Craft Roulette #338

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Ihr wisst es ja - der Sonntag gehört inzwischen meinen Karten, die ich nach den Vorgaben von Craft Roulette gemacht  habe. Die Show läuft ja freitag nachts unserer Zeit, aber das passt perfekt, denn dann ist samstags Zeit zum basteln. 

Die Parameter diesmal lauten:

You know it by now - sundays are reserved for my card made after the parameters by Craft Roulette. The show airs during the nights from friday on saturday my time but that works perfectly because that  means saturdays are for crafting.

This week's parameters are:

project: joyfold card

colors. dusty hues

element: starts with "K"

random: torn paper.

 

So, und ich gebe es zu, ich habe erstmal geschluckt. Ich bin ja gespannt, ob der "och nö, was soll  ich denn damit anfangen" Moment irgendwann  verschwindet. Momentan habe ich das doch bei vielen der erdrehten Aufgaben. Aber dann kam mir doch eine Idee. Und weil Mary, die Host der Show, nach Halloween Karten gefragt hatte, habe ich eine solche gemacht.

Der Hintergrund besteht aus grau-braunem Cardstock. Ich habe es etwas fleckig und sehr hell mit einem taupe farbenen Stempelkissen eingefärbt   und dann mit dem selben Stempelkissen und einem Mauerstencil von MFT die Mauersteine aufgewischt. Anschließend habe ich Astropaste Frostbite aufgetragen, auch hier die Paste nicht perfekt verteilened. Nun, die Paste wurde durch die Tinte darunter etwas rötlich verfärbt, aber das stört mich nicht.

Ich habe weiße und schwarze Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt und dann die Fugen mit einem hellgrauen Gelstift ein wenig nachgemalt. 

Am unteren Rand des Cardstocks habe  ich einen Streifen dunkel-oliv farbenen Cardstocks aufgeklebt. Den habe ich an der oberen Kante gerissen, die untere Kante und die  Ecken  habe ich ein wenig  mit Distress Ink Black Soot gewischt. Auch hier habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. 

 

And I have to admit - again - that I was stumped at first. I am really  curious to see if that  first thought aof "oh no, what should I do with these parameters" will disapear one day. At the moment I have it at quite a lot of the tasks given. But I finally had an idea. And because Mary, the host of the show, asked for Halloween cards I made my card a Halloween  one.

The background is made from brown-ish grey cardstock. I lightly and quite splotchy inked it with some taupe colored ink and then used the same ink and a brick stencil by MFT to add the brick pattern. Then I applied Astro Paste Frostbit, again not evenly spreading the paste out. Well, the ink stained the paste a bit red but it doesn't bother  me too  much.

Ich splattered white and black acrylic paint onto the cardstock and then used a light grey gel pen to trace the joints.

At the bottom of the cardstock I added a strip of dark olive cardstock. I've torn it along  the top edge, the bottom and sides I shaded lightly with Distress Ink Black Soot. And then I splattered on white acrylic paint as well.

 

 

Fast alle Elemente  auf meiner Karte sind aus der Heroween Box von HeroArts. Nur  die Tür  und den Kranz habe ich zusätzlich aus meinem Bestand geholt. Die Tür ist Shut the Front Door von LawnFawn, der Kranz samt Schleife ist aus dem Door Decor Set von Concord and 9th.

Ich habe die Tür aus grauem Cardstock gestanzt und mit einem grauen Stempekissen, das ich einfach darüber gezogen habe, mit einer Art Holzmuster versehen. 

Den Kranz habe ich aus schwarzem, die Schleife aus champagnerfarbenem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt. Die Deko aus Totenkopf und Knochen, wieder  aus der Heroween Box, sind aus weißem Glitter-Cardstock gemacht. 

Unter der Tür befindet sich eine Treppe, die im Set mit der Tür kommt. Sie ist aus sehr dunklem, graubraunen Cardstock gemacht und mit Alkohl-Markern schattiert. Und auch hier habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe  aufgespritzt. 

Neben der Tür hängen zwei Laternen.

 

Nearly all of the  elements on my card are from the Heroween Box by HeroArts. I only brought in the door and  the wreath from my stash. The door is Shut the Front Door by LawnFawn, the wreath and bow are from Door Decor  by Concord  and  9th.

I die cut the door from grey cardstock  and  then used a grey ink pad, that I just dragged lightly over the cardstock, added some kind of wood pattern to it.

Under the door I added some stairs, that come with the door. I cut them from very dark, grey-ish brown cardstock and  shaded  them with alcohol markers. Then I added some white splatters again. 

The wreath I cut from black, the bow  from champagne colored glitter cardstock. The decoration of skull and bones, again from the Heroween Box, are cut from white glitter cardstock.

Next to the door  I added two lanterns.

 

 Und unten, auf dem olivgrünen Gras, sind zwei Kinder auf Trick-or-Treat-Tour. Ich habe alle Teile aus farbigem Cardstock gestanzt und wieder  mit Alcohol-Markern schattiert. Die Hexe ist eigentlich eine Fee, aber die passt für mich nicht so recht zu Halloween. Also habe  ich den Dutt weiter nach unten gesetzt und Ihr den Hexenhut sowie den halben Umhang aus einem anderen Set angezogen. Außerdem hat auch sie eine grüne Hautfarbe. Der kleine Frankenstein ist komplett in olivgrün gekleidet. 

Auf der rechten Seite der Treppe befinden sich zwei Kürbislaternen. Ich habe hier jeweils ein rauchiges Orange und Pink verwendet. 

Ebenfalls  auf der rechten Seite, direkt unter der Treppe, habe ich dann noch ein kleines Trick or Treat aus dem Itty Bitty Boos Set von MFT weiß aufembosst. 

 

And at the  bottom, on  the  olive  grass, two kids are out trick-or-treating. I die  cut all  the pieces  from colored carcstock  and shaded them with alcohol markers. Originally the witch is dressed as a little fairy but that wasn't  Halloween-ish enough for me. So I moved her bun down and dressed her not only with her original dress but also with half of the cape and the witch's hat from another  set. I also gave her a green skin color, too. The little Frankenstein is completly dressed in olive green.

On the right side there are two little jack 'o lanters placed on the  stairs. I used a smokey orange  and pink here.

And also on the right side, directly under the stairs, I white heat embossed a little Trick or Treat from Itty Bitty Boos by MFT onto the  grass.

 

 Im oberen Bereich habe ich dann noch drei Fledermäuse und einige kleine schwarze Sterne aufgeklebt. 

Die Laternen und die Hexe sind mit dünnem, der Frankenstein  mit dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Die Kartenbasis besteht aus weißem Cardstock. 

Und wo ist jetzt das Element, das die Karte zu einer Joyfold Card macht? Na hier:

 

In the upper area I added three bats and some tiny black stars.

I backed the lanterns and the witch with thin, the Frankenstein with thick foam tape. The card base is cut from white cardstock.

And where is the element that makes this card a joyfold card? Well, here:

 

 Eine Joyfold Card macht ja aus, dass eine kleinere Karte die Kartenfront, die  nur einen Teil der Karte abdeckt, überlappt und beide aufgeklappt werden können. 

A joyfold card is made from a smaller card that overlaps the front, that doesn't  cover the whole card, and both can be folded open.

 Ich habe hier die kleinere Karte genau in der Größe der Tür gemacht und auch im Inneren der Karte das Mauermuster aufgebracht. Einen Teil davon habt Ihr ja schon bei geschlossener Karte gesehen. Ich habe beide Stücke so gestaltet, dass sie nahtlos aneinander passen. Das gleiche gilt für den gerissenen Boden. Die Treppe und Kürbisse befinden sich an jeweils gleicher Stelle im Inneren der Karte sowie auf dem nach  links aufklappenden größeren Teil. Auf dem ist auch der kleine Frankenstein angebracht. Die Hexe habe ich hingegen auf der Tür befestigt. Hier könnt Ihr ihre Beine noch sehen...

 

I made this smaller card exactly the size of my door and added the brick pattern also to the inside of the card. Part of it you've actually seen when the card is closed. I created both pieces so they fit together seamlessly. Same goes for the torn ground.

The stairs and pumpkins are glued in exactly the same spot inside the card and on the card front that folds open to the left. That's also where I glued on the little Frankenstein - the witch is glued to the door. You can see her legs on this picture.

 

 

 Im Inneren der kleinen Karte könnt Ihr sehen, was passiert, wenn die Kinder an der Tür geklopft haben und sich die Tür öffnet. Da die Tür hier ja offen ist habe ich nur den Türrahmen auf den Cardstock geklebt. Die kleine Karte ist aus sehr  dunkelbraunem Cardstock  gemacht, den Bereich rund um den Türrahmen habe ich ein wenig mit Black Soot schattiert. 

Ich habe hier ein großes Boo - schwarz auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt - quer über die Tür geklebt. Darunter habe ich ein   "to you" weiß aufembosst. Und drumherum habe ich noch drei kleine Geister verteilt. Die sind wieder aus weißem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt. 

 

Inside the smaller card you can see what happened once the kids knocked on the door and the door has  opened. Since the door is meant to be open I only added the frame to the small cardstock piece  and shaded the small card, that is made from a very dark brown cardstock, from the outside  in with a bit of Black Soot.  

I glued a large boo - stamped black onto white cardstock - across the door and white heat embossed a little "to you" under it. And around the text I added three little ghosts. Those I cut from white glitter cardstock again.

 

Und hier noch der Parameter-Check:

Joyfold Card: Check - nirgendwo ist vorgegeben, wie groß die kleinere Karte sein muss, also hat meine Idee  mit der Tür gut funktioniert.

Dusty Hues: Ich habe rauchiges rosa, orange und grau mit olivgrün kombiniert.

Starts with "K"  - und der war wirklich fies, denn im deutschen gibt es da ja unzählige Möglichkeiten: KIDS auf Trick-or-Treat Tour.

Torn Paper: der Grasstreifen entlang des unteren Rands der Karte ist am oberen Rand gerissen.

Dusty Hues: I combined a smokey pink, orange  and  grey  with olive green.

Starts with "K" - and this was a hard one because in german there are so many words starting with a K: KIDS trick-or-treating.

Torn Paper: the grass strip along the bottom of the card is torn along the  top  edge.

 

The Magician

Vor kurzem hat ScrappyTails seine diesjährige Halloween-Kollektion herausgebracht und die steht ganz im Zeichen von Tarot und der dazugehörigen Magie. Nun, ich war so überwältigt, dass ich am liebsten alles gleichzeitig benutzt hätte. Letztendlich habe ich mich dann doch für ein paar Sets entschieden und sie kombiniert, um dieses Jahrmarktzelt mit dem Magier zu fertigen.

ScrappyTails released this year's Halloween collection only a little ago and it's all about Tarot and the  magic behind it. Well, I was so overwhelmed that I wanted to combine everything at once. Finally I picked a few sets and combined them to create this carnival booth with a magician.

 

 

Die Basis der Karte ist mit der Picture Box Window PopUp Card Stanze und dem dazupassenden Fortune Teller Booth AddOn gemacht. Eigentlich lässt sich die Karte flach zusammenlegen und poppt durch einen Gummiband-Mechanismus von selbst auf. Da ich aber in meiner Deko 3D Tape verbaut habe, geht das nicht mehr - ich hatte das einfach im ersten Moment nicht bedacht. Deswegen habe ich auch den Querbalken in der Box, der den Mechanismus enthält, nicht mit eingebaut. Ich habe aber sowieso nicht vor, die Box zu verschicken und werde sie eher als Halloween-Dekoobjekt verwenden. Also ist das kein Problem für mich.

Die Box selbst habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock gewerkelt und mit schwarzem und goldenem Glitter-Cardstock sowie schwarzem Perlmutt-Cardstock und goldenem Mirror-Cardstock dekoriert. 

 

The base of this card is made using the Picture Box Window PopUp Card die and matching Fortune Teller Booth AddOn. The card is designed to fold flat and it pops up on its own because of a rubber band mechanism. I had used foam tape in my decorations and so my card doesn't fold flat anymore - I just didn't think of that. That's also why I didn't add "bar" of the mechanism to the inside of the card. But I plan to use this as a Halloween deco piece anyways so the fact it doesn't fold flat is not a problem to me. 

I made the box from black cardstock and used black and gold glitter cardstock, black pearlescent cardsdtock and gold mirror cardstock for my decorations.

 

 

 Ich habe die Front der Box mit schwarzem Glitter-Cardstock überzogen und dann Vorhänge aus schwarzem Perlmutt- und goldenem Glitter Cardstock angebracht. 

Und auch die Seiten und der Boden der Karte sind mit goldenem Glitter-Cardstock beklebt. Die Seitenteile haben ein Streifenmuster, hier scheint die schwarze Basis der Box hindurch.  

 

I added a frame cut from black glitter cardstock to the front of the box and then added curtains cut from black pearlescent and gold glitter cardstock.

I also covered the side pieces and the bottom of my box with gold glitter cardstock. The side pieces have a stripe pattern, through which the black base is visible. 

 

 Oben auf meiner Box befindet sich ein großes Schild. Auch das ist gold und schwarz gehalten.

Ich habe das Streifendesign des Schilds aus schwarzem Glitter-Cardstock, den Rahmen aus goldenem Glitter-Cardstock gewerkelt. Den Totenkopf habe ich aus weißem Cardstock eingesetzt, damit man ihn gut sieht.

Mittig auf das Schild habe ich dann erst die kleinste der Wolken aus dem Set Celestial Clouds and Pearl und darauf dann den Mond aus Celestial Tarot Card Accessoires aufgeklebt. Der Mond ist aus goldenem Spiegel-Cardstock gemacht, ebenso die Sterne drumherum, die aus dem Fortune Teller Booth AddOn stammen. 

Und weil so ein Jahrmarktzelt natürlich auch eine Beschriftung braucht - und ich keinen anderen Platz für meinen Text hatte - habe ich quer vor der Box ein Happy Haunting angebracht. Die Schattenlage habe ich aus orangefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt, die Worte aus weißem und schwarzem Cardstock. Den orangefarbenen Cardstock habe ich mit Distress Ink Ground Espresso ein wenig dekoriert indem ich einfach das Kissen direkt über den Cardstock gezogen habe.

Das große Schild ist dann mit einer der diversen Befestigungsmöglichkeiten im Picture Box Window PopUp Set angebracht - in diesem Fall der Cardstockstreifen mit 3 Schlitzen und den mittleren und hohen "Stegen". 

 

On the top of my box there's a large sign. It's again kept in gold and black.

I cut the stripes on the sign from black glitter cardstock, the frame from gold glitter cardstock. The skull I cut from white cardstock and paper pieced it in to make it noticable.

Onto the center of the sign I first glued the smallest of the clouds from Celestial Clouds and Pearl and, on top if it, the moon from Celestial Tarot Card Accessoires. The moon is cut from gold mirror cardstock, as are the stars around it, that are again made using a die from Fortune Teller Booth AddOn.

And because a carnival booth needs a name - and also because I didn't have another place for my text - I added a Happy Haunting to the top, too. I die cut the shadow layer from orange cardstock, the words from white and black cardstock. I used Distress Ink Ground Espresso to make the orange cardstock look a bit weathered by simply swiping the ink pad across it. 

The large sign is adhered to the top of the box using one of the different dies included in the Picture Box Window PopUp set for that purpose. I used the cardstock strip with the 3 slits and the middle and large sized "bridges". 

 

Im Inneren der Box findet sich dann der Zauberer nebst weiterer Deko.

Der Zauberer ist eines der Motive aus dem Tarot Skelly Stempelset. Für das gibt es sowohl passende Coloring Stencils als auch Outline Dies. Ich habe hier das Motiv mit Alkoholmarkern ein wenig schattiert. Den Umhang und Dekostreifen am Hut habe ich ein weiteres Mal auf orangefarbenen Cardstock gestempelt und ebenfalls schattiert. Dann habe ich sie ausgeschnitten und auf ihren Platz im Motiv geklebt. Deswegen habe ich hier auch die Outline Dies nicht verwendet, der weiße Rand  hätte so nicht funktioniert und ich habe einfach zur Schere gegriffen.

Den Mond hinter dem Kopf des Magiers habe ich gold auf golden schimmerndes Vellum embosst, ausgeschnitten und hinter dem Kopf angeklebt - hier habe ich den Mond weggeschnitten. 

Eigentlich ist der Magier Teil einer Tarotkarte, von der stammt dann auch der Text "the magician", den ich weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst habe. 

Vorne vor der Box sowie rechts und links des Magiers befinden sich Gruselkürbisse. Auch sie kommen im Picture Box Window PopUp Set. Die Basis ist aus schwarzem, die Kürbisse aus orangefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt. Auch hier habe ich wieder Ground Espresso verwendet, um die Kürbisse etwas rustikaler zu gestalten.

Inside the box I placed the magician and more decorations.

The magician is one of the images from the Tarot Skelly stamp set. There are matching coloring stencils and outline dies available for this set.  I used alcohol markers to shade the image. Then I stamped the cape and band on the hat again onto orange cardstock and shaded these, too. I cut them out and glued them onto their place in the image. That's also why I didn't use the outline dies here, they wouldn't have worked with the paper piecing and I simply used my scissors. 

The moon behind the magician's head is gold heat embossed onto gold pearlescent velllum, then cut out and glued behind the magician's head. The white one I cut off first.

This magician is part of a tarot card, from that is also the "the magician" text, that I white heat embossed onto black cadrstock.

In front of the box and next to the magician I placed some Jack 'o lanterns. Those come also in the Picture Box Window PopUp set. I cut the base from black, the pumpkins from orange cardstock and used Ground Espresso again to grunge them up a bit.

 

 Als Dekoration rund um den Magier habe ich eine weitere der Wolken, aus goldenem Spiegel-Cardstock gestanzt und mittig zerschnitten, hinter den Magier geklebt. Außerdem habe ich noch einige Fledermäuse aus schwarzem Glossy Cardstock gestanzt und einige davon rund um den Magier angebracht. Damit sie frei zu fliegen scheinen habe ich schmale Streifen Actetate verwendet, das ich hinter den Kürbissen angeklebt habe. Einige von den Fledermäusen habe ich dann auch noch auf das Schild auf der Box  geklebt. 

 

As decoration around the magician I adhered another cloud, cut from gold mirror cardstock and cut into two pieces, behind the magician. I also die cut some bats from black glossy cardstock and let some fly around the magician. To make them seem flying around I used thin strips of acetate, that I attached behind the pumpkins. 

 

Die Rückwand im Inneren der Box ist ebenfalls mit schwarzem Glitter-Cardstock beklebt.

Hier habe ich rechts ein Spinnennetz auf die Rückwand geklebt. Ein weiteres befindet sich in der vorderen linken Ecke des Rahmens. Dort sitzt eine Spinne aus goldenem Spiegel-Cardstock.  Und auch neben dem Magier  ist ein kleines Stück eines Spinnennetztes zu sehen.

I added a spiderweb in the bottom right corner of the back, another one I glued behind the top left corner of the frame. In this web there's dangling a spider, cut from gold mirror cardstock. There's also part of spider web visible next to the magician. 

 

Auf die Rückwand habe ich dann noch Perlenstränge aus dem Celestial Clouds and Pearl Set aufgeklebt, die ich wieder aus goldenem Spiegel-Cardstock gestanzt habe.

 

Onto the back I also glued some pearl strings from Celestial Clouds and Pearl, again cut from gold mirror cardstock. 

 

 Ich bin wirklich versucht, weitere Boxen wie diese, farblich anders und mit anderem Motiv, zu werkeln und damit dann einen Deko Jahrmarkt für meine Halloweendeko zu gestalten. Mal sehen, ob sich das zeitlich umsetzen lässt. Wenn, dann erfahrt  Ihr es auf jeden Fall hier.

Farbe trifft Stempel 2026 #8

Heute startet schon das achte und vorletzte Thema der diesjährigen Farbe trifft Stempel Mitmach-Challenge. Diesmal haben wir das Thema "Hobby" gewählt. Und auch hier sind die Möglichkeiten wieder so vielseitig.

Today we are starting the eighth and second last theme of this year's Farbe trifft Stempel challenge. This time we picked "hobby" as our theme and  again that leaves so many options for you cards.

 

 Nun, ich nähe zwar hin und wieder, spiele immer wieder mal Klavier und habe auch sonst noch einige Interessen, meine Liebe gilt aber dem Stempeln und Kartenbasteln. Und das konnte ich einfach nicht ignorieren. Und so musste ich das zum Thema Hobby einfach aufgreifen. Entstanden ist eine farbenfrohe Karte voller Bastelmaterial.

 Die Idee zu dieser Karte sah eigentlich ganz anders  aus, aber als sie dann fertig war, lag dieses Ergebnis vor mir. 

Da ich zwar viele kleine Motive hatte, wegen des Glases in der Perspektive aber eingeschränkt war, habe ich für den Hintergrund ein Stück dünnes selbstklebendes Kork benutzt. Das sieht aus, als befände sich eine Pinnwand hinter meinem Schreibtisch. Dem habe ich eine Tischplatte aus einem Streifen dunkelbraunen Cardstocks gegeben. 

 

Well, I like to sew, play the piano and also have a few other interests but my big love is about stamping and cardmaking. I  just couldn't ignore that with a hobby themed card and created this colorful card full of craft materials.

The original idea for this card looked completly different. But once it was finished this was the result.

I had colored all the images but because of the glass I was stuck with a special perspective. So I used a piece of thin self adhesive cork for my background that looks like there is a corkboard behind my desk. The top of the desk I simply created by using a strip of dark brown cardstock. 

 

 

Alle Motive auf meiner Karte sind von Create a Smile - die Buntstifte aus Endlich Schulkind, die Stempelkissen und Blending Tools aus Stempelfreunde. Einige der Buntstifte habe ich  in das Glas aus Auf  Uns gesteckt.  Zum Abstempeln der Motive habe ich das Jellyfish Stempelkissen von LawnFawn benutzt, das Glas habe ich mit hellblauem Memento gestempelt. Coloriert habe ich die Motive dann mit Ohuhu Markern und zur Definition einiger Details Prismacolors dazunommen. Die Highlights habe ich mit einem weißen Prismacolor gemacht, das ist zarter als ein Gelstift. 

Unter alle  Motive habe ich zudem einen Schatten mit einem dunkelbraunen Marker gemalt. 

 

All the images on my card are by Create  a Smile - the colored pencils from Endlich Schulkind, the  ink pads  and blending tools from Stempelfreunde. I put some of the pencils into the glass from Auf Uns. To stamp the images I used the Jellyfish ink pad by LawnFawn, the glass I stamped with a light blue Memento ink pad. Then I colored the images with Ohuhu markers and added some definition and fine details with Prismacolors. The highlights I did with a white prismacolor, it's just softer than a white gel pen. 

I added a drop shadow under each image using a dark brown marker. 

 

 Natürlich muss an einer Pinnwand auch ein Zettel hängen und der war der perfekte Platz für meinen Text. Auch der ist von Create a Smile und zwar aus dem Set Bunter. Eigentlich heißt er "du machst meine Welt bunter". Ich habe ihn so verändert abgestempelt, dass er nun "mach Deine Welt bunter" lautet. 

Den ersten Teil des Textes habe ich mit schwarzer Tinte, das Wort "bunter" wieder mit dem Jellyfish Kissen abgestempelt und es dann mit den selben Farben, die  ich schon für die Stifte genommen habe, coloriert. Drumherum habe ich noch farblich passende Punkte verteilt, die ich mit einem farblosen Blender ein wenig verwischt habe.

Gestempelt habe ich den Text auf das PostIt aus dem Set Take Note von Spellbinders. Das habe ich aus hellgelbem Cardstock gestanzt und ebenfalls ein wenig schattiert. Und statt der Nadel aus dem Stanzenset habe ich oben ein Stück des Washitapes aus dem Set Stempelfreunde verwendet. Auch das habe ich coloriert und im unteren Bereich ein wenig helles Gelb darübergelegt, so als wäre das Tape etwas  durchsichtig. 

Auch unter den Zettel habe ich dann einen Schatten auf das Kork gemalt. 

 

Of course there has to be a note stuck to the corkboard and that was the perfect place for my text. It's again by Create a Smile and originally means "you make my world colorful". I changed the arrangement and words slightly to turn it into "make your life colorful".

I stamped the first part of the text with black ink, the word "colorful" with the Jellyfish ink pad, then colored it using the same markers I had also used for the pencils. Around that word I added some color matching dots and let them bleed out slightly by pressing a colorless blender onto them. 

I stamped the text onto the PostIt from Take Note by Spellbinders. I die cut that from light yellow cardstock and shaded it. Instead of a pin from the die set I used a piece of washi tape from Stempelfreunde. Again I colored that and added a layer of soft yellow to the bottom, making it appear a bit transparent. 

I also added a drop shadow under the note, drawing it onto the cork.

 

 Ich habe das Glas und das rechte Blending Tool mit dünnem, den blauen und den lilafarbenen Stift sowie das gelbe Stempelkissen mit dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. 

Als Deko habe ich dann noch ein paar weiße Herzen auf der Karte verteilt und anschließend alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I used thin foam tape to adhere the glass and blending tool on the right and thick tape behind the blue and purple pencil and the yellow ink pad.

I added three white clay hearts as decoration and then glued the card panel to a white note card.

Awesome Autumn - so lautet das Thema der aktuellen LawnFawnatics Challenge und meine Idee seht Ihr hier.

Ich liebe Kürbis und Pumpkin Spice (sehr zum Leidwesen meines Mannes), aber wie man sieht, stehe ich damit nicht alleine da. Auch die Mäuse in Maushausen sind ganz aufgeregt, dass die Kürbissaison endlich zurück ist.

Im Sommer hatte ich Euch ja eine Karte mit den Mäusen von LawnFawn und ihrem Zitronenverkaufsstand gezeigt. Die Zitronensaison ist vorbei. Wie gut, dass die Mäuse auch noch ein Kürbisfeld betreiben! Und auch die Kürbisse wollen natürlich  verkauft werden. Wie es da so zugeht, zeige ich Euch heute.

Awesome Autunn - that's the theme of the current  LawnFawnatics Challenge and this is what I came up with. 

I love pumpkins and pumkin spice - my poor husband has to go through pumpkin hell each year - but as you can see I am not  the only one. Also the mice from Mousetown are all excited about pumkin season being back.  

In the summer I shared with you a card showing the mice by LawnFawn  and their lemon sale. Well, lemon season is over. But luckily those mice also own a pumpkin patch - and of course those pumpkins need to be sold, too. What that looks like is what I am sharing with you today.

 

Gleich vorweg - ich brauchte eine relativ flache Karte. Deswegen habe ich alle Motive direkt aufeinander geklebt. Ich finde, der Karte fehlt ein wenig Tiefe, aber mir gefällt sie trotzdem.

Ich wollte hier einen sanften Look - gerade so als würde die Nachmittags-Sonne durch die bunten Blätter an den Bäumen scheinen. Deswegen habe ich alles in zarten Farben gehalten und mal wieder meinen Distress Oxides hervorgeholt. Im Sommer ist mir das kräftige der Inks ja lieber, aber im Herbbst und Winter passt das kreidige der Oxides super.

Der Hintergrund besteht aus weißem Cardstock den ich mit Dried Marigold, Tea Dye, Victorian Velvet und  Aged Mahogany gewischt habe. Dann habe ich Wasser aufgespritzt. 

Als Rahmen um meine Szene habe ich den Fall Leaves Backdrop aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Weil aber meine Szene zu breit war, habe ich die Blätter in der unteren Hälfte vom Rahmen weggeschnitten. Die übrigen habe ich mit Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint, Brushed Corduroy und etwas Rusty Hinge schön fleckig gewischt und dann goldene Metallic-Watercolor aufgespritzt. 

Und für den Boden habe ich den Grassy Pasture Backdrop Landscape verwendet. Ich habe ihn aus hell- und dunkelgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und  jeweils nur einen Teil des Hintergrund benutzt. Die beiden Graslagen habe ich außen leicht mit Bundled Sage und Evergreen Bough gewischt.

 

To mention it right away - I needed a quite flat card. So I glued all the images directly onto each other. I think, the card is lacking some dimension but I still like how it turned out.

I was after a soft look - as if the afternoon sun is  shining through the colored  leaves on the trees.  So I worked  in soft colors and also brought out my Distress Oxides. During summer I love the brightness of the Inks but for fall and winter the chalky look of the Oxides works great.

The background is made from white cardstock that I inked with Dried Marigold, Tea Dye, Victorian Velvet and Aged Mahogany. Then I sprinkled some water onto it.

As a frame around my scene I die cut the Fall Leaves Backdrop from white cardstock. Because my scene was too wide I cut off the leaves of the bottom half. The left over ones I inked with Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint, Brushed Corduroy and some Rusty Hinge and splattered gold  metallic watercolor on top.

And for the ground I used the Grassy Pasture Backdrop Landscape. I die cut it from light and dark green cardstock and only used parts of each die cut. I inked these lightly with Bundled Sage and Evergreen Bough. 

 

 

Im Mittelpunkt der Szene steht wieder Verkaufsstand. Den finde ich so vielseitig, dass  ich das "lemonade", das eigentlich im Schild oben steht, mit dem Cutter herausgeschnitten habe. Hier habe ich stattdessen kleine Kürbisse aus dem Set Spooky Village aufgestempelt. 

Im Verkaufsstand steht  der geschäftstüchtige Verkäufer der gerade das Geld von einem Kunden entgegen nimmt. Der freut sich wie verrückt, dass er die letzte kleine Kürbisfratze ergattern konnte, die auf dem Verkaufstresen steht....

Ich liste Euch übrigens am Ende des  Posts auf, welche Stempel aus welchem Set ich verwendet habe. Das  ist einfach übersichtlicher und der Text schreibt  sich leichter....

Ich habe alle Motive mit Alkoholmarkern ganz zart coloriert und mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. 

 

In the center of the scene is the sales stand. I think this is so versatile that I used my cutter to carefully cut out the "lemonade" that's inside the sign at the top of the  stand. Here I stamped some little pumpkins from Spooky Village onto the  sign instead.

In the stand there's the salesman, just taking the  money  from a customer. This customer is over the  moon to have just gotten the very last small Jack 'o Lantern, that's standing on the stand.

I am going to list all the  images and from which set they are from at the end of this post. That's just more convinient and the text is easier to write.

I colored all images with alcohol markers in soft colors and cut them out with my scissors.

 

  Auf der linken Seite  der Szene ist der besagte Kunde zu sehen. Neben dem Verkaufsstand steht noch ein Korb mit verschiedenen Kürbissen darin und davor. Wie das Schild dahinter sagt, kosten die nur 25 Cents das Stück. Sehr günstig, da würde ich gerne mal einkaufen!

Hinter der kompletten Szene habe ich, passend zum Herbst, einige Sonnenblumen verteilt.

 

On the left side of the scene there's said customer. Next to the stand there's a basket filled with more pumpkins and even more in front of it. As the sign says they are only 25 C a piece - I'd really love to shop there!

Behind the whole scene, going perfectly with fall, I placed some sunflowers.

 

Auf der rechten Seite des Verkaufsstands steht ein großer Halloweenkürbis, den die Standbetreiber aufgestellt haben. Die Mäusekinder können hineinklettern und die Eltern Erinnerungsfotos schießen. Natürlich  befinden sich hier weitere Kürbisse und ein Farm-Mitarbeiter bringt noch mehr herbei.

Hier steht auch ein großes Schild, das den Weg zum Küribsverkauf und dem Feld, auf dem man seinen eigenen Kürbis aussuchen und ernten kann, weist. Für das Schild habe ich einige Stempel zusammengesetzt: das obere große Schild ist aus Silly Goose, den Text habe ich durch einen aus Berry Special ersetzt. Beides habe ich auf das kleinere Schild aus Hay There Hayrides gestempelt. Und weil wir schon bei Schildern sind: das Schild links auf der Karte ist aus Apple-Solutely Awesome, das 25 C ist aus Make Lemonade.

 

 On the right side of the stand there's a giant  Jack 'o Lantern the salesman have put up for the kids to climb in and for their parntes to take pictures. Of course there are some more pumpkins and another mouse is bringing even more. 

There's also a large sign post there that shows the customer where to buy pumpkins and where they can even pick their own. The sign I've put up by combining several stamps: the larger sign is from Silly Goose, I replaced the text with one from Berry Sweet and stamped both above the smaller sign from Hay There Hayrides. And while we are talking about signs: the one on the  left side of the card is from Apple-Solutely Awesome, the 25 C text on it is from Make Lemonade.

 

 So ein klein wenig Höhe brauchte meine Karte  dann doch. Also habe ich den Blätterrahmen mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt und obenauf einen der Stitched Rectangle  Frames aufgeklebt. Den habe ich aus rosegoldenem Schimmer-Cardstock gestanzt. 

Für eine Text war auf der Karte kein Platz mehr. Um die Ecken am unteren  Rand  der Karte zu füllen, habe ich hier noch ein paar der vom Rahmen abgeschnittenen Blätter unter den Rahmen geschoben. Und als Deko habe ich ein paar rosafarbene Herzen auf der Karte verteilt. Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I just needed to give my card a tiny bit of dimension. So I adhered the leaves frame with foam tape and glued one of the Stitched Rectangle Frames on top of it. I had die cut that  from some rose gold shimmer cardstock.

There was no space  for  a text on this card. To fill the corners at the bottom of the card I tucked some of the leaves, that I had cut off of the frame, under it. As decoration I added some light pink clay hearts and then glued the card panel onto a white note card.

Auf meiner heutigen WhimsyStamps Halloweeners Karte zeigt uns eine kleine Hexe, wie sie das Zaubern übt. Ich finde, das sieht schon mal ganz gut aus, oder?

On today's WhimsyStamps Halloweeners card a little witch is showing us what her magic practicing looks like. And I think she's doing a pretty good job, right?

 

Ich wollte auf der Karte ein Buch in den Mittelpunkt stellen, das magisch leuchtet. Naja, das Ergebnis sieht anders aus, als ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Aber der Look kommt rüber.

Für den Hintergrund  habe ich auf einem Stück weißen Cardstocks den Bereich um das Buch herum grün eingefärbt und dafür zur Abwechslung mal wieder Distress Oxides benutzt. Es kamen Antique Linen, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness und Black Soot zum Einsatz. Dann habe ich noch schwarze Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

 

I wanted to create a card with a book as the main image, that seems to glow magically. Well, the result looks different  than what I  had envisioned, but it works, I think.

I started with a piece  of white cardstock  and inked the area around the book green, using my Distress Oxides since quite some time again. I went with Antique Linen, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness and Black Soot. Then I splattered a bit of black acrylic paint onto the cardstock.

 

 Das Buch ist mit der Book Stanze gemacht. Ich habe es aus braunem Cardstock gestanzt und die Teile mit Distress Ink Walnut Stain und Black  Soot gewischt. Den Aufleger auf dem Buch habe  ich vor dem Aufwischen des Black Soot von hinten ein wenig mit Wasser besprüht und dann zerknittert. 

Die Akzente auf dem Buchrücken habe ich aus goldenem Metallic Cardstock gestanzt, außerdem habe ich auf den Aufleger einen Rahmen mit einem goldenen Gelstift aufgemalt. 

Für den Buchtitel habe ich das innerste Teil des Fantasy Frame aus weißem Cardstock  gestanzt und bewusst streifig mit Walnut Stain und Black Soot eingefärbt. Dann habe ich einen der Texte aus Witch Broom Sale darauf gestempelt. Dabei habe ich die  Worte Boo! Witches gold  embosst, die restlichen Teile des Stempels sind  mit Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves gestempelt.

Für das Leuchten des Buchs habe ich ebenfalls die - etwas größeren - inneren Teile des Fantasy Frame verwendet und in das Buch geklebt. Dann habe ich die Bereiche von innen nach außen von orange zu ganz hellem Gelb  coloriert und mit einem weißen Gelstift Punkte aufgetupft. Außerdem habe ich - einfach mit der Schere - schmale Streifen aus Vellum gestanzt, mit einem weißen Gelstift Streifen aufgemalt und die  dann zwischen Buch und "Glow" geklebt. 

 

The book is made using  the Book  die. I die  cut the pieces from brown cardstock and inked them with Distress Ink Walnut Stain and Black Soot. The layer on the book I lightly misted with water before ink blending on it, then crumbled it together. 

The accents on the spine I die cut from gold mirror cardstock, I also added a frame with a gold gel pen onto the top layer of the book cover.

For the titles I used the smalles inner piece  of the Fantasy Frame die set and - purposefully streaky - inked it with Walnut Stain and Black Soot. Then I stamped one of the texts from Witch Broom Sale onto it. I gold heat embossed the words Boo! Witches, the rest I stamped with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves. 

To create the glow that's coming from the book I again used the inner pieces of the Fantasy Frame, this time the larger one. I glued them into the book and colored them from the inside out from orange to a very light yellow, then added dots with a white gel pen. I also used my scissors to cut some simple strips from vellum, added streaks with a white gel pen and glued them between the book cover and the "glow".

 

 Eigentlich hatte ich gar kein Motiv für die Karte geplant, aber als  das  Halloween Tricks Stempelset so vor mir lag, fiel mir auf, wie toll die  Hexe mit dem Zauberstab passen würde. Ich habe sie mit Alkoholmarkern coloriert und mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. 

Von der Spitze des Zauberstabs habe ich dann einen der Swirls aus dem Twinkle Swirl Background angeklebt. Ich habe ihn aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und dann hellgrün coloriert. Die ausgestanzten Sterne habe ich mit Glittercardstock hinterlegt.

Ebenfalls aus dem Halloween Tricks Set sind die Zauberworte, die  ich auf der Karte verteilt habe. Ich habe sie weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

Zum Schluss habe ich dann auf der Karte noch kleine Sterne verteilt, die ich mit einer der Stanze aus dem Book Stanzenset aus Glittercardstock gestanzt habe. 

 

Originally I had no plans to add an image to the card, but when the Halloween Tricks stamp set was laying in front of me I realized how great the witch with the wand would fit. I colored her with alcohol markers and cut her out with my scissors.

To the tip of the wand I added one of the swirls from Twinkle Swirl background. I cut it from white cardstock and colored it light green. The cut out stars I backed with glitter cardstock.

Also from the Halloween Tricks stamp set are the spells, that I added to the card. I white  heat  embossed those onto black cardstock.

In the end I used another die form the Book set to cut little stars from glitter cardstock and scattered those over the card.

 

 Das Buch hat durch die verschiedenen Lagen bereits etwas Höhe. Um die auszugleichen und die Hexe etwas weiter nach oben zu bringen habe ich sie, den grünen Streifen aus dem Zauberstab sowie die Zauberwortstreifen mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

Zum Schluss habe ich dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling angebracht.

 

With its several layers the book is already pretty thick. To even out this thickness and bring up the witch a bit I adhered her, the green strip/bow and the magical words with foam tape.

Then I glued the card panel onto a white note card.

 

Farbe trifft Stempel 2026 #7

"Glück" ist das Thema für die 7. Farbe trifft Stempel Challenge 2026. Und ich habe mich für eine Karte mit Kleeblättern als Glücksbringer entschieden.

"Luck" ist the theme of challenge #7 of this years Farbe trifft Stempel challenge. I made a card with shamrocks, since they are one of the most common lucky charms.

 

 Auch wenn man bei Kleeblätter eher an grün denkt, meine Karte ist recht blau-lastig ausgefallen. Aber natürlich findet sich auch etwas grün darauf.

Ich habe hier ein Stück dunkelblauen Cardstocks für die Basis genommen und eines der Essential Arches von Spellbinders mittig herausgestanzt. 

Auf den blauen Cardstock  habe ich dann mit farblich passender, ein wenig dunklerer Tinte den Pretty Picado Background von TheGreetery aufgestempelt.

Aus hellem cremefarbenem Cardstock habe ich dann mit der Arch-Stanze und der nächst  größeren aus dem Set einen Rahmen ausgestanzt und auf den dunkelblauen Cardstock geklebt.

 

When you hear shamrocks you might think green, but my card turned out pretty blue. But of course there's some green on it, too.

I used a piece of dark blue cardstock for my base and die cut one of the Essential Arches by Spellbinders from the center.

Onto the cardstock I then stamped the Pretty Picado Background by TheGreetery, using a blue that matches the tone of the cardstock and is just a bit darker.

From light cream colored cardstock I then cut a thin frame, using the same arch die and the next larger one from the same set. I glued that onto the dark blue cardstock.

 

Hinter  das ausgestanzte Fenster habe ich dann ein Stück hellblauen Cardstocks als Hintergrund gesetzt. In das habe ich mit dem Head in the Clouds Embossingfolder von Spellbinders Wolken geprägt. Auf der erhabenen Seite habe ich die mit einem weißen und einem hellgrauen Polychromo ein wenig schattiert und dann weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. 

Dieser Himmel bildet dann den Hintergrund für meine kleine Gans im Klee.

 

 Behind the cut out window I put a piece of light blue cardstock as the background. I dry embossed  the cloud pattern into it using the Head in the Clouds embossing folder by Spellbinders. Onto the raised side I added a shadow and higlight to each cloud using a white and light grey Polychromo, then splattered a bit of white acrylic paint onto the cardstock.

This sky makes the background for my little goose in the field of shamrocks.

 

 Und hier könnt Ihr die kleine Gans besser sehen. Sie ist aus dem Set Gänsebriefchen von Cafe Constanze. Ich habe ihr den Blütenhut einer der anderen Gänse aus dem Set aufgesetzt. Außerdem habe ich Ihr zwei Kleeblätter aus dem Sonst Auch Set von Create a Smile unter den Flügel geklemmt. 

Coloriert habe ich mit Alcoholmarkern und Polychromos, dann habe ich sie  per Hand ausgeschnitten. 

Mit heller, blau-grüner Tinte habe ich dann die kleinen Kleeblätter aus dem gleichen Set aneinander gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und die Gans hineingestellt. 

Rund um die Gans habe ich dann ausgestanzte Kleeblätter verteilt, die ich aus drei verschiedenen Tönen grünen Cardstocks gestanzt habe. Die helleren sind dabei aus dem Lucky Clovers Set von LawnFawn, die ganz dunklen von Alexandra Renke. Da die komplett ohne Details gestanzt werden, habe ich die mit einem schwarzen Polychromo aufgemalt, auch wenn man sie kaum sieht. 

 

And here get a closer look at the little goose. She's from Gänsebriefchen by Cafe Constanze. I dressed her up with a flower hat from another goose from the set and tucked some more shamrocks from Sonst Auch by Create a Smile under her wing. 

I colored her with alcohol markers and Polychromos, then cut her out with my scissors.

I used light, blue-ish green ink to stamp the smaller  shamrocks from the same set next to each other and cut them out as well, then put the goose into them.

Around the goose I placed some die cut shamrocks, that I cut from three different shades of green cardstock. The lighter ones are from Lucky Clover by LawnFawn, the very dark ones by Alexandra Renke. Since these are cut out without any details, so I drew on some using a black Polychromo, but they are hardly visible. 

 

 Im oberen Bereich der Karte habe ich dann noch einen Text aufgeklebt. 

Ich habe die Buchstaben für das Wort Gans mit einer Stanze von Craft Emotions ausgestanzt - einmal aus weißem und einmal aus dunkelblauem Cardstock. Das N habe ich dabei auf den Kopf gedreht - es soll wohl wie ein etwas geschwungenes kleines N aussehen. In Kombination mit Kleinbuchstaben mag das Sinn machen, so aber sah es so aus, als wäre es spiegelverkehrt. Ich habe einer meiner Tochter die Karte mit dem N, so wie es eigentlich designed ist, gezeigt und ihr erster Kommentar war "Mama, hast Du Tomaten auf den Augen". Sie war mit mir einer Meinung, dass es komisch aussah, und da sie Designerin ist, muss sie es wissen. ;)

Das kleine Viel Glück darunter ist aus dem Stempelset Herbstleuchten von Cafe Constanze und weiß auf dunkelblauen Cardstock embosst. 

 

In the upper area of the card added  my text. 

I die cut the letters  for the  word Gans  - goose - from white and blue cardstock using a die by Craft Emotions.  I had to turn the N over - it's meant to look like a a lowercase one and in combinations with other lower case letters it might work. But here it looked like mirrored. I showed the card to one of my daughters and her first comment was "mom, what did you do". She agreed with me that  it looked weird and since she's a designer she knows what she's taliing about. ;)

The smaller Viel Glück - good luck - is from Herbstleuchten by Cafe Constanze and white heat embossed onto dark blue cardstock. The text means "lots of good luck" but has a play of words the words Gans - goose - and ganz - lots of. 

 

 Ich habe den dunkelblauen Hintergrund mit dem Fenster mit dickem 3D Tape auf den Wolkenhintergrund geklebt und dann auch die Gans samt Kleeblättern damit hinterlegt. 

Als Deko habe ich einige weiße Herzen aufgeklebt und dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling angebracht.

SimonSaysStamp IG Challenge im September 2026

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Es ist Stamptember - und da liegt es natürlich nahe, dass auch bei der SimonSaysStamp IG Challenge das Stempeln im Fokus steht. Und so lautet das Thema auch "celebrate stamping". 

Nun ist es so, dass ich wohl fast jede meiner Karte hätten einreichen können, noch dazu, weil man mehrmals teilnehmen kann. Aber für mich sind Challenges mehr ein Anreiz oder Ideengeber und so habe ich extra diese Karte gemacht.

It's Stamptember - and so it's obvious that stamping is also the focus of this month's SimonSaysStamp IG challenge. The theme is "celebrate stamping". 

Well, I guess I could have entered nearly every card I've made so far this month, the more since you can enter as many cards as you want. But to me challenges are an encouragement and give me an idea where to start with a card so I've decided to make a card just for the challenge.

 

Es ist eine Herbstkarte geworden, so langsam merkt man,  dass es draußen herbstlich wird. Und weil ich aber eigentlich immer noch nicht bereit dafür bin, habe ich zumindest farblich eine etwas andere Kombi verwendet. Trotzdem sieht man der Karte den Herbst an, finde ich, wohl weil ich eher gedeckte, rauchige Farbtöne benutzt habe. 

 Die Stempel, die ich hier benutzt habe, sind bis auf die Texte und die Blätter von SimonSaysStamp.

Für den Hintergrund, von dem ein Teil dann doch eher zum Hauptmotiv gehört, habe ich den großen Stempel aus dem Set Pumpkin to Talk About mit goldenem Embossingpulver auf Watercolor Cardstock embosst. Dann habe ich alle Kürbisse bis auf den, den ich später in einer anderen Farbe coloriert habe, erst mit Distress Ink Weathered Wood und einem Schwämmchen eher zart eingefärbt und dann  Wasser darauf gespritzt. Nach  dem Trocknen habe ich dann die Farbe an einigen Stellen per Ink Smooshing intensiviert. Und zu guter Letzt habe ich dann noch den Weathered Wood Marker - ich glaube, die gibt es nicht mehr, aber wenn ich sie schon habe... - verwendet und ganz gezielt noch an ein paar Stellen Schatten aufgemalt, die ich dann mit einem Pinsel und Wasser ein wenig vermalt habe.

 

 I made a fall card - it's starting to get really fall-ish outside, too. And because I am still so not ready for that I at least picked a kind of different color combo for my card. Still it has some fall vibes, I think. Most likely because I went with muted, kind of smokey color tones.

The stamps I used on my card - except the texts and the leaves - are by SimonSaysStamp.

For the background, that I used a part of as part of my main image, I stamped the large stamp from Pumpkin to Talk About and gold heat embossed  it onto watercolor cardstock. Then I used a blending tool and Distress Ink Weathered Wood to lightly color in all the pumpkins except the one I colored a different color later. I sprayed everything with water to let the color run into all the small areas and, after the cardstock had dried, did some ink smooshing with the same ink to intensify the color in some areas. And then I brought out the Weathered Wood marker - I don't think these are sold anymore but since I have them... - and added some shadows, softening them with a damp brush. 

 

 Um die übrigen Motive zu colorieren habe ich die ZIG Color Real Brush Marker verwendet. Da habe ich sämtliche Farben und konnte somit genau die Töne raussuchen, die mir vorschwebten. Damit habe ich auch die Stiele der Kürbisse im Hintergrund coloriert. 

Den Kürbis, der wie gesagt Teil des Hintergrunds ist, habe ich grau-grün coloriert.  

Dann habe ich zwei Sonnenblumen, Teil des Sunflower Garden Stempels von SimonSaysStamp ebenfalls gold auf Watercolor Cardstock embosst und die Blüten in einem rauchigen Gelb und dunkelbraun coloriert. Ebenfalls gold embosst habe ich dann noch die Outlines der Blätter aus dem Fall Leaves Stempelset von Clearly Besotted. Für sie habe ich mich für olivgrüne Töne entschieden. 

Die Sonnenblumen und die Blätter habe ich mit der Schere genau an der embossten Linie ausgeschnitten.

 

To color the rest of the images in I used the ZIG Color Real Brush markers. I have all the colors here and so was able to pick exactly the shades I had in mind. I used these to color the stems of the pumpkins on the background, too.

The pumpkin, as already mentioned that's a part of the background, I colored a grey-ish green.

Then I gold heat embossed two sunflowers, part of the Sunflower Garden stamp by SimonSaysStamp, onto watercolor cardstock and colored them a smokey yellow and dark brown. And also gold embossed are the outlines of the leaves from Fall Leaves by Clearly Besotted. For these I picke some olive green shades.

I used my scissors  to cut out the flowers and the leaves directly along the embossed lines.

 

  Ich habe gleich zwei kleine Texte auf der Karte untergebracht - beide sind aus dem Set Autumn Blessings von MFT. Ich habe "happy fall" weiß auf zwei kleine Streifen Vellum embosst, ausgeschnitten und an den Stiel des grünen Kürbis geklebt. Den Kleber habe ich dann unter eine Schleife aus weißem und goldenem Twine versteckt. 

 

I added two small texts to my card - both from Autumn Blessings by MFT. I white heat embossed "happy fall" onto two strips of vellum, cut them out and glued them to the stem of the green pumpkin. I've hidden the glue under a bow, tied from white and gold twine.

 

 Auch der zweite Text ist weiß auf Vellum embosst. Ich habe ihn mit der Schere ausgeschnitten und entlang der unteren Kante der Karte direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Den Kleber habe ich nur hinter dem Embossingpulver aufgetragen, so dass er nicht durch das Vellum sichtbar ist.

 

Also the second text is white heat embossed onto vellum. I cut it out with my scissors and glued it along the bottom edge of the card onto the background. I've added tiny dots of glue only in places where there is some embossing on the other side so there is no glue visible through the vellum.

 

 Ich habe die Blätter mit dünnem, die Sonnenblumen mit dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. 

Als Deko habe ich ein paar matt-goldene Perlen sowie drei weiße Herzen auf die Karte geklebt und dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling angebracht.  

 

I adhered the leaves with thin, the flowers with thick foam tape.

As decoration I added a few matte gold pearls and three white clay hearts and then glued the card panel onto a white note card.
