Shaker-Card in Autoform

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute habe ich eine Karte voller Kleeblätter, das ganze in Auto-Form und mit eingebautem Shaker. Klingt kompliziert, ist es aber gar nicht. ;)

 

Hello everyone!

Today I have a card full of clovers to share, in a car shape and with a shaker. Sounds complicated, but it actually isn't. ;)

 

Für den Pick-Up habe ich das Stempelset PickUp Tailgate von HoneyBeeStamps benutzt, den habt Ihr hier bei mir ja schon öfter gesehen. Ausgestanzt habe ich ihn mit der passenden Stanze. Es gibt den PickUp auch von vorne - beide sind von der Form her identisch. Also habe ich eigentlich die Stanze zu eben diesem PickUp Cab verwendet. 

Die Karte ist auch die erste, bei der ich das komplette Motiv mit den Ohuhu Markern coloriert habe. Ja, ich lerne noch, aber ich wollte den PickUp in dezenten Farben und leuchtend grüne Kleeblätter. Und ich bin mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden. 

 

For the pick up I used the PickUp Tailgate stamp set by HoneyBeeStamps, I've used that several times already. I cut it out with the matching die. Actually, this car is availbale as a front and a rear view, both are identical in shape. So I used the die from the matching die set for this PickUp Cab. 

This card is also the first one, where I used only Ohuhu Marker for the coloring. Yes, I am still learning how to combine them, but I wanted this PickUp to have a subtle color with bright green clovers. And yes, I am happy with the result.  

 

 Die Ladefläche des PickUps habe ich dann mit vielen Kleeblättern gefüllt. Dafür habe ich die Klee-Wiese aus dem 4 Leaf Clover Set von ColoradoCraft benutzt. Den kleinen Hamster, der eigentlich darin sitzt, habe ich wegmaskiert und durch dieses Häschen aus Dandelion Wishes von MamaElephant ersetzt. Der Hamster war einfach zu groß - außerdem habe ich den erst vor gar nicht langer Zeit benutzt. Die Pusteblume, die der Hase eigentlich in der Hand hält, habe ich dann durch das Kleeblatt ersetzt, das der kleinere Hamster aus dem 4 Leaf Clover Set in der Hand hält. 

Die Fläche zwischen den Kleeblättern habe ich dunkelgrün coloriert und sie dann mit kleinen Kleeblatt-Konfetti sowie winzigen hellgrünen Perlen gefüllt. 

 

I filled the bed of the truck with lots of clovers. I used the clover field from 4 Leaf Clover by ColoradoCraft for them, masking off the hamster, that's sitting in it. I replaced that with the little bunny from Dandelion Wishes by MamaElephant - the hamster was just too large. And I had just used them not too long ago. I replaced the dandelion, that the bunny is holding, with the clover the smaller hamster from 4 Leaf Clover is holding up.

I colored the area betweenthe clovers in a dark green and then filled it with some small clover confetti and tiny light green pearls.

 

 Den Shaker habe ich in die Klappe der Ladefläche des PickUps eingebaut. Dafür habe ich den unteren Teil des PickUps erneut abgestempelt und nur die Kotflügel, die Klappe und die Stoßstange entlang der Stempellinien ausgeschnitten. Außerdem habe ich ein Fenster in die Klappe geschnitten. 

Hinter das Fenster habe ich Folie gesetzt, auf die ich den Text weiß aufembosst habe. Der ist aus dem Set PickUp Cab. Ergänzt wird er dann durch das "good luck" auf dem Nummernschild, das wieder aus PickUp Tailgate ist. 

Diesen Teil des Autos habe ich dann mit 3D Tape auf das komplette Auto geklebt und den Shaker dabei mit weiteren kleinen Kleeblättern sowie winzigen silbernen Perlen gefüllt. Den Bereich hinter dem Shaker, der sich auf dem kompletten Auto befindet, habe ich dunkelgrün coloriert. 

 

I built the shaker in the tailgate of the PickUp. I stamped the lower part of the car again and cut out only the fenders, the tailgate and the bumper, right along the stamped lines. I also cut a window into the tailgate.

I put some acetate behind the window and white heat embossed the text onto it. The text here is again from PickUp Cab. I stamped the rest of the text onto the license plate - this text is again from PickUp Tailgate.

I glued this part of the car onto the complete on using foam tape and filled the shaker with more of the small clover confetti and some tiny silver beads. The area behind the shaker, that is actually part of the complete car, I colored a dark green. 

 

Auf die Kotflügel und neben das Nummernschild habe ich dann noch einige weitere Kleeblätter angeklebt und außerdem drei hellrosa Herzen als Deko auf die Karte geklebt. Das Häschen ist übrigens mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt, so dass es zwar etwas erhöht, aber nicht so hoch wie die Ladefläche mit dem Shaker ist.

 

I added some more of the clover confetti to the fenders and next to the license plate and also glued down three light pink clay hearts as decoration. The bunny I adhered with thin foam tape. This way it's raised a bit but not as much as the clovers and shaker.

 

 Auch die Karte hinter dem Auto ist in Auto-Form gestaltet. Ich habe es dafür aus  oben gefaltetem, weißem Cardstock gestanzt und die Stanze dabei so aufgeklebt, dass die obere Kante der Stanze etwa 1 cm über den Cardstock hinausragt. Auf diese Auto-Karte habe ich dann das dekorierte Auto aufgeklebt.

 

The card behind the car is also made in the shape of the car. I simply cut it again from a top folding note card, moving the die up a bit. This way the top edge is outside the card base and the fold doesn't get cut. Then I glued the decorated car onto the car shaped card base.

 

Der frühe Waschbär kriegt den Hasen

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute habe ich eine etwas andere Osterkarte - sowohl vom Motiv als auch von den Farben her. Heute werden ja in den meisten Familien Ostereier und -nester gesucht. Nun, ich hoffe, Ihr wohnt nicht neben dem kleinen Waschbären hier. Der ist nämlich noch vor Sonnenaufgang unterwegs gewesen und hat ebenfalls Eier und Nester gesucht. Und gefunden! Und vom Schokohasen hat er, wie hier zu sehen, beim Schein der ersten Sonnenstrahlen schon mal ein Ohr abgebissen....

Today I have a bit of a different easter card to share with you - color and image wise. Today most families search for easter eggs and nests. I really hope you don't live next to this little rascal. Before the sun had risen he was out, looking for eggs and a nest himself. And he found them! In the shine of the very first sunrays he took a bite out of this large chocolate bunny...

 

Der Hintergrund sollte wie Sonnenaufgang aussehen. Also habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstocks mit Distress Ink Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold, Abandoned Coral, Fired Brick und Black Soot gewischt. Dann habe ich durch einen Strahlenstencil weiße Pigmentfarbe aufgetragen. 

 

I wanted the background to look like sunrise. So I inked a piece of white cardstock with Distress Ink Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold, Abandoned Coral, Fired Brick and Black Soot. Then I applied some white pigment ink through a rays stencil. 

 

 Und hier ist der Waschbär in Großaufnahme. 

Nun, eigentlich war die  Karte zuerst ganz anders geplant. Statt des Waschbären wollte ich einen Hasen benutzen, der vom Schokohasen abbeißt. Das Eggstra Special Easter Set von LawnFawn, in dem der Schokohase enthalten ist,  habe ich vor kurzem in einem Flohmarkt gekauft. Als es dann ankam, war ich überrascht, dass der Hase doch um einiges größer ist, als ich gedacht habe. Da war der Hase dann viel zu klein. Außerdem hatte ich irgendwie das Gefühl, ein Hase, der einen Schokohasen isst - ist das dann Kannibalismus? Also habe ich mich für den Waschbären entschieden. Der ist aus einem Stanzenset von Action. Die Arme kann man an Falzlinien nach innen klappen, so dass er den Schokohasen gut halten kann. Ich habe hier zwei Stanzensets kombiniert und dem Waschbären dunkelgraues Fell auf dem Kopf verpasst. Außerdem habe ich mit einem Oval von Spellbinders ein dunkelgraues Stück Cardstock für den Bauch gestanzt. 

Zum Colorieren und Schattieren der Teile aus farbigem Cardstock habe ich Ohuhu Marker benutzt. 

Über dem Waschbären habe ich dann noch eine Sprechblase mit einem aufgestempelten "happy easter" angebracht. Die Sprechblase ist aus dem Set All the Speech Bubbles, der Text darin aus Stamp 'n Stencil Easter Eggs, beides von LawnFawn.

Well, originally I had planned this card completly different. Instead of the rascal I wanted to use a bunny, letting him take a bite out of the chocoloate bunny. I purchased the Eggstra Special Easter set by LawnFawn, that the chocolate bunny comes in, recently in a destash group. When it arrived I was quite surprised how large that bunny is - too large for the bunny I had in mind. And it somehow felt wrong to have  a bunny take a bite out of a chocolate bunny - like some kind of cannibalism. So I changed idea and went with the rascal instead. It's from a die set by Action - the arms are folded in along some score lines and can hold the chocolate bunny easily. I combined two different die sets, giving the rascal a dark grey top of the head. I also used an oval by Spellbinders to cut a dark grey belly.

For my coloring and shading the pieces I had cut from colored cardstock I used Ohuhu markers. 

Above the rascal's head I added a speech bubble with a stamped in "happy easter". The speech bubble is from All the Speech Bubbles, the text from Stamp 'n Stencil Easter Eggs, both by LawnFawn. 

 

 Unten auf der Karte habe ich einige Ostereier um den Waschbären verteilt. Die hat er natürlich auch soeben im Garten gefunden. Auch die Eier sind aus dem Stamp 'n Stencil Easter Set. Wie der Name schon verrät, kommt das Set mit einer passenden Stencil um den Eiern verschiedene Muster zu geben. Ich habe mich für Streifen und Punkte entschieden, wobei ich die Punkte durch den Stencil hindurch mit einem weißen Gelstift nachgemalt habe. 

Und hier unten war dann auch noch Platz für einen weiteren Text. Der ist aus dem Set Eggstra Amazing Easter. Nun, den habe ich in letzter Minute hinzugefügt - hätte ich ihn von vornherein geplant, hätte ich unten mehr Platz dafür gelassen. So musste ich das "and chocolate" eben schräg über der Textzeile angebringen.  Aber es passte einfach zu gut zur Szene um es wegzulassen. Die Texte sind weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

 

In the lower area of the card I put some easter eggs around the rascal. Of course he just found these in his garden. The eggs are also from Stamp 'n Stencil Easter. As the name indicates the stamp set comes with a stencil to add different patterns to the egg. I went with stripes and dots, using a white gel pen to draw the dots onto the eggs, through the stencil.

And here at the bottom there was also room for another text. It's from Eggstra Amazing Easter. Well, I decided last minute to add it - if I had planned it from the beginning I would have left more room. Since there wasn't enough space I had to glue the "and  chocolate" a bit slanted above the long text strip. But it went too good with my scene to leave it out. I white heat embossed the texts onto black cardstock. 

 

 Hinter dem Waschbären habe ich dann noch einige Frühlingsblumen auf dem Hintergrund verteilt - die gehören zu Ostern ja auch irgendwie dazu. 

Ich habe hier die Stanzensets Terrific Tulips und Lovely Lily of the Valley, ebenfalls beide von LawnFawn, benutzt und die Teile aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Dann habe ich sie mit Ohuhu Makern farblich passend zu den Ostereiern - nur zarter - coloriert.

 

Behind the rascal I planted some spring flowers - those just have to be on any easter card.

I used the die sets Terrific Tulips and Lovely Lily of the Valley, both by LawnFawn again, and die cut the pieces from white cardstock. I shaded them with Ohuhu Markers matching the easter eggs, just lighter. 

 

 Die Blumen sind alle direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt, die übrigen Elemente habe ich mit 3D Tape hinterlegt. Zum Schluss habe ich dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I glued the flowers directly onto the background and backed the other elements with foam tape. Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

Gärtnerhase im Frühling

Ich weiß, es ist Ostern. Also habe ich auf meiner nächsten Gast-DT Karte für TheStampStop, die ich Euch heute zeige, zumindest einen Hasen eingebaut. Das ist allerdings nicht der Osterhase, sondern eher ein Gärner-Hase.

I know, it's easter. So I at least included a bunny on this card, that's another card made as a guest designer for TheStampStop and that I am sharing with you today. It's not the easter bunny, but more a gardener bunny.

 

Hier kamen einige Artikel aus dem letzten Release von LawnFawn zum Einsatz - kombiniert mit einigen älteren Sachen. 

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück Watercolor Cardstock, den ich mit Distress Ink Salty Ocean und viel Wasser gestaltet habe. 

Um die Szene habe ich später einen hellblauen Rahmen, gemacht mit einer der Stitched Rectangle Frames Stanzen, gelegt. Meine Szene war etwas zu hoch, also habe ich den Rahmen mit dem Papierschneider schmäler geschnitten und die untere Kante mit Gras abgedeckt. So konnte ich ihn ganz einfach an das deutsche Standard-Kartenmaß anpassen, das zwar etwas schmäler, dafür aber höher ist - und habe alle Motive untergebracht. 

 

Here I used several products from the latest release by LawnFawn - combined with some of their older products. 

The background is made from a piece of watercolor cardstock, that I colored with some Distress Ink Salty Ocean and lots of water.

Later I put a light blue frame, made with one of the Stitched Rectangle Frames, around the scene. My scene was a bit too tall, so I used my paper cutter to cut the frame thinner, the bottom edge is covered by grass. This way I was able to make the frame work on a german standard card size base, that's less wide but taller - and managed to fit in all the images.

 

 Im Hintergrund meiner Karte wachsen einige große Gänseblümchen. 

Ich habe den Big Blossom Backdrop Portrait aus zwei verschiedenen Grüntönen gestanzt und einen davon aufs Gesicht gedreht. So unterscheiden sich die Blumenstängel etwas. Ich habe beide Rahmen leicht in der Höhe versetzt aufeinander geklebt und dann die Blüten aufgeklebt. Pro Blüten habe ich jeweils zwei Stanzteile leicht versetzt aufeinander geklebt, damit sie etwas voller werden. In die Mitte jeder Blüte kam eine orange-gelbe Blütenmitte. 

Hier oben habe ich auch meinen Text untergebracht. Viel Platz war dafür ja nicht, also habe ich das "it's spring" aus dem ebenfalls neuen A Mole Lot of Flowers Stempelset weiß auf dunkelgrünen Cardstock embosst und mittig zwischen die Blüten gesetzt. 

Ich habe alle Stanzeteile auf der Karte mit Ohuhu Markern schattiert. Die meisten waren aus farbigem Cardstock gestanzt, nur die weißen Blüten und der Hase natürlich aus weißem.  

 

Iin the background of my scene there are a few large daisies. 

I die cut the Big Blossoms Backdrop Portrait from two different shades of green cardstock and turned one of them onto the face. This way the stems go in slightly different directions. I glued both frames onto each other, moving the one in the back up a bit, then added the flowers. I die cut two for each of my flowers and glued them onto each other a bit offset to make them appear fuller. Into the center of each flower I glued an orange-yellow flower center.

Here, in the upper area of my card, I also added the text of my card. There wasn't a lot of space for it left on my card. So I white heat embossed the "it's spring" from the also new A Mole Lot of Flowers stamp set onto dark green cardstock and adhered it between the flowers.

I shaded all the die cuts on this card with Ohuhu markers. Most of them I had cut from colored cardstock, only the flowers and the bunny were of course cut from white cardstock. 

 

Im unteren Bereich der  Karte ist dann der kleine Hase fleißig dabei, den Garten wieder neu zu bepflanzen und fit für Frühling und Sommer zu machen.  

Im Hintergrund steht die Schubkarre, gemacht mit dem Build a Wheelbarrow Set. Die Metallteile sind aus matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock. 

Die Erde in der Schubkarre ist mit einer Stanze aus dem Set Build a Jack-o-Lantern gemacht und eigentlich die "Innerei" der Kürbislaterne. Zwei davon passen aber, aus braunem Cardstock gestanzt, perfekt als Erdhaufen in die Schubkarre. 

In der Erde sitzt ein kleiner Wurm. Er ist aus dem Set A Bug Deal und in No-Line-Technik coloriert, damit er optisch zu den gestanzten Motiven passt. Nun schaute er mir irgendwie in die falsche Richtung, und damit ins Nichts. Deswegen habe ich kurzerhand auch noch die kleine Raupe aus dem selben Set auf die Karte gepackt. Beim Ausschneiden habe ich dann aber die Füße weggeschnitten, das ging hier nicht anders, macht die Raupe aber nicht weniger hübsch.

Vor der Schubkarre steht ein Blumentopf mit Setzling sowie ein Stapel noch leerer Blumentöpfe. Auch die sind aus dem Build a Wheelbarrow Set. 

Und auch der Hase ganz rechts auf der Karte hat einen bereits gefüllten Blumentopf in den Händen/Pfoten.  Der Hase ist natürlich mit dem Build-a-Bunny Set gemacht. Ich habe mich für die stehende Variante entschieden. Auf dem Kopf trägt er einen Strohhut. Für den musste ich ein wenig kreativ werden. Ich habe ihn aus Teilen aus dem Build a Critter Costumes Set zusammengebaut: der Kragen des Capes für den hinteren Teil des Huts, den unteren Teil des Hexenhuts und dahinter den Piratenhut. Überstehendes habe ich einfach weggeschnitten. Die Naht der beiden vorderen Hutteile wird vom Hutband verdeckt, das mit einer Blume aus dem Build a Wheelbarrow Set dekoriert ist.

 

In the lower area of teh card there's the little bunny, working hard to re-plant the garden and making it nice for spring and summer.

In the background there's the wheelbarrow, made with the Build a Wheelbarrow die. I die cut the metall frame from matte-silver metallic cardstock.

The soil in the wheelbarrow is made using a die from Build a Jack-o-Lantern and originally designed to cut the pumpkin "guts". But two of these, cut from brown cardstock, make the perfect amount of soil to fill the wheelbarrow.

In the soil there's a little worm. It's from A Bug Deal and colored in no-line technique to make it go with the die cut scene. Well, to me he looked into the wrong direction and into the nothing. So I also added the little caterpillar from the same set. When cutting that out I had to cut off the thin legs and feet, though, but that doesn't make this caterpillar any less beautiful.

In front of the wheelbarrow there's a flower pot, that's already filled, and a pile of still empty ones. Again those are made using dies from Build a Wheelbarrow.

And also the bunny on the right side is holding a flower pot with a little plant in his hands/paws. Of course I used the Build-a-Bunny set to cut the bunny and went with the standing version. On his head there's a large straw hat. To make that I had to do some thinking outside the box and built it from different dies from Build a Critter Costumes: the collar of the cape for the back piece, the bottom of the witch's hat and the pirate hat behind it. I simply cut off any overhang. The seam of those two hat parts in the front is covered by the hat band, that I decorated with a small flower from Build a Wheelbarrow.

 

 Im unteren Bereich der Karte habe ich dann noch zwei Lagen Gras aufgeklebt - auch um, wie schon erwähnt, den unteren Teil des hellblauen sowie der Blumen-Rahmen zu verdecken. Diese Grasteile sind ein wenit mit Mowed Lawn gewischt. 

Die Graslagen samt den Motiven darauf habe ich dann mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Und auch die beiden Blüten ganz oben sowie den Text habe ich damit hinterlegt.

Zum Schluss habe ich dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

In the lower area of the card I added two layers of grass - not just as a ground for my scene but, as mentioned alreadym also to cover up the bottom edge of the light blue frame and the two flower frames. I inked both grass layers with a bit of Distress Ink Mowed Lawn.

I adhered each grass layer with the elements on top with foam tape and put some small pieces of that also behind the heads of the largest flowers and the text.

Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Frühlingsgrüße

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

So langsam neigt sich die Zeit  der Frühlingsblüher dem Ende entgegen - vor allem beim Basteln. Ich wollte aber unbedingt noch die Blumen aus dem Set Kleine Frühlingsblumen von CreativeDepot benutzen. Und so ist diese Frühlingskarte entstanden.

The time of those spring bulbs is coming to an end - especially in my crafts. But I really wanted to use the flowers from Kleine Frühlingsblumen by CreativeDepot. And so I made this spring card.

 

Der Hintergrund besteht hier aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks. Den habe ich mit Masking Tape so beklebt, dass vier gleichgroße Rechtecke mittig  frei bleiben. Die habe ich dann mit Distress Ink Salvaged Patina und Peacock Feathers gewischt. 

Nach dem Abziehen des Tapes habe ich dann hellgoldene Metallic Watercolor auf den Cardstock gespritzt.

 

The background is made from a piece of white cardstock. I used masking tape to cover the cardstock, leaving four rectangles of the same size free. I inked these with Distress Ink Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers.

After peeling the masking tape off I added splatters of light gold metallic watercolor to the cardstock.

 

 Die hellblauen Rechtecke sind nun der Hintergrund für meine Blumen.

Ich habe vier Blumentöpfe aus einem Stanzenset von MarianneDesign gestanzt, in die ich dann die Blumen gepflanzt habe. In den oberen Rechtecken sind das links Osterglocken und rechts Löwenzahn

Alle Elemente der Karte habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Ohuhu Markern coloriert. 

 

Those light blue rectangles are the backdrop for my flowers.

I die cut four flower pots from a die set by MarianneDesign and put the flowers into them. In those upper rectangles I used daffodils and dandelions.

I die cut all element on the card from white cardstock and colored them with Ohuhu markers.

 

 Im unteren rechten Fenster befinden sich Schneeglöckchen. 

Im linken habe ich dann ein wenig Ostern mit eingebaut. Ich habe kleine Hasenohren in den Topf gesetzt und davor einen Schokohasen und zwei Ostereier geklebt. Die Hasenohren sind aus Minihasenohrenset von Steckenpferdchen, der Hase aus dem Postage Collage Bunny Silhouette Set von WaffleFlower, die Ostereier aus dem Ostereier-Set von CreativeDepot. 

In diesem Fenster war dann auch noch genug Platz für meinen Text. Ich habe mit Stempeln aus dem Set Kleine Worte von Stampcorner "Frühlingsgrüße" zweizeilig weiß auf grünen Cardstock embosst und ausgeschnitten.

 

In the lower right window there are some snowdrops.

With the content of the left one I added a touch of easter to the card. I put some small bunny ears into the flower pot and glued a chocolat bunny and two easter eggs in front of it.  The bunny ears are from Minihasenohrenset by Steckenpferdchen, the bunny is from Postage Collage Bunny Silhouette by WaffleFlower, the easter eggs from Ostereier by CreativeDepot.

In this window there was also enough room for my text. I white heat embossed "spring greetings" onto green cardstock and cut it out.

 

 Die Blumentöpfe habe ich dann mit dünnem 3D Tape auf die blauen Rechtecke geklebt und in jedes noch ein kleines weißes Herz eingebaut.

Den Cardstock habe ich dann hellblau gemattet und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I adhered the flower pots with thin foam tape onto the blue rectangles and added a white clay heart to each of them.

I matted the decorated cardstock light blue and then glued it onto a white note card.

 

One-Layer-Osterkarte

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Thematisch bleiben wir bei Ostern, aber heute habe ich mal eine One-Layer-Card für Euch. Die mache ich ja wirklich selten, aber hier passte es einfach. Und so ganz wirklich ist es gar keine One-Layer-Card, denn der Hase, der vorne hinter einem Busch verschwindet, ist gestanzt und dann in einen Schlitz zwischen den Büschen gesteckt. Aber ich hatte da einfach keinen passenden Stempel.

I'm sticking to the easter theme, but today I have a one layer card to share. I make these very rarely, but here it was the perfect way to go. And it actually isn't a one layer card - the little bunny, that's just hopping behind a bush, is actually made with a die and then tucked into a slit, that I cut between the bushes. I just didn't have a bunny stamp that would have worked.

 

Hauptelement der Karte ist natürlich das Haus mit der großen Front Porch. Und genauso heißt dann auch der Stempel von Sweet November Stamps, den ich hier verwendet habe: Front Porch Background. Er ist eigentlich noch viel größer, ich habe einfach den Ausschnitt verwendet, der am besten für meine Szene passte. 

Alle anderen Motive habe ich dann per Masking hinzugefügt. Ja, das war einiges an Arbeit, aber am Ende jede Minute davon wert.

 

Main element on my card is the house with the large front porch. And that's also what the stamp by Sweet November Stamps that I used here is called: Front Porch Background. It acutally is much larger, I simply picked the part that worked best for my scene.

I did masking to add all the other images. Yes, that was a labor of love, but in the end worth every minute. 

 

 

Auf  der Veranda habe ich neben die Tür ein Fass mit Osterglocken und einem Happy-Easter-Schild hinzugefügt. Dieses Schild bildet dann auch gleich den Text meiner Karte. Fass und Osterglocken sind aus dem Sets Auf dem Markt Weihnachts-AddOn und Auf dem Markt Frühlings-AddOn von Create a Smile, das Schild samt Text aus den Sets Spring Basket und Carrot 'bout You von LawnFawn. 

An die Tür habe ich einen Kranz gehängt. Der ist eigentlich ein Weihnachtskranz aus dem Set Car Critters Christmas AddOn von LawnFawn, mit kleinen orangefarbenen Blüten darin passt er aber auch super zum Frühling.  

Die selben Blüten habe ich auch auf den Baum aufgetragen, den ich rechts hinter das Haus gepflanzt habe. Der ist aus dem Set Scene Builder von MFT. Die Blüten habe ich erst mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgetupft, um das Grün abzudecken, und sie später mit einem orangefarbenen Glaze Pen übermalt.  

 

I stamped a barrel with daffodils and a happy easter sign nexxt to the door. The sign also shows  the only text I added to the card. The barrel and the daffodils are by Create a Smile, the sign and text from Spring Basekt and Carrot 'bout You by LawnFawn. 

I've hung a wreath to the door. Oringially it is a christmas wreath from Car Critters Christmas AddOn by LawnFawn but with some tiny orange blossoms it also works on a spring card.

I placed the same blossoms onto the tree that I stamped behind the right side of the house. It's from Scene Builder by MFT. For the blossoms I first added small dots with a white gel pen to cover up the green, then later went over them with an orange Glaze pen.

 

 Im unteren Bereich habe ich vor das Haus Büsche und Osterglocken gestempelt. Die Osterglocken hier sind aus dem Set Spring Basekt von LawnFawn, die Büsche eigentlich Wolken aus den Sets Scene Builder und Piggie Pebbles von MFT. Richtig coloriert, fällt das aber gar nicht auf.

Vorne rechts habe vor dem Busch ein Osternest versteckt. Das Nest ist aus dem Set Silly Goose von LawnFawn. Ich habe das einzelne Ei darin wegmaskiert und stattdessen den Schokohasen samt Küken und Ei dahinter aus Spring Basket hineingestempelt. Rechts neben den Schokohasen habe ich dann noch zwei weitere Eier gesetzt. 

Und der schon erwähnte Hase auf der linken Seite der Karte ist mit einer Stanze aus dem Postage Collage Bunny Silhouettes Set von WaffleFlower. Ich habe ihn aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert - ausnahmsweise mal in Braun. Warum auch immer sind Hasen bei mir sonst meist weiß. 

 

In the lower half of the card I stamped some bushes and daffodils onto the lawn. The daffodils are from Spring Basket by LawnFawn, the bushes are originally cloud images from Scene Builder and Piggie Pebbles by MFT. Colored green it's not visible anymore, that these are clouds.

I've hidden an easter basekt in front of the bushes on the right side of the card. The nest is from Silly Goose by LawnFawn. I masked off the single egg in it and instead filled it with the chocolat bunny, chickie and egg from Spring Basket. Then I added two more single eggs to the right of the bunny.

And the already mentioned bunny on the left side of the card is made using a die from Postage Collage Bunny Silhouettes by WaffleFlower. I die cut it from white cardstock and colored it with Copics - for a change I used browns. I don't know why, but usually my bunnies are all white.

 

 Ich habe noch einige weitere einzelne Eier in die Szene gestempelt and dann alles mit Copics coloriert. Die Highlights und einige Details habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift hinzugefügt. 

Zum Schluss habe ich meinen Cardstock mit Motiv dann auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I added a few single eggs to the scene and then colored everything with Copics. The highlights and some details I drew in with a white gel pen.

Then I glued the cardstock with the scene onto a white note card.

Auf dieser Karte habe ich die Vögel aus dem Birdie-Set von CreativeDepot verarbeitet, die für mich definitiv Hühner sind und nicht nur für Ostern gehen.

On this card I used some birds images from the Birdie set by CreativeDepot - and for me these are chickens and work not only for Easter.

 

Eine meiner Töchter ist von der Art her in manchen Bereichen ganz anders als ich, und das ist gut und okay so. Aber wenn man dann etwas länger zusammen ist, kann das auch zu Reibereien führen. Sie ist außerdem wahnsinnig sensibel - und ich ein Overthinker. Nach dem letzten Vorfall dieser Art habe ich für sie diese Karte gemacht.

Für den Kartenaufleger habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstocks in Höhe und Breite jeweils 1 cm kleiner als einen Kartenrohling geschnitten und feine Splatter mit schwarzer Acrylfarbe aufgetragen. Den unteren Bereich des Cardstocks habe ich dabei bewusst ausgelassen.

 

One of my daughters is very different than me in a few areas of life, and that's good and fine. But when we are together for a longer period of time then it can lead to (small) fights. She's also very sensitive and I am an overthinker. So after we had a little fight a bit a go I made this card for her.

For the card panel I cut a piece of white cardstock, 1 cm smaller both in width and length than my card base. Then I splattered black acrylic paint onto the panel, leaving out the bottom area on purpose.

 

 In dem Vogel-Set gibt es vier verschiedene "Hühner", alle schauen in die selbe Richtung. Ich habe das einfachste davon drei Mal  und eines mit gestreiftem Pulli einmal abgestempelt. Damit dieses anders aussehende Huhn auch noch in die andere Richtung schaut, habe ich es beim Stempeln gespiegelt. Außerdem habe ich das Herz im Flügel nicht und stattdessen eines auf die Brust gestempelt. 

Die "normalen" Hühner habe ich dann in Grau coloriert und nur den Kamm auf dem Kopf und die Schwanzfedern rot eingefärbt. 

Das detailiertere Huhn habe ich hellblau coloriert, Kamm, Schwanfedern und Flügel in rot und den Pulli rot-rosa gestreift coloriert. Mit einem weißen Gelstift habe ich dann noch Punkte auf den Flügel gemalt. 

Ebenfalls von CreativeDepot, aus dem Set Ostereierkranz Mittel, habe ich die Eier gestanzt. Auch hier sind drei Eier hellgrau und eines rot mit weißen Punkten coloriert.

Zum Colorieren habe ich die Ohuhu Marker verwendet. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob sie meine Copics komplett ersetzen können, einige Farbtöne, vor allem im hellen Bereich, fehlen mir trotzdem. Und das Rosa hatte ich mir vom Ton her anders vorgestellt, aber keine passende Marker-Kombo gefunden. Aber ich übe weiter. 

Als Hintergrund für die Hühner habe ich dann vier gleich große Rechtecke geschnitten - drei aus grauem und eines aus hellblauem Cardstock. Die grauen habe ich gerade aufgeklebt und auch die grauen Hühner schon in Reih und Glied darauf gesetzt. Die Eier habe ich an jeweils der selben Stelle aufgeklebt. Das hellblaue Rechteck habe ich dann etwas schräg und auch das Huhn und das gepunktete Ei schräg darauf gesetzt.

Der Text ist ebenfalls aus dem Birdie-Set.  Ich habe einen davon entlang des hellblauen Cardstock-Rechtecks um die Ecke gestempelt, den anderen, der nur ein Teil eines Textes ist, darunter. Beide habe ich mit schwarzer Tinte direkt auf den Kartenaufleger gestempelt. 

 

In the Birdie set there are four different "chickens", all look in the same direction. I stamped the most simple one three times and one with a striped shirt one time. To make this last one not only look different but also look in the other direction I mirrored it when stamping it. I also didn't stamp the small heart in the wing and added a larger one to the chest instead. 

I colored the "normal" chickens in greys and only used  some red for the comb and tail feathers. 

The more detailed chicken I colored a light blue, used red for the comb, tail feathers and wing and did the stripes on the shirt in pink and red. Then I used a white gel pen to add some dots to the wing.

The small eggs are from the Ostereierkranz Mittel die set, also by CreativeDepot. Again I colored three of them in greys and one in reds. 

To color the imaegs I used my Ohuhu Markers again. I am not sure if these can replace my Copics completly because I am really missing some colors, especially light ones. I also imagined the pink in the shirt a different shade but wasn't able to find such a marker combo. But I'll keep on practicing.

As a backdrop for the chickens I cut four rectangles in the same size - three from grey and one from light blue cardstock. I glued the grey ones straight onto the background and then added the chickens on top, also all lined up and straight. The eggs I put onto the same spot under each chicken. The light blue rectangle I glued down slanted and did the same with the chicken and the egg.

The text is also from the Birdie set. It means "you are great just the way you are - I love you". I stamped one of the texts along the edges of the rectangle, stamping it around the corner, then stamped the "I love you" under it. All the texts are stamped directly onto the background using black ink.

 

 Die Hühner sind jeweils mit 3D Tape auf die Rechtecke  geklebt, das hellblaue Rechteck habe ich dann noch als einziges ebenfalls mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

Zum Schluss habe ich dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. Zuerst wollte ich den dekorierten Cardstock matten, fand aber gerade das simple toll und habe auf die Mattung verzichtet.

 

I used foam tape to glue the chickens onto the rectangles, then also put foam tape only behind the light blue rectangle.

Then I just adhered the card panel to a white note card. I originally had planned to mat it, but then liked the simple way a lot better and skipped the mat.

 

Geburtstags-PopUp-Karte mit Folie

Heute habe ich eine Geburtstagskarte in grau, weiß, schwarz und rot für Euch. Ich habe dafür die Birthday Trifold Stanzen von ScrappyTails benutzt, wollte aber  keine Trifold Karte machen. Stattdessen ist eine Art Aufstellerkarte in 3D entstanden.

Today I have a grey, white, black and red birthday card to share. I used the Birthday Trifold die set by ScrappyTails but didn't want to make a trifold card. Instead I made some kind of 3D PopUp Card.

 

 Die Motive auf meiner Karte scheinen zu schweben - kein Wunder, denn ich habe die Kartenbasis aus fester Folie gestanzt. Mann kann es auf den Bildern ein wenig erkennen.

Unten habe ich dann den nach vorne/unten klappenden Teil der Trifold PopUp Card Base angeklebt - die Klebelasche wird von den Geschenken davor verdeckt. Die Base habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und verdoppelt, damit sie schön stabil ist.

 

The images on my card seem to flaot - no wonder, I made the card byse from quite thick acetate. You can kind of see it in the pictures.

At the bottom I glued the piece from the Trifold PopUp Card Base set, that fold open/down - the flap with the glue gets covered by the presents. I cut the base from black cardstock and doubled it up to make it nice and sturdy.

 

 Die Luftballons und Girlanden mit dem Text sind aus dem Birthday Trifold AddOn. Die Ballons habe ich aus rotem und matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock gestanzt, außerdem alle Teile einmal aus schwarzem Cardstock.

Die Fähnchen mit den ausgestanzten Buchstaben habe ich aus grauem Cardstock gestanzt, weiß hinterlegt und dann auf die schwarzen Fähnchengirlanden geklebt. 

 

The balloons and garlands with the text are from Birthday Trifold AddOn. I cut the balloons from red and matte silver metallic cardstock and also cut all the pieces one from black cardstock.

I cut the banners with the cut out letters from grey cardstock, put white cardstock behind them and then adhered them to the black banners.  

 

 Die Geschenke sind in zwei Reihen auf den ausklappenden Teil der Karte geklebt und mit Stanzen aus dem Set Birthday Presents Trifold AddOn. Außerdem habe ich den Cupcake und die Schleife aus dem Birthday Essentials Set mit eingebaut. Die Schleife habe ich an die Geschenktüten geklebt. Eigentlich befindet sich auf der hier vorderen Lage ein ganz hohes Geschenk. Ich habe das weggeschnitten und noch eine weitere Geschenktüte eingebaut. Die habe ich mit einer Geschenkstanze gemacht und daran dann den Griff und das herausragende Papier angeklebt. 

Ich habe alle Teile aus farbigem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Aloholmarkern schattiert - allerdings nicht mit Copics. Ich muss gestehen, ich bin wahnsinnig genervt und sauer darüber, dass Copic das Qualitätsproblem offenbar nicht in den Griff bekommt und habe keine Lust mehr, ständig viel Geld für Stifte auszugeben, die dann doch nicht funktionieren. Ich war vor etwas 2 Jahren schon einmal an diesem Punkt und habe mir damals die Ohuhu Marker gekauft - das volle Set. Allerdings ist es damit tatsächlich wie komplett neu anfangen, denn ich kenne die Farbkombis etc nicht, was bei Copics nach gut 15 Jahren Nutzung natürlich anders ist. Aber  nun habe ich sie hervorgeholt und versuche, mich einzuarbeiten. Und da ist das Schattieren von farbigem Cardstock natürlich einfacher als auf weißem Cardstock zu colorieren. Positiv war natürlich schon mal, dass auch nach über 2 Jahren Lagerung ohne Nutzung nicht ein einziger Stift eingetrocknet war. Ich werde weiter berichten!

Die Geschenke mit ausgestanzten Mustern habe ich mit schwarzem Cardstock und weißem Glitter-Cardstock hinterlegt, das Papierförmchen des Cupcakes und die Details am Partyhut sind aus silbernem Hologramm-Cardstock gestanzt. Auf das hohe Geschenk in der hinteren Reihe habe ich Streifen aus schwarzem Cardstock aufgeklebt. 

 

I added two rows of presents to the bottom part, that pops open, using dies from Birthday Presents Trifold AddOn. I also included the cupcake and the bow from Birthday Essentials. The bow I glued to the giftbags. Originally there's a tall presents in the row I put in the front. I cut it off and added another giftbag that I created with a present die that I added the handle and paper to.  

I cut all pieces from colored cardstock and shaded them with alcohol markers - but not with Copics. I have to admit that I am done - and really pi**ed - that Copic doesn't seem to be able to get their quality issues corrected. And I am done with buying new markers all the time that stop working in like no time. About 2 years ago I was at the same point and ordered the Ohuhu markers - the full set. But it feels like having to learn coloring all over again because I don't know color combintions etc like I do after 15 years of using Copics. But now I brought them out and am trying to get used to them. Of course shading colored cardstock is a lot easier than coloring on white cardstock. The first positive thing I realized was that there wasn't a single dried out marker in my bag, even after the more than 2 years that they were sitting around. I am going to keep you updated with my opinion!

I backed the presents with a cut out pattern with black cardstock and white glitter cardstock, the paper liner of the cupcake and the details of the party hat I cut from silver holographic cardstock. To the tall present in the second row I added some black paper strips.

 

 Hier sieht man den Abstand, den die Geschenke zur Rückseite haben. Die vordere Reihe habe ich an der Stelle angebracht, an der der Schlitz für die Lasche gestanzt wird. Die hintere Reihe habe ich dann mittig zwischen die vordere Reihe und die Rückseite gesetzt. Zwischen den Lagen befinden sich jeweils gefaltete Cardstockstreifen, so dass die Geschenke beim Aufklappen aufstehen und auch nicht umkippen können. 

 

Here you can see the distance between the presents and the base. I adhered the front row in the spot, where the slit for the flap gets cut into the bottom. The back row I put centered between the front row and the clear back. There are folded cardstock pieces between the layers that make the presents pop up when the flap gets folded open and also keep the different layers from tipping over. 

 

 So sieht die Karte zusammengeklappt aus. Die Geschenkreihen falten sich dabei nach oben.

 

This is what my card looks like closed. The rows of presents fold up when the card gets closed. 

 

 

Die Banner mit dem Text habe ich mit dickem 3D Tape auf die Folien-Rückseite geklebt. Drumherum habe ich einige rote und silberne Sternkonfetti aufgeklebt und an das Geschenk mit dem Partyhut ein kleines hellrotes Herz angebracht. 

 

I used thick foam tape to adhere the banners with the text to the acetate base. Then I added some red and silver star confetti around them and glued a light red clay heart to the present with the party hat.
