Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 16. April 2016

Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Was also tun? ;)

Hello everyone!
Today there is a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins. And this week we show you how to make beautiful flowers out of crepe paper. Well, that was the plan. I wasn't able to get any crepe paper hier. What to do? I had the idea that coffee filters are made from a similar material and gave those a try... ;)

And guess what  - it worked! My flowers my not be as fine and much layered as the ones made from crepe paper, but I still like how they turned out! Oh, and the coffee filter color was another plus.

I used my flowers to decorate another diamond box that we shared a tutorial for a few weeks ago. Besides the flowers I also added two cut out leaves and a banner with a text. It says thank you and was made using the Danke Pop-Up die by Kulricke. Simple, elegant - exactly how I wanted it to be.
I also wrapped some pink organza ribbon around the lid to make a connection with the pink heart next to the saying.
