Heute zeige ich Euch eine weitere Karte mit LawnFawn-Produkten. Sie ist mein Beitrag zur LawnFawnatics Challenge #222 "thank you for being a friend". Gefragt sind Karten mit einem Dankes- oder Freundschafts-Thema oder man kombiniert gleich beide. Ich habe mich für Freundschaft entschieden und diese tropische Szene gestaltet.

Today I am sharing with you another card using LawnFawn products. It's  my entry for the LawnFawnatics challenge #222 "thank you for being a friend". We are asked to make cards with a thank you or a friendship theme - or you can combine both. I decided to go with a friendship theme and made this tropical scene.

 

 In den letzten Tagen hat man vermehrt Karten mit einem Hula-tanzenden Pinguin von Spellbinders gesehen. Und der hat mich hier inspiriert. 

 

In the last days I've seen several cards with a hula dancing penguin by Spellbinders and it inspired me to make my own version of it.

 

 Den Himmel habe ich auf weißem Cardstock gestaltet und dafür das Beach Sunset Stencil Set verwendet. Erst habe ich die Sonnenreflektion auf dem Meer mit Distress Ink Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold und Crackling Campfire aufgewischt und dann klares Embossingpulver mit goldenen Glitzerpartikeln aufgetragen. So konnte ich rundum das Meer mit Seedless Preserves, Villainous Potion und Chipped Sapphire wischen.

Die Sonne und den Himmel habe ich dann mit Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold, Crackling Campfire, Barn Door und Seedless Preserves gestaltet. 

Aus schwarzem Cardstock habe ich den Tropical Backdrop gestanzt und dann nur die beiden Palmen verwendet. Der Hintergrund ist ja im Querformat gestaltet, ich habe meine Karten aber im Hochformat gemacht. Die Highlights auf den Palmen habe ich, passend zum Sonnenuntergang, mit einem goldenen Gelstift gemacht. Außerdem habe ich mit Versafine Nocturne drei Vögel aus dem Set Life is Good vor die Sonne gestempelt.

 

I created the sky on a piece of white cardstock and used the Beach Sunset stencil set for it. 

First I inked the light reflections on the water with Distress Ink Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold and Crackling Campfire and then covered it with clear embossing powder with gold glitter pieces in it. This way I was able to created the sea around it with Seedless Preserves, Villainous Potion and Chipped Sapphire. 

The sun and the sky I created with Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold, Crackling Campfire, Barn Door and Seedless Preserves.

From black cardstock I die cut the Tropcial Backdrop and then only used the palm trees from it. The die is created in a landscape orientation but I wanted  my card to be portrait. I used a gold gel pen to draw the highlights onto the palm trees, it goes perfectly with the sunset.  I also used Versafine Nocturne to stamp three birds from Life is Good in front of the sun.

 

Die beiden Pinguine, die da so fröhlich am Strand tanzen, sind aus dem Set Penguin Party. Ich habe ihnen Blätterröcke angezogen. Für die habe ich die Blätterlagen aus dem Bamboo Forest Backdrop  Landscape einige  Male aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, coloriert und zu einem Rock zusammengeklebt. Den oberen Rand habe ich mit der Schere etwas abgeschnitten. 

Die Cocktails, die die beiden in der Hand halten, sind aus dem Set Plan On It Vacation, die Sterne am Rockbund - ebensoo wie die Muscheln, die ich im Sand versteckt habe, aus On the Beach. Außerdem tragen die beiden Blumenkränze auf dem Kopf. Die sind eigentlich kleine Schneeflocken aus Penguin Party.

Als Boden habe ich mit der Stitched Wavy Backdrop Landscape Sandlagen aus braunem Cardstock gestanzt. Ich habe sie mit Distress Ink Gathered Twigs und Ground Espresso gewischt und dann weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. 

Im Hintergrund stecken noch zwei Fackeln im Sand. Die habe ich mit dem Bambusstab aus Bamboo Forest Backdrop Landscape und dem Cocktail zusammengesetzt. Die Flammen darin sind aus Let's BBQ. 

 

The two penguins, that are happily dancing on the beach, are from Penguin Party. I dressed them in skirts made from leaves. I die cut the individual leaves from Bamboo Forest Backdrop Landscape several times from white cardstock and colored them. To the brim I added a star fish, that and the seashells I tucked into the sand, are from On the Beach. The two penguins are  also  wearing flower wreaths on their heads. Those flowers are made using the small snowflakes from Penguin Party.

As the ground I die cut the Stitched Wavy Backdrop Landscape from brown cardstock to create some sand layers. I inked  them with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso and then added fine splatters of white acrylic paint.

In the background I tucked two torches into the sand. I made those combining the bamboo stalk from Bamboo Forest Backdrop Landscape and  the cocktail glass. The flames are from Let's BBQ.

 

 Für den Text habe ich das Aloha aus dem neu-aufgelegten Wish You Were Here, Too Set mit weißem Embossingpulver direkt auf den Sand embosst. 

Das Wort Friend ist mit der Scripty Friends Stanze gemacht, das S am Ende habe ich mit der Schere weggeschnitten. Ich habe es zweimal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und eine Lage mit Scattered Straw, Crackling Campfire und Seedless Preserves eingefärbt. Dann habe ich beide Lagen leicht versetzt aufeinander geklebt. Als I-Punkt habe ich eine weitere  Muschel benutzt. 

 

For the text I white heat embossed the Aloha from the re-released Wish You Were Here, Too set directly onto the sand.

The word friend is made using the Scripty Friends die, I cut off  the S at the end with my scissors. I cut it twice from white cardstock and inked one of them with Distress Ink Scattered Straw, Crackling Campfire and Seedless Preserves, then stacked the two words a bit offset. Instead  of the dot on the I I used another seashell.

 

 Ich habe alle Lagen für die Szene direkt aufeinander geklebt und dann mit dünnem 3D Tape einen Rahmen aus schwarzem Cardstock um alles gesetzt. Da meine Karte nach deutschem Format gestaltet ist, für das die Stanzen in amerikanischen Größen nicht passen, habe ich den Rahmen mit dem Cutter zugeschnitten.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I glued all the layers for the scene directly onto each other, then put a frame from black cardstock around it using thin foam tape. Since my card is made in a german card size, and the dies made for the american size don't fit, I simply cut the frame with my paper cutter.

Then I adhered  the card panel to a white note card.

Enjoy life, no matter if there's rain or sunshine. The little geese on today's card are showing you how to do it. 

 

Auf dieser Karte kamen wieder Produkte vom letzten LawnFawn-Release zum Einsatz. 

Der Hintergrund besteht aus zwei Stücken blau-grauen Cardstocks. In einen habe ich mit der Rainy Day Backdrop Portrait Stanze Regentropfen hineingeprägt. Aus dem anderen habe ich ein Fenster geschnitten, das so groß ist, dass das zweitgrößte der Reverse Stitched Rectangles so dahinter passt, dass der gestitchte Rand noch zu sehen ist. 

 

On this card I used products from the latest LawnFawn release again.

The background is made from two pieces of grey-ish blue cardstock. From one I cut the Rainy Day Backdrop Portrait to create the raindrops. From the other one I cut a window, making it large enough so the second largest of the Reverse Stitched Rectangles fits into it and the stitched edge is still visible. 

Das Fenster habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und hinter das Fenster das geklebt. Es bildet buchstäblich den Rahmen für meine Szene. In der waren die beiden Gänse gerade beim gemeinsamen Spaziergang, als es zu regnen anfing. Sie tragen zwar Gummistiefel und eine sogar eine Regenjacke, an einen Schirm hat aber keine gedacht. Aber hey, das tut der guten Laune doch keinen Abbruch! Eine Blüte, umgedreht auf den Kopf gesetzt, gibt einen tollen Regenhut. Und ein großes Gänseblümchen wird  kurzerhand zum Regenschirm....

 I cut that frame from white cardstock and glued it behind the window.  It makes the frame for my scene. Those two little geese were out on a walk together when it started raining. They are wearing their rubber boots and one of them even a rain jacket, but they didn't think of bringing an umbrella. But hey, no reason to get mad. A flower, put upside down in the head, makes a great rain hat and a daisy is the perfect substitution for an umbrella...

 

 

 

 Die linke der Gänse ist aus dem neuen Silly Goose Rain or Shine Set, die rechte aus dem Silly Goose Set. Damit die nicht ganz unvorbereitet auf den Regen trifft, habe ich die Gummistiefel der Gans links ein weiteres Mal gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und der rechten Gans angezogen. 

Beide stehen fröhlich lachend in Pfützen aus den Sets Silly Goose Rain or Shine und Beary Rainy Day - die beiden haben leicht verschiedene Größen. 

Der Regenhut der rechten Gans ist aus dem Set Big Blossom Flowers und eigentlich das Grün unter einer Knospe. Als Grün fungiert ein kleines Stück des Flower Garden Backdrops. Blume und Gummistiefel sind farblich zueinander passend coloriert - so eine Gans ist nämlich eitel und zieht nicht irgendwas an! - und die Gummistiefel habe ich mit kleinen weißen Punkten versehen.

Für den Gänseblümchen-Regenschirm habe ich einen der Stiele aus dem Big Blossom Flowers Set  - der ist etwas schmäler - mit der großen Blüte aus Big Blossom Backdrop Landscape kombiniert. Davon habe ich zwei leicht versetzt übereinander geklebt. 

Alle Motive sind mit Ohuhu-Markern coloriert, die Stanzteile habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. 

Hinter den Gänsen befindet sich noch eine Lage Gras.  

Im unteren Bereich habe ich dann auch meinen Text aufgeklebt - er befindet sich außen auf dem Rahmen. Er ist mit Stempeln aus den Sets Sweet Spiders Add-On und Silly Goose Rain or Shine zusammengesetzt und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.  

 

The goose on the left is from the new Silly Goose Rain or Shine set, the right one from Silly Goose. To let her not meet the rain completly unprepared I stamped the rubber boots of the goose on the right again, cut them out and added them to the goose on the right. 

Both geese are happily standing in puddles from Silly Goose Rain or Shine and Beary Rainy Day - they are slightly different in size.

The rain hat the right goose is wearing is made with a die from Big Blossom Flowers, that's originally meant to be the green part of a bud - as the bud I used a tiny part of the Flower Garden Backdrop. I matched the color of the flower with the one of the boots - such a goose is very vain and doesn't put on anything - and also added some white dots to the boots.

For the daisy umbrella I combined one of the stems from Big Blossom Flowers - they are a bit less thick - with the large blossom from Big Bloosom Backdrop Landscape. I glued two of these on top of each other, offsetting them a bit. 

I colored all images with Ohuhu markers and cut the die cuts from white cardstock. Behind the geese I added a layer of grass. 

In the lower area I added my text - I adhered it onto the top of the frame. I put it together from stamps from Sweet Spiders AddOn and Silly Goose Rain or Shine and white heat embossed it onto black cardstock. 

 

 

 Hinter die Regentropfen des Rainy Day Backdrops habe ich hell-aqua farbenen Cardstock gesetzt und daraus auch einige weitere Regentropfen ausgestanzt, die ich dann, passend zu den Spuren im Hintergrund, auf die Motive geklebt habe. Alle Regentropfen und auch die Pfützen habe ich dann ein wenig mit Stickles beglittert. 

Am Himmel habe ich außerdem drei kleine weiße Wolken außen auf den Rahmen geklebt. 

 

I put some light aqua cardstock behind the Rainy Day Backdrop and cut a few more raindrops from the same cardstock. I glued those onto the images, making them match the "trails" on the background. Then I put some Stickles onto the raindrops and the puddles. 

To the sky I also added a few white clouds, glueing them onto the top cardstock layer with the window cut from it.  

 

 

 Ich habe die Gänse mit dünnem, den Rahmen mit dickem 3D Tape auf den Regentropfen-Hintergrund geklebt. Auch die Wolken und Texte sind mit dünnem Tape hinterlegt. 

Mit einem schwarzen Fineliner habe ich einen Rahmen auf den oberen Cardstock gemalt und als Deko drei rote Herzen auf dem Himmel verteit. Dann habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I glued the geese with thin, the frame with thick foam tape onto the raindrop background. I also backed the clouds and text with thin tape.

With a black fineliner I drew a frame onto the top cardstock layer and added three red clay hearts to the sky as decoration. Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

Vor kurzem habe ich eine Bestellung bei TheStampMarket in den USA aufgegeben. Und das Mixer-Stanzenset war einer der Artikel, die ich gekauft habe. Hier ist meine erste Karte damit.

A little ago I placed an order with TheStampMarket in the States. The Mixer die set was one of the items I purchased and this is my first card with it.

 

Die Karte ist so hoch ausgefallen, dass ich sie kurzerhand in einen Shadow Box Frame gesetzt habe. Den Grund dafür zeige ich Euch gleich. Aber so waren die Kanten zumindest sauber und geschlossen. Den Rahmen habe ich mit dem Shadow Box Punchboard von We R Makers aus schwarzem Cardstock gemacht. 

 

The card turned out so thick that I decided to put it into a shadow box frame. You'll see why in just a second. But this way the sides were clean and closed. 

I made the frame from black cardstock using the Shadow Box Punchboard by We R Makers.  

 

 

Wie es sich für einen Standmixer gehört kann der obere Querarm natürlich nach unten gekippt werden, und so sieht die Stanze eigentlich auch aus. Ich habe das Stanzteil einfach in zwei Teile geteilt und mit einem Brad verbunden.  

Den Quirl habe ich aus einem anderen Stanzenset von Action hinzugefügt - er ist eigentlich das Ende eines Schneebesens. Aber da ich den Arm aufklappbar gemacht habe, wofür die Stanze nicht wirklich ausgelegt ist, musst da einfach was hin. 

Der Hintergrund besteht aus weißem Cardstock. Im unteren Bereich habe ich mit Distress Ink Scorched Timber einen Streifen gewischt und dann mit der selben Tinte den Woodgrain Backdrop von LawnFawn für das Holzmuster aufgestempelt. Die Küchenfliesen darüber sind mit Stempeln von BoBunny gemacht. Ich habe den Bereich erst mit Victorian Velvet gewischt und dann mit der selben Tinte das Quadrat flächenfüllend darüber gestempelt. Ein nicht perfekter Abdruck war mir ganz recht, die Fliesen sollten aussehen wie handgemacht. Deswegen habe ich auch die Fuge, die ich mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt habe, nicht mit dem Linieal gezogen.  

 I just had to make the arm of the mixer movable. Originally the die looks like the mixer on the second piece. I simply cut the main piece into two pieces and connected them with a brad.

The beater is from a different die set by Action - originally this is the end of a  whisk. But since I made the top be able to move up there had to be something. 

The background is made from a piece of white cardstock. I inked a strip at the bottom with Distress Ink Scorched Timber and then stamped the wood pattern onto it using the same ink and the Woodgrain Backdrop by LawnFawn. The tiles above the counter are made with stamps by BoBunny. I first inked the area with Victorian Velvet and then, again using the same ink, stamped the squares onto it until the cardstock was filled. I didn't mind a not so perfect image because I wanted the tiles to look like handmade. That's also why I didn't use a ruler to draw the joints with a white gel pen. 

Und hier ist nun der Grund für die extra dicke Karte. Ich musste einfach einen "elektrischen" Shaker einbauen. Sorry, den Ton im Video musste ich rausschneiden, deswegen könnt Ihr das Surren des Motors und das Rascheln des Shakers nicht hören. Aber ich hatte sowohl das Fenster offen und die Vögel waren sehr laut im Video zu hören, außerdem lief im Hintergrund ein Bastelvideo und auch hier war die Stimme klar zu hören und verstehen. 

Die Technik hinter der Karte ist gar nicht so kompliziert - wer schon mal eine LED-Karte gemacht hat, dem ist sie nicht fremd. Hier ist statt des Lichts nur ein Vibrationsmotor in den Stromkreis eingebaut. Der steckt in einem kleinen Loch im Hintergrund, oben ist die Rührschüssel aufgeklebt. Hinter dem beweglichen Arm der Küchenmaschine habe ich eine Mutter aufgeklebt, die durch ihr Gewicht beim Herunterschieben des Arms auf ein Stück Kopierpapier drückt. Auf dem ist das leitfähige Tape aufgeklebt und so wird der Stromkreis geschlossen. 

 

And this is the reason for the extra thick card. I just had to make an "electric shaker". Sorry, I had to delete the sound in the video so you can't hear the buzzing of the motor and the rustle of the shaker. But I had the window open and the birds were very loudly audible in the video. I was also running a craft video on my laptop in the background and the voice was also clearly audible. 

The technique behind this card isn't as complicated as it may seem - if you've ever made a light up card than you know the technique. I just replaced the lights with a small vibration motor. I put it through a small hole behind the bowl and glued the bowl on top. Behind the arm of the mixer I glued a small bolt. With its weight it presses down a strip of paper under the background. To that strip I glued a part of my circuit that gets closed then. 

 

 Die Küchenmaschine habe ich, passend zu den Farben auf meiner Karte, aus hellrosafarbenem Spiegel-Cardstock gestanzt und mit einigen kleinen Herzen aus dunkelrotem Spiegel-Cardstock dekoriert. Die Dekostreifen etc. sind aus mattsilbernem Metallic-Cardstock. 

Das "yum" kommt im selben Stanzenset wie der Mixer. Ich habe es aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und auf den Arm der Maschine geklebt, so dass es so aussieht, als wäre das die Herstellermarke. 

Beim Einkleben der Elemente habe ich die meisten dann nochmal mit 3D Tape hinterlegt, damit die Szene nicht flach im Rahmen liegt.  

 

Matching the colors on my card I created my mixer from light pink mirror cardstock and decorated it with a few small hearts cut from dark red mirror cardstock. The decorative elements are made from matte silver metallic cardstock.

The "yum" comes with the mixer in one die set. I die cut it from black cardstock and adhered it to the top of the mixer so it looks like it's the machine brand.

When putting the card together I backed most of the elements with foam tape to not have a flat scene in the frame. 

 

 

Die Rührschüssel ist als das Shaker-Element gestaltet und aus mattsilbernem Metallic-Cardstock gestanzt. Gefüllt ist er mit kleinen rosafarbenen und roten Herzen sowie silbernen Mini-Kügelchen. 

Beim Backen braucht man ja so allerhand Zutaten und ich schaffe es nie, alles schon während des Backens wegzuräumen. Und so stehen auch hier ein Zuckerstreuer, zwei Säcke Mehl, ein Butterstück sowie ein Löffel und ein Teigschaber neben der Maschine auf der Küchenarbeitsplatte. Die sind aus dem selben Stanzenset von Action wie der Schneebesen, den ich für den Rührer der Maschine benutzt habe,  und aus dem Stempelset Baked with Love von LawnFawn. Aus dem Set ist auch ein Teil des Textes. Ich habe das "sprinkled" aus Sprinkled with Joy mit einem "baked with love" kombiniert und alles weiß auf pinkfarbenen Cardstock embosst. 

 

I turned the bowl into a shaker element and cut it from matte silver metallic cardstock. Then I filled it with small pink and red heart confetti and some tiny silver beads.

When baking you need quite some ingridients and I never get everything put away while making the dough. So there are a sugar shaker, two bags of flour, a pack of butter, a spoon and a scraper laying around on the countertop next to the mixer. Those are all from the same die set by Action that the whisk came from and from Baked with Love by LawnFawn. From this set is also a part of my sentiment. I combined the "sprinkled" from Sprinkled with Joy with the "with love" from Baked with Love and white heat embossed the words onto pink cardstock. 

Aus dem Sending Good Vibes Stempelset von TheStampMarket ist dann der Text über dem Mixer. Bei einer vibrierenden Karte konnte ich einfach nicht anders. Allerdings fiel mir das erst nach dem Aufkleben der Küchenmaschine ein, als alles schon im Rahmen saß. Ich war also mutig und haben den ovalen Stempel einfach mit den Fingern aufgelegt und angedrückt. Der Abdruck ist nicht perfekt geworden, aber das passt zum Look der Fliesen dahinter. 

Oben an den Rand des Rahmens habe ich einen Ofenhandschuh von PapertreyInk angeklebt. Den habe ich mit einem kleinen Herz dekoriert und aus rosafarbenem und rotem Cardstock gestanzt. 

 

To the top of the frame I added a oven mitt made with a die by PapertreyInk. I decorated it with a small heart and cut it from pink and red cardstock. 

 I just had to add the "sending good vibes" from Sending Good Vibes by TheStampMarket above the mixer. It was too good to not use on a vibrating card. But I only had the idea after putting everything together and glueing it into the frame. I was courageous and just laid down the oval stamp onto the card, then pressed it down with my fingers. The impression isn't perfect but it works great with the look of the tiles. 

LawnFawnatics Challenge #221

Heute zeige ich Euch meine Karte für die  aktuelle  LawnFawnatics Challenge. Eigentlich hatte ich mir dan dem Tag gedacht, mal wieder eine Karte mit mehr Stempelmotiven machen zu wollen, denn ich hatte so richtig Lust aufs Colorieren. Das Thema lautet aber "Dies Only". Also  habe ich die Stanzen hervorgeholt und mein Vorhaben vertagt. Spaß hat es natürlich trotzdem gemacht!

Today I am sharing with you my card for the current LawnFawnatics challenge. That day I had planned to make a card with more stamped images because I was really in the mood for coloring. But the theme is "dies only". Well, I brought out my dies and moved the coloring to another day. Of course making this card was still lots of fun!

 

 Bevor  wir zur Karte kommen, muss ich aber noch meine Freude mit Euch teilen - ich habe nämlich gerade herausgefunden, dass ich die Gewinnerin der letzten Challenge bin! Und so darf ich stolz mein Badge mit Euch teilen:

 So, jetzt aber zur Karte für die neue Challenge. 

Ich habe eine Karte zum Abschluss gemacht, es ist ja gerade die Zeit dafür. Und ich hatte das Build-a-Critter Graduation Accessoires noch nicht eingeweiht hatte. 

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück grünen Designpapiers aus dem Watercolor Wishes Paper Pad. Ich habe die Ränder mit Distress Ink Mowed Lawn und Rustic Wilderness etwas abgedunkelt und dann mit dem Starry Sky Stencil und goldener Astro Paste die Sterne aufgetragen. Außerdem habe ich außen auf den Rand etwas weiße Acrylfarbe aufgeespritzt. 

Im oberen Bereich habe ich quer über die Karte eines der Banner aus Bunting Borders geklebt. Die Fähnchen habe ich aus zwei verschiedenen Tönen grünen Cardstocks gestanzt und dann ein Stück goldene Kordel als Schnur entlang des oberen Rands angebracht.  Die kleinen Fähnchen habe ich mit Copics schattiert.

 

But now on to the new challenge.

I made a graduation card, it's that time of the year again. And I still hadn't used the Build-a-Critter Graduation Accessoires die set. 

The background  is made from a green sheet from Watercolor Wishes paper pad. I inked the edges with a bit of Distress Ink Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness and then used the Starry Sky and gold Astro Paste to apply the stars. I also splattered a bit of white acrylic paint just onto the outer edges of the paper.

In the upper area I glued a banner from Bunting Borders across the card. I die cut the individual banners from two shades of green cardstock and then glued a piece of gold twine across the top as the ribbon. The small banners I did shade with Copics. 

 

 In die Mitte der Karte habe ich ein dann ein BIG gesetzt, das Teil der Giant Sending Big Hugs Stanze ist. Ich wollte unbedingt Buchstaben, denen ich die Graduation Cap aufsetzen konnte und da passte das Wort sowohl von der Größe als auch von der Bedeutung her am besten. Ich habe es aus grün gestreiftem Designpapier aus dem All the Sparkles Paper Pad ausgestanzt und die restlichen Buchstaben der Stanze rundum mit der Schere weggeschnitten. Außerdem habe ich eine Schattenlage aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock auf die selbe Weise erstellt. Die Buchstaben aus Designpapier habe ich ein wenig mit den selben Grüntönen, die ich für den Hintergrund benutzt habe, schattiert. 

Wie schon erwähnt, habe ich die Graduation Cap aus dem Build-a-Critter Graduation Accessoires Set auf das B gesetzt. Aus dem selben Set ist auch die Diplomrolle. Und auch die Krawatte  habe ich mit Stanzen aus dem Set gemacht. Dafür musste ich ein wenig um die Ecke denken: der lange Teil ist einer der beiden langen Teile des Schals/Kragens, der zum Gewand gehört, für den oberen Teil habe ich einen Teil der Schleife/Fliege benutzt. Die Teile sind aus schwarzem und weißem Cardstock gestanzt, das Band um das Diplom aus grünem Cardstock. Und die Troddel am Hut ist aus goldenem Mirror-Cardstock. 

Rechts und links habe ich Bücher platziert, die aus dem Books Collection Stanzenset sind. Ich habe sie aus grau-grünem Cardstock gestanzt, alle Teile habe ich mit Copics schattiert.  

 

 I put a large BIG into the center of the card. That's part of the Giant Sending Big Hugs die. I really wanted to have letters that are large enough to put the graduation cap onto one of them and this word fit both, size and meaning wise. I die cut it from green striped paper pad from All the Sparkles and cut the smaller letteres off with my scissors. I also created a shadowlayer from dark green cardstock the same way. The letters cut from patterned paper I lightly shaded with the same inks I had also used on the edges of the background. 

As mentioned already I used the graduation cap from Build-a-Critter Graduation Accessoires onto the B. From the same set is also the diploma. And also the necktie is made using dies from this set, I just went a bit creative here. The long part is one side of the sash, for the top part I used one half of the bow tie.  I cut the pieces from black and white cardstock, the ribbon around the diploma I cut from green cardstock. The tassle is made from gold mirror cardstock. 

To the left and right of the word BIG I added some books from Books Collection. I cut those from grey-ish green cardstock and shaded all pieces with Copics.

 

 Quer unter das Wort Big habe ich noch ein "congrats" gesetzt. Es gibt eine Congrats-Stanze, die habe ich aber nicht und sie wäre auch zu hoch gewesen. Also habe ich die Outline-Stanze des Worts Congrats aus dem Set Big Scripty Words benutzt und sie aus goldenem Mirror-Cardstock gestanzt. Das Wort ist auch so lesbar, finde ich. Auch dieses Wort habe ich mit einer Schattenlage aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock versehen. 

 

Under the word BIG I  added a "congrats". There is a congrats die, but I don't have that and it would have been too tall anyways. So I used the outline die of the word congrats from Big Scripty Words and cut it from gold mirror cardstock. I think, the word is legible like that. I added a dark green shadow layer again. 

 

 Um der Karte noch mehr Party-Charakter zu verleihen habe ich dann noch einige goldene Konfetti aufgeklebt. Die bestehen aus Kreisen aus goldenem Spiegel-Cardstock und die Idee war eigentlich mehr Zufall. Ich hatte nämlich auch eine der Brillen aus dem Build-a-Critter Graduation Accessoires Set ausgestanzt, sie dann aber nicht mit auf der Karte verwendet. Aber die kleinen Kreise aus den Mitten der Brillengläser, die eigentlich Müll sind, waren perfekt für große Konfetti. Also habe ich einige mehr davon ausgestanzt und aufgeklebt.

Das Wort BIG ist mit dünnem, das congrats mit dickem 3D Tape hinterlegt. 

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. 

 

To add an even more party like look to the card I added some gold confetti. I made thos from little circles from gold mirror cardstock and it was a random idea. I had also die cut one of the glasses from Build-a-Critter Graduation Accessoires but then didn't use it on the card. But the small inner circles of the glasses were laying on my desk and I thought, they'd make the perfect confetti. So I cut out some more of these and adhered them to the card.

The word BIG is applied with thin, the congrats with thick foam tape.

Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

Heute zeige ich Euch meine Karte für die Technique Throwback Thursday Challenge im Mai 2026. Wie immer ist ein Technik-Video von Jennifer McGuire das Thema. Diesen Monat wird darin weißer Glossy-Cardstock embosst und  dann mit Tinte  eingefärbt. Die Tinte macht den Cardstock zwar ein wenig matter, aber er glänzt immer noch toll.

Today I am sharing with you my entry for the Technique Throwback Thursday challenge of may 2026. As always the theme is a technique video by Jennifer McGuire and this month it's about dry embossing white glossy cardstock and then color it in with ink. The ink makes it a bit matte but it still has  an amazing shine.

 

Ich habe mich für diesen recht alten Embossingfolder von Cuttlebug entschieden, er erinnert mich an Riffelblech. Und so war dann auch das Thema meiner Karte recht schnell gefunden.

Ich habe den Cardstock mit dem Embossingfolder embosst und dann alles mit diveresen Dye Ink Stempelkissten von Memento, Distress Ink und SU eingefärbt. Dann habe ich die erhabenen Stellen ganz leicht mit einem Sanding Block abgeschliffen und an den Stellen ein wenig silberne Metallic-Ink aufgetragen. Außerdem habe ich etwas dunkel-silberne Metallic Watercolor auf den Hintergrund gespritzt.

 

I decided to use this quite old embossing folder by Cuttlebug, it reminds me of checker plate. And so the theme of my card was also found pretty quickly.

I dry embossed the cardstock with the embossing folder and then used all kinds of Dye Ink pads by Memento, Distress Ink and SU to color the cardstock in. I slightly sanded the raised areas with a sanding block and dabbed some silver metallic ink onto those ares. I also splattered some dark silver metallic watercolor onto the background.

 

 

 Für die Deko habe ich Produkte aus dem letzten Release von LawnFawn verwendet - bei dem Hintergrund war mir klar, dass die Karte irgendetwas mit Werkzeug zu tun haben sollte. 

Die Schublade ist aus dem Set Workshop Backdrop Portrait, die restlichen Werkzeuge und Schrauben sind aus Build-a-Toolbox. Ich habe die meisten Teile aus matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock gestanzt, die Schublade und den Griff des Schraubenziehers aus normalem gelbem Cardstock. Die gelben Teile habe ich ein wenig schattiert und dann alles am unteren Rand der Karte arrangiert. 

An die vier Ecken des Hintergrunds habe ich außerdem noch Schraubenköpfe angebracht, so als wäre der Hintergrund auf die Karte geschraubt. 

 

For the decorations I used products from the latest release by LawnFawn - with the background I knew I wanted to combine it with some tools. 

The drawer is from Workshop Backdrop Portrait, the other elements from Build-a-Toolbox. I die cut most from matte silver metallic cardstock, the drawer and the handle of the screwdriver from yellow regular cardstock. I slightly shaded the yello pieces and then arranged all the elements at the bottom of the background. 

I also added a screw to each corner of the background so it looks like it is screwed onto the card base. 

 

 

 Als Hauptelement für den Text habe ich das Giant Outlined Yay gewählt. Ich habe beide Lagen aus zwei verschiedenen Tönen gelben Cardstocks gestanzt, aufeinander geklebt und  mit einer weiteren vollflächigen Lage aus schwarzem Cardstock als Schattenlage hinterlegt. 

Der Text darunter ist mit Stempeln aus den Henry's Build a Sentiment Sets zusammengesetzt und weiß auf dunkelgrauen Cardstock embosst. Ich wollte unbedingt das Wort "screwed" mit einbauen, da es so toll zu all den Schrauben passt. Die meisten Textteile sind aus dem Set Henry's Build a Sentiment Tools, nur für das "up" musste ich einen Teil des Worts "couple" aus dem Spring Set verwenden.

Über dem Wort Yay habe ich dann noch eine kleine Sprechblase angebracht. Die ist mit einer Stanze von MamaElephant gemacht und besteht  aus einer gelben und dahinter einer schwarzen Lage. In die Sprechblase habe ich dann weiß ein kleines "you did it" aus dem Set How You Bean Money AddOn  aufembosst. Außerdem habe ich hinter das Wort Yay zwei Sterne aus silbernem Glitter-Cardstock angebracht. 

 

As the main element for my text I went with the Giant Outlined Yay. I die cut both layers from different shades of yellow cardstock, glued them togehter and backed them with another solid layer, cut from black cardstock, as a shadow layer. 

The text underneath is put together using some of the Henry's Build a Sentiment sets and white heat embossed onto dark grey cardstock. I really wanted to use the word "screwed" because it goes so great with all the actual screws on my card. Most of the words are from Henry's Build a Sentiment Tools, for the "up" I had to use part of the word "couple" from the spring set.

Above the word Yay I added a little speech bubble. It's made from a yellow and black layer using a die by Mama Elephant. Into the speech bubble I white heat embossed a small "you did it" from How You Bean Money AddOn.  I also tucked two stars, cut from silver glitter cardstock, behind the word Yay.

 

 

 Den Schraubenzieher, die Sprechblase und die beiden Textstreifen habe ich mit dünnem 3D Tape hinterlegt. 

Den dekorierten Cardstock habe ich dann schwarz gemattet und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. 

 

I backed the screwdriver, the speec bubble and both text strips with thin foam tape.

Then I matted the card panel black and adhered it to a white note card.

 

LawnFawnatics Challenge #220

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute zeige ich Euch meine Karte zur LawnFawnatics Challenge #220. Das Thema lautet "inspired by" und wie es das Thema schon erahnen lässt, soll man sich von der Karte eines anderen Bastlers inspirieren lassen.

Vor einiger Zeit hat Jennifer McGuire ein Video zu Spinner-Karten gemacht und auf einer der Karten den kleinen Maulwurf von LawnFawn samt Schubkarre im Kreis fahren lassen. Ich habe Euch das Video verlinkt, denn ich kann kein Bild ihrer Karte finden. Als ich das Video angeschaut habe, musste ich sofort an die Rasenmäher-Maus und hier ist nun - endlich - meine Umsetzung der Idee.

Today I am sharing with you my card for LawnFawnatics Challenge #220. The theme is "inspired by" and, as the theme indicates, you are asked to get inspiration from another cardmaker's card.  

A while ago Jennifer McGuire made a video about spinner cards and on one of her cards she let the little mole by LawnFawn run in circles with his wheelbarrow. I linked the video because I can't  find a picture of her card. When I watched the video I immediately had the little mower mice in mind and - finally - here's my card.

 

Und um Euch nicht so lange auf die Folter zu spannen hier gleich mal das animierte GIF der Maus beim Rasenmähen. Ich finde das übrigens ganz passend, dass sie immer im Kreis läuft, denn genau so fühlt sich Gartenarbeit manchmal an. Ist man endlich am einen Ende des Gartens angekommen, kann man wieder von vorne beginnen....

 

To not let you wait so long I am sharing with you the animated GIF right now so you can watch the mouse mow the lawn. I actually think her running around and around is a good fit because sometimes garden work just feels like running in circles. When you've finally made it to the end of the garden you can start all over at the other end....

 

Ich weiß, das Bild ist etwas wackelig - ich hatte mein Stativ nicht zur Hand. Aber es sollte doch noch okay sein so. 

 

 I know, it's a bit wonky, I didn't have my camera stand at hand. But I think it's still okay.

 

 

Der Hintergrund besteht hier aus einem Stück hellblauen Cardstocks, den ich mit Distress Oxide Speckled Egg und Broken China gewischt habe. Dann habe ich etwas Wasser aufgespritzt.

Die Mitte des Cardstocks habe ich ungewischt gelassen, denn dort wollte ich meine Blumenwiese aufstempeln und sie dann colorieren. 

 

The background is made from a piece of light blue cardstock, that I inked with Distress Oxide Speckled Egg and Broken China. Then I splattered some water onto it. 

I kept the center of the cardstock ink free because that's where I wanted to stamp my meadow and then color the flowers.

 

 Das Gras aus dem Set Critters on the Savannah habe ich mit grüner Tinte im Kreis aufgestempelt. Dann habe ich die Blumen, die ich aus diversen LawnFawn Sets zusammengesucht habe, darüber gestempelt - die Stiele mit grüner, die Blüten mit schwarzer Tinte. 

Da der Hintergrund-Cardstock ja blau war, habe ich zum Colorieren der Blüten Polychromos verwendet, die die Farbe des Cardstocks überdecken. Außerdem habe ich noch einige mehr Grashalme mit einem dunkelgrünen Polychromo zwischen die gestempelten Grashalme gemalt. 

Die süße Maus mit Rasenmäher ist aus dem Set Mower Mouse. Auf dem Rasenmäher sitzt die kleine Maus aus Garden Mouse - Achtung, natürlich nicht nachmachen! Kinder gehören nicht auf den Rasenmäher, aber auf einer Karte darf das mal. Außerdem habe ich noch einen kleinen Schmetterling und zwei kleine Wolken abgestempelt. Ich habe die Motive mit Ohuhu Markern coloriert und dann per Hand ausgeschnitten.

Die Motive habe ich dann auf einen Folienkreis, etwas größer als der gelbe Kreis in der Mitte des Motivs, geklebt. Den Schmetterling habe ich an einem schmalen Streifen Folie befestigt. Wie der  Mechanismus funktioniert, könnt Ihr in Jennifer's Video sehen.  

In die Mitte meines Graskreises - und um den Mechnismus zu überdecken - habe ich einen etwas größeren Kreis aus grünem und darauf einen Kreis aus gelbem Cardstock geklebt. Auf den gelben Kreis habe ich einen der Texte aus Magic Messages aufgestempelt. Den Text habe ich mit schwarzer, die Strahlen mit orangefarbener Tinte gestempelt. Dann habe ich die Strahlen mit Stickles beglittert. 

 

 I stamped the grass from Critters on the Savannah with green ink in a circle. Then I added the flowers behind it - the stems with green, the blossoms with black ink. I used flowers from all kinds of different sets here.

Since the background cardstock is a light blue I used Polychromos, that cover the cardstock color, to color the flowers. I also added some more grass between the stamped grass using a dark green Polychromo. 

The cute mouse with the lawn mower is from Mower Mouse. I sat a small mouse from Garden Mouse onto the mower - caution, don't try that with your own kids! Of course kids must not sit on top of a running lawn mower, but on a card everything is possible. I also  stamped two small clouds and a butterfly. Then I colored the images with Ohuhu markers and cut them out with my scissors.

I glued the images to the edge of a circle cut from acetate, that's a bit larger than the yellow circle in the center. For the butterfly I used a thin strip of acetate. You can check Jennifer's video to see how the mechanism behind this card is done.

Into the center of my grass circle - and to cover up the mechanism - I cut a circle from green cardstock and glued a slightly smaller one, cut from yellow cardstock, on top. Onto the yellow circle  I stamped one of the texts from Magic Messages. I stamped the words with black, the sun rays with orange ink and covered the rays with Stickles.

 

 Im unteren Bereich der Karte habe ich dann meinen Text aufgeklebt. Das Thank you ist aus dem Set Pick of the Patch AddOn. Ich habe es weiß auf grünen Cardstock embosst und dann ausgeschnitten. Für den Spruch darunter, den ich in ein Wortspiel abändern wollte, habe ich ein "you're just awesome" verwendet und das "awe" mit Hilfe des Stempels Mom, beides aus Just Plane Awesome, in "mow" abgewandelt. So ist es quasi eine Mischung aus awesome und mow....

 

In the lower area of the card I added the text. The thank you is from Pick of the Patch AddOn. I white heat embossed it with green cardstock and cut it out. The text underneath I wanted to change into a little pun. So I used a "you're just awesome" and used the word Mom, both from Just Plane Awesome, to turn the awe into mow. I really hope it sounds like a mix of awesome and mow....

 

 

Die Texte habe ich direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt, damit die Maus nicht daran hängen bleiben kann. Als Deko habe ich drei kleine rosafarbene Herzen auf der Karte verteilt und zudem einen Rahmen mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I glued the texts directly onto the background to make sure that the mouse can't get caught here. I added three small pink clay hearts as decoration and drew a frame with a white gel pen.

Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Bright and Colorful

Bright and Colorful - das ist das Thema der IG Challenge von SimonSaysStamp diesen Monat. Eigentlich bin ich ja eher weniger der Regenbogenfarben-Typ, aber hier passt es einfach super zum Thema. Und Chamäleons waren für mich da das naheliegende Motiv für die Karte.

Bright and Colorful - that's the theme of this month's IG challenge by SimonSaysStamp.  Usually I am not the rainbow colors type of crafter, but it just went perfectly with the theme. And chameleons were the obvious image for this card to me. 

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück Watercolor-Cardstock, den ich mit Distress Inks Picked Raspberry, Barn Door, Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn und Mustard Seed eher zart und im Farbverlauf eingefärbt. Ganz rechts ist auch noch etwas Orange im Farbenmix. Ich  hatte vergessen, ein orangefarbenes Kissen mit aus dem Schrank zu holen und war zu faul, nochmal aufzustehen. Deswegen habe ich hier einfach Barn Door und Mustard Seed gemischt. 

Auf den Hintergrund habe ich dann erst Wasser und nach dem Trocknen weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. 

Um alles habe ich dann den Tropical Leaves Backdrop von LawnFawn gesetzt. Den habe ich einmal aus schwarzem Cardstock und einmal aus Watercolor-Cardstock gestanzt. Den schwarzen Rahmen habe ich in vier Teile geschnitten und etwas überlappend wieder zusammengesetzt. Den Rahmen aus Watercolor-Cardstock habe ich wieder mit den Distress Ink Farben eingefärbt, diesmal sehr viel intensiver. Die beiden Rahmen habe ich dann mit dünnem 3D Tape und um 180° versetzt aufeinander geklebt.  

 

The background is made from a piece of watercolor cardstock, that I colored with Distress Inks  Picked Raspberry, Barn Door, Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn and Mustard Seed. I kept the colors soft and in a gradient. On the very right there's also a bit of orange. I had forgotten to bring out an orange ink pad and was too lazy to get up again so I simply mixed the Barn Door and Mustard Seed to create it. 

I first put droplets of water onto the background and after the water had dried splattered white acrylic paint on top.

I put the Tropical Leaves Backdrop by LawnFawn as a frame onto the background. I cut it from black cardstock and from white watercolor cardstock. I cut the black frame into four pieces and put it back together, moving the parts a bit closer to each other to make the frame about 1/4" smaller. The frame, that I cut from watercolor cardstock, I colored in with the same Distress Inks, this time applying more color to make it a lot brighter than the background. I glued both frames on top of each other using thin foam tape.  

Die beiden Chamäleons sind aus den Sets One in a Chameleon und One in a Chameleon Flip Flop von LawnFawn. Ich habe sie mit Copics ebenfalls in einem Regenbogen-Farbverlauf coloriert. Außerdem hatte ich mir an dem Tag Schimmer-Stifte von Action mitgenommen und kurzerhand auf die Rücken der Chamäleons farblich passende Punkte aufgetupft. So schimmern sie schön und die Punkte sehen ein wenig aus wie Schuppen. 

Die Äste, auf denen die beiden sitzen, sind Teile des Tree Branches Backdrop Landscape - ich habe sie aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und aus dem Rahmen ausgeschnitten. 

Die Blätter habe ich wieder aus Watercolor-Cardstock gestanzt, mit Distress Inks eingefärbt und etewas versetzt auf die Blätter an den Zweigen geklebt. 

 

The two chameleons are from One in a Chameleon and One in a Chameleon Flip Flop by LawnFawn. I colored them with Copics, again in a rainbow gradient. I also had just bought some shimmer markers at a local Dollar store and decided, to use them to add small dots in a matching color onto their backs. They now have a beautiful shimmer and they look a bit like scales.

The branches, on which those two are sitting, are parts from the Tree Branches Backdrop Landscape - I cut it from black cardstock and cut out the branches. 

The small leaves I cut again from watercolor cardstock, inked them with Distress Inks and glued them a bit offset onto the leaves on the branches. 

Über den Chamäleons war Platz für meinen Text. Der ist wieder aus dem Set One in a Chameleon und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.

Außerdem habe ich noch eine kleine Sprechblase mit einem eingestempelten "don't ever change" über dem linken Chamäleon aufgeklebt. Die Sprechblase ist aus All the Speech Bubbles, der Text darin aus dem Set How You Bean Money AddOn. 

 

Above those chameleons there was room for my text. It's again from One in a Chameleon and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

I also added a small speech bubble above the chameleon on the left and stamped a "don't ever change" into it. The speech bubble is from All the Speech Bubbles, the text in it from How You Bean Money AddOn. 

Die Chamäleons habe ich dann mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt und dann die beiden Blätterrahmen mit dickem 3D Tape darum gesetzt. Auf den Rahmen habe ich noch einige kleine weiße Blüten aus dem selben Set angeklebt, als Blütenmitten habe ich winzige weiß-irisierende  Perlen benutzt. Und über den Chamäleons habe ich drei weiße Herzen aufgeklebt.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. 

I adhered the chameleons with thin foam tape to the background  and then set the two leaves frames with thick foam tape around them. I added some small white flowers from the same set to the frame and used tiny  white-iridescent pearls as the flower centers. Above the chameleons I glued some white clay hearts. Then I attached the card panel to a white note card.

Zum 1. Geburtstag

Meine Enkelin ist vor kurzem 1 Jahr alt geworden und da durfte natürlich eine Geburtstagskarte nicht fehlen!

 

Hello everyone!

My granddaughter just turned 1 a few days ago and of course I had to make her a birthday card.

 

Ich wollte einen zarten Look für meine Karte, trotzdem sollten die Motive natürlich gut erkennbar sein. Deswegen habe ich mit viel weiß gearbeitet. Und an rosa bin ich auch nicht vorbeigekommen.

 Meine Szene habe ich auf einem Stück weißen Cardstocks gearbeitet, den ich rundum etwa 1cm kleiner als meinen Kartenrohling geschnitten habe.

 

I wanted a soft look for my card but of course the images should be clear to see. So I worked with lots of white. And I also couldn't resist adding pink - lots of it.

I created my scene on a piece of white cardstock, that I cut smaller, making it about 1 cm smaller all around than my card base.

 

 Ich war schon versucht, mit Watercolors zu arbeiten und die Szene zu maskieren. Ich habe mich dann aber dagegen entschieden und stattdessen jedes Motiv einzeln abgestempelt, in No-Line Technik coloriert und dann mit einem ganz feinen weißen Rand ausgeschnitten. So ist man bei der Gestaltung der Szene einfach etwas freier - und ich entscheide mich wirklich oft um wenn die Motive dann mal einzeln vor mir liegen.

Hier habe ich alles rund um eine große 1 angeordnet. Die ist aus einem Bogen aus dem Watercolor Wishes Paper Pad von LawnFawn mit dem großen Alphabet von Steckenpferdchen gestanzt, zudem habe ich sie hellgrau hinterlegt. 

Die Wolken im oberen Bereich sind aus dem Set Scene Builder von MFT, die Herzen drumherum, die ich in verschiedenen Sets von LawnFawn gefunden habe, sind direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt. Sie waren zum Glück vollflächig, so dass ich die nicht colorieren musste. 

Am Fuß der 1 befinden sich lauter kleine Häschen von MamaElephant, die zur Party gekommen sind. Die kleinen sind alle aus dem Set Hippity Hop, der große aus dem Set Dandelion Wishes. Ich habe den Löwenzahnsamen, den der Hase eigentlich hält, weggeschnitten und durch einen Luftballon aus dem Set Big News ersetzt, der Partyhut, den ich dem Hasen aufgesetzt  habe, ist aus Stackable Friends. 

Unter den Motiven habe ich eines der Grounding Elements von MFT, gestanzt aus grau-grünem Cardstock, als Boden aufgeklebt und passend dazu die beiden Blätter, die ich hinter der Zahl angebracht habe, coloriert. Die Blätter und auch die einzelne Blume ist aus dem Set Critters in the Jungle von LawnFawn. 

Alle Motive habe ich mit dem NoLine Ink Pad von InkOn3 abgestempelt und mit Copics sowie Polychromos coloriert. Ausgeschnitten habe ich sie per Hand. 

 

I was tempted to use watercolors and put the scene together with masking. But then I decided against it and instead did each image individually, coloring it with no visible lines and cutting them out with a very thin white edge. This way you are able to change the scene once you have the images done - and I do that very often. 

Here I arranged all the elements around a large die cut 1. I cut it from a sheet of the Watercolor Wishes paper pad by LawnFawn using the giant alphabet die set by Steckenpferdchen. I also put a light grey shadow layer behind the pink number. 

The clouds in the upper area are from Scene Builder by MFT, the hearts around them, that I picked from different sets by LawnFawn, I stamped directly onto the background. Luckily those were solid hearts so I didn't have to color them. 

At the bottom of the 1 there are lots of little bunnies by MamaElephant, all ready to party. The smaller ones are all from Hippity Hop, the large one from Dendelion Wishes. I replaced the dandelion he's originally holding, with a balloon from Big News. The party hat he's wearing is from Stackable Friends. 

I die cut one of the Grounding Elements by MFT from grey-ish green cardstock and used it as a ground, then colored the leaves, that I put behind the number, in matching colors. The leaves and also the individual flower are from Critters in the Jungle by LawnFawn.

I stamped all the images with the NoLine ink pad by InkOn3 and colored them with Copics and Polychromos, then used my scissors to cut them out.

 

 Unter der Szene habe ich den Namen meiner Enkelin aufgeklebt. Der ist wieder aus einem Bogen aus dem Paper Pad von LawnFawn und mit dem Henry's ABCs Stanzenset ausgestanzt. Auch diese Buchstaben habe ich mit einer grauen Lage hinterlegt.

Und dann musste ich einfach noch einen kleinen Geburstagsgruß hinzufügen. Der ist aus dem Set Itty Bitty Birthdays von MFT und weiß auf den grau-grünen Cardstock embosst. 

 

Under the scene I glued down my granddaughter's name. It's cut with the Henry's ABCs die set from the same paper pad by LawnFawn. Again I backed them with a grey shadow layer.

And then I just had to add a small birthday greeting. It's from Itty Bitty Birthdays  by MFT and white heat embossed onto the grey-ish green cardstock.

 

Am Himmel habe ich dann einige winzige Glizersteine als Deko verteilt und rund um die Szene einen Rahmen mit einem klaren Glitter-Gelstift aufgemalt.

Auf 3D Tape unter den Motiven habe ich übrigens bewusst verzichtet. Dadurch wirkt die Szene zwar etwas flacher, es kann aber auch kein Häschen ganz leicht abgezogen und verspeist wird. Auch die Glitzersteine sind mit extra viel Kleber befestigt. 

Dann habe ich den dekorierten Carstock mit 3D Tape auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. 

 

I added some tiny rhinestones as decoration to the sky and drew a frame around the scene using a clear glitter gel pen.

I didn't back up any images with foam tape. That makes the scene a bit less deep but none of the bunnies can be pulled off and eaten. I also used extra glue under the rhinestones. 

Then I mounted the card panel with foam tape to a white note card.
