Zur Hochzeit die Zweite

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Eine meiner Töchter brauchte eine Hochzeitskarte. Auf die Frage, was Ihr denn vorschwebe, antwortete sie mit "nichts Kitschiges". Äh ja, danke auch. Aber es stellte sich heraus, dass sie mit kitschig niedlich meinte. Also habe ich sie meine bisherigen Hochzeitskarten durchsehen lassen und ihr gefiel eine, die ich letztes Jahr gemacht habe. Die habe ich dann als Vorlage genommen und natürlich ein wenig abgewandelt.

One of my daughters needed a wedding card. When I asked her, how she wanted it to be, she answered "nothing kitschy". Well, thank you. But it turned out, that she meant cute with that. So I let her look at the wedding cards I have made so far and she really liked one I made about a year ago. I took that as inspiration and recreated it with some changes.

Die Karte wird von mehreren zusammen geschenkt, also habe ich eine Slimline Card gemacht. Dafür habe ich mittig auf einen Streifen weißen Cardstocks mit weißer Paste feine Streifen aufgetragen. Den dazu passenden Stencil habe ich mir mal selber mit etwas Mylar Folie und einem Cutter gemacht. 

Nachdem die Paste getrocknet war, habe ich mittig einen Streifen goldener Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

The card will be given together from several friends so I made a slimline card. I used a stencil, that I have made myself from some Mylar foil and a cuttter, and some white paste to add fine strips onto the center of a piece of white cardstock. 

After the paste had dried I splattered gold metallic watercolor only onto the center across the cardstock.

Die Einladungskarten waren in weiß und gold gehalten und hatten ein paar Eukalyptuszweige als Deko aufgedruckt. Das habe ich dann für meine Karte aufgegriffen.

Das Herz im Hintergrund ist aus goldenem Spiegel-Cardstock gestanzt und mit zwei Lagen aus weißem Cardstock hinterlegt.

Die Eukalyptuszweige sind aus dem Set Einatmen, Ausatmen von Create a Smile. Ich habe sie mit Copics und No-Line Coloring coloriert und dann ausgeschnitten.

Das Herz mit den Zweigen darauf habe ich links auf den Hintergrund geklebt und zwei hellere, farblich passende Rosen mit aufgeklebt.

The wedding invitations were white and gold and had some eukalyptus twigs printed on as decoration. I picked that design up for my card.

The heart in the background I die cut from gold mirror  cardstock, then backed it with two white die cuts.

The eukalypus twigs are from the Einatmen, Ausatmen set by Create a Smile. I colored them in no-line technique using Copics, then cut them out.

I adhered the heart onto the background, put the twigs on top and then added two roses in a lighter but matching color.

Auf der Karte, die meiner Tochter so gut gefallen hat, hatte ich einen großen gestanzten Hochzeitsschriftzug verwendet. Die Stanze hatte ich mir damals aber bei einer Freundin geliehen. Und als ich sie jetzt fragte, von wem die war um sie mir selbst zu kaufen, musste ich feststellen, dass es die bei Charlie und Paulchen nicht mehr gibt. Aber ich habe eine ähnliche gefunden und bestellt. Das Wort Hochzeit ist ebenfalls aus goldenem Spiegel-Cardstock gestanzt und diesmal mit vier weißen Stanzteilen hinterlegt.

Die restlichen Textteile sind mit Stempeln aus den Reverse-Sets von Kulricke weiß auf eukalyptusfarbenen Cardstock embosst.

On the card my daughter liked I had used a large die card word "wedding". But back then I had borrowed that die from a friend. I texted her what brand the die was but had to find out, that it wasn't available at Charlie and Paulchen anymore. But I was able to find something similar in their shop and ordered it. I die cut the word from gold mirror cardstock and this time put four layers cut from white cardstock behind it. 

The rest of the text is white heat embossed onto eukalyptus colored cardstock, now the text means "congrats on your wedding". 

Die embossten Texte habe ich mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt und dann quer über die Karte einige weiße Perlen aufgeklebt.

Dann habe ich den dekorierten Cardstock mit goldenem Spiegel-Cardstock hinterlegt und alles auf einen weißen Slimline-Rohling geklebt.

I used thin foam tape to adhere the embossed text strips and then added some white pearls all across the cardstock.

Then I matted the decorated card panel with gold mirror cardstock and then glued it onto a white slimline card base.

Manchmal braucht es gar nicht viel Chi-Chi um eine Karte mit genau der Stimmung zu gestalten, die man im Sinn hat. So ging es mir mit dieser Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeige.

Sometimes you don't need lots of things to give a creation the vibes you have in mind. That's what happened with this card, that I'm sharing on the Stampcorner Blog today. 

Basis ist hier einfach ein Stück craft-farbenen Cardstocks, auf den ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt habe. 

As the base I used a piece of kraft colored cardstock and splattered some white acrylic paint onto it.

Mit der kleinsten der Fishtail Banner Stitch Stanzen habe ich dann aus einem der Paper Packs von Stampcorner kleine Banner zugeschnitten. Die wollte ich eigentlich im oberen Bereich über die Karte spannen, habe mich dann aber ganz spontan dazu entschieden, sie mal unten aufzuhängen. Warum auch nicht?

Ich habe die Banner am oberen Rand auf-/aneinander geklebt und sie dann mit der Schere in einer leichten Kurve abgeschnitten. Die Fähnchen haben bewusst unterschiedliche Längen, das wirkt nicht so steif. Ich habe die Banner auf dem Cardstock befestigt - einige sind direkt aufgeklebt, einige sind mit dünnem oder dickem 3D Tape befestigt - und anschließend ein Stück weißes Twine genommen und parallel zur oberen Kante der Banner zweimal um den Cardstock herumgewickelt. Links habe ich dann eine Schleife gebunden.

Auf die Banner kam dann noch ein gestanztes Ahoi. Ich habe es dreimal aus weißem und einmal aus dunkelblauem Cardstock gestanzt und die Teile aufeinander geklebt, die oberste Lage ein wenig versetzt. Das Wort habe ich dann leicht die Fähnchen überlappend auf dem Cardstock befestigt.

Using the smallest of the Fishtail Banner Stitch dies I die cut several banners using papers from one of the paper packs by Stampcorner. I originally had planned to hang them across the top of my card but then changed my mind and decided, to hang them at the bottom. Why not?

I attached the bannners onto each other at the top and then used my scissors to cut them slightly curved. I've chosen different lengths for my banners, I just think it looks nicer. I adhered the banners to the background - some are glued down directly, some are backed with thin, some with thick foam tape - and then wrapped a piece of white twine twice around my card, following the top curve of my banner edge. I tied a bow on the left side.

Onto the banners I glued a die cut Ahoi. I've die cut it three times from white and once from dark blue cardstock and stacked them, offsetting the top layer a bit. Then I glued it down above the banners, letting it overlap a bit.

So hätte mir die Karte auch schon ganz gut gefallen, aber mit Motiv gefällt sie mir noch besser. Also habe ich den Bären aus dem neuen Stempelset abgestempelt, mit Copics coloriert und mit einem weißen Gelstift ein paar Highlights aufgemalt. Dann habe ich ihn ausgeschnitten und über dem Ahoi angebracht.

Und weil Sterne und maritim immer so schön zusammenpassen, habe ich noch ein paar kleine Sterne aus dem dunkelblauen Cardstock gestanzt, einige davon auf die Banner und einige auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

I liked the card but of course it's even nicer with an image. So I brought out the bear from the new stamp set, colored it with Copics and added highlights with a white gel pen. Then I cut him out and adhered him above the word Ahoi.

And since stars and maritim always go together perfectly, I die cut a few of them from the dark blue cardstock, attached some onto banners and some onto the background.

Zum Schluss habe ich dann alles noch auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.

As the last step I glued the card panel to a white note card.

Vor kurzem habe ich Euch ja meine Baustellenkarte mit den genialen Fahrzeugen von PrettyPinkPosh gezeigt. Heute habe ich mal Motive aus dem Set Helper Vehicles verwendet, in dem neben dem Feuerwehrauto oben auch ein Krankenwagen und ein Polizeiauto sowie diverses Zubehör zu finden ist. Und über ein Feuerwehrauto freuen sich doch kleine und große Jungs gleichermaßen.

A little ago I shared my construction zone card using those amazing construction vehicles by PrettyPinkPosh. On today's card I used images from the Helper Vehicles set, that does not only have a firetruck image but also an ambulance and a police car and some accessoires to go with them. And I'm sure, a firetruck fits a card for both, small and big boys equally.

Den Himmel habe ich auf weißen Cardstock gewischt und dabei den Drapped Ribbon Stencil von LawnFawn und Distress Oxide Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Crackling Campfire, Candied Apple und ein wenig Aged Mahogany verwendet. Dann habe ich goldene Metallic Watercolor und weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

I created the sky on a piece of white cardstock using the Draped Ribbon Stencil by LawnFawn and Distress Oxide Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Crackling Campfire, Candied Apple and a bit of Aged Mahogany. Then I added splatters with gold metallic watercolor and white acrylic paint.

Beim Zuschneiden des Cardstocks - ich mache ihn beim Wischen meist ein wenig größer - habe ich mich leider verschnitten und musste rechts einen Streifen wieder anstückeln. Aber wenn ich es Euch nicht gesagt hätte, wäre das bestimmt nicht aufgefallen, oder?

Ganz oben auf der Karte habe ich einen "lasst die Sirenen heulen" Text aufgeklebt. Der ist ebenfalls aus dem Set mit dem Feuerwehrauto und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.

When I cut down the sky - I usually make my backgrounds a bit larger first - I made a mistake and so I had to add a strip on the right, that I accidently had cut off. But if I didn't tell you wouldn't have noticed, right?

Onto the very top of the card I added a "sound the siren"  text. It also comes in the set with the firetruck and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

Das Feuerwehrauto, und alle anderen Motive, habe ich mit Copics coloriert. Ich habe hier zudem einen Hyranten und einen Feuerwehrschlauch verwendet. 

Auf den weißen Streifen, der quer über das Auto verläuft, habe ich mit brauner Tinte eine "hooray" aus dem Itty Bitty Birthday Stempelset von MFT aufgestempelt und zwei kleine, rote Sternkonfetti aufgeklebt. Die Fensterscheibe und das Blaulicht sind außerdem mit Glossy Accents überzogen.

Auf den Himmel habe ich dann erst eine Skyline City Block Set von MFT aufgeklebt. Die habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und die Fenster mit Cardstockstreifen, die ich leicht mit Wild Honey gewischt habe, hinterlegt. Darunter kam dann ein Stück grauer Cardstock, den ich am Rand ganz leicht mit Black Soot gewischt habe, dann habe ich ein wenig davon und weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

Und darauf kam dann das Feuerwehrauto. Ich wollte es so aussehen lassen, dass die Feuerwehrleute bei der Alarmierung so schnell losgefahren sind, dass sie gar nicht gemerkt haben, dass der Schlauch nicht ganz aufgerollt war und den nun hinter sich herschleifen. Wie gut, dass sie nicht zu einem Brand, sondern nur zu einer Geburtstagsparty ausrücken!

The firetruck, and all the other images on the card, I colored with Copics. I also used a fireplug and a fire hose here.

Onto the white strip, that goes across the truck, I stamped "hooray" from the Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set by MFT and light brown ink. I also glued down two small, red star confetti here, the window and the blue light I covered with Glossy Accents.

Onto the sky I first glued a skyline, that I die cut with one of the dies from the City Block set by MFT from black cardstock. Behind the windows I put cardstock strips, that inked lightly with Wild Honey. As the ground I used a piece of dark grey cardstock. I inked the edges lightly with Black Soot, then splattered some of it and some white acrylic paint onto it.

Then I glued the firetruck on top. I wanted it to look like those fireworkers responded to the allarm that quickly, that they didn't realize that the hose wasn't stored correctly and that they are dragging it behind the car now. Luckily they are only out for a birthday party and not a real fire!

Und unten auf der Straße habe ich dann den Rest meines Textes aufgeklebt. Das Birthday ist mit der Happy Birthday Stanze von MFT aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, dann habe ich es mit den selben Farben, die ich auch für den Himmel verwendet habe, gewischt und wieder goldene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

Das kleine "it's your" ist wieder aus dem Set Itty Bitty Birthday. 

Und unten rechts habe ich auf den Text  noch einen Feuerwehrhelm aufgeklebt. 

At the bottom of the card, on top of the street, there was room for my text. I die cut the word birthday from white cardstock using the Happy Birthday die by MFT, then inked it with the same colors I had also used for the background. And again I added splatter with gold metallic watercolor.

The little "it's your" is again from the Itty Bitty Birthday set.

To the right I adhered a helmet to the word.

Beim Aufkleben der Elemente habe ich teilweise dünnes und dickes 3D Tape benutzt, der Text ist das höchste Element. Als Deko habe ich auf den Himmel kleine und unten auf die Straße etwas größere goldene Sterne aufgeklebt und mit einem davon auch den I-Punkt ersetzt. 

Zum Schluss habe ich alles schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Whe adhering the elements I partly used thin and thick foam tape, the text ist the most raised element. I added small gold stars to the sky and a bit larger ones onto the street, using one as the tittle of the I.

Then I matted the card panel black and attached it to a white card base.

Ich hole dir die Sterne vom Himmel

Heute zeige ich Euch die Karte, auf der ich das zweite in einem der letzten Posts erwähnte Stempelset von MFT verwendet habe: Twinkle Twinkle. Die Bären sind einfach so zuckersüß, da konnte ich nicht dran vorbei.

Today I am sharing a card with the second stamp set by MFT that I mentioned in one of my my last posts: Twinkle Twinkle. Those bears are so cute, I couldn't resist.

Auch hier bin ich wieder mit einem Stück weißen Cardstocks gestartet und habe den mit Distress Oxide Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire und Black Soot gewischt. Ich wusste bereits, wo sich mein Mond und Stern befinden sollten, diese Bereiche habe ich mit Speckled Egg aufgehellt. Dann habe ich hier etwas Papier zum Abdecken aufgelegt und den Rest des Himmels mit weißer Acrylfarbe und goldener Metallic Watercolor bespritzt.

Again I started with a piece of white cardstock and inked it with Distress Oxide Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. I already knew where I wanted my moon and star to be so I lightened those areas with some Speckled Egg. Then I covered these areas with some paper scraps and splattered white acrylic paint and gold metallic waterolor onto the rest of the sky.

Bei den Motiven habe ich ein wenig abgewandelt - der große Bär hängt eigentlich mit einem Seil von einem Stern herab. Und der kleine Bär hält die Hand seines Vateres und lässt sich die Sterne zeigen. Das Netz hält ein dritter Bär, eigentlich mit der Öffnung nach oben. Aber ich wollte unbedingt die Szene gestalten, die Ihr hier seht.

Also habe ich alle drei Motive abgestempelt und dann jeweils nur die Teile, die ich verwenden wollte, mit Copics coloriert und anschließend ausgeschnitten. Dabei habe ich dem kleinen Bären den rechten Arm, der die Hand seines Vaters hält, weggeschnitten. Er verzeiht es mir bestimmt. Auch das Glas mit den Sternen, der Komet und der Mond sind aus dem Twinkle Twinkle Set. 

Natürlich wollte ich nicht, dass der Innenbereich des Netzes weiß ist, das hätte ja so gar nicht in die Szene gepasst. Also habe ich ihn farblich zum Hintergrund passend in Blautönen coloriert und dann die Netzlinien mit einem feinen weißen Gelstift nachgemalt.

Und bei dem Bär, der das Netz hält, sieht man natürlich, dass er nicht einfach nur da steht. Aber ich finde, es sieht so aus, als würde er sich entweder ganz fest strecken oder aber sogar ein klein wenig springen, um den heranfliegenden Stern einfangen zu können.

I changed the images slightly - the big bear originally hangs on a rope that's attached to a large star, the small one is holding his dad's hand while he explains him the stars. And the net is originally held by a third bear, having the opening at the top. But I really wanted to create the scene you're seeing here.

So I stamped all three images and then only colored the parts I wanted to use with Copics. I cut them out with my scissors and had to cut off the right arm of the smaller bear, that's holding his dad's hand. But I'm sure he's forgiving me. Also the jar with the stars, the comet and the moon are from the Twinkle Twinkle set.

Of course I didn't want the net to be filled with white, that wouldn't have fit the scene. So I colored that area in blues matching the background, then used a fine white gel pen to re-draw the netting. 

And of course you can see, that the bear that's holding the net isn't just standing here. But I think, it looks like he's either stretching or even jumping a bit to be able to catch the star that's coming his direction.

Bei dem Stern habe ich in zwei Schritten gearbeitet. Einmal habe ich nur den Stern an sich auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich den Stern samt Schweif mit goldenem Glitter-Embossingpulver auf den Himmel gestempelt und den ausgeschnittenen Stern dann aufgeklebt. So glitzert nur der Schweif.

Am Himmel habe ich dann noch ein paar dünne Wolken verteilt. Die sind mit dem Cloud Cover Set von MFT aus Vellum gestanzt und aufgeklebt. Dabei habe ich versucht, den Kleber möglichst auf goldenen Spritzern zu platzieren um ihn zu verstecken, das hat aber nicht überall geklappt. Aber das stört mich nicht.

For the star I did two steps. First I stamped just the star onto white cardstock, colored it and cut it out. Then I heat embossed the star with its tail with gold glitter embossing powder onto the sky and glued the cut out star onto it. Now only the tail is glittering.

I also added a few thin clouds to the sky. I cut those with the Cloud Cover set by MFT from vellum and glued them down, trying to place the glue onto the gold splatters to hide it. That didn't work in all the places, but I don't really mind.

Unten habe ich quer über den Hintergrund einen Grashügel geklebt. Der ist mit einer Slimline Grasstanze aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt, die obere Kante habe ich ein wenig mit Speckled Egg gewischt.

Entlang der unteren Kante des Hügels habe ich dann meinen Text angebracht. Der ist aus dem Stempelset Träumen von Stampcorner, ich habe nur die Anordnung auf einzeilig geändert. Er ist mit weißem Pulver aufembosst.

At the bottom of the cardstock I glued a grassy hill onto the sky. I cut that from black cardstock with a slimline grass die and inked the top edge with some of the Speckled Egg.

Along the lower edge I white heat embossed the text - it means "I'll fetch the stars from the sky for you". 

Den Hügel samt großem Bär habe ich mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt, dann habe ich den kleinen Bären wieder mit 3D Tape auf den Hügel geklebt.

Als Deo habe ich drei weiße Herzen aufgeklebt und dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.

I added three white hearts as decoration, then attached the card panel to a white note card.

LawnFawnatics Challenge #177

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Ich habe es ja schon befürchtet - das Thema der neusten LawnFawnatics Challenge ist "Christmas in July". Ich tu mich da immer total schwer, denn Weihnachten ist eines der letzten Dinge, an die ich im Sommer denke, erst recht, wenn eben erst das Wetter mal sommerlich wird. Aber ich habe trotzdem eine Karte gemacht - und hier ist sie.

I already feared it - the theme of the neweste LawnFawnatics challenge is "christmas in july". I always have a hard time with this because christmas is one of the last things I think of during summer, even more when the weather has finally realized that summer is here. But I still managed to make a card - and here it is.

Wir wissen ja alle, dass Faultiere langsam sind. Seeehr langsam. Dieses hier hat noch nicht die Energie gefunden, die Weihnachtsdeko von letztem Jahr wegzuräumen und lieber das ein oder andere ausgiebige Nickerchen gemacht. Nun ist er aufgewacht und fragt sich, ob es sich überhaupt lohnt, die Deko noch wegzuräumen - bei seinem Arbeitstempo. Vorsichtshalber erkundigt er sich mal, ob vielleicht schon wieder Weihnachten ist. Denn das Gefühl für Zeit ist ihm während der vielen Schläfchen auch abhanden gekommen....

Ich habe hier ein Stück dunkelgrünen Cardstock genommen und mit Distress Oxide EvergreenBough, Pine Needles, Peacock Feathers und Rustic Wilderness und dem Tropical Leaves Background Stencil die Blätter aufgewischt. Den Rand des Cardstocks habe ich zudem etwas abgedunkelt.

Dann habe ich den Tropical Leaves Backdrop aus hellgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und ihn von außen her mit Cracked Pistacchio, Evergreen Bough und Rustic Wilderness gewischt. 

Auf beide Cardstockstücke habe ich dann weiße Acrylfarbe gespritzt.

We all know that sloths are slow. Veeery slow. This one hasn't worked up the energy yet to put aways last year's christmas decorations, instead he took more than just a few naps. Now he woke up and is wondering, if it's worth the hassle to put it away - escpecially with the speed he's usually working. Just in case he's asking if it is christmas already. Because with all the naps he also lost track of time...

I cut a piece from dark green cardstock and inked the leaves onto it using the Tropical Leaves Backdrop stencil and Distress Oxide Evergreen Bough, Pine Needles, Peacock Feathers and Rustic Wilderness. I also darkened the edges of the cardstock.

Then I die cut the Tropical Leaves Backdrop from light green cardstock and inked the edges with Cracked Pistacchio, Evergreen Bough and Rustic Wilderness.

I splattered white acrylic paint onto both pieces.

Das kleine Faultier ist aus dem Set Hang in There - ich habe ihm die Nikolausmütze von Santa aus dem Set HoHoHolidays aufgesetzt. 

Hinter ihm ist ein weiterer Ast aus dem Set A Bug Deal zu sehen. Der ist so schön nah, dass das Faultier hier seine Weihnachtssocke aufgehängt hat. So muss es sich zum Abnehmen der gefüllten Socke nicht so weit strecken.... Die Socke ist aus dem Set Christmas Before 'n Afters. Alle Elemente auf der Karte sind mit Copics coloriert. 

The little sloth is from the Hang in There set - he's wearing Santa's hat from the HoHoHolidays set. 

Behind him there's another branch from the A Bug Deal set. This one's wonderfully close, so the sloth has decided to hang up his stocking there. Once it's filled he won't have to stretch so much to reach it.... The stocking is from the Christmas Before 'n Afters set. I colored all images with Copics.

Für den Text musste ich wieder Stempel aus verschiedenen Sets kombinieren: Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments, Plane and Simple und Snow Cool. Das Fragezeichen ist aus dem Set A Bug Deal. Ich habe den Text auf hellen, grün-blauen Cardstock gestempelt und die Streifen nach dem Ausschneiden ein wenig mit Copics schattiert.

For the text I had to combine stamps from different sets again: Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments, Plane and Simple and Snow Cool. The question mark is from the A Bug Deal set. I stamped the text onto light blue-ish green cardstock and then shaded the strips lightly with Copics.

Für die Weihnachtsdeko von letztem Jahr habe ich einige Christbaumkugeln aus den Sets Joy to the Woods und Winter Birds Add-On abgestempelt, coloriert und ausgeschnitten.

Und sogar die Lichterkette hängt noch in den Blättern. Die ist mit der Mini String of Lights Stanze gemacht. Ich habe die ganzen Lichterketten aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und hiervon später nur die Glühbirnen samt Fassung verwendet. Die Glühbirnen habe ich wieder aus dem grün-blauen Cardstock gestanzt, mit Copics schattiert und dann mit Glossy Accents überzogen.

Nach dem Trocknen habe ich sie zusammen mit den Christbaumkugeln zwischen die Blätter geklebt. Als Kabel der Lichterkette habe ich ein Stück schwarzes Twine verwendet und von einer Glühbirne zur nächsten durch die Blätter gewickelt. 

Die Christbaumkugeln habe ich ein wenig mit Stickles beglittert.

Und ganz zum Schluss habe ich beschlossen, noch ein paar tropische Blumen auf die Karte zu bringen. Kurz hatte ich überlegt, hier kleine Weihnachtsstern-Blüten zu verwenden, dann aber lieber die Hibiskusblüten aus dem Set Magic Iris Tropical Leaves Add-On zu benutzen. Ich habe alles aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, die Blütenmitten gelb, die Blüten zartrosa coloriert und nach dem Aufkleben auch hier ein wenig Stickles aufgetragen.

For the christmas decorations I stamped some ornaments from the sets Joy to the Woods and Winter Birds Add-On, colored them and cut them out.

And even the christmas lights are still wrapped around the jungle leaves. I made that with the Mini String of Lights die, die cutting the whole strings from black cardstock. From those I cut off the light bulbs and sockets and only used those. The light bulb I die cut again from the blue-ish green cardstock, shaded them with Copics and covered them with Glossy Accents.

After the Glossy Accents had dried I put the lights and the ornaments between the leaves. As the string I used a piece of black twine, wrapping it around the leaves from one bulb to the next.

The ornaments I glittered with a bit of Stickles.

And very last minute I decided to add a few tropical flowers. I had considered small poinsettia flowers but then went with these hibiskus flowers from the Magic Iris Tropical Leaves Add-On die set. I die cut them from white cardstock, colored the flower centers yellow, the flowers a very soft pink and after adhering them put Stickles onto them. 

Ich habe dünnes und dickes 3D Tape zum Zusammensetzen der Karte verwendet und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I used thin and thick foam tape to put the scene together and then adhered it to a white card base.

Sommer auf dem Land

Im Juli-Release von Stampcorner gab es so viele tolle Motive, ich bin noch gar nicht dazu gekommen, alle zu benutzen. Auf dieser Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeige, darf es sich das kleine Pferd gemütlich machen. Es sitzt im Schatten eines Baumes und genießt den Sommer.

There were so many cute images in Stampcorner's july release that I didn't get to use them all so far. On this card, that I'm sharing on the Stampcorner Blog today, I used the little horse. It's sitting in the shade of an old tree and enjoys summer.

Irgendwie hatte ich bei diesem Motiv sofort Heu im Kopf - und so war die Idee zu dieser Szene schnell geboren.

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks. Ich habe mit einem Stempel aus dem Set Scene Builder von MFT Hügel aufgestempelt, die kann man aber auch einfach per Hand ziehen. Dann habe ich sie mit Distress Oxide Crushed Olive, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn und Rustic Wilderness grün eingefärbt. Ich wollte den leicht goldenen Touch, den die abgemähten Felder im Sommer oft haben, auf die Karte bringen, deswegen habe ich das Crushed Olive dazu kombiniert. 

Mit dem Wolkenstencil von Stampcorner und Salvaged Patina habe ich den Himmel mit einer dicken Wolken im Hintergrund gestaltet.

Nur auf die Felder habe ich grüne Metallic Watercolor, anschließend über den kompletten Cardstock weiße Acrylfarbe gespritzt. 

Ich wollte das Farm-Feeling noch ein wenig verstärken. Deswegen habe ich die Build a Barn Stanze von LawnFawn verwendet und den roten Schuppen gestaltet. Weil er sonst zu hoch geworden wäre, habe ich das obere Stockwerk abgeschnitten. Ich habe ihn aus farbigem und weißem Cardstock gestanzt und die Teile mit Fired Brick, Pumice Stone und Hickory Smoke schattiert. Dann habe ich mit einem braunen Multiliner quer Linien aufgemalt und das Holzmuster mit einem dünnen weißen Gelstift hinzugefügt. Außerdem habe ich den Farm Fence von MFT aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. 

When I saw the image I immediately thought of hay - and so the idea for this card was born.

The background is made from a piece of white cardstock. I used a stamp from the Scene Builder set by MFT to stamp the hills onto it, but you can easily draw them by hand. Then I inked them with Distress Oxide Crushed Olive, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness. I wanted the touch of a light gold those fields have during summer when they just got mowed, that's why I added the Crushed Olive. 

Using the cloud stencil by Stampcorner and Salvaged Patina I created the sky with some large clouds in the distance.

Only onto the fields I splattered some green metallic watercolor, then I did white over the whole cardstock.

I wanted to get more of a farm feeling here. So I used the Build a Barn die by LawnFawn to create a red barn. Because it would have gotten too tall I've cut off the top floor. I die cut it from white and colored cardstock and shaded the pieces with Fired Brick, Pumice Stone and Hickory Smoke. Then I used a brown Multiliner to draw some horizontal lines and added the wood pattern with a thin white gel pen. I also die cut the Farm Fence by MFT from white cardstock.

Das kleine Pferd sitzt unten rechts auf der Karte und kaut gemütlich auf einem Strohhalm. 

Der Strohhaufen ist aus dem Set The Whole Herd von MFT, der Strohballen und auch die kleinen Blümchen in der Wiese sind aus dem Set You Goat This von LawnFawn. Alle Motive sind mit Copics coloriert. 

Ich habe auch noch ein paar gestanzte Grasbüschel zwichen die Motive gesteckt.

The little horse is sitting at the bottom right of the card and is chewing on straw.

The hay stack is from the The Whole Herd set by MFT, the bale and the little flowers in the meadow are from the You Goat This set by LawnFawn. I colored all images with Copics.

I also tucked some die cut grass between the images.

Damit das Pferd so in der Mittagshitze keinen Hitzschlag bekommt, habe ich rechts einen Baum gepflanzt, der für Schatten sorgt. Den Baumstamm habe ich aus Woodgrain Cardstock gestanzt, das Laub mit diversen Wolkenstanzen aus grünem Cardstock, den ich dann mit Rustic Wilderness gewischt habe.

Oben auf der Karte war dann auch Platz für einen kleinen Text. Ich habe einige Zeit überlegt, was ich gerne hätte, mich dann aber für ein ganz einfaches "Sommer" aus dem Set Sommer Sonne entschieden. Ich habe es mit weißem Embossingpulver direkt auf den Himmel embosst und als Deko drei kleine weiße Herzen mit aufgeklebt.

To make sure the little horse doesn't get a heatstroke out there in the summer heat I planted a large tree at the right side of the card that is now providing some nice shadow. I cut the trunk from Woodgrain cardstock, the leaves I made from green cardstock using different cloud dies and then shaded them with Rustic Wilderness.

In the upper half of the card I also found room for my text. I wasn't sure what I wanted to use and then decided to go with a simmple "summer". I white heat embossed it directly onto the sky and then added three small white hearts.

Um ein wenig Tiefe auf die Karte zu bringen, habe ich den Baumstamm, Teile des Laubs und das Stroh mit dünnem, das Pferd und weitere Laubteile mit dickem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

Dann habe ich alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.

To bring a bit of depth to the scene I used thin foam tape to adhere the tree trunk, parts of the leaves and the hay, the horse and a few more of the leaves I backed with this foam tape.

Then I attached the card panel to a white note card.

Ich muss ja gestehen, dass ich schon länger keine Stempel von MFT mehr gekauft habe - entweder war der Stil nicht meins oder aber sie waren alten Sets, die ich bereits habe, sehr ähnlich. Bei einem der letzten Releases waren dann aber doch zwei Sets, denen ich nicht widerstehen konnte. Und eines davon habe ich auf dieser Karte verwendet: das Hula Hippos Set.

I have to admit that I haven't bought any MFT stamps for quite some time - either I didn't like the style or they were too close to other sets by them I already have. But in one of ther lastest releases there were two sets that I couldn't resist. One of them I used on this card: the Hula Hippos set.

Natürlich ist damit dann eine Karte mit tropischer Strandparty-Szene entstanden.

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks, den ich in zwei Hälften unterteilt habe: Himmel und Meer mit Strand. Zuerst habe ich für die Sonne einen Kreis aus Masking Tape aufgeklebt, dann die untere Hälfte des Cardstocks abgedeckt und den Himmel mit Distress Oxide Candied Apple, Lumberjack Plaid, Seedless Preserves, Villainous Potion, Chipped Sapphire und Black Soot gewischt. Die Sonne habe ich mit Fossilized Amber und Crackling Campfire durch dass Negativ meiner Sonnen-Maske gewischt. Anschließend habe ich das Meer gewischt und dafür die selben Farben verwendet und nur das Black Soot weggelassen. Für die Reflektionen auf dem Wasser habe ich den Beach Sunset Stencil von LawnFawn benutzt. 

Nur auf den Himmel habe ich etwas weiße Acrylfarbe gespritzt.

Of course I made a card with a tropical beach party scene.

The background is made from a piece of white cardstock, that I divided into two parts: the sky and the ocean with the beach. First I cut a circle from masking paper for my  sun, then covered the bottom half of my cardstock and inked the sky  with Distress Oxide Candied Apple, Lumberjack Plaid, Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. For the sun I used Fossilized Amber and Crackling Campfire, using the negative of my sun mask. 

Next  I created the water, using the same  inks just skipping the Black Soot. For the reflections on the water I used the Beach Sunset stencils by LawnFawn.

Only onto the sky I splattered  some white acrylic paint.

Da ich etwas Dimension auf  die Karte bringen wollte habe ich den Strand mit einer Wellenstanze aus hellbraunem Cardstock  gestanzt und mit Distress Oxide Scorched Timber gewischt. Dann  habe ich auch hier etwas weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. 

Außerdem habe  ich in den Strand mit den Beach Accents Stanzen von LawnFawn drei Hügel gestanzt, hinter die ich dann einige der Motive  geschoben habe.

I wanted to give my card  some dimension so I used a wavy border die to cut my beach from some light brown cardstock and inked it with Distress Oxide Scorched Timber. Then I added white splatters to the beach as well.

I also used the Beach Accents dies by LawnFawn to cut three hills into the sand that I tucked some of my images behind later.

Die Motive sind alle aus dem Hula Hippos Set und mit Copics coloriert. An den Bereichen, die noch ein wenig von der untergehenden Sonne beschienen werden, habe ich gelbe Kanten hinzugefügt. Außerdem habe ich mit einem dunkelgrauen Marker Schatten vor die Motive in den Sand gemalt. 

Das Grasbüschel vor der Palme habe ich übrigens erst recht spät hinzugefügt. Da im Stempelset kein Gras enthalten ist, habe ich einfach eines der Grasbüschel aus dem Beach Sunset Stencil mit einem schwarzen Marker nachgemalt, coloriert und ausgeschnitten. 

The images are all from the Hula Hippos set and colored with Copics. I added some yellow ink to those edges of the images, that still get a tiny it of light from the setting sun. I also used a dark grey marker to add shadows of the images in the sand.

The grass in front of the palm tree is something, that I decided to add last minute. Since there is no grass in the stamp set I simply traced one of the grasses from the Beach Sunset stencil with a black marker, colored it in and cut it out.

Den Text der Karte habe ich direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt und weiß embosst.

Dann habe ich, ebenfalls mit einem schwarzen Marker, noch drei Vögel durch den Stencil aufgemalt.

I stamped the text directly onto the background and heat embossed it white.

Then I used a black marker and the stencil again to add three birds to the sky.

Den Strand mitsamt den Motiven habe ich dann mit dünnem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt und die Sonne, die Flammen in den Fackeln und auch die von der Sonne beschienenen Kanten ein wenig mit Stickles beglittert.

Ganz zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I used thin foam tape to adhere the beach with the images onto the background. Then I added Stickles to the sun, the flames in the tiki torches and the edges hit by the sunlight.

As the last step I attached my card panel to a white note card.

Eine Karte für ein Geldgeschenk

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Karte, die als Verpackung für ein Geldgeschenk entstanden ist. Könnt Ihr den Schein darin entdecken?

Today I am sharing a card I made to give away some money. Can you spot the bill there?

Die Karte ist für einen jungen Mann gedacht, deswegen ist sie eher einfach und in gedeckten Farben gehalten. Ganz non cute konnte ich dann aber doch nicht....

Ich habe die Teile alle aus blauem Cardstock gemacht, sie sollten wie eine Jeans aussehen. Die Tasche ist mit der Money Pocket Stanze von LawnFawn gemacht. Aus dem selben Cardstock habe ich auch den Hintergrund geschnitten. Dann habe ich einen Hintergrundstempel mit Leinenstruktur mit Distress Ink Faded Jeans auf alle Teile gestempelt und anschließend auch alle Ränder damit gewischt.

Auf den Hintergrund habe ich goldene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt - aber ich muss zugeben, dass ich mich dazu erst entschieden habe, als bereits alle Deko aufgeklebt war. Die habe ich stückchenweise abgedeckt und die Farbe aufgespritzt - ein paar kleine Spritzer sind aber dann doch auf der Deko gelandet. Aber das macht ja nichts.

I made this card for a young  man so I kept it a bit simpler and used some not so bright colors. But I just couldn't not add some cute images...

I created all pieces from blue cardstock, I wanted it to look like blue denim. The pocket is made using the Money Pocket die by LawnFawn. The same cardstock I also used for my background. I first stamped a background stamp with a linen pattern onto all the pieces using Distress Ink Faded Jeans, then inked all the edges with the same ink.

I splattered some gold metallic watercolor onto the background - but I have to admit, that I decided to do that after I had adhered all the decorations. So I covered it piece by piece and added the splatters - but a few small ones still hit the decorations. Honestly, I don't mind at all.

Natürlich wollte ich, dass die Karte auch nach dem Herausnehmen des Geldes noch schön aussieht und habe auch hinter der Tasche Motive angebracht. Das wollte ich Euch gleich zeigen, denn so seht Ihr die Karte von nun an hier im Post.

Of course I wanted my card to still look good once the money has been taken out. So I put some images also behind the pocket. That's what I wanted to show you right away, because this is how you will see the card from now on here in this post.

Bei der Tasche habe ich für die Klappe den Aufleger ein zweites Mal gestanzt und nur die Klappe mit der Schere mit etwas Abstand zur gestitchten Linie ausgeschnitten. Die habe ich dann am oberen Rand direkt auf das Stanzteil darunter, an der Spitze mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

Den Knopf habe ich aus goldenem Spiegel-Cardstock gestanzt und dann ebenfalls mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

Und weil ich wollte, dass die Nähte weiß sind, habe ich sie mit einem weißen Gelstift nachgezeichnet und auch rechts und links entlang der Kante des Hintergrunds jeweils eine doppelte gestitchte Linie aufgezeichnet.

Das Geld ist aus dem How You Bean Money Add-On Set von LawnFawn. Ich habe den größeren Haufen per Masking zweimal aneinander gestempelt, damit er breit genug für das größere Taschenfach ist. Außerdem habe ich einige einzelne Geldscheine abgestempelt und dann alles mit Copics coloriert. Die einzelnen Scheine habe ich später geknickt und aus dem vorderen Taschenfach hängen lassen.

Zwischen all das Geld habe ich dann zwei - halt drei - Mäuse gesetzt. Die sind aus dem Whoosh Kites Set. Die Schnur, die die Maus links eigentlich hält, habe ich durch eine Münze ersetzt.

Über der rechten Maus habe ich dann eine Sprechblase aus dem Set All the Speechbubbles, gestempelt mit dem Faded Jeans, aufgeklebt. Als Text habe ich ein Cha-Ching, wieder aus dem How You Bean Money Add-On Set, aufgestempelt.

To create a flap on the pocket I die cut the smaller piece again and used my scissors to cut out the flap with a bit of a distance to the stitched line. The top edge I glued directly onto whole pocket piece, at the bottom/tip I used foam tape.

I die cut the button from gold mirror cardstock and used foam tape again to attach it.

And since I really wanted my stitches to be white I used a white gel pen and re-drew them. Also along the left and right edge of the background I drew stitched lines, here I decided to with double lines.

The money is from the How You Bean Money Add-On set by LawnFawn. I did some masking with the large image from the set to get a pile of money wide enough to fill the larger pocket. I also stamped some individual bills and colored everything with Copics. Those individual bills I folded over later and let them hang out of the smaller pocket later.

Between all the money I put two - stop, three - mice. They are from the Whoosh Kites set. The string, the mouse on the left is holding originally, I replaced with a coin. 

Over the right mouse's head I added a speechbubble from the All the Speechbubbles set, that I stamped with the same Faded Jeans. Into it I stamped a "cha-ching", again from the How You Bean Money Add-On set.

Unten auf der Karte war dann Platz für einen Text. 

Aus goldenem Spiegel-Cardstock habe ich die Buchstaben für das Wort YAY! ausgestanzt und die Schattenlage aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Da es sich um einzelne Buchstaben handelt, habe ich zumindest die Schattenteile aufeinander geklebt und dann die Buchstaben obenauf.

Die beiden anderen Texte sind aus dem Set How You Bean Money Add-On und sind weiß auf hellgrünen Cardstock embosst.

At the bottom of the cardstock, under the pocket, there was room for my text.

I die cut the letters for the word "yay!" from gold mirror cardstock and the shadow layers from white cardstock. Since these are individual letters I connected the white shadows and then glued the gold letters on top.

The other texts are from the How You Bean Money Add-On set and white heat embossed onto light green cardstock.

Zum Zusammensetzen der Karte habe ich dann teilweise dünnes und dickes 3D Tape verwendet, hinter dem Wort YAY! sind sogar beide Varianten aufeinander verwendet. 

Als Deko habe ich noch ein paar goldene Pailetten-Sterne hinzugefügt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

To put the card together I partly used thin and thick foam tape, behind the word YAY! I even used both verstions on top of each other.

I added a few gold star confetti as decoration and then adhered the card panel to a white note card.

Karte oder Wimmelbild?

Mit dieser Karte sind die Pferde - oder Mäuse - wohl ein wenig mit mir durchgegangen.... Aber dazu gleich mehr.

I think, on this card I went a bit overboard with all the images... But a bit more about that later.

 

Zuerst einmal sieht die Karte gar nicht so "wild" aus. Ich glaube, es war vorletztes Jahr, dass PrettyPinkPosh  Stempelsets mit Fahrzeugen herausgebracht hat. Und ich hatte mir die damals bestellt. Als nun vor kurzem drei weitere Sets herauskamen, musste ich die als Jungs-Oma natürlich auch haben. Und hier habe ich sie benutzt. 

Ich habe hier eine Gatefold Card gemacht, die mit einer Banderole geschlossen gehalten wird. Für die Banderole habe ich die Diagonal Stripes Border Stanze von LawnFawn benutzt und sie aus rotem sowie den Schatten aus weißem Cardstdock gestanzt, denn so erinnert sie mich an eine Absperrung. Damit die Banderolen auch jeweils einmal rund um meine Karte passt, habe ich sie per Partial Diecutting verlängert,dann gekreuzt aufeinander geklebt und um die Karte gelegt.

At first, this card doesn't look "wild" at all. I think, it was two years ago, that PrettyPinkPosh released some stamp sets with vehicles and I had ordered them back then. When they release three more sets recently, me as a boys grandma of course had to get them. And I used them on this card.

I made a gatefold card here, that is held closed by a sleeve. For the sleeve I used the Diagonal Stripes Border die by LawnFawn and die cut it from red and the shadow from white cardstock because that reminded me of a barrier. To make the borders long enough to fit around my card I did some partial diecutting to make them longer, than glued them crossed onto each other and wrapped it around the card base.

Oben auf die Banderole habe ich schon mal die ersten Baustellenmotive geklebt. Auf einer Straße befindet sich ein Lastwagen sowie zwei Pylonen, eine Straßenabsperrung und ein Verkehrsschild. Zu diesen Stempeln dann gleich noch mehr.

Außerdem habe ich hier auch noch einen Text angebracht. Das Danger ist aus einem Stempelset von StudioG und schwarz auf dunkelgelben Cardstock gestempelt. Den Text "Roadworks Adhead" habe ich mit einem Alphabet von WhimsyStamps auf heller-gelbem Cardstock zusammengesetzt.

On top of the sleeve I added the first construction images. On a street there's a truck, two pylons, a barrier and a street sign. More about the images a bit later.

I also added a text here. The Danger is from a stamp set by StudioG and stamped black onto dark yellow cardstock. The "roadworks ahead" text I put together using an alphabet set by WhimsyStamps, stamping it onto lighter yellow cardstock.

Das Wort Danger habe ich direkt auf eine der Klappen der Kartenfront geklebt, es bleibt nach dem Abziehen der Banderole auf der Karte.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich mir einen Sechseckstencil nach der Größe des Stopschilds aus dem Set Across the Miles Stempelset gemacht. Durch diesen Stencil habe ich dann mit Distress Ink Barn Door ein Stück weißen Cardstocks rote Sechsecke gewischt. Auf die habe ich später mit weißem Embossingpulver das Stoppschild  - mehr oder weniger perfekt - aufembosst.

Die Ränder des Cardstocks habe ich mit Distress Ink Scorched Timber ein wenig schattiert. 

I glued the word danger directly onto one of the flaps of the card front, it is still visible after the sleeve has been taken off.

For the background I created myself a hexagon stencil in the size of the stop sign from the Across the Miles stamp set. Using this stencil and Distress Ink Barn Door I filled a piece of white cardstock with red hexagons. Later I white heat embossed the stop sign onto them - more or less perfectly, but I don't mind.

I used Distress Ink Scorched Timber to darken the edges of the cardstock.

Auf den weißen Cardstock habe ich dann noch goldene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt. Dann habe ich ihn schwarz gemattet, mittig halbiert und auf die beiden Klappen meiner Gatefold Card geklebt.

I added splatters with some gold metallic watercolor to the cardstock, then matted it black, cut it in half and adhered the pieces to the front flaps of my gatefold card.

So, und beim Blick ins Innere der Karte versteht Ihr sicherlich auch meinen Posttitel. Ich konnte mich einfach nicht beherrschen und einmal mehr passend die Mäuse von LawnFawn einfach perfekt zu all den Baustellenfahrzeugen. Und ehrlich gesagt, war das auch der Grund, warum ich eine Gatefold Card gemacht habe. Auf eine normale Karte hätte ich diese Szene nie untergebracht.

Well, and with one look on the inside of the card you understand, why I named this post "is it a card or a hidden object picture". I just couldn't resist and those mice by LawnFawn once again fit perfectly with all those construction vehicles. And to be honest, that's also the reason why I made a gatefold card. There would have been no way to fit this scene onto a regular card front.

Den Himmel habe ich mit Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass gewischt - ich glaube, da war noch ein wenig Salvaged Patina auf dem Pinsel, aber ich finde die Farbe klasse.

Darunter habe ich eine Lage Häuse aus hellgrauem Cardstock aufgeklebt, die ich mit einer Stanze aus dem Slimline Cityscapes Stanzenset von WhimsyStamps gestanzt habe. Dahinter habe ich dann noch einige weitere Häuser, gemacht aus schwarzem Cardstock mit einer Stanze aus dem Cityline und Tower Set von Kulricke, gesetzt. Beides habe ich an den oberen Rand der Karte geklebt und darunter quer verlaufend eine Straße gesetzt. Die ist aus dem Set Open Road von MFT und wieder per Partial Diecutting verlängert.

 

I inked the sky with Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass. Seems like there was some Salvaged Patina left on the brush but I like the color the way it is.

On top I adhered a skyline, made from grey cardstock using a die from the Slimline Cityscapes die set by Whimsystamps. Behind those houses I put a few more, this time die cut from black cardstock using a die from the Cityline and Tower set by Kulricke. I put the houses close to the top edge of the card and put a street under it. This one I made using a die from the Open Road set by MFT and again did some partial diecutting to make it longer.

 

 Hier, quer über die Häuser, habe ich dann auch den Text meiner Karte untergebracht. Der ist mit schwarzer Tinte auf gelben Cardstock gestempelt und weiß gemattet. Für den Text habe ich Stempel aus den LawnFawn Sets Oh what Fun, Treat Cart Sentiment Add-On, Berry Special und Apple-Solutely Awesome kombiniert.

Here, across the houses, I found space for my text. I stamped it with black ink onto yellow cardstock and matted it white. For the text I combined stamps from the LawnFawn sets Oh what Fun, Treat Cart Sentiment Add-On, Berry Special and Apple-Solutely Awesome.

Und darunter ist die Straßenbaustelle in vollem Gange. Ich finde, man sieht den Mäusen an, wie viel Spaß sie bei der Arbeit haben. 

Für den erdigen Boden habe ich den Rest der Karte mit Distress Oxide Frayed Burlap und Scorched Timber bewusst ein wenig fleckig gewischt. Dann habe ich schwarze und braune Metallic Watercolor sowie weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

Under the far-off city there's the road construction scene and you can see, how much fun those mice have at work.

For the ground I inked the rest of the card with Distress Oxide Frayed Burlap and Scorched Timber, keeping it a bit splotchy on purpose. Then I added splatters with black and brown metallic watercolor and white acrlic paint.

Für die Verbindungsstraße zwischen der Stadt und der im Bau befindlichen Straße habe ich die On the Road Stanze von LawnFawn benutzt. Alle Straßen habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und sie mit schwarzer und silberner Metallic Watercolor sowie weißer Acrylfarbe bespritzt. Bis auf die große Straße vorne/unten habe ich die Mittelstreifen mit weißem Cardstock hinterlegt.

Die Motive hier sind alle aus den Sets Helper Vehicles, Utility Vehicles, Construction Trucks und Construction Additions von PrettyPinkPosh und mit Copics coloriert. Dann habe ich sie per Hand ausgeschnitten.

For the road between the city and the road under construction I used the On the Road die by LawnFawn. I die cut all  the streets here from black cardstock and splattered black and silver metallic watercolor and white acrylic paint onto them. The center lines I made from white cardstock.

All images are from the stamp sets Helper Vehicles, Utility Vehicles, Construction Trucks and Construction Additions by PrettyPink Posh. I colored them all with Copics and cut them out by hand.

Die Straße vorne besteht einfach aus einem Streifen schwarzen Cardstocks. In den habe ich in der Mitte ein Oval mit einer der Oval Shadows Stanzen von MFT ausgestanzt, um ein Loch, das der Bagger gerade ausgehoben hat, darzustellen. 

Die Mäuse sind aus den Sets Berry Special, Apple-Solutely Awesome, Veggie Happy, Whoosh Kites, Sew Very Mice und Hay There Hayrides Mice Add-On. Aus letzterem ist die kleine Maus, die am Steuer des Baggers links sitzt - sogar die passt perfekt. Natürlich tragen alle Mäuse vorschriftsmäßig einen Baustellenhelm aus einem der Sets von PrettyPinkPosh. Und aus deren Sets sind neben den Fahrzeugen auch all die kleinen Motive wie Pylonen, Straßenschilder, Erd- und Steinhaufen, Schaufeln, Straßensperren und der Hydrant. 

The street in the front is simply made from a strip of black cardstock. I used one of the Oval Shadows by MFT to die cut an oval into its center to create the hole, that the mice just digged. 

The mice are from the sets Berry Special, Apple-Solutely Awesome, Veggie Happy, Whoosh Kites, Sew Very Mice and Hay There Hayrides Mice Add-On. From this last set comes the little mouse driving the excavator on the left - even this one was perfect in size. Of course all the mice are following the rules and are wearing helmets from one of the PrettyPinkPosh sets. Besides the vehicles also all those small images like the pylons, street signs, soil and stone piles, shovels, barriers and the hydrant come from their sets.

Und auf der rechten Seite läuft noch eine Maus mit Schubkarre, die ebenfalls aus dem Set Veggie Happy ist. Vorne, in der Mitte der Karte, seht Ihr übrigens den Bauleiter, der sich über sein tolles Team und die gute Arbeit freut.

Damit die Karte auch zu schließen ist, habe ich alle Motive direkt aufgeklebt und auf 3D Tape komplett verzichtet.

On the right side there's a mouse with a wheelbarrow, that's also from the Veggie Happy set. In the bottom center you can see the construction manager, who's overly excited about his team and the great work.

To make sure the card can still be closed I adhered all images directly and without any foam tape.

So, vielleicht mag mein Enthusiasmus hier ein wenig mit mir durchgegangen sein, aber: mein Enkel liebt die Karte!

Well, my fantasy might have gotten a bit overboard here but let me tell you: my grandson loves this card!
