Halloween-Verpackung mit Shaker

Jetzt ist schon September, es wird herbstlicher und das bedeutet auch, dass Halloween näher rückt. Als ersten September-Beitrag für das Halloweeners Team von WhimsyStamps habe ich mal keine Karte, sondern eine Verpackung für Süßes - oder auch Saures - gewerkelt.

It's september already, it's getting more fall-ish outside and that also means, that Halloween is coming closer. For my first september creation for the Halloweeners team by WhimsyStamps I didn't make a card but a little box to put in some candy - sweet or sour. 

 

Eigentlich wollte ich erst nur den Shaker, der die Box ziert, machen. Aber irgendwie fehlte dem was. Also habe ich von hinten eine kleine, oben offene Box angeklebt. In die habe ich dann eine Zellophan-Tüte gesteckt. Die ist momentan noch leer, ich habe noch keine Halloween-Süßigkeiten zu Hause. Aber vor dem Verschenken wird sie natürlich gefüllt. Verschlossen habe ich die Tüte mit einer schwarzen und einer orangefarbenen Schleife.

 

Originally I had planned to only make the shaker, that's the front of the box. But something was missing. So I glued a little box, open at the top, behind the shaker. Into it I've put a clear bag. It's empty at the moment, I don't have any Halloween candy at home yet, but of course it will be filled before I hand it out. I used an orange and a black bow to tie the bag closed.

 

 Die Front/der Shaker besteht aus einem großen Candy Corn. Der ist mit der Primitive Candy Corn Stanze gemacht. Ich habe die Schattenlage einmal aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und dann den Rahmen mit der Schattenlagen und der Einsatz-Stanze ebenfalls aus schwarzem Cardstock gemacht. Die inneren Teile habe ich aus weißem, orangefarbenem und gelbem Cardstock gestanzt. 

Die inneren Teile habe ich mit Distress Ink Hickory Smoke, Fossilized Amber und Rusty Hinge ein wenig gewischt und dann mit schwarzer Acrylfarbe bespritzt. Außerdem habe ich nur die Quernähte mit einem schwarzen Fineliner nachgemalt. 

Hinter den Rahmen habe ich eine Lage Acetate gesetzt und ihn dann mit dünnem 3D Tape auf die Basis geklebt. Zuvor habe ich den Shaker mit winzigen dunkel-silbernen Sternen sowie orange- und pinkfarbennen Folienkreisen gefüllt. 

 

The front/shaker is a large candy corn. I made it using the Primitive Candy Corn die. I cut the shadow layer from black cardstock, then used the same die and the one for the inner pieces to create a frame, again from black cardstock. The inner pieces I cut from white, orange and yellow cardstock and inked them with Distress Ink Hickory Smoke, Fossilized Amber and Rusty Hinge. I splattered some black acrylic paint onto those inner pieces and also used a black fineliner to only trace the stitches that go across the inner parts.

Behind the frame I glued  a layer of acetate and then used thin foam tape to glue the top onto the base. Before I filled the shaker with tiny darksilver star confetti and some small orange and pink foil dots. 

 

 

Ich habe meinem Candy Corn ein Gesicht verpasst. Dafür habe ich Versamark Tinte durch eines der Gesichter der Halloween Expressions Stencil auf das Acetate getupft und dann schwarzes Embossingpulver aufgestreut. Das von mir verwendete Acetate ist hitzebeständig, so dass sich beim Schmelzen des Pulvers nichts gewellt hat. Und um sicher zu gehen, dass das geschmolzene Pulver auch wirklich hält, habe ich das Gesicht vorsichtshalber auf die innere Seite des Shakers aufembosst. Dort habe ich dann auch zwei kleine hellrosa Kreise, einfach mit ein paar Handstanzen gemacht, als Backen aufgeklebt. Die Highlights in den Augen und auf den Backen habe ich dann mit einem weißen Acrylmarker oben auf die Folie gemalt. 

Und ich fand, dem Candy Corn würde ein Hut gut stehen. Also habe ich eines der Motive aus dem Set Halloween Tricks abgestempelt und nur den Hut der Hexe ausgeschnitten. Den habe ich mit Alkoholmarkern coloriert und ihn oben über die Spitze des Candy Corn gesteckt. 

 

I gave my candy corn a face. I dabbed Versamark ink onto the actetae through one of the faces from the Halloween Expressions stencil, then sprinkled black embossing powder onto it. The acetate I used is heat resistent so the acetate didn't warp when I melted the  powder. And to make sure that the powder really sticks to the acetate and can't get rubbed off I created the face on the backside of the acetate that will be inside my shaker. There I also glued on two small circles from light pink cardstock - I simply used two handheld punches for them - as cheeks. The highlights on the eyes and cheeks I then drew on top of the acetate using a white acrylic marker. 

And I thought, a hat would look nice on this candy  corn with its funny face. So I stamped one of the images from Halloween Tricks and only cut out the witche's hat. I colored it with alcohol markers and put it onto the tip of the candy corn. 

 

 Im unteren Bereich des Shakers - dessen Füllung Ihr hier auf diesem Bild übrigens auch mal verteilt sehen könnt - habe ich etwas Deko und einen kleinen Text angebracht. 

Ich fand, es muss nicht unbedingt Happy Halloween auf dem Shaker stehen. Ein einfaches Yummy tut es auch, oder? Ich habe es mit der Yummy Word Stanze aus pinkfarbenem und schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt, die Teile leicht versetzt aufeinander und auf den Shaker geklebt. Pink habe ich übrigens wegen der Shaker-Füllung gewählt. Das war ein fertiger Mix aus orange- und pinkfarbenen Confetti und die Farben voneinander zu trennen war ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit. Also habe ich stattdessen ein wenig Pink in der Deko verarbeitet.

Ebenfalls pink sind die  beiden Knöpfe, die ich aufgeklebt habe. Zuvor habe  ich etwas schwarzes Twine durch die  Löcher gezogen. 

Außerdem habe ich zwei weiße Narben/Nähte und einen Flicken aus schwarzer Basis und hellorangefarbenem Aufleger mit weißen Punkten angebracht. Alle diese Elemente - und noch ein paar weitere, die ich hier nicht verwendet habe - kommen ebenfalls im Primitive Candy Corn Stanzenset. 

 

In the lower  area of the shaker - by the way you can see the shaker bits scattered around on this picture - I added some decoration and a small text.

I've decided that there doesn't have to be a Happy Halloween on this shaker. A simply Yummy works as fine, right? I made it using the Yummy Word die and cut it from pink and from black cardstock. I stacked the die cuts a bit offset and then glued them onto the shaker. I've picked pink because of the shaker filling. It was a readily done mix from orange and pink confetti and separating the colors  was impossible. So instead I brought some pink into the decorations.

Also pink are the two buttons that I glued onto the candy corn. I put some black twine through the holes in the buttons.

I also added two white seams/scars and a patch, made from a black base and a light orange topper with white dots. All these elements, and a few more that I didn't use here, come with the Primitive Candy Corn die set.

Der August ist schon fast vorüber und Halloween rückt näher. Na, kommt Ihr langsam in Stimmung? Wenn nicht, hilft Euch vielleicht mein heutiger WhimsyStamps Halloweeners Beitrag ein wenig auf die  Sprünge...

August is nearly over and Halloween is coming closer. Are in a Halloween mood already? If not, maybe this card I made for the WhimsyStamps Halloweeners Team a bit to feel ready for it...

 

Die Karte fing eigentlich ganz anders an und die Hälfte der Elemente haben es dann gar nicht auf die Karte geschafft. Außerdem ist doch etwas düsterer ausgefallen als geplant. 

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks. Den habe ich erst mit Distress Ink Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint und Forest Moss gewischt und mit Wasser bespritzt. Anschließend habe ich mit Versafine Clair Nocturne den Tree Silhouette Background aufgestempelt. 

Aus hellblauem Glitter-Cardstock habe ich den Drippy Frame ausgestanzt und auf Vellum geklebt. Das Vellum habe ich in der Größe meines Hintergrunds zugeschnitten und außerdem den Bereich innerhalb des Rahmens herausgeschnitten. So wird nur der äußere Bereich durch das Vellum abgetönt. 

 

The card started with a completly different idea and half of the elements didn't even make it onto the card. It also turned out darker than I had planned.

The background is made from a piece of white cardstock. I inked it with Distress Ink Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint and Forest Moss and spritzed water onto the ink. Then I used Versafine Clair Nocturne ink to stamp the Tree Silhouette Background onto the inked cardstock.

From light blue glitter cardstock I die cut the Drippy Frame and glued it onto vellum. I cut the vellum down to the same size as my background and also cut out the center of the frame. This way only the areas outside of the frame get toned down. 

 

 Als Hauptmotiv habe ich mich für eines der Monster aus dem Set Monster Halloween entschieden. Eigentlich hatte ich zwei der süßen - äh, sorry, natürlich gruseligen! - Monster verwenden, aber die haben irgendwie nicht mehr ins Design gepasst. Ich habe ihn olivgrün coloriert, sein süßes Tütü habe ich hellblau gehalten. 

Als Boden habe ich die Buschreihe aus dem Field of Butterflies Stanzenset aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und unten an den Rand meines Hintergrunds geklebt. Darauf steht das kleine Monster.

 Der Text in der hellblauen Sprechblase ist ebenfalls aus dem Monster Halloween Set. Ich habe es schwarz auf eine der Sprechblasen aus dem Set Speech Bubbles gestempelt, die ich zuvor auf den Kopf gedreht habe, damit sie in die andere Richtung zeigt. Außerdem habe ich sie schwarz hinterlegt. 

Auf die Bäume im Hintergrund habe ich dann noch ein paar Augen geklebt, um das Orange des Kürbiseimers nochmal aufzugreifen. Die Augen sind die Ausstanzungen eines der Geister aus dem Set Peeking Ghosts. Außerdem habe ich noch einige Fledermäuse aus dem Set Bat Reveals, gestanzt aus schwarzem Cardstock, auf der Karte verteilt. 

 

Als the main image I went with one of the monsters from Monster Halloween. I orginally had planned to use two of those cute - sorry, spooky! - monsters but they didn't really fit my scene together. I colored  it an olive green, the cute tutu costume I did a light blue.

As the ground I die cut the row of bushes from Field of Butterflies from black cardstock and glued it along the bottom edge of my background. The little monster is standing on it.

The text in the light blue speech bubble is again from Monster Halloween. I stamped it black onto one of the speech bubbles from Speech Bubbles, turning it onto the face so it faces the other direction. I also matted it black.

Onto the trees in the background I glued a few eyes to pick up the orange of the pumpkin bucket again. The eyes are the cut outs from one of the ghosts from Peeking Ghosts. I also added a few bats from Bat Reveals to my card.

 

 Den Text habe ich im oberen Bereich meiner Karte untergebracht. Er besteht aus einem gestanzten Scary aus dem Set Scary Night Word und Teil eines Textes aus dem Stempelset Cutie Batootie. 

Das Wort habe ich aus Vellum gestanzt, die "Schleimspur", die davon herabtropft, aus weißem Cardstock, den ich in hellem Olivgrün coloriert habe. Der gestemplte Text ist weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

 

I added the text to the top half of my card. It's put together from a die cut Scary from Scary Night Word and part of a text stamp from the Cutie Batootie stamp set.

I die cut the word from vellum, the "slime", that's dripping down from it, from white cardstock. Then I colored it a light olive. The stamped text is white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

 

 Beim Zusammensetzen der Karte habe ich die Fledermäuse, die Sprechblase und den embossten Text mit dünnem, das Monster mit dickem 3D Tape hinterlegt. Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. 

 

When putting the scene together I backed the bats, the speech bubble and the embossed text parts with thin, the monster with thick foam tape. Then I glued the card panel onto a white note card.

 

 

Nightmare Nectar in einer Flasche

 Für meinen heutigen Beitrag für das WhimsyStamps Halloweeners  Team habe ich einen Schlaftrunk gebraut. Allerdings möchte ich dringend davon abraten, ihn zu kosten - von Zaubertränken verstehe ich nämlich mal so überhaupt nichts. Da dürfte man auch an der Farbe des Tranks erkennen...

For today's WhimsyStamps Halloweeners Team card I have brewed a sleeping potion. But I really want to suggest you don't try it - I have absolutly no knowledge about potions. I guess you can tell that  from the color  of this potion...

 

Pünktlich zur Halloween-Bastelsaison habe ich meine Sprays wieder entdeckt. Irgendwie nutze ich die sonst eher selten bis nie. Aber das Fleckige finde ich zu Halloween einfach super passend.

Ich habe ein Stück Watercolor Cardstock  erst  mit Wasser besprüht und dann Distress Spray Stain Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn und Black Soot aufgesprüht. Nach dem Trocknen habe ich dann noch Distress Mica  Stain Wicked Elixier, Tree  Lot  und Specimen aufgesprüht. Das sorgt für farblich passende aber glitzernde Flecken auf dem Hintergrund. 

Auf die rechte Seite habe ich dann noch eines der Spinnennetze aus dem Set Spiders and Webs, gestanzt aus Vellum, aufgeklebt.

 

Right in time for Halloween craft season I re-discovered my sprays. Somehow I use those very rarely - or never. But I think the splotchy look is just perfect for Halloween.

I first sprayed some water onto a piece of watercolor cardstock, then sprayed Distress Spray Stain Twisted  Citron, Mowed Lawn and Black Soot onto it. After the cardstock had dried I sprayed some Distress Mica Stain Wicked Elixier, Tree  Lot and Specimen on top. It adds some speckles to the card, that match in color but have some nice shine.

Onto the right side of the background I glued one of the spiderwebs from Spiders and Webs, cut from Velllum. 

 

 Die Zaubertrankflasche nebst sämtlichen Accessoires ist mit dem Stanzenset Potion Bottle gemacht - nur den aufsteigenden Qualm habe ich mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Set Revealers 2 gemacht.

Ich war mir nicht sicher, welche Farbe mein Trank bekommen sollte, und habe meinen Mann gefragt, an was er bei "Nightmare Nectar" farblich denkt. "Ein dunkles Lila" war seine Antwort - was mich ein wenig überrascht hat. Ich hätte eher zu einem dunklen Blau gegriffen. Aber die Idee gefiel mir und so habe  ich sie umgesetzt. 

Alle Elemente der Flasche  habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Alcoholmarkern coloriert. Bei der Flasche kamen dann noch ein dunkellila-farbener sowie ein dunkelbrauner und ein weißer Polychromo zum Einsatz um der Flasche die Glasoptik zu verleihen. 

Auf die colorierte Flasche habe ich dann mit Versafine Clair Nocturne das "Nightmare Nectar" Motiv aus dem Stempelset Potion Labels  aufgestempelt - und leider ist mir dabei die Flasche im Misti ein klein wenig verrutscht und die Stempellinien waren minimal verschoben. Da das Colorieren der Flasche doch einige Zeit in Anspruch genommen hat, habe ich sie trotzdem verwendet und neben den Buchstaben jeweils links und unten einen "Schatten" mit einem weißen Gelstift gegeben. So ist der Text trotzdem gut lesbar. 

An die Flasche habe  ich ein Etikett mit dem Hinweis "Toxic" gebunden. Das Wort Toxic ist dabei mit den ausgestanzten Buchstaben einer weiteren Stanze aus dem Set gemacht.  

Unten neben der Flasche habe ich dann den Korken sowie auf der linken Seite einen Totenkopf samt dahinter befindlichen Knochen aufgeklebt. Es sieht fast so aus, als hätte doch jemand meinen Trank probiert... 

Am Korken sowie  am oberen Rand der Flasche läuft ein wenig des Schlaftrunks herab.  

 

The potion bottle and all the accessoires are made using dies from the Potion Bottle set - only the smoke, that comes out of the bottle, is made using one of the dies from Revealers 2.

I really wasn't sure which color to use for my potion, so I asked my husband what color comes to his mind when he hears "nightmare nectar". He said "a very dark purple" and that surprised me. I though of some kind of dark blue. But I liked his idea and so I went with it.

I die cut all the elements of the bottle from white cardstock and colored them with alcohol markers. For the bottle I also brought in a dark purple, a dark brown and a white Polychromo to add the glass look.

Onto the colord bottle I stamped the "Nightmare Nectar" image from the Potion Label stamp set using Versafine Clair Nocturne. My bottle moved just a tiny bit in my Misti and I ended up with some very subtle double lines. Since coloring the bottle had taken quite some time I decided to use it anyways and drew a very fine "shadow" to the left and under the letters using a fine white gel pen. This way the text is still legible. 

I tied a tag with the word "toxic" on it to the bottle. The word toxic I wrote using the letters from a label from the same die set. 

At the bottom I added the cork and a skull and crossed bones to both sides of the bottle. It looks like someone tried my potion...

From the cork and also the bottle rim some of the potion is dripping down. 

 

 Den aus der Flasche aufsteigenden Qualm habe ich mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Revealers 2 Set aus lilafarbenem Vellum gestanzt und dabei die Rückseite nach oben gelegt. Die hat eine Art matt-weiße Beschichtung, während die Vorderseite eher glänzend und dunkler war. Die matte Seite hat mir hier besser gefallen. 

Den Qualm, das Wort Toxic und die beiden Teile herabtropfenden Zaubertranks habe ich mit Stickles beglittert. 

 

I die cut the smoke, that comes out of the bottle, from purple vellum, using one of the dies from Revealers 2, then turning the backside up. It has some kind  of white-ish and matte coating, while the front is a darker, shiny purple. I liked the matte side better for the smoke.

The smoke, the word toxic and both pieces of dripping down potion I glittered with some Stickles.

 

 Die Flasche  und die Knochen sind mit dünnem, Korken, Label und Totenkopf mit dickem 3D Tape hinterlegt. 

Als Deko habe ich noch einige lilafarbene Pailetten auf der Karte verteilt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

The bottle and the bones I backed with thin, the cork, label and skull with thick foam tape.

I added some purple sequins as decoration, then glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Nachts auf den Straßen der Stadt

Heute zeige ich Euch eine neue Halloween-Karte, die wieder für das WhimsyStamps Halloweeners Team entstanden ist. Und diesmal geht es in die  Großstadt. Was da passiert wenn alles schläft, hättet Ihr wohl nicht erwartet...

 

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing  with you another Halloween card that I made as a member of the WhimsyStamps Halloweeners team. We are taking a look at the large city today and I think you wouldn't have guessed what happens there once every human is deep asleep...

 

Der Hintergrund der Karte ist diemal komplett gestempelt: ich habe den City Street Background mit schwarzer Tinte auf hellgrauen Cardstock gestempelt. Dann habe ich alles erst von unten her mit Distress Ink Hickory Smoke und ein wenig Black Soot gewischt. Dann habe ich graue Alcohol Marker verwendet und einige Teile  der Häuser sowie die Straße ganz rudimentär schattiert, einfach um sie ein wenig voneinander abzuheben. Die Fenster habe ich alles blau eingefärbt. 

Die Stadt-Szene habe ich dann mit der Schere ausgeschnitten und den kleinen Teil, den ich weggeschnitten habe, mit einem Stück Cardstock hinterlegt. Den habe ich mit Salvaged Patina, Stormy Sky und Chipped Sapphire gewischt. Dann habe ich den Mond aus dem Doogies Halloween Set aufgeklebt und  die Häuser davorgesetzt. Die Sterne habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt. 

 

The background on this card is completly stamped: I stamped the City Street Background  with black ink onto light grey cardstock. I first shaded everything from the bottom up with Distress Ink Hickory Smoke and a bit of Black Soot. Then I used grey alcohol markers to very simply shade some parts of the houses and the street, just to  make them look a bit different and have some contrast between the different parts of the scene. The windows I colored blue.

I  cut out the city scene and put a piece  of cardstock behind the small area that I cut off. I have  inked that with Distress Ink Salvaged Patina, Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire, then glued the moon from Doggies Halloween onto it and the houses on top. The stars I drew with a white gel pen.

 

 Und unten auf der Straße spuken Hundemumien - sie überqueren die Straße brav in einer Reihe. Ich bin sicher ihr kennt alle das bekannte Plattencover von den Beatles - irgendwie erinnert mich die Szene ein wenig daran....

Die Hunde-Mumien sind aus dem Set Doggies Halloween. Ich habe sie mit Copics  coloriert und mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. 

 

And at the bottom of the card some dog mummies  are hunting the street - well, actually they  are crossing it all in one line. I am sure you call know the famous album cover by The Beatles - and somehow the scene reminds me of it.

The dog mummies are from Doggies Halloween. I colored  them  with Copics and cut them out with my scissors.

 

 Der Text auf meiner Karte ist ebenfalls aus dem Doggies Halloween Set - und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Dann habe ich ihn zerschnitten und auf der linken Seite auf die Häuser geklebt.

Auf der rechten Seite befindet sich eine Sprechblase, gemacht mit einer der Speech Bubbles - die zweite Blase darüber habe ich weggeschnitten und diese hier per Partial Diecutting verkleinert. Darauf befindet sich ein aufgestempeltes EEK - es scheint so, als hätte ein Mensch, wohl weil er nicht schlafen konnte - aus dem Fenster in die Nach geschaut und dabei die Hunde-Mumien erblickt...

Außerdem habe ich noch einige Fledermäuse auf der Karte verteilt. Die sind mit den einzelnen Fledermäusen aus dem Set Bat Reveals aus schwarzem Cardstock gemacht. 

Die Fledermäuse und die Sprechblase sind mit dünnem, die Hunde und der Text mit dickem 3D Tape hinterlegt. Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. 

 

The text on my card is also from the Doggies Halloween set - and white heat embossed onto black cardstock. I cut it apart and adhered it on the legt side onto the houses. 

On the right side I added a speech bubble, made with one of the dies from Speech Bubbles. I cut off the second bubble, that is connected to the one I  used, and did some partial die cutting to make it smaller. Onto it I stamped a EEK - looks like a human wasn't able to sleep and took a look out of his window. That's when he discovered the dog mummies...

I also added some bats to the card. They are made using the individual bats from Bat Reveals and cut from black cardstock. 

I backed the bats and the speech bubble with thin, the dogs and text with thick foam tape. Then I glued the card panel onto a white note card.

 

Die Halloween-Saison 2026 ist eröffnet

Nun, es mag Euch fast ein wenig früh erscheinen, jetzt schon an Halloween zu denken. Aber am 1. August ist offiziell die Halloween-Saison bei WhimsyStamps eröffnet worden. Und - so wie letztes Jahr - darf ich auch dieses Jahr Teil des gruselig-guten Halloweeners Design Team sein.

Well, thinking of Halloween already might seem a bit early for  some of you but WhimsyStamps officially started Halloween season on august 1st. And I am thrilled that I was asked to be part of their spookily awesome Halloweeners design team again - just like last year.

 

 Und so bin ich tatsächlich schon bereit für Halloween - oder zumindest in der richtigen Stimmung für Halloweenkarten. Und meinen ersten DT Beitrag zeige ich Euch heute:

 

And so I am ready for Halloween - or at least in a mood for Halloween cards. I am sharing with you my first DT make today:

 

 Auf der Karte habe ich einige Dinge verwendet, die nicht explizit für Halloween designed wurden. Aber mit dem richtigen Motiv kann man vieles kombinieren und Halloween-ig abwandeln.

Ich habe hier mit schwarzer Tinte auf ein Stück weißen Cardstocks das Wanted Poster  aufgestempelt. Das habe ich dann mit Distress Ink Peeled Paint und Forest Moss eingefärbt - absichtlich ein wenig fleckig. Denn diese Fahndungsplakate sehen ja nie aus wie frisch aus dem Drucker, schon gar nicht an Halloween! Dann habe ich etwas mit Wasser verdünntes Forest Moss und weiße Acrylfarbe in feinen Spritzern auf das Plakat gespritzt.

Den mittleren Teil habe ich dann herausgeschnitten, den Ausschnitt hinterlegt und den Cardstock mit dünnem 3D Tape wieder eingeklebt.

 

On this card I used a few items that were not designed with Halloween in mind. But you can combine a lot with a Halloween image and make it fit the occasion.

Here I stamped the Wanted Poster with black ink onto white cardstock. Then I inked it with Distress Ink Peeled Paint and Forest Moss - keeping it a bit splotchy because those wanted posters never look like fresh out of the press. Escpecially not on Halloween!

I finely splattered some watered down Forest Moss and also some white acrylic paint onto the cardstock. 

I cut out the center part, put some black cardstock behind the cut out and put the inner piece back in place, backing it with thin foam tape.

 

 Gefahndet wird hier natürlich nach Süßem - schön arrangiert in einem bis zum Rand gefüllten Kürbiseimer. 

Der ist aus dem Set Got Peepers, die kleinen einzelnen Süßigkeiten daneben aus dem Set Monster Halloween. Ich habe alle  Motive  mit Alcohol Markern coloriert und mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. Die Highlights und einige Muster auf den Bonbons habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht. Außerdem habe ich einige Teile mit goldenen Stickles beglittert. 

Links neben dem Kürbiseimer habe ich einen kleinen Text aus Doggies Halloween angebracht. Der passte hier so toll dazu. Er ist weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und in zwei Teile zerschnitten. 

 

Of course the most wanted thing on Halloween is candy - here nicely arranged in a jack-o-lantern, filled to the brim. 

The candy bucket is from Got Peepers, the individual candy around it from Monster Halloween. I colored all images with alcohol markers and cut them out with my scissors. I used a white gel pen to add the highlights and a few patterns to the candy. I also added gold Stickles to a few of them.

On the left side of the candy bucket I added a small text from Doggies Halloween. It goes just perfectly with the image. I white heat embossed it onto black cardstock and cut it into two pieces.

 

 Bei Abstempeln des Fahndungsplakats habe ich die angebotene Belohnung wegmaskiert und statt dessen im unteren Teil der Karte "sweet or sour" aufgeschrieben, angelehnt an das bekannte "dead or alive". Ich habe die beiden Worte mit dem Mix and Mingle Alphabet and Numbers set aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und die oberen Teile der Buchstaben mit goldenen Stickles beglittert. Das habe ich übrigens auch mit den Buchstaben des Worts "wanted" oben am Poster getan. 

Ich habe die Buchstaben unten auf das Plakat geklebt und dazwischen ein kleines OR aus dem Text Trick or Treat aus Got Peepers mit schwarzer Tinte dazwischen gestempelt.

 

When stamping the Wanted Poster I masked off the reward that's included at the bottom of the poster and replaced it with a "sweet or sour" text, in reference to the well known "dead or alive". I used the Mix and Mingle Alphabet and Numbers die set to cut the letters from black cardstock and added some gold Stickles to their top. I also added some to the word "wanted" at the top of the poster. 

I glued the letters to the bottom of the poster and stamped a little OR from the text trick or treat from Got Peepers between them.

 

 Ich habe das Poster auf ein Stück orangefarbenes Designpapier geklebt, die Ränder des Papiers habe  ich ein wenig mit Black Soot gewischt. Als  Deko habe ich einige orangefarbene Pailetten auf dem Poster verteilt. 

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling angebracht.

 

I adhered the poster to a piece of orange patterned paper, the edges I have inked with a bit of Black Soot. As decoration I added some orange sequins.

Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Wie Ihr seht habe ich 3D Tape zwischen die einzelnen Lagen der Karte gesetzt. Falls Ihr Euch aber wundert, warum der Kürbis gar so weit hochsteht, hier ist der Grund:

 

As you can see I did use foam tape to put the card together. But in case you wonder why the candy bucket is so high on the card, here's the reason:

 

 Ich konnte einfach nicht anders, als einen Action Wobbler hinter den Kürbiseimer zu setzen. Das Wackeln auf dem Foto einzufangen war extrem schwierig und man sieht es nur an den Süßigkeiten. Aber das fand ich hier einfach absolut passend.

Ich habe den Action Wobbler durch ein Loch in der Mitte des Posters gesteckt, das ich dann ja mit 3D Tape zusammengesetzt habe. So steht der Kürbis nicht gar so extrem weiter heraus als der Rest der Karte.

 

I just couldn't resis adding an Action Wobbler here. It was really hard to catch the movement on picture and you can only tell is from looking at the candy. But it felt so right here.

I put the Action Wobbler through a hole in the center of the poster, then put that together with foam tape to avoid the pumpkin standing too tall compared to the rest of the card.

Das Thema der SimonSaysStamp IG Challenge im März ist "monochrom". Nun mag es zwar fast ein wenig offensichtlich sein, da eine Trauerkarte zu machen, denn schwarz/weiß bzw. Grautöne ist ja meist das erste, das einem da in den Sinn kommt. Aber nach einem Todesfall in der Familie fühlte es sich für mich richtig an.

The theme of the march IG challenge by SimonSaysStamp is "monochrome". It may be a bit obvious to make a sympathy card as the entry,  because black and white or shades of grey is the first thing that might come to mind. But after the death of a familiy member it just felt right to me.

 

Ich habe hier ein Stück  hellgrauen Cardstocks für den Hintergrund verwendet und darauf dann mit hellgrauer Tinte einen Trauertext von Efco  aufgestempelt. Ich habe ihn zweimal nebeneinander gestempelt, die Naht wird von der Deko verdeckt.

Dann habe ich schwarze Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. 

 

Here I used a piece of light grey cardstock for the background and stamped a sympathy text onto it using light grey ink. I stamped it two times next to each other, the seam is covered by the decorations. 

Then I added fine splatters of black acrylic paint.

 

Die Deko habe ich mittig auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Ich glaube, es war letztes Jahr, als Kelly Taylor eine Osterkarte gemacht hat, für die sie aus den Holzteilen des Wood Frame Builder Sets von HoneyBeeStamps ein Kreuz zusammengesetzt hat. Die Idee hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich sie hier nachgemacht habe. Ich habe die Holzteile aus grauem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Ohuhu Markern schattiert. Dann habe ich einen weißen Polychromo flach über den Cardstock gerieben, so dass die Maserung besser hervorkommt, und alles zu einem Kreuz zusammengesetzt.

Hinter das Kreuz habe ich einen runden Rahmen aus schwarzem Cardstock gesetzt, gestanzt aus schwarzem Cardstock mit einer der Stitched Circle Frames von Create a Smile.

Außerdem habe ich ein schwarzes Band über das Kreuz gehängt. Das habe ich aus - etwas gekürzten - Teilen des Vorhangs aus dem Take the Stage Set von MFT aus dunkelgrauem Cardstock gestanzt und ebenfalls mit Ohuhus schattiert. 

 

I attached the decorations centered onto the background. I think it was last year, that Kelly Taylor made an easter card where she used  the wooden pieces from Wooden Frame Builder by HoneyBeeStamps to put together a cross. I liked that idea so much that I copied it formy card. I cut the wooden pieces from grey cardstock and shaded them with Ohuhu markers. Then I used a white Polychromo and dragged it flat over the cardstock to bring out the pattern more and glued everything together to form the cross.

Behind the cross I put a round frame, cut from black cardstock using one of the Stitched Circle Frames by Create a Smile. 

I also draped some black "fabric" over the cross. I created that from some - a bit shortened - pieces from the curtains from Take the Stage by MFT, cutting them from dark grey carstock and shading them with Ohuhu again.

 

 Das Kreuz habe ich dann mit Lilien dekoriert, die ich in echt nicht wirklich mag. Nicht wegen Ihrer Form, sondern wegen des Geruchs. Trotzdem sind sie, neben Callas, die absoluten Trauerblumen für mich. 

Hier habe ich den Flower Lilly Stempel von WhimsyStamps benutzt und die Blüten nach dem Colorieren einzeln ausgeschnitten. Ich habe  sie  mit grauer Tinte abgestempelt, das lässt die Motive weicher erscheinen, und sie dann fast No-Line mit Ohuhus coloriert. 

Der Text darunter ist aus dem With Sympathy Stempelset von AveryElle. Mir  ist klar, dass ich hier deutschen Text im Hintergrund und englisch für  den eigentlichen Text gemischt habe. Aber mir macht das nichts, und so kleine deutsche Trauertexte fehlen mir. Die finde ich alle zu groß. Ich habe den Text hier weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

 

I decorated the cross with lilies, that I don't really like in real life. Not because of their look but their smell. And still, besides Calla they are the perfect sympathy flowers to me.

Here I used the Flower Lilly stamp by WhimsyStamps and cut the flowers out individually after coloring them. I stamped them with grey ink, that makes the images softer, and then colored them with Ohuhu  markers. They nearly look like No-Line coloring.

The text underneath is from With Sympathy by AveryElle. I know that I mixed a german text in the background with an english main text. But it doesn't bother me, and I am really  missing small  german sympathy texts like that. These are all too large  for my taste. I white heat embossed the text onto black cardstock.

 

 Ich habe das Kreuz mit 3D  Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt und dann auch die Blumen damit auf  dem Kreuz befestigt. Als Deko habe ich dann noch einige schwarze Perlen auf der Karte verteilt und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I adhered the cross with foam tape to the background and then also backed the flowers with foam tape. I added some black pearls as decoration and glued the card panel to a white note card.

Heute habe ich eine weitere Karte mit Stanzen aus dem Januar-Release von Concord and 9th für Euch. Ich war sofort in die Pommes samt Box verliebt - und die Wortspiele im dazugehörigen Stempelset sind ja absolut meins. Also machen wir mir dieser Karte einen Abstecher in das Land des Fast Food.

Today I have another card using dies from Concord and 9th's january release. I immediately fell in love with the french fries die set - and the puns in the matching stamp set are right down my alley. So with this card we are taking a trip into the world of fast food.

 

Wie so viele, verbinde ich mit Pommes die Farben rot, weiß und gelb. Ob das an der Kombi Pommes, Ketchup und Mayo oder doch eher an den Farben einer bekannten Fast Food Kette liegt, kann ich nicht so genau sagen. 

Den Hintergrund habe ich mit den Layered Sunburst Stencils von PinkFresh gemacht die es in verschiedenen Formaten gibt. Ich habe das Set in A2-Größe benutzt. Basis war hellgelber Cardstock, auf den habe ich dann Strahlen mit Distress Ink Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade und Candied Apple aufgetragen. Auf die Enden der Strahlen kam noch ein wenig Fired Brick. Die Strahlen überlagern sich teilweise und an manchen Stellenist noch die Originalfarbe des Cardstocks zu sehen. 

Auf den Hintergrund habe ich dann erst Wasser und dann weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

Mittig auf den Cardstock habe ich dann diese "Blasenform", wie man sie aus Comics kennt, aufgeklebt. Sie ist der Rest des Comic Cover A2 von WhimsyStamps. Ich habe ein schwarzes und ein weißes Stanzteil leicht versetzt aufeinander und dann beides auf den Hintergrund geklebt. So heben sich die Pommes samt Box später besser vom Hintergrund ab. Außerdem finde ich, dass die Form super zum Design der Karte passt. 

 

Like many I have to think of the color combo of red, white and yellow when I think of french fries. I can't tell if that's because of french fries with ketchup and maionaise or because of the colors of a well known fast food brand.

For the background I used the Layered Sunburst Stencils by PinkFresh for the background. They are available in different sizes, I used the A2 ones. I started with a piece of light yellow cardstock and inked the rays on using Distress Ink Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Candied Apple. Onto the ends of the red rays I applied a bit of Fired Brick. The rays overlay each other, in some spots there's still the original color of the cardstock visible.

I first splattered some droplets of water, then some white acrylic paint onto the cardstock.

Onto the center of the cardstock I glued this "bubble", that's known from the world of comics. It's the left over piece from the Comic Cover A2 by WhimsyStamps. I stacked a black and a white die cut a bit offset and then glued both onto the background. This way the fries and box are visible more clearly on the background and I also think, the shape goes great with the card design. 

 

 Hier ist die Pommes-Box samt Inhalt aus dem So Fry-Tastic Stanzenset von Concord and 9th/Kristina Werner. Ich bekomme Hunger, wenn ich die Karte ansehe!

Die Box habe ich aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics leicht schattiert. Dann habe ich sie ein weiteres Mal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und daraus mit der Schere zwei Streifen, angepasst an die Form der Box, ausgeschnitten. Mit denen habe ich die Box dekoriert, damit sie nicht gar so nackt aussieht. 

Die Pommes in der Box bestehen aus fünf verschiedenen Lagen, die alle als einzelne Stanzen im Set enthalten sind. Außerdem gibt es noch zwei einzelne Pommes. Ich habe alles aus zwei verschiedenen Tönen hellgelben Cardstocks gestanzt und dann mit Copics schattiert. Die "Kante" habe ich dann mit einem hellbraunen Polychromo aufgemalt. Außerdem habe ich etwas Distress Ink Gathered Twigs mit ein wenig Wasser gemischt und aufgespritzt. Die Idee mit dem "Salz" kommt von Jennifer McGuire. Ich habe winzige Tropfen Kleber auf die Pommes aufgetragen und dann etwas von dem Clear Rock Candy Glitter von Tim Holtz aufgestreut.

I cut the box from red cardstock and shaded it with Copics. Then I cut it again from white cardstock and used my scissors to cut out two strips of that white die cut, making them match the shape of the box. I used these to decorate the box so it's not just plain red.

 The fries in the box are made from 5 layers, that are all included in the die set as individual dies. There are also two single fries included. I cut all of them from two different shades of light yellow cardstock and shaded them with Copics. The "edges" I added with a light brown Polychromo. I also mixed a bit of Distress Ink Gathered Twigs with a bit of water and splattered it onto the fries. The idea of adding "salt" is by Jennifer McGuire. I applied tiny drops of liquid glue to the fries and then sprinkled some of the Clear Rock Candy glitter by  Tim Holtz into the glue.

 

 Auch das ausgestanzte Wort Fries ist aus dem Stanzenset. Ich habe zwei Lagen gelben Cardstocks aufeinander geklebt und alles it einer Lage aus schwarzem Cardstock als Schatten hinterlegt. Es gibt eine Shadow Layer für die großen Worte, aber das war mir hier zu plakativ. Statt des I-Punkts habe ich ein weißes Herz aufgeklebt.

Die kleinen Textteile sind aus dem So Fry-Tastic Stempelset und einfach weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.  Und weil mein Mann das Wortspiel nicht sofort verstanden hat, es bezieht sich natürlich auf "I only have eyes for you". ;)

An die untere Kante der Pommesbox habe ich dann noch die beiden einzelnen Pommes geklebt.

 

Also the die cut word "fries" is from the die set. I stacked two layers of yellow cardstock and then added a black word behind them as a shadow layer. There is a larger shadow layer for the words included in the set, but that would have covered to much of the box here. Instead of the dot on the i I used a white clay heart.

The smaller texts are fro the So Fry-Tastic stamp set and simply heat embossed white onto black cardstock. 

Onto the bottom of the box I then glued the two individual fries.

 

 Die Pommesbox ist mit 3D Tape auf die weiße Blase geklebt, dann habe ich damit auch die Blase samt Deko auf dem Hintergrund angebracht. 

Rund um die Deko habe ich einige schwarze Glitzersteine verteilt, dann den dekorierten Cardstock schwarz gemattet und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I glued the box of fries to the white bubble with foam tape, then used more tape to adhere the bubble with the decoration onto the background.

I added some black rhinestones around the image, then matted the card panel black and adhered it to a white note card.

 

All is calm, all is bright

Heute habe ich eine weitere, farblich nicht ganz traditionelle Weihnachtskarte für Euch. Aber ich hatte all die Sterne von einer meiner letzten Karten übrig. Und auch wenn ich nicht der "Schipsel-Aufhebe-Typ" bin, die Sterne haben doch irgendwie "nutze uns" gerufen. Es ist zwar offensichtlich nur einer davon auf der Karte gelandet, eigentlich sind es aber 6 Stück, die ich aufeinander geklebt habe.

Today I have another not so traditional in color christmas card for you. I had all those die cut stars left over from one of my last cards. I am usually not the "keep/re-use all the scraps" type of crafter, but those stars seem to be screaming "use us" at me. It looks like I only used one here, but there are actually 6 of them, that I stacked.

 

 Ich habe hier zwei verschiedene Embossingfolder verwendet: den Tall Pines von SimonSaysStamp und den Snowflakes Frame von Darice. Mit beiden habe ich schwarzen Cardstock embosst.

Der Cardstock mit den eingeprägten Bäumen befindet sich im Hintergrund. Ich habe mit einem weißen Stempelkissen, das ich über den Cardstock gezogen habe, die Bäume etwas hervorgehoben. Außerdem habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

Aus dem Cardstock, den ich mit den Schneeflocken geprägt habe, habe ich eines der Stained Glass Windows von WhimsyStamps ausgestanzt. Außerdem habe ich mit der nächst größeren Stanze und einer Schere einen dünnen Rahmen aus Vellum geschnitten und um das Fenster geklebt. Auf die Schneeflocken habe ich außerdem ein ganz klein wenig eisblauen Gilding Waxes aufgetupft. 

 

I used two different embossing folders on this card: Tall Pines by SimonSaysStamp and the Snowflakes Frame by Darice. I used both two emboss two pieces of black cardstock.

The cardstock with the embossed trees is in the background. I dragged a white ink pad over the trees to bring out the trees a bit more. I also splattered white acrylic paint onto this panel.

From the cardstock, that I embossed the snowflakes into, I die cut one of the Stained Glass Window dies by WhimsyStamps. I used the next larger die and my scissors to create a thin frame from vellum and glued that around the window. Onto the snowflakes a put down a tiny bit of an icy blue Gilding Wax.  

 

 In das Fenster habe ich dann drei Tannen geklebt. Die sind mit dem Stanzenset Adventstürchen Tannenbaum von CreativeDepot gemacht. Ich habe sie aus grau-grünem Cardstock gestanzt und von unten ein wenig mit Distress Ink Iced Spruce gewischt. Dann habe ich sie mit Snow Flock im oberen Teil beschneit. 

Ich habe die Bäume innerhalb des Fensters auf den Hintergrund geklebt und die schon erwähnten gestackten Sterne über dem größten Baum aufgeklebt. Die kleineren Bäume sind jeweils mit einem kleinen Stern an der Spitze geschmückt.

 

I glued three pine trees into the window. I used the Adventstürchen Tannenbaum by CreativeDepot to cut them from grey-green cardstock and inked the bottom with a bit of Distress Ink Iced Spruce. Then I covered the top with some Snow Flock.

I adhered the trees inside the window and placed the large stacked  star, that I already mentioned, above the large tree. The smaller ones I decorated with a small star on the top.

 

 Im unteren Bereich habe ich dann noch einen der Ilexzweige aus dem Stempelset Weihnachtsbaum schräg über  den Rahmen geklebt. Den habe ich schwarz auf grau-grünen Cardstock gestempelt und mit Copics schön gedeckt coloriert. Nach dem Ausschneiden habe ich die Ilexblätter mit Distress Clear Rock Candy Glitter ein wenig gerfrostet und auf die Beeren Glossy Accents aufgetragen.

Der Text ist aus einem Stempelset von SU. Eigentlich hatte ich es schon aussortiert, dann durfte es aber zurück und ich habe es seitdem schon einige Male benutzt. Der Text ist weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

Außerdem habe ich mit der Christmas Word Stanze von WhimsyStamps aus Vellum noch das Wort Christmas ausgestanzt und quer über die Tannen geklebt.

 

In the lower area I glued a branch with holly leaves from the Weihnachtsbaum stamp set by CreativeDepot across the frame. I stamped that onto grey-green cardstock and colored it in muted colors using my Copics. After cutting the branch out I added some Distress Clear Rock Candy Glitter onto the tips of the leaves to give them a frosty look and applied some Glossy Accents on top of the berries.

The text is from an older set by SU. I had already purged that but than brought it back and have used it several times since. I white heat embossed the text onto black cardstock.

I also used the Christmas Word die by WhimsyStamps  to cut the word christmas from vellum and glued that across the trees.

 

 Die Tannen sind mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Das befindet sich auch hinter den Texten. Den Ilexzweig habe ich mit dickem, den Cardstock mit dem Fenster sogar mit aufgedoppeltem dickem Cardstock angeklebt.

Ich habe als Deko einige hellblaue irisierende Glitzersteine aufgeklebt, die auch dazu dienen, den Kleber hinter dem Vellum-Rahmen zu verstecken. 

Dann habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I used thin foam tape to adhere the trees to the background and also put some of it behind the text. To glue down the holly branch I used thick foam tape and even doubled it up behind the cardstock with the cut out window. 

I added a few light blue rhinestones as decoration, that also help hiding the glue behind the vellum frame.

Then I attached the card panel to a white note card.

Heute habe ich eine Window Shaker Weihnachtskarte für Euch. Ideengeber für die Kartenart war, mal wieder, Jennifer McGuire. Ende Oktober hatte sie ein Video für dafür gepostet und ich wollte sie unbedingt ausprobieren.

Today I have a window shaker christmas card to share. Once again I've seen this type of card in a video of Jennifer McGuire. She postet it end of october and I really wanted to try it.

 

 Wie der Name schon verrät, ist hier ein Shaker in die Karte eingebaut. Allerdings ist der vorne und hinten durchsichtig, so dass man, wie durch ein Fenster, das Innere der Karte sehen kann.

Ich habe hier einen oben gefalteten Kartenrohling aus weißem Cardstock als Basis verwendet und aus ihm sowie einem etwas kleineren Stück olivgrünen Cardstocks jeweils das zweitgrößte der Nesting Piercing Ticket Frames  von WaffleFlower ausgestanzt. 

Den grünen Cardstock habe ich mit etwas Distress Ink Forest Moss gewischt und dann weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

 

As the name says already there is a shaker included in this card. But it's clear on the front and back so, just like through a window, you can see the inside of the card through it.

I used a top folded white note card for my base and cut the second largest Nesting Piercing Ticket Frames by WaffleFlower from it and a slightly smaller piece of olive green cardstock.

I shaded the green cardstock lightly with Distress Ink Forest Moss and then splattered white acrylic paint onto it. 

 

 Auf die vordere Folien-Lage des Shakers habe ich die Ilexblätter aus dem Vintage Poinsettia Stempelset von WhimsyStamps mit silbernem Glitter-Embossingpulver aufembosst - einmal oben und einmal unten. Die Beeren habe ich von der Rückseite her mit einem weißen Acrylmarker ausgefüllt.

Ich habe den Shaker mit klaren, hellgrünen und silber-weißen Mini-Perlen gefüllt. 

Die untere Lage der Folie versteckt sich unter dem grünen Cardstock, als oberen Abschluss habe ich einen weiteren der Ticket Frames aufgeklebt. Den habe ich aus silbernem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt. 

 

I heat embossed the holly leaves from the Vintage Poinsettia stamp set by WhimsyStamps with silver glitter embossing powder onto the top acetate layer of the shaker - I stamped the image once onto the top and once onto the bottom of the acetate. I filled the berries with a white acrylic marker, putting the paint onto the back of the acetate.

I filled the shaker with clear, light green and silver-white micro beads.

The bottom acetate layer of the shaker is hidden behind the green cardstock, as the top layer of the shaker I cut another of the ticket frames from silver glitter cardstock.

 

 Ich habe den Ticket-Rahmen nicht ganz mittig aus meiner Karte, sondern etwas nach unten versetzt gestempelt. So blieb oben am Rahmen genug Platz für eine große Schleife. Die ist eine Kombi aus einer der Schleifen aus dem Geschenkbänder und Schleifen Set sowie den Enden der Großen Schleife, beides von Charlie und Paulchen. Die kringeln sich so schön nach unten und verdecken auch das obere Motiv nicht so, wie die zur Schleife gehörenden Enden.

Ich habe die Teile aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, mit Copics schattiert und auf den Rahmen geklebt. Die Schleifenteile habe ich dabei etwas mit dem Finger gerundet.

 

I didn't cut the ticket frame centered from my card but moved it a bit down. Now there was room for a bow at the top. The bow is a combination from one of the bows from Geschenkbänder and Schleifen  and the ends of the Große Schleife set, both by Charlie und Paulchen. Those ends curl up so nicely and they also don't cover as much of the holly leaves at the top as the regular ends, coming with the bow die, does.

I cut the pieces from white cardstock, shaded them with Copics and adhered them to the frame. Before putting the bow together I rounded the pieces slightly with my fingernail.

 

 Im unteren Bereich habe ich quer über den Shaker meinen Text geklebt.

Das Wort Christmas ist aus dem Stanzenset Christmas Season von Altenew. Ich habe es einnmal aus weißem und einmal aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und die Teile aufeinander sowie auf den Shaker geklebt. Den I-Punkt habe ich durch eine weiße Perle ersetzt und zwei weitere, kleinere darüber angeklebt.

Das kleine Greetings darunter ist aus dem Set Itty Bitty Holidays von MFT und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

 

In the lower half I adhered my text all across the shaker.

The word christmas I from the Christmas Season die set by Altenew. I cut it from white and dark green cardstock, stacked them and adhered them across the shaker. I replaced the dot above the I with a white pearl and added two more right above the first one.

The small greetings is from Itty Bitty Holidays by MFT and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

 

 Es ist wirklich schwer, die glitzernden Motive auf dem Shaker zu fotografieren, er reflektiert wirklich stark. Aber ich denke, Ihr könnt es erahnen.

Mit einem silbernen Gelstift habe ich noch einen Rahmen entlang des äußeren Bereichs des grünen Cardstocks sowie des Shakers aufgemalt.

 

It's really hard to take a picture of the glittery images on top of the shaker, everything is just reflecting the light too much. But I'm sure you can kind of see it.

I used a silver gel pen to draw a frame along the outer edge of the green cardstock and also the shaker.

 

 So sieht die geöffnete Karte aus - und hier sieht man den durchsichtigen Shaker echt gut. 

Den weißen Ticket-Rahmen, den ich aus der Kartenbasis gestanzt habe, habe ich von innen gegen die hintere Folie geklebt, um das 3D Tape, das ich für den Shaker brauchte, zu verdecken.

 

This is the opened card - and you can see the see-through shaker pretty well here.

From the inside I glued the white ticket frame, that I had cut from the front of my card base, onto the back acetate piece of the shaker to hide the foam tape I had used to create my shaker.

 

 Den Cardstock, der durch den Shaker sichtbar ist, könnt Ihr hier sehen.

Ich habe ein Stück hellgrünen Cardstocks mit Distress Ink Peeled Paint schattiert und dann mit weißer Pigment-Tinte den Christmas Background von MFT aufgestempelt. 

Im unteren Bereich habe ich ein weiteres Ilex-Motiv aus dem selben Stempelset wieder mit silbernem Glitter-Embossing-Pulver aufembosst und die sichtbaren Beeren weiß ausgefüllt.

Auch der Text im Inneren ist aus dem Itty Bitty Holidays Set von MFT. Ich habe hier das Wort Christmas, das sich ja schon auf der Vorderseite befindet, durch ein Season eines anderen Texts ersetzt. 

Den schwarzen Streifen mit dem weiß aufembossten Text habe ich dann quer über den grünen Cardstock geklebt. Er ist durch den Shaker ein wenig zu sehen, wird aber doch recht gut from gestanzten Wort verdeckt.

Mit einem silbernen Gelstift habe ich auch hier einen Rahmen aufgemalt.

 

This is the cardstock, that's visible through the shaker. 

I shaded a piece of light green cardstock with Distress Ink Peeled Paint and stamped the Christmas Background by MFT with white pigment ink onto it.

In the lower area I stamped another holly leaves image from the same set onto the cardstock. I heat embossed it with the silver glitter cardstock and again filled the berries white.

The text on the inside is again from Itty Bitty Holidays by MFT I replaced the word christmas, that I already used on the front of the card, with the word season from another text of the set. I  glued the black cardstock strip with the white heat embossed text across the green cardstock. It's slightly visible through the shaker but the die cut word hides it pretty well.

Again I used a silver gel pen to draw a frame onto the cardstock.

 

 Und wenn Ihr Euch jetzt fragt, wo denn hier Platz für einen persönlichen Text ist: auch daran hat Jennifer gedacht. Der grüne Cardstock ist nämlich auf einer weiteren, aber etwas kleineren, oben gefalteten Karte angebracht. Darin ist dann genug Platz für persönliche Worte.

 

And if you wonder where you can add a personal text here: Jennifer also thought of that. The green cardstock is adhered to another, slighliy smaller top folding note card. Inside of it you have plenty of room to write some personal words.
