dünnes als auch dickes 3D Tape zum Einsatz. Dazwischen habe ich einige weiße Enamel Dots verteilt.
Mein eigentlicher Plan war, den dekorierten Cardstock direkt auf den Kartenrohling zu kleben, aber da fehlte mir irgendwie der Kontrast. Also habe ich ein Stück schwarzen Cardstocks etwas kleiner als meinen Kartenrohling geschnitten und ihn als Mattung für den dekorierten Cardstock benutzt.
Then I adhered all the elements onto the background - besides liquid glue I also used both thin and thick foam tape. Inbetween I added a few white Enamel Dots.
My original paln was, to adhere my card panel directly to the note card, but I was missing some contrast here. So I cut a piece of black cardstock a bit smaller than my card base and used that as a mat behind the decorated panel.
