Heute habe ich gleich noch eine Unterwasser-Karte für Euch. Und wieder kam dafür einiges aus dem Mai-Release von WaffleFlower zum Einsatz.

Today I have another underwater card for you. And again I used a few products from the may release by WaffleFlower on it.

 

Das U-Boot war ein Must Have für mich und das muss natürlich am Meeresgrund entlang gleiten. 

Der Hintergrund besteht hier aus einem Stück hellblauen Cardstocks. Mit Distress Ink Blueprint Sketch und ein wenig Chipped Sapphire und einer der Under the Sea Background Stencils habe ich die Wellen im Hintergrund aufgewischt. Die Stencil ist so gestaltet, dass man sie frei auf dem Cardstock nach oben und unten bewegen kann und da ich eine hochkantige Karte gemacht habe, habe ich die eine Seite weiter oben, die andere weiter unten aufgewischt. Dann habe ich ein wenig Wasser auf die Farben gespritzt.

Nach dem Trocknen habe ich dann noch ein paar Fischschwärme sowie einige Quallen mit Blueprint Sketch aufgestempelt.  

 

The submarine was a must have to me and of course it has to float deep down in the ocean. 

The background is made from a piece of light blue cardstock. I added the waves with Distress Ink Blueprint Sketch and  a bit of Chipped Sapphire and one of the stencils from Under the Sea Background. The stencil is designed so you can move it up and down freely. Since I made a portrait style card I stenciled the one side edge to the top and the other one a bit further down. Then I added some fine water droplets to the ink.

After the water had dried I stamped some school of fish and a few jellyfish onto the background using Blueprint Sketch.  

 

 Hier seht Ihr das U-Boot genauer. Und auch wenn ich etwas gedecktere Farben verwendet habe, natürlich musste es gelb werden! 

Ich habe die Teile aus farbigem Carstock gestanzt, für die Metall-Elemente habe ich matt-silbernen Metallic-Cardstock benutzt. Hinter die Fenster habe ich erst eine Lage Folie und dann hellblauen Cardstock gesetzt. Und natürlich musste ein Passagier ins U-Boot. Und so grüßt hier nun ein kleiner Krebs fröhlich winkend seine Freunde im Meer. Ich hatte keinen Krebs, der klein genug gewesen wäre, um hinter das Fenster zu passen. Also habe ich einfach einen selbst gezeichnet. 

Das U-Boot wird von einigen Fischen begleitet. Sie sind aus dem Set Postage Collage Fish und jeweils aus Teilen aus hell- und dunkelgelbem sowie hellgrünem Cardstock zusammengesetzt. Da ich alle Fische in die selbe Richtung wie das U-Boot schwimmen lassen wollte, habe ich den Kugelfisch einfach mit der "unschönen" Seite nach oben gedreht. 

 

 Here you can see the submarine better. And even if I used some more muted colors, of course it had to be yellow!

I die cut the pieces from colored cardstock, for the metall elements I used matte silver metallic cardstock. Behind the windows I first glued a layer of acetate, then some light blue cardstock. And of course there had to be a passenger in the submarine. And that's why a little crab is happily waving at his friends out in the ocean. I didn't have a crab image small enough to fit behind the window so I drew a simple one myself. 

The sumbarine is accompanied by some fish. These are from Postage Collage Fish and each put together from pieces cut from light and dark yellow and light green cardstock. I wanted all fish to swim in the same direction as the submarine so with the puffer fish I turned the "ugly" side up.

 

 Am unteren Ende der Karte habe ich dann den Meeresboden gestaltet. Für die Sandlagen habe ich mit einem Bleistift die Kanten desselben Stencils, den ich auch für die Wellen verwendet habe, auf hellgelben Cardstock übertragen und mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy und weiße Acrylfarbe für ein wenig Textur aufgespritzt. 

Die Pflanzen, die hier wachsen, sind aus dem Set Under the Sea. Ich habe sie wieder aus farbigem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Forest Moss, Mowed Lawn sowie Brushed Corduroy gewischt. Nach dem Aufkleben der Pflanzen habe ich noch einige Seesterne aus dem selben Set aus hellgelbem und hellblauem Cardstock gestanzt und auf dem Sand verteilt.

 

At the bottom of the card I created a sandy ground. For the sand layers I used the same stencil that I had used to ink the waves onto the blue cardstock and traced the edges of two of those waves onto light yellow cardstock with a pencil. Then I cut them out with my scissors and added fine splatteres of Brushed Corduroy and white acrylic paint. 

The plants, that are growing down here, are from Under the Sea. Again I cut them from colored cardstock and shaded them with Distress Ink Forest Moss, Mowed Lawn and some Brushed Corduroy. After adhering the  plants I added some star fish from the same set, cut from light yellow and light blue cardstock, to the sand. 

 

 Im oberen Bereich der Karte habe ich meinen Text direkt  auf  den Hintergrund gestempelt. Er ist aus dem Set Pool Party von LawnFawn, das Hi habe ich zusammengesetzt, da es nur ein hello im Set gab, das aber zu groß war. Der Text ist weiß embosst. 

 

Along the top edge of the card I added my text. It's from Pool Party by LawnFawn, the hi I put together because there only was a hello in the set, but it was too large for the space I had. I white heat embossed the text directly onto the background.

 

 Ich habe die einzelnen Lagen mit 3D Tape zusammengeklebt und dann klar-irisierende Pailetten als Blasen überall auf der Karte verteilt. Die Seesterne habe ich dann noch ein wenig mit Stickles beglittert und zum Schluss alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I used foam tape to put the scene together and then glued some clear iridescent sequins all over the card as bubbles. I also applied some Stickles onto the star fish. Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Eine hummermäßig tolle Karte

Ihr wisst ja, maritim und ich sind nur im Sommer Freunde. Da ich aber dieses Jahr schon zwei Mal am Meer war hat mich das Mai-Release von WaffleFlower total abgeholt. Und in den Hummer war ich sofort verliebt. Er ziert meine erste Karte mit dem Release.

You already know it, maritime and I are only friends during summer. But I have already been at the ocean two times this year and so the may release by WaffleFlower was completly down my alley. I immediately fell in love with the lobster and so I used it on my first card with this release.

Der Hintergrund besteht aus blauem Cardstock. Auf den habe ich dann mit Distress Ink Faded Jeans und Chipped Sapphire sowie ein wenig Black Soot den Meereshintergrund gewischt. Im Hintergrund liegt noch ein Schiffswrack am Grund und etwas weiter vorne wachsen einige Korallen. Ich habe hier die Stencil Sets Under the Sea Background und Seafloor Silhouettes kombiniert. 

The background is made from blue cardstock. I used Distress Ink Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire and a bit of Black Soot to add the waves. There's also a ship wreck down on the ground and in the foreground a the silhouettes of a few corals are visible. I combined the stencil sets Under the Sea Background and Seafloor Silhouettes here.

Hier könnt Ihr das Schiffswrack besser sehen, es wurde  im Lauf des Basteln ein wenig von anderen Elementen verdeckt. 

Mit einem Stempel aus dem Set Postage Collage Coral Reef Silhouettes und schwarzer Tinte habe ich dann noch einige kleine Fische aufgestempelt. Anschließend habe ich die Blasen hinzugefügt. Auch dafür gibt es ein Stencilset in dem Release, ich habe aber einen Konfetti-Stencil von MFT benutzt und die Blasen mit silberner Glitterpaste aufgetragen.

 

Here you get a better look at the ship wreck, during creating the card I partly covered it with other elements. 

I used black ink and a stamp from Postage Collage Coral Reef Silhouettes to stamp a few small fish onto the background. Then I added the bubbles. There's also a stencil in that release but I used a confetti stencil by MFT to create the bubbles  with silver glitter paste. 

Und hier ist der Happy Lobster - ich finde den so knuffig wie er gut gelaunt hinter den Korallen hervorwinkt. Von der Relation zu den Korallen ist er vielleicht ein wenig groß, aber wer weiß denn genau, was sich da am Meeresboden so alles tummelt....

Ich habe alle Elemente auf der Karte aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Inks gewischt. Für den Hummer kamen Salvaged Patina, Broken China, Uncharted Mariner, Saltwater Taffy, Victorian Velvet sowie an den Scheren etwas Black Soot zum Einsatz. Den Bereich hinter dem Mund habe ich mit Abandoned Coral über das Uncharted Mariner gelegt. Dann habe ich auf den Hummer silberne Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt. Die Antennen sowie einige weitere kleine  Bereiche am Kopf und den Scheren habe ich mit Stickles beglittert. 

Und weil auf meiner Karte bei bestem Willen kein Platz für einen Text war, habe ich über dem Hummer eine Sprechblase mit einem Herz angebracht. Die sind aus dem Set Happy Submarine.

 

And here's the Happy Lobster - I just love him and the way he's happily waving from behind some corals. He might not be the right size compared to those corals but do we really know what is living on the bottom of the ocean...?

I die cut all elements on my card from white cardstock and inked them with Distress Inks. For the lobster I used Salvaged Patina, Broken China, Uncharted Mariner, Saltwater Taffy, Vicotrian Velvet and a bit  of Black Soot at the tips of the claws. I applied some Abandoned Coral over the Uncharted Mariner behind the mouth. Then I added splatters of silver metallic watercolor. Onto the antennas and a few small areas on the head and claws I applied a thin layer of Stickles. 

And because there was no way to add a sentiment to this card I glued a speech bubble with a heart in it above the lobster's head. Those are from Happy Submarine.  

 

Den Sandboden habe ich mit den Stitched Waves von LawnFawn gemacht. Aus dem Sand wachsen die Korallen und einige Wasserpflanzen. Die sind aus den Sets Coral Reef und Under the Sea. Sie sind mit Distress Inks Speckled Egg, Weathered Wood und  Uncharted Mariner bzw. Saltwater Taffy, Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral und ein wenig Lumberjack Plaid gewischt. Bei den Korallen habe ich die große Pflanze rechts weggeschnitten und weil ich die Stencil zum Colorieren nicht habe, habe ich den Hintergrund zweimal ausgestanzt, einmal die blaue Pflanze in der Mitte und einmal die Korallen gewischt, die dann ausgeschnitten und auf den anderen Hintergrund geklebt. Das funktioniert echt super. 

Die Teile habe ich dann mit roter bzw. türkisgrüner Metallic-Watercolor und anschließend weißer Acrylfarbe bespritzt. Davon kam auch etwas auf den Sandboden sowie die kleinen Seesterne aus dem Set Under the  Sea.

 

The sandy ground I created with the Stitched Waves by LawnFawn. Out of the ground there are some corals and underwater plants growing. Those are from Coral Reef and Under the Sea. I inked them with Distress Ink  Inks Speckled Egg, Weathered Wood and  Uncharted Mariner or Saltwater Taffy, Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral and a bit Lumberjack Plaid. With the Coral Reef die I cut off the large  plant on the right. And because I didn't buy the coloring stencils for those I cut two of them, inked either the blue plant or the corals, then cut the corals out and glued them onto the other die cut. That worked great  here. 

I splattered red or blue-ish green metallic watercolor and white acrylic paint onto the pieces. I also applied some of the white onto the sandy ground and the little star fish from Under the Sea.  

Zusammengesetzt habe ich die Szene dann mit dickem und dünnem 3D Tape und zum Schluss alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I put the scene together with thin and thick foam tape and then glued the card panel to a white note card. 

Das erste Mal Craft Roulette

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Kennt Ihr Craft Roulette? Es ist eine Mitmach-Challenge, die jeden Freitag auf FB live gestreamt wird, jedes Mal ist ein anderer Gast eingeladen. Per "Roulette"-Rad, gefüllt mit diversen Bastelvorgaben, wird je ein Parameter zu Projekt, Farbe, Element und "Random" ermittelt, die es dann gilt, auf einer Karte umzusetzen. Und Mary Gunn, die die Show leitet, und der jeweilige Gast tun das dann live. Als Zuschauer hat man bis Sonntag Abend US-Zeit, um eine Karte einzureichen. Das waren jetzt mal ganz grob die Basisbedingungen. 

Ich schaue die Show wirklich gerne - nicht live, denn zu der Zeit schlafe ich normalerweise - und manchmal ergibt das Rad die wildesten Mischungen. Bis jetzt habe ich, aus verschiedenen Gründen, nie eine Karte gemacht. Aber dieses Wochenende hat es sich ergeben. Und so kriegt Ihr von mir heute zu ganz ungewöhnlicher Zeit, die Deadline muss ja eingehalten werden, eine Karte zu sehen. Die Parameter der Challenge #319 lauten:

Und solange Ihr Eure Gedankengänge hierzu ausreichend erklären könnt, sind die Parameter recht frei auslegbar. 

 

Hello everyone!

Do you know Craft Roulette? It's a challenge, that gets streamed live every friday on YT, each time there's a different guest invited. Parameters for the categories project, color, element and random get selected by turning a "roulette wheel", filled with different craft items. And Mary Gunn, the host of  the show, and the guest are making a card with these live. As a viewer you have until sunday evening US time to submit a card. These are just the very basic informations.

I love to watch the  show - not live, because usually I am deep asleep at that time - and sometimes the wheel brings up the weirdest combinations. So far and for different reasons I have never submitted a card yet. But this weekend it just worked out. And so today I am posting at a very strange - for me - time to show my card before the deadline. The parameteres of challenge #319 are:

4 bar - wedding colors - sweet(s) - a touch of grey.

And as long as you can explain your choices the parameters can be interpreted pretty freely.

 

Nun, ich habe einen Cupcake für Sweet(s) gewählt und weil ich den mit Blaubeeren dekorieren wollte, habe ich Lila und Creme als Wedding Colors gewählt. Eigentlich bin ich ja nicht der Lila-Typ, aber ich bin sicher, es ist eine beliebte Farbe für Hochzeiten. 4 Bar ist ein amerikanisches Kartenformat, das, leicht gerundet, 3.5" x 5" groß ist, das ist also einfach umzusetzen. Und auch der Hauch von Grau ist im Hintergrund sowie in der Coloration des Cupcake-Papiers  enthalten. Also alle Vorgaben erfüllt!

Mein Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks, auf den ich mit Hickory Smoke den Birthday Background von MFT aufgestempelt habe. Dann habe ich die Ränder leicht mit dem selben Farbton gewischt. 

Den weißen Cardstock habe ich später noch ein wenig kleiner geschnitten, damit man den Kartenrohling dahinter sieht. 

Oh, und sorry für das nicht ganz so tolle Bild - ich musste mit dem Licht leben, das es gerade gab.... 

 

I went with a cupcake for Sweet(s) and because I wanted to decorate it with blueberries I've chosen purple and cream as my wedding colors. I am definately one who uses purple often but I'm sure it's a pretty comon color for weddings. 4 Bar is an american card size, rounded up roughly 3.5" x 5" large so that was easy. And also the touch of grey is included - in my background and in the coloring of the cupcake liner. So I can check off all the parameters. 

My background is made from a piece of white cardstock. With Distress Ink Hickory Smoke I stamped the Birthday Background by MFT onto it and then used the same ink to lightly shade the edges of the cardstock. 

Later I cut it down a bit to make the colored card base visible behind it.

And sorry for the  not so perfect pictures - I had to live with the light that was there when I took the picture. 

 

 Der Cupcake ist aus dem Lovely Layers Cupcake and More Set von HoneyBeeStamps. Ich habe alle Teile mit Copics coloriert und die Detail-Teile jeweils mit einer weiteren Lage weißen Cardstocks hinterlegt. 

Die Blaubeeren und die kleinen Blüten sind aus dem Cupcake Set aus dem Birthday Kit von Spellbinders. Der Cupcake darin hat mir nicht gefallen, aber die Deko aus  dem Set durfte auf die Karte.  

Aus dem Birthday Kit ist auch der Text. Ich habe ihn weiß auf lilafarbenen Cardstock embosst, mit ein wenig Distress Ink Villainous Potion von unten gewischt und dann mit der passenden Stanze ausgestanzt. Den Text habe ich unten auf das Papier des Cupcakes und darüber hinausgehend aufgeklebt.

 

The cupcake is from Lovely Layeres Cupcake and More by HoneyBeeStamps. I colored all pieces with Copics and backed the detail parts with another layer cut from white cardstock. 

The blueberries and the small flowers are from the cupcake set from Spellbinder's Birthday Kit. I didn't like the cupcake from the set but the decorations made it onto my card. 

Also from the Birthday Kit is the text. I white heat embossed it onto purple cardstock, lightly shaded the bottom with Distress Ink Villainous Potion and cut it out with the matching die. Then I glued the text onto the cupcake liner, letting it overhang on the right side.

 

 Außerdem habe ich zwei Deko-Stecker in den Cupcake gesteckt um ihn festlicher zu machen, beide sind aus dem Set Sweet Cupcake von WaffleFlower. Bei dem Wort Celebrate habe ich den zweiten "Stil" mit der Schere weggeschnitten. Das Wort ist aus lilafarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und wieder mit Villainous Potion gewischt.

 An die Stecker habe ich dann aus silber und weißem Twine noch eine kleine Schleife gebunden.

 

I also glued two "picks" into my cupcake to make it more festive, both are from  Sweet Cupcake by WaffleFlower. I cut off the second "pick" from the word celebrate. I cut the word from purple cardstock and again shaded it with some Villainous Potion.

Then I tied a bow from silver and white twine to those picks. 

 

 Ich habe den Cupcake samt Deko mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt und unten einen Schatten aufgemalt. So schwebt er optisch nicht so in der Luft. 

Als  Deko habe ich dann einige lilafarbene Sterne und ein paar silberne Perlen auf der Karte verteilt und mit einem grauen Fineliner einen Rahmen aufgemalt.

Und wenn ich schon mal lila verwende, dann richtig. Also habe meinen dekorierten Cardstock auf einen lilafarbenen Kartenrohling geklebt, der, gefaltet, die Maße einer 4 Bar Karte hat. 

 

I adhered the cupcake with all its decorations to the background using thin foam tape and added a shadow with markers. This way it isn't floating in the air.

As decoration I added some purple clay stars and silver pearls and drew a frame with a grey fineliner.

And when I used purple for a change I might add some more of it. So I glued the card panel to a purple note card that's - folded - the size of a 4 bar card.

Auf der Karte, die ich Euch heute zeige, wird Kuchen gebacken. Mir ist nämlich eingefallen, dass ich das Just Mitts Stanzenset von WaffleFlower eigentlich mit deren Open Book Trio als Kochbuch kombinieren wollte. Nun, die Ofenhandschuhe waren dann doch zu groß, aber ich habe ja genug anderes passendes im Fundus. Und den habe ich dann ordentlich ausgenutzt um diese Karte zu machen.

On the card I am sharing with you today we're baking some cake. I remembered that I wanted to combine the Just Mitts dies by WaffleFlower with their Open Book Trio set, using it as a cook book. Well, those mitts were too large but I have enough other kitchen related stuff in my stash. And I raided that to make this card.

 

 Ich wollte hier einen Hintergrund, der wie eine gemütliche Küche aussieht. Da ich die Motive meist im Vorfeld coloriere und mich dann um den Hintergrund kümmere, habe ich mich farblich daran orientiert. Auf ein Stück grauen Cardstock habe ich die Küchenfliesen aufgestempelt. Ich habe dafür einen Stempel aus einem Set von BoBunny in zwei Reihen mit grauer Tinte aufgestempelt. Die Ränder der Quadrate habe ich etwas schattiert und auf einige Details des Musters ein klein wenig helles Rot aufgetragen. Dann habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift die Fugen hinzugefügt.

Für die Arbeitsplatte habe ich dann ein Stück Cardstock in einem leicht anderen Grauton gewählt und mit grau-brauner Tinte den Woodgrain Backdrop von LawnFawn aufgestempelt. 

 

I wanted it to look like a scene in a cozy kitchen. I usually color my images first and then take care of the background, so I chose the background colors based on my images.

I stamped the kitchen tiles onto a piece of grey cardstock. I used a stamp from a set by BoBunny here, stamping two rows of it with grey ink. I shaded the edges of each square and added a hint of red to a few of the details in each square. Then I used a white gel pen to add the joints.

For the kitchen counter I picked a piece of a slightly different shade of grey cardstock and stamped the Woodgrain Backdrop by LawnFawn onto it using grey-sih brown ink.

 

 Auf der Küchenarbeitsplatte sieht man dann das übliche Chaos, das beim Backen entsteht. Also zumindest bei mir. Und bei einigen "Küchenartikeln" habe ich dann ziemlich um die Ecke gedacht, um alles so zusammenstellen zu können.

 

On the kitchen counter you can see the usual mess that happens during baking, at least in my house. And with some of the "kitchen stuff" I really had to do some thinking outside the box to make it happen. 

 

 Auf der linken Seite befindet sich das größte der Bücher aus dem Open Book Trio Set von WaffleFloer. Ich habe das Cover aus braunem, die Seiten aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und alles - so wie alle Elemente auf der Karte - mit Copics schattiert. Da ich an dem Tag etwas knapp an Bastelzeit war und es mit den Copics immer noch schneller als mit den Ohuhu-Markern geht, habe ich dazu gegriffen. Allerdings habe ich dabei wieder 3 ausgetrocknete Marker gefunden.... GRRRR. 

Auf das Buch habe ich dann zwei Stempel aus dem Open Book Trio Sentiments Stempelset aufgestempelt. Das Buch sollte aussehen wie eine alte, von Oma handgeschriebene Rezeptsammlung. 

Schüsselstanzen habe ich keine passenden, also habe ich mir anders beholfen. Der Dom-Deckel des Bechers aus dem Set Coffee all Day von MFT passte umgedreht von der Form her perfekt. Und weil es das auch als Mini gab, und  ich beide habe, konnte ich eine große und eine kleine Schüssel gestalten. 

Die Eier sind aus einem Stanzenset von Gummiapan, das einen 6er Eierkarton sowie ein Ei, ein gecracktes Ei und ein eiförmiges Küken enthält. Mit den schwedischen Namen der Sets tu ich mich leider recht schwer. Die Stanze ist auf jeden Fall älter. 

Die Erdbeeren sind aus dem Table AddOn Cake Set von WaffleFlower. Die habe ich aus hellrotem Cardstock gestanzt und mit roter Tinte gewischt. 

Und dann habe ich ein älteres Stanzenset einer Küchenschürze, in der diverse Küchenutensilien enthalten sind. Ich habe keine Verpackung mehr dazu und kann daher nicht sagen, von wem das Set ist. Aus dem sind auf jeden Fall der Schneebesen, der Teigschaber und auch die Measuring Cups, die ich hier hinter dem Buch an die Fliesenwand gehängt habe. 

 

On the left side there's the largest book from Open Book Trio by WaffleFlower. I cut the cover from brown, the pages from white cardstock and shaded them - just like every element on this card - with Copics. I only had a bit of crafting time the day I made this card and I am still a lot faster with my Copics than with the Ohuhu markers. That's why I used those, but again I found 3 almost new but dried out markers.... GRRRR.

I stamped two texts from Open Book Trio Sentiments onto the pages. I wanted the book to look like grandmas handwritter recipe collection.

I didn't have any bowl dies that fit in size. Luckily the dome lid from Coffee All Day by MFT, turned upside down, has the perfect shape. And since it was also brought out as a mini - and I have both sets - I was able to create a small and a large bowl.

The eggs are from a die set by Gummiapan that contains an egg container, an egg, a cracked egg and an egg shaped chicken. I am not able to remember those swedish names, but it's an older die.

The strawberries are from Table AddOn Cake by WaffleFlower. I die cut them from light red cardstock and inked them with red ink and a brush.

And then I have an older die of an apron, that also contains different kitchen items. I don't have the packaging of it anymore and so have no idea who made that die. From this set are the whiskers, the dough scraping thing and also the measuring cups, that I've hung to the wall behind the book.

 

 Hier seht Ihr die größere der beiden Schüsseln, davor das aufgeschlagene Ei und zwei weitere Erdbeeren. In der Schüssel steckt ein Kochlöffel. Der ist, genauso wie die Ofenhandschuhe und der Zuckerstreuer, aus dem Stanzenset mit der Schürze.

Auf der rechten Seite fehlte mir dann noch ein höheres Element, und natürlich wird in Omas Küche ein Gugelhupf gezaubert. Nun, da hatte ich keine Stanze - und weil ich neugierig war, habe ich gegoogelt und konnte auch keine finden. Ich dachte zwar, irgendwann mal irgendwo eine gesehen zu haben, der Kuchen war aber, glaube ich, recht klein. Also war Kreativität gefragt! Ich habe als Basis die Paprika-Stanze aus dem Stitched Garden Veggies Set von LawnFawn aus hellgelbem Cardstock gestanzt und auf den Kopf gedreht. Dann habe ich die leicht schrägen Streifen aus dem Popcorn-Tüte-Set Poppin' Corn von SimonSaysStamp aus dem selben Cardstock gestanzt und alles leicht schattiert. Die Streifen habe ich dann so auf die Paprika geklebt, dass von der Paprika nur oben ein wenig als hinterer Kuchenteil zu sehen ist. Die Teile, die über die Streifen überstehen, habe ich weggeschnitten. Und den Kuchenrand unten habe ich dann einfach von hand geschnitten und aufgeklebt. Auf die colorierten Teile habe ich dann ein klein wenig Distress Ink Vintage Photo aufgespritzt und zum Schluss den Kuchen mit Zucker bestreut. So macht auch der Zuckerstreuer auf der Karte Sinn. Ich habe den Kuchen stellenweise leicht mit Kleber betupft und dann Distress Clear Rock Candy Glitter aufgestreut. 

 

Here you see the larger of the two bowls with the cracked egg and to more strawberries lying in front of it. I've tucked a wooden spoon behind the bowl. This, the oven mitts and the sugar shaker are from the apron die set.

I was missing a taller element on the right side of the card - and of course grandma is making bundt cake in her kitchhen. Well, I didn't  have a die for that - and because I was curious I g..gled for one, but couldn't find any die. I thought I had seen one somewhere some time ago, but, if I remember correctly, this was a lot smaller. So I had to get creative! For the base I cut the bell pepper from Stitched Garden Veggies by LawnFawn from light yellow cardstock and turned it upside down. Then I cut the slanted strips of the popcorn bag die set Poppin' Corn by SimonSaysStamp from the same cardstock and shaded everything slightly. Then I glued those strips onto the bell pepper, leaving only the very top of that visible as the back of the cake. The pepper parts, that were visible on the sides after adhering the strips I just cut off with my scissors. The bottom I just cut by hand and glued it on. I flicked very little of Distress Ink Vintage Photo onto the cake and then covered it with a bit of sugar. This way the sugar shaker makes sense in the scene. I just applied a bit of glue to a few areas of the cake and covered it with Distress Clear Rock Candy glitter.

 

 Ursprünglich wollte ich die Szene dann mit 3D Tape zusammensetzen, habe mich dann aber dagegen entschieden.

Vorne auf die Arbeitsplatte habe ich dann noch den "let's bake the world a better place" aus dem Set A Creature was Stirring von LawnFawn weiß aufembosst. Denn egal wie schwarz alles aussieht, allein der Duft von Omas frisch gebackenem Kuchen lässt es schon etwas rosiger aussehen. Vom Geschmack reden wir dann gar nicht erst. 

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I white heat embossed a "let's bake the world a better place" from A Creature was Stirring by LawnFawn onto the counter top. No matter how bad of a day you have, just the scent of grandma's fresh baked cake makes it better. And let's not talk about the taste.

As the last step I glued the card panel to a white note card.

Auf der Geburtstagskarte, die ich Euch heute zeige, ist wahnsinnig viel los. Und das, obwohl ich (außer dem Text) nur zwei Stanzensets dafür benutzt habe. Aber irgendwie wollte ich alles auf einmal einbauen und so sieht die Karte nun ein wenig so aus, als hätte jemand gerade die Torte fertiggestellt und alles für die Partydeko bereit gelegt, als das Telefon klingelte... Ich mag sie trotzdem, irgendwie.

There's a lot going on on the birthday card, that I'm sharing with you today. Besides the text I only used two die sets for it, but - as AmyR always puts it - I wanted to use "everything but the kitchen sink". Now the card looks like someone just finished the cake and brought everything for the party decorations out when the telephone rang... I still like it, somehow.

 

Als wie wenn nicht schon genug los wäre auf der Karte, habe ich für den Hintergrund ganz klein kariertes Designpapier in weiß und hellorange benutzt. Das erinnerte mich irgendwie an eine Tischdecke. 

 

As if there wasn't enough going on already on this card I used some checked patterned paper in white and light orange for the background. It reminds me of a table cloth. 

 

 Im Mittelpunkt der Karte steht die Geburtstagstorte. Die ist aus dem Set Table AddOn Cake von WaffleFlower.

Ich habe den Teller aus matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock, den Kuchen aus hellbraunem und die Sahnetupfen aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Der Kuchen besteht aus drei, die Sahne aus zwei Lagen. Ich habe den Kuchen mit etwas Distress Ink gewischt und ihm mit einem farblich fast identischen Fineliner etwas Struktur gegeben. Die Sahnetupfen habe ich mit Ohuhu-Markern etwas schattiert. 

In die Mitte des Kuchens habe ich ein "make a wish" aus dem Postage Collage Piped Letters von WaffleFlower aufembosst. Außerdem habe ich die Torte mit ein paar Erdbeeren, ebenfalls aus dem Table AddOn Cake Set, dekoriert. Die habe ich aus hellrotem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Abandoned Coral gewischt. 

Unter dem Kuchen befinden sich zwei Ofenhandschuhe. Die sind mit dem Just Mitts Set, ebenfalls von WaffleFlower gemacht. Ich habe sie aus hellrotem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Abandoned Coral und Barn Door gewischt. Dann habe ich das weiße Herz aufgeklebt und die Handschuhe nochmal mit der Stanze durch die Big Shot gedreht, so dass auch die Herzen ein Nahtmuster haben. 

 

In the center of the card there's the birthday cake. I made that using the Table AddOn Cake set by WaffleFlower.

I die cut the plate from matte silver metallic carsdtock, the cake from light brown and the cream puffs from white cardstock. The cake is built from three, the cream from two layers. 

I inked the cake with some Distress Inks and used a nearly identical colored fineliner to add some texture to it. The cream I shaded lightly with Ohuhu markers.

Onto the center of the cake I white heat embossed a "make a whish" from Postage Collage Piped Letters by WaffleFlower. I also decorated the cake with some strawberries, again from Table AddOn Cake. I cut those from light red cardstock and shaded them with Distress Ink Abandoned Coral.

Under the cake I put two oven mitts. These are made with the Just Mitts set by WaffleFlower. I die cut them from light red cardstock again and shaded them with Abandoned Coral and Barn Door. I glued the white hearts onto them and then put the mitts back into the die and ran them through the Big Shot again to have the stitched details on the hearts, too.

 

Oben links über dem Kuchen habe ich dann meinen Text aufgeklebt. Das Sweet ist mit dem Piped Sentiments Sweet von TheGreetery gemacht. Ich habe zwei weiße Lagen aufeinander geklebt und dann etwas versetzt eine weitere Lage, gestanzt aus rotem Spiegelcardstock, dahintergesetzt. 

Da mir das Wort etwas zu hoch war, habe ich die unteren Schnörkel mit der Schere weggeschnitten. 

Ergänzt habe ich den Text dann mit einem "birthday wishes" aus dem Bitty Birthday Wishes Set von MFT. Das habe ich weiß auf hellroten Cardstock embosst und den Cardstock dann von unten her wieder ein wenig mit Abandoned Coral schattiert.

 

To the top left of the cake I added the sentiment. I made the Sweet using the Piped Sentiments Sweet by TheGreetery. I stacked two layers of white cardstock and then put another layer, cut from red mirror cardstock, behind it a bit offset. 

The word was a bit too tall for my card so I used my scissors to cut off the flourishes at the bottom.

I finished the sentiment with a "birthday wishes" from Bitty Birthday Wishes by MFT. I white heat embossed it onto light red cardstock and then shaded it lightly with Abandoned Coral again.

 

 Im unteren Bereich der Karte habe ich dann weitere Erdbeeren, Luftschlangen, Geburtstagskerzen und ein Luftballon-Tier aufgeklebt. Alle diese Elemente sind wieder aus dem Table AddOn Cake Set.

Die Luftschlangen habe ich aus rotem Spiegel-Cardstock und normalem schwarzen Cardstock gestanzt. Die roten Teile habe ich dann mit der Schere so zugeschnitten, dass sie nach dem Aufkleben auf die schwarzen wie die Vorderseite der Luftschlangen aussehen - den roten Spiegelcarsdstock konnte ich ja leider nicht mit Markern schattiern. Die Details auf den diversen Stanzteilen sind mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht. 

Auch im oberen Bereich der Karte habe ich einige Luftschlangen aufgeklebt.

Und hier unten befindet sich dann auch noch ein Spritzbeutel. Der ist aus dem Baked with Love Set von LawnFawn und in NoLine Technik coloriert. Der musste mit auf die Karte. Eigentlich ist im Postage Collage Piped Letters  Set ein Spritzbeutel enthalten, der war mir aber ein wenig zu klein für meine Karte. 

 

In the lower half of the card I added some more strawberries, streamers, birthday candles and a balloon animal. All these elements come again in the Table AddOn Cake set. 

I die cut the streamers from red mirror cardstock and normal black cardstock. I then cut the red ones into pieces, after glueing those to the black streamers it looks like red it the outside color. I had to do it this way because I couldn't shade the mirror cardstock. For the details on some of the die cuts I used a white gel pen.

I added some streamers to the top area of the card, too.

And down here there's also a piping bag. It's from Baked with Love by LawnFawn and colored in NoLine technique. I really wanted to have one on my card. There is one included in the Postage Collage Piped Letters set but it was a bit too small for my scene.

 

 Um zumindest rund um den Kuchen den Hintergrund etwas abzuschwächen, habe ich eines der Stitched Scallops von TheGreetery aus Vellum gestanzt. Darauf habe ich die Deko mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt und das dann auch verwendet, um das Vellum auf dem Hintergrund zu befestigen. 

Zu mSchluss habe ich dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

To tone the background down around the cake I die cut one of the Stitched Scallops by TheGreetery from vellum. I used thin foam tape to adhere the die cuts to it and then glued it with more thin foam tape onto the background.

Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Frühlingsgrüße

So langsam neigt sich die Zeit  der Frühlingsblüher dem Ende entgegen - vor allem beim Basteln. Ich wollte aber unbedingt noch die Blumen aus dem Set Kleine Frühlingsblumen von CreativeDepot benutzen. Und so ist diese Frühlingskarte entstanden.

The time of those spring bulbs is coming to an end - especially in my crafts. But I really wanted to use the flowers from Kleine Frühlingsblumen by CreativeDepot. And so I made this spring card.

 

Der Hintergrund besteht hier aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks. Den habe ich mit Masking Tape so beklebt, dass vier gleichgroße Rechtecke mittig  frei bleiben. Die habe ich dann mit Distress Ink Salvaged Patina und Peacock Feathers gewischt. 

Nach dem Abziehen des Tapes habe ich dann hellgoldene Metallic Watercolor auf den Cardstock gespritzt.

 

The background is made from a piece of white cardstock. I used masking tape to cover the cardstock, leaving four rectangles of the same size free. I inked these with Distress Ink Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers.

After peeling the masking tape off I added splatters of light gold metallic watercolor to the cardstock.

 

 Die hellblauen Rechtecke sind nun der Hintergrund für meine Blumen.

Ich habe vier Blumentöpfe aus einem Stanzenset von MarianneDesign gestanzt, in die ich dann die Blumen gepflanzt habe. In den oberen Rechtecken sind das links Osterglocken und rechts Löwenzahn

Alle Elemente der Karte habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Ohuhu Markern coloriert. 

 

Those light blue rectangles are the backdrop for my flowers.

I die cut four flower pots from a die set by MarianneDesign and put the flowers into them. In those upper rectangles I used daffodils and dandelions.

I die cut all element on the card from white cardstock and colored them with Ohuhu markers.

 

 Im unteren rechten Fenster befinden sich Schneeglöckchen. 

Im linken habe ich dann ein wenig Ostern mit eingebaut. Ich habe kleine Hasenohren in den Topf gesetzt und davor einen Schokohasen und zwei Ostereier geklebt. Die Hasenohren sind aus Minihasenohrenset von Steckenpferdchen, der Hase aus dem Postage Collage Bunny Silhouette Set von WaffleFlower, die Ostereier aus dem Ostereier-Set von CreativeDepot. 

In diesem Fenster war dann auch noch genug Platz für meinen Text. Ich habe mit Stempeln aus dem Set Kleine Worte von Stampcorner "Frühlingsgrüße" zweizeilig weiß auf grünen Cardstock embosst und ausgeschnitten.

 

In the lower right window there are some snowdrops.

With the content of the left one I added a touch of easter to the card. I put some small bunny ears into the flower pot and glued a chocolat bunny and two easter eggs in front of it.  The bunny ears are from Minihasenohrenset by Steckenpferdchen, the bunny is from Postage Collage Bunny Silhouette by WaffleFlower, the easter eggs from Ostereier by CreativeDepot.

In this window there was also enough room for my text. I white heat embossed "spring greetings" onto green cardstock and cut it out.

 

 Die Blumentöpfe habe ich dann mit dünnem 3D Tape auf die blauen Rechtecke geklebt und in jedes noch ein kleines weißes Herz eingebaut.

Den Cardstock habe ich dann hellblau gemattet und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I adhered the flower pots with thin foam tape onto the blue rectangles and added a white clay heart to each of them.

I matted the decorated cardstock light blue and then glued it onto a white note card.

 

Ostern naht...

Heute habe ich eine weitere Karte, die ich als Gast-Designer für The Stampstop gemacht habe. Und weil Ostern ja quasi schon vor der Tür steht, habe ich eine Osterkarte gemacht und dafür diverse Stanzen aus dem Februar-Release von WaffleFlower kombiniert.

Today I have another card I made as a guest designer for The Stampstop. Easter is nearly here so I made an easter card, combining different die sets from the february release by WaffleFlower. 

 

Der Hintergrund der Karte besteht aus einem Bogen aus dem Spiffy Speckles Paper Pad von LawnFawn - hellgrün mit etwas dunkleren Spritzern. Da auf der Karte motiv-mäßig recht viel los ist, wollte ich den Hintergrund eher dezent halten. Nur eine Fläche war mir aber dann doch zu langweilig. Also habe ich ein Postage-Rechteck aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und darauf ein weiteres Stück des selben grünen Designpapiers aufgeklebt. Der Rahmen macht die Karte interessanter ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. 

 

The background of my card is made using a sheet from the Spiffy Speckles paper pad by LawnFawn - light green with slightly darker speckles. There's quite a lot going on on my card so I wanted a more quiet background. Just a - kind of - solid background seemed too boring. So I die cut a postage rectangle from white cardstock and glued another piece of the same green patterned paper onto it. The white frame adds interest without taking over the design.

 

 Auch wenn es nicht so wirken mag - für meine Motive kamen nur 4 eher kleine Stanzensets zum Einsatz. 

Der Korb samt den Tulpen ist aus Basketful Base, der Hase aus Basketful of Bunny Duo, die Karotten und das Gras aus Postage Collage Bunny Silhouettes und alle anderen Motive aus Postage Collage Egg Hunt Icons, alle von WaffleFlower. 

Ich habe die jeweiligen Motivteile aus farbigem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics schattiert. Für den Hasen habe ich weißen Cardstock, für die Ostereier und den Stoff im Körbchen jeweils Designpapier von LawnFawn verwendet. 

Die Schleife am Ohr des Hasen ist eigentlich als Schleife um die Ostereier gedacht - ich habe das überstehende Stück sowie die herunterhängenden Band-Enden weggeschnitten und so passte er perfekt für den Hasen.

Im Basketful of Bunny Duo Set gibt es neben einem identischen, in die andere Richtung schauenden Hasen auch einen passenden Stencil zum Colorieren, mit dem sich zudem Flecken ins Fell des Hasen wischen lassen. Ich wollte aber einen weißen Hasen, da der besser zum Grün und Pink der Karte passt. Die Augen und Nase des Hasen habe ich mit einem schwarzen Glaze-Pen gemacht und den Mund mit einem grauen Fineliner nachgemalt.  

Die Grasbordüre habe ich für das Gras im Korb in der Mitte geteilt und dann in verschiedenen Höhen ganz vorne und ganz hinten in den Korb geschoben. Dazwischen befindet sich die Tulpen, Karotten und Ostereier.  Zwei weitere Gras-Bordüren habe ich vor und hinter den gestanzten Motiven aufgeklebt und habe dabei die hintere Bordüre aufs Gesicht gedreht, damit das Gras leicht unterschiedlich aussieht. 

 

Even if it might not look like that - for my images I only used four, quite small die sets.

The basket and tulips are from Basketful Base, the bunny from Basketful of Bunny Duo, the carrots and grass border from Postage Collage Bunny Silhouettes and all the other elements are from Postage Collage Egg Hunt Icons, all by WaffleFlower.

I die cut the different pieces from colored cardstock and shaded them with Copics. For the bunny I used white cardstock, the easter eggs and  fabric in the basket I cut from patterned paper by LawnFawn.

The bow on the bunny's head is originally a die, that creates a bow that's wrapped around the easter eggs - I cut off the overhanging piece of ribbon and the ribbon ends and then it fit perfectly on the bunny's head.

Besides a second and identical bunny, that's just facing the other direction, there's also a coloring stencil included in the Basketful of Bunny Duo set. With this stencil you can add some spots to the bunny's fur. But with the mainly pink and green I thought, a white bunny goes best. 

I used a black Glaze pen to add the eyes and nose and traced the cut in lines for the mouth with a grey fineliner. 

I cut one of the grass borders into two pieces and tucked them in different heights into the basket - one in the very front, one in the very back. Inbetween I put the tulips, carrots and easter eggs. I added two more grass borders behind and in front of the images, turning the one in the back face down to make the grass look slightly different. 

 

 Für den Text auf meiner Karte blieb mir dann gar nicht mehr viel Platz - nur ganz unten auf der Karte war ein Streifen frei. Dort habe ich dann einen Text aus dem Egg-Straordinary Easter Add-On Set von LawnFawn angebracht, der durch seine Länge die  komplette Breite der Karte füllt. Ich habe ihn mit grau-brauner Tinte auf rosafarbenen Cardstock gestempelt.

 

There wasn't much space left on my card for the sentiment - only  a strip at the bottom of the card. I added this text from Egg-Straordinary Easter Add-On by LawnFawn, that uses the whole width of the card. I stamped that with grey-ish brown ink onto pink cardstock. 

 

 Durch die vielen kleinen Motive im Körbchen ist das relativ dick geworden. Ich habe daher die Teile des Hasen, die nicht auf dem Korb aufliegen, mit 3D Tape hinterlegt. Damit habe ich auch den Text angeklebt.

Als Deko habe ich noch drei kleine Schmetterlinge, ebenfalls aus dem Postage Collage Easter Egg Hunt Icons Set, auf der Karte verteilt und drumherum einige kleine weiße Perlen aufgeklebt. Zum Schluss habe ich dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt. 

 

Since I filled the basket with so many smaller images it turned out quite thick. So I put some foam tape behind the parts of the bunny, that don't lay on top of the basket. I also used foam tape to adhere the text strip.

I added three small butterflies, again from  Postage Collage Easter Egg Hunt Icons, and put some small white pearls around them. Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

Es wird Zeit, für die erste Osterkarte. Wie immer tue ich mich mit der ersten besonders schwer - Winterbasteln ist doch so komplett anders und ich muss mich erst wieder an die sanften, fröhlichen Farben gewöhnen. Dementsprechend bin ich zumindest mit dem Hintergrund dieser Karte nicht so ganz zufrieden. Aber ein Anfang ist gemacht.

It's time to make the first easter card. As every year I am having a really hard time - winter crafting is so different and I have to get used to the soft and happy colors again. That's also why I am not really happy with the background of this card, but it's a start.

 

Besagter Hintergrund besteht aus weißem Cardstock, den ich mit einem Embossingfolder von Nellie Snellen geprägt habe. Ich wollte keinen farbigen Hintergrund, denn die Szene ist bereits farbig genug. So ganz weiß es hat es mir dann aber auch nicht gefallen. Also habe ich aus hellgelbem Cardstock einen Strahlenkreis ausgestanzt, ihn mit Copics schattiert und oben mittig auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

 

Said background is made from white cardstock, that I dry embossed with an embossing folder by Nellie Snellen. I didn't want a colored background, because there are already enough colors in the scene. But I also didn't like the plain white. So I die cut a circle of rays from light yellow cardstock, shaded it with Copics and adhered it to the top center of the background.

 

 Die Szene auf meiner Karte besteht aus einem gefüllten Osterkorb samt Blumen und einem Küken. 

Die meisten Elemente hier stammen aus dem Postage Collage Egg Hunt Icons  Set von WaffleFlower. Das kleine Osterei ist von Kulricke und die ganz kleinen mit den Mustern von CreativeDepot. Ich habe alle Teile aus pastellfarbenem Designpapier aus den Spiffy Speckles und dem Spiffier Speckles Paper Pads von LawnFawn gestanzt und mit Copics schattiert. 

Der Schokohase ist mit der Chocolate Bunny Stanze von ImpressionObsession gemacht. Den habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und komplett coloriert. Die Schleife ist wieder aus dem Postage Collage Set, sie passt dem Hasen perfekt.  

Unter das Osterkörbchen habe ich einen Grasfleck gesetzt, den ich mit einem der Grounding Elements von MFT gemacht habe. Und hinter das Körbchen habe ich später noch höheres Gras, gestanzt mit einer Border-Stanze von Magnolia, gesetzt.

 

The scene on my card is showing a filled easter basket with flowers and a little chickie.

Most elements on this card are from the Postage Collage Egg Hunt Icons by WaffleFlower. The smaller easter egg is by Kulricke, the tiny ones with the patterns by CreativeDepot. I die cut all pieces from pastel patterned  from the Spiffy Speckles and Spiffier Speckles paper pads by LawnFawn, then shaded them with Copics.

The bunny is made with the Chocolate Bunny die by ImpressionObsession. I cut it from white cardstock and colored it in completely. The bow is again from the Postage Collage set, it fits this bunny perfectly.

Under the basket I put a patch of grass, cut with one of the Grounding Elements set by MFT. And behind the basket I put up some taller grass, made with a border die by Magnolia.

 

Direkt unter der Szene habe ich dann meinen Text angeklebt. Das happy ist aus weißem Cardstock, der Rest des Textes wieder aus Designpapier gestanzt. Und neben das T von Easter  habe ich noch zwei kleine Ostereier, die ich übrig hatte, aufgeklebt.

 

I put my text directly under the scene. The happy is cut from white cardstock, the rest of the text I cut from more of the patterned paper. I placed two tiny easter eggs, that I had left over, next to the T of the word Easter.

 

 Natürlich kam beim Zusammensetzen der Szene 3D Tape zum Einsatz. Damit habe ich auch den kompletten Hintergrund hinterlegt und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. 

Als Deko habe ich dann noch ein paar gelb-irisierende Glitzersteine im oberen Bereich der Karte verteilt.

 

Of course I used foam tape to put the scene together. I also backed the complete card panel with it and adhered it to a white note card.

As decoration I added some yellow-iridescent rhinestones to the upper area of the card.

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute habe ich eine Window Shaker Weihnachtskarte für Euch. Ideengeber für die Kartenart war, mal wieder, Jennifer McGuire. Ende Oktober hatte sie ein Video für dafür gepostet und ich wollte sie unbedingt ausprobieren.

Today I have a window shaker christmas card to share. Once again I've seen this type of card in a video of Jennifer McGuire. She postet it end of october and I really wanted to try it.

 

 Wie der Name schon verrät, ist hier ein Shaker in die Karte eingebaut. Allerdings ist der vorne und hinten durchsichtig, so dass man, wie durch ein Fenster, das Innere der Karte sehen kann.

Ich habe hier einen oben gefalteten Kartenrohling aus weißem Cardstock als Basis verwendet und aus ihm sowie einem etwas kleineren Stück olivgrünen Cardstocks jeweils das zweitgrößte der Nesting Piercing Ticket Frames  von WaffleFlower ausgestanzt. 

Den grünen Cardstock habe ich mit etwas Distress Ink Forest Moss gewischt und dann weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

 

As the name says already there is a shaker included in this card. But it's clear on the front and back so, just like through a window, you can see the inside of the card through it.

I used a top folded white note card for my base and cut the second largest Nesting Piercing Ticket Frames by WaffleFlower from it and a slightly smaller piece of olive green cardstock.

I shaded the green cardstock lightly with Distress Ink Forest Moss and then splattered white acrylic paint onto it. 

 

 Auf die vordere Folien-Lage des Shakers habe ich die Ilexblätter aus dem Vintage Poinsettia Stempelset von WhimsyStamps mit silbernem Glitter-Embossingpulver aufembosst - einmal oben und einmal unten. Die Beeren habe ich von der Rückseite her mit einem weißen Acrylmarker ausgefüllt.

Ich habe den Shaker mit klaren, hellgrünen und silber-weißen Mini-Perlen gefüllt. 

Die untere Lage der Folie versteckt sich unter dem grünen Cardstock, als oberen Abschluss habe ich einen weiteren der Ticket Frames aufgeklebt. Den habe ich aus silbernem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt. 

 

I heat embossed the holly leaves from the Vintage Poinsettia stamp set by WhimsyStamps with silver glitter embossing powder onto the top acetate layer of the shaker - I stamped the image once onto the top and once onto the bottom of the acetate. I filled the berries with a white acrylic marker, putting the paint onto the back of the acetate.

I filled the shaker with clear, light green and silver-white micro beads.

The bottom acetate layer of the shaker is hidden behind the green cardstock, as the top layer of the shaker I cut another of the ticket frames from silver glitter cardstock.

 

 Ich habe den Ticket-Rahmen nicht ganz mittig aus meiner Karte, sondern etwas nach unten versetzt gestempelt. So blieb oben am Rahmen genug Platz für eine große Schleife. Die ist eine Kombi aus einer der Schleifen aus dem Geschenkbänder und Schleifen Set sowie den Enden der Großen Schleife, beides von Charlie und Paulchen. Die kringeln sich so schön nach unten und verdecken auch das obere Motiv nicht so, wie die zur Schleife gehörenden Enden.

Ich habe die Teile aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, mit Copics schattiert und auf den Rahmen geklebt. Die Schleifenteile habe ich dabei etwas mit dem Finger gerundet.

 

I didn't cut the ticket frame centered from my card but moved it a bit down. Now there was room for a bow at the top. The bow is a combination from one of the bows from Geschenkbänder and Schleifen  and the ends of the Große Schleife set, both by Charlie und Paulchen. Those ends curl up so nicely and they also don't cover as much of the holly leaves at the top as the regular ends, coming with the bow die, does.

I cut the pieces from white cardstock, shaded them with Copics and adhered them to the frame. Before putting the bow together I rounded the pieces slightly with my fingernail.

 

 Im unteren Bereich habe ich quer über den Shaker meinen Text geklebt.

Das Wort Christmas ist aus dem Stanzenset Christmas Season von Altenew. Ich habe es einnmal aus weißem und einmal aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und die Teile aufeinander sowie auf den Shaker geklebt. Den I-Punkt habe ich durch eine weiße Perle ersetzt und zwei weitere, kleinere darüber angeklebt.

Das kleine Greetings darunter ist aus dem Set Itty Bitty Holidays von MFT und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. 

 

In the lower half I adhered my text all across the shaker.

The word christmas I from the Christmas Season die set by Altenew. I cut it from white and dark green cardstock, stacked them and adhered them across the shaker. I replaced the dot above the I with a white pearl and added two more right above the first one.

The small greetings is from Itty Bitty Holidays by MFT and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

 

 Es ist wirklich schwer, die glitzernden Motive auf dem Shaker zu fotografieren, er reflektiert wirklich stark. Aber ich denke, Ihr könnt es erahnen.

Mit einem silbernen Gelstift habe ich noch einen Rahmen entlang des äußeren Bereichs des grünen Cardstocks sowie des Shakers aufgemalt.

 

It's really hard to take a picture of the glittery images on top of the shaker, everything is just reflecting the light too much. But I'm sure you can kind of see it.

I used a silver gel pen to draw a frame along the outer edge of the green cardstock and also the shaker.

 

 So sieht die geöffnete Karte aus - und hier sieht man den durchsichtigen Shaker echt gut. 

Den weißen Ticket-Rahmen, den ich aus der Kartenbasis gestanzt habe, habe ich von innen gegen die hintere Folie geklebt, um das 3D Tape, das ich für den Shaker brauchte, zu verdecken.

 

This is the opened card - and you can see the see-through shaker pretty well here.

From the inside I glued the white ticket frame, that I had cut from the front of my card base, onto the back acetate piece of the shaker to hide the foam tape I had used to create my shaker.

 

 Den Cardstock, der durch den Shaker sichtbar ist, könnt Ihr hier sehen.

Ich habe ein Stück hellgrünen Cardstocks mit Distress Ink Peeled Paint schattiert und dann mit weißer Pigment-Tinte den Christmas Background von MFT aufgestempelt. 

Im unteren Bereich habe ich ein weiteres Ilex-Motiv aus dem selben Stempelset wieder mit silbernem Glitter-Embossing-Pulver aufembosst und die sichtbaren Beeren weiß ausgefüllt.

Auch der Text im Inneren ist aus dem Itty Bitty Holidays Set von MFT. Ich habe hier das Wort Christmas, das sich ja schon auf der Vorderseite befindet, durch ein Season eines anderen Texts ersetzt. 

Den schwarzen Streifen mit dem weiß aufembossten Text habe ich dann quer über den grünen Cardstock geklebt. Er ist durch den Shaker ein wenig zu sehen, wird aber doch recht gut from gestanzten Wort verdeckt.

Mit einem silbernen Gelstift habe ich auch hier einen Rahmen aufgemalt.

 

This is the cardstock, that's visible through the shaker. 

I shaded a piece of light green cardstock with Distress Ink Peeled Paint and stamped the Christmas Background by MFT with white pigment ink onto it.

In the lower area I stamped another holly leaves image from the same set onto the cardstock. I heat embossed it with the silver glitter cardstock and again filled the berries white.

The text on the inside is again from Itty Bitty Holidays by MFT I replaced the word christmas, that I already used on the front of the card, with the word season from another text of the set. I  glued the black cardstock strip with the white heat embossed text across the green cardstock. It's slightly visible through the shaker but the die cut word hides it pretty well.

Again I used a silver gel pen to draw a frame onto the cardstock.

 

 Und wenn Ihr Euch jetzt fragt, wo denn hier Platz für einen persönlichen Text ist: auch daran hat Jennifer gedacht. Der grüne Cardstock ist nämlich auf einer weiteren, aber etwas kleineren, oben gefalteten Karte angebracht. Darin ist dann genug Platz für persönliche Worte.

 

And if you wonder where you can add a personal text here: Jennifer also thought of that. The green cardstock is adhered to another, slighliy smaller top folding note card. Inside of it you have plenty of room to write some personal words.
