Am Freitag gab es wieder eine neue Episode von Craft Roulette und ich habe den gestrigen Samstag dazu genutzt, ein Werk mit den Parametern dieser Woche zu machen. Es ist keine Karte geworden, sondern ein großer Tag. Und weil ich zu einem der Parameter tatsächlich nichts da hatte, war die Episode eine Herausforderung für mich. Aber ich habe einen Weg gefunden.

Friday a new episode of Craft Roulette aired and I used yesterday to make my project with the new parameters. I didn't make a card but a large tag. And because there's one of the parameters that I didn't  have anything for this episode was a real challenge. But I found a way.

This week's parameters are:

project: tag with pocket

colors: trick or treat

element: robot(s)

random: three strips of paper.

And yes, I really was at a loss in the first moment.

 

Im Endeffek habe ich einen großen Tag gestaltet, den ich mit einer Stanze von Sizzix aus Designpapier mit Weltallmuster gestanzt habe. Die Lage aus weißem Cardstock dahinter habe ich dann per Hand zugeschnitten und beide Teile aufeinander geklebt.

 

Finally I decided to make a large tag, die cutting it with a die by Sizzix from patterned paper with a space pattern. I cut the white layer behind it with my paper cutter and glued both pieces together.

 

 Für die Tasche, die  auf dem Tag enthalten sein soll, habe ich die Money Pocket Stanze von LawnFawn benutzt. Da die wie eine Jacken- oder Hosentasche aussieht,  habe ich sie aus blauem Papier mit Jeansmuster ausgestanzt. Das Blau passt auch super zum Designpapier im Hintergrund. Die Teile habe ich mit Alcoholmarkern ein wenig schattiert. 

Ich habe den Knopf aus orangefarbenem Hologramm-Cardstock gestanzt, die hintere Lage, die tatsächlich eine Tasche ist, aus olivgrünem Cardstock. So bekommt mein Werk auch gleich Halloween-Farben. Durch die Löcher im Knopf habe ich schwarzes Twine gezogen. 

Und hier habe ich dann auch die drei Papierstreifen, ein weiterer Parameter, untergebracht. Dafür  habe ich je einen orangefarbenen Hologramm-Cardstock- und einen silbernen Glittercardstock-Streifen quer über den Tag und auch die olivgrüne Tasche geklebt. Den dritten Streifen habe ich benutzt, um meinen Text unterzubringen. Der Streifen ist aus schwarzem Cardstock, ich habe einen Text aus dem You're Clawsome Stempelset von LawnFawn weiß darauf embosst.  

Und weil es so schön zum Thema Roboter passt, habe ich mit Stanzen von Sizzix einige Zahnräder aus matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock gestanzt und im unteren Teil als Deko auf den Tag geklebt.

 

For the pocket, that had to be included, I used the Money Pocket die by LawnFawn. Since it looks like the pocket of some trousers or a jacket I die cut it from blue paper with a jeans pattern. The blue also goes perfectly with the patterned paper in the background. I shaded the pieces with alcohol markers.

The button I die cut from orange holographic cardstock, the back layer, that is actually a pocket, from olive green cardstock. This way I was adding the Halloween colors. I put some black twine through the holes in the button.

And here I also added the three strips of paper that were one of the parameters. I cut one strip from orange holographic cardstock, one from silver glitter cardstock and glued both across the tag and also the olive green pocket. The third strip I used to add my text. I cut the strip from black cardstock and white heat embossed a text from You're Clawsome by LawnFawn onto it.

And because it goes perfectly with the robot theme I used dies by Sizzix to die cut some gears from matte silver metallic cardstock and added those to the bottom of the tag.

 

 Und dann musste ich kreativ werden. Das einzige Roboter-Motiv, das ich habe, ist von LawnFawn und war viel zu klein für meine Karte. Also habe ich überlegt, was sonst passen könnte und mir sind die Roboter-Arme aus dem Galaxy Transport Stanzenset von StudioLight eingefallen. Aus denen und der Kuppel des Ufos habe ich dann einen Roboter gebastelt. Ich habe ihn aus silbernem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt und mittig aus dem Gesicht ein Fenster herausgeschnitten. Um das habe ich einen dünnen Rahmen aus grünem Metallic-Cardstock geklebt und es mit orangefarbenem Hologramm-Cardstock hinterlegt. Das ist der Bildschirm mit den Augen. Die bestehen aus grünen Wackelaugen, außerdem habe ich zwei rosafarbene Backen aufgeklebt. Oben am Kopf befindet sich eine grüne Antenne, die ebenfalls aus dem Galaxy Transport Set ist. 

Um den Roboter etwas mechanischer aussehen zu lassen, habe ich rechts und links des Kopf zwei Schrauben aus silbernem Hologramm-Cardstock angebracht, die mit einer Stanze aus dem Build-a-Toolbox Set von LawnFawn sind. Aus dem selben Cardstock habe ich dann noch einige kleine Schrauben ausgestanzt und auf dem Roboter verteilt. 

Ich habe den Roboter hinter die blaue Tasche geklebt. Über ihm befindet sich dann noch eine Sprechblase. Sie ist aus schwarzem Cardstock, auf den ich weiß einen Text aus dem Set Retro Game von HeroArts aufembosst habe. 

 

And then I had to get creative. The only robot image I have is by LawnFawn but it was way too small for my card. So I tried to find something I could build a robot from - and came across the robot arms from Galaxy Transport by StudioLight. I used these and the top of the UFO to create my robot. I die cut the pieces from silver glitter cardstock and cut a window from the center of the face. I put a thin frame, cut from green metallic cardstock, around it and backed it with orange holographic cardstock. This makes the screen with the eyes. For the eyes I used some green googly eyes. I also added some pink cheeks. And on top of  the head I glued a gren antenna, that is again made using a die from Galaxy Transport.

To make the robot look a bit more mechanically I glued a screw behind the left and right of the head, made from silver holographic cardstock using a die from Build-a-Toolbox by LawnFawn. From the same cardstock I also cut some small screw heads and glued those onto the robot.

I tucked the robot behind the blue pocket. Above it I added a speech bubble. I made that from black cardstock, that I white heat embossed one of the texts from Retro Game by HeroArts onto.  

 

 In die grüne Tasche kann man dann auch eine Geschenkkarte stecken. Damit die auch problemlos reingeschoben/rausgezogen werden kann, habe ich die Sprechblase an einem Streifen Acetate geklebt und das andere Ende hinter dem Roboter angeklebt. So schwebt sie quasi über dem Tag.

 

You can put a giftcard into the green pocket. To make sure it can easily be put in and taken out I glued it to a strip of acetate and adhered the other end to the robot's back. This way it's kind of floating on the tag.

 

 Zum Schluss fehlte noch etwas am oberen Ende des Tags.

Ich habe den Lochverstärker durch ein weiteres Zahnrad ersetzt und ein kleineres daneben geklebt.

Dann habe ich aus olivgrünem Cardstock eine der Regency Bow No 1 Schleifen von TheGreetery ausgestanzt, ein wenig mit Alkoholmarkern schattiert und oben auf den Tag geklebt.

 

In the end the top of my tag was missing some decoration.

I replaced the hole reinforer with another gear and glued a smaller one next to it. Then I die cut one of the Regency Bow No 1 dies by TheGreetery from olive green cardstock, lightly shaded it with alcohol markers and glued it to the top of the tag.

 

 Da die olivgrüne Tasche bereits etwas erhöht ist, habe ich den blauen Aufleger und auch den schwarzen Textstreifen jeweils mit dünnem 3D Tape hinterlegt. Alle anderen Teile sind direkt auf den Tag geklebt. 

 

Since the green pocket is alreay a bit raised I only backed the blue pocket and the black text strip with thin foam tape. All the other pieces I glued directly onto the tag.

 

Und dies ist mal wieder ein Werk, das ich so garantiert nie gemacht hätte. Aber genau das mag ich an Craft Roulette - es holt einen definitiv aus der Komfortzone!

Machen wir noch den Parameter-Check:

Tag with Pocket: Ich habe einen großen Tag gemacht und sogar zwei Taschen darauf angebracht.

Trick or Treat Colors, also Halloween: dunkelblau, orange, olivgrün und silber gehören für mich definitiv in diese Kategorie.

Robot(s): hinter der blauen Tasche schaut ein - selbstgebauter - Roboter hervor.

Three strips of Paper: ein orangefarbener und ein silberfarbener Streifen quer über den Tag und die Tasche, der dritte Streifen darüber enthält meinen Text. 

 

And this is once again a project I would never have made like this on my own. But that's what I love about Craft Roulette: it definately makes you leave your comfort zone!

So, let's do the parameter check:

Ein Weihnachtstag in Schneekugelform

Ich hatte Euch ja bereits weitere "Christmas in July" Karten angekündigt - heute zeige ich Euch eine davon. Naja, in Wahrheit ist es ein Tag geworden, aber ich habe dafür das Christmas in July Snowglobe Kit von ScrappyTails verwendet.

I already announced more "christmas in july" cards - today I am sharing another  one with you. Well, it's not really a card, but a tag and I used the Christmas in July Snowglobe Kit by ScrappyTails for  it.

 

Hauptelemente des Kits, dessen Inhalt es natürlich auch einzeln gibt, sind zwei Podium-Stanzensets. Da Sabrina, die Inhaberin von ScrappyTails aber bereits einige dieser Podiums-Karten gezeigt hat, habe ich entschieden, eher flache Karten mit den übrigen Sets zu werkeln. Und die Tall Arch Snowglobe Stanze bot sich für ein Tag geradezu perfekt an.

 

Main element of the kit, and of course the content can be purchased individually, are two podium dies. But Sabrina, the owner of ScrappyTails, already showed several of these. So I've  diceded  to make some flat cards with the other sets. And the Tall Arch Snowglobe die set was just perfect for a tag.

 

 Diese Schneekugel ist relativ schmal, dafür aber recht hoch - für eine Easel Card fand ich sie nicht so geeignet. Deswegen kam mir die Idee mit dem Tag. 

 

This snowglobe is pretty narrow but quite tall - it didn't seem right for an easel card. That's why I got the idea with the tag.

 

 Ich habe den oberen Teil der Schneekugel aus hellblauem Cardstock gestanzt und ihn ein wenig mit Distress Ink Stormy Sky gewischt. Dann habe ich die Schneeflocken mit einer weiteren Stanze aus dem Set hinterlegt und eine Lage weißen Cardstocks dahinter geklebt. 

In der Schneekugel sieht man zwei kleine Elfen. Da die bis Weihnachten noch ein wenig Freizeit genießen können, bauen sie einen großen Schneemann. 

Der Schneemann ist aus dem Set Snowglobe Large Traditional Snowman AddOn. Ich habe ihn aus weißem Carstock gestanzt und mit Alcoholmarkern coloriert. Im Set gibt es Stanzen um quasi jedes Element des Schneemanns zu layern - ich habe nur den Rand der Mütze, die Ilexblätter, die Karottennase und das Fell am Schal gelayert.  Die Augen und Knöpfe habe ich mit einem schwarzen Glaze Pen aufgemalt. 

 Die Leiter und die Elfen sind aus dem Set Snowglobe Tall  Whimsical Tree with Ladder and Elves Set. Eigentlich schmücken sie einen großen Weihnachtsbaum. Aber die beiden passen auch super zu dem Schneemann. Ich habe beiden einfach statt einer Christbaumkugel je einen der Stöcke aus dem Schneemann-Set gegeben. Die Arme des Schneemanns habe ich einfach weggeschnitten. 

Als oberste Lage habe ich dann noch die Grundform der Schneekugel aus Acetate gestanzt und von hinten mit einem weißen Acrylmarker einige weitere Schneeflocken aufgemalt. 

 

I die cut the top of the snowglobe from light blue cardstock and shaded it with a bit of Distress Ink Stormy Sky. Then I cut the snowflakes into it using another die  from the set and put a layer of white cardstock behind them.

Inside the snowglobe there are two little elves. They still have a bit of free time before the stressful christmas time starts. So they have decided to build a huge snowman. 

The snowman is from Snowglobe Large Traditional Snowman AddOn. I die cut it from white cardstock and colored him with alcohol markers. In the set there is nearly a die to layer each part of the snowman - I only used the brim of the hat, the holly leaves, the carrot nose and the fur on the scarf, the eyes and buttons I drew with a black Glaze pen. 

The ladder and elves are from Snowglobe Tall Whimsical Tree with Ladder and Elves set. Originally those two elves are decorating a christmas tree but they work great with the snowman as well. Instead of an ornament I let each of them hold a stick from the snowman set, I cut off the snowman's arm with my scissors.

For a top layer I also die cut the  snowglobe top from acetate and used a white acrylic marker to add some snowflakes to its back.

 

 Die Teile der Schneekugel-Basis habe ich aus hell- und dunkelbraunem Cardstock gestanzt und ein wenig schattiert. Hinter der Basis konnte ich dann auch gut das Acetate ankleben und dabei den Kleber verstecken. 

Auf dieses Holzteil habe ich dann "to" und "from" geklebt. Das habe ich aus grünem Cardstock gestanzt und dafür zwei kleine Stanzen aus dem Pop Up Envelope Set benutzt. Als Deko habe ich dann noch zwei kleine rosafarbene Herzen aufgeklebt.

 

I die cut the pieces for the snowglobe base from light and dark brown cardstock and also  shaded them with markers. Behind this base I was able to glue  down the acetate top and hide the glue behind that  base.

 Onto the base I glued a small "to" and "from", cut from green cardstock using two small dies from Pop Up Envelope. As decoration I added two small  pink clay hearts.

 

 Um aus der Schneekugel einen Anhänger zu machen, habe ich einen Streifen weißen Cardstocks zugeschnitten und mit der Crop-a-Dile ein Loch hineingestanzt. Außerdem habe ich die Kante mit der Schere abgerundet. Diesen  Cardstockstreifen habe ich dann hinter die weiße Lage hinter den Schneeflocken geklebt und eine weitere Lage weißen Cardstocks dahinter gesetzt. Das gibt dem Tag zusätzlich Stabilität, außerdem kann man darauf auch noch einen persönlichen Gruß schreiben.

Die Nahtstelle habe ich dann mit einer grünen Schleife verdeckt. Die ist aus dem Large Moving Podium Base Set und wieder mit Alcoholmarkern coloriert. Hinter ihr konnte ich auch den Kleber, mit dem ich die Acetate-Lage am oberen Ende der Schneekugel angeklebt habe, verdecken.

Auf der Rückseite befindet sich dann eine weitere Schleife und auch eine weitere Schneekugelbasis. So sieht der Tag auch von hinten sauber aus.

Durch das Loch in dem weißen Streifen habe ich zum Schluss noch grünes Twine gezogen.

 

To turn the snowglobe into a tag I cut a strip from white cardstock and used my Crop-a-Dile to cut a hole into it. Then I rounded the strip with my scissors. I glued this cardstock strip behind the white snowflake layer and then glued another white layer on top. That makes the tag more sturdy and also leaves room for some personal greetings. 

I've hidden the spot where the strip comes out of the snowglobe top with a green bow. It's from Large  Moving Podium Base and again colored  with alcohol markers. Behind it I was also able to hide the glue that I used to attach the acetate top to the background. 

On the back of the tag I also added a bow and a base to make the back of the tag look nice, too.

Through the hole in the hanger I put a piece  of green twine.

 

Weihnachtstags 3

Mit dem heutigen Post zeige ich Euch die letzten Weihnachtstags des Jahres. 

Ich hatte ja schon geschrieben, dass es für jeden einen aufwändigeren und dann eher einfache Tags für die restlichen Geschenke gegeben hat. Diese hier sind fast ein wenig zu einfach für meinen Geschmack, aber nachdem mich die Grippe im Dezember für 10 Tage ausgeknockt hatte, musste ich irgendwie rumkommen. Und gefallen tun sie mir trotzdem.

With today's post I am sharing with you the last of the christmas tags of 2025.

I had alreaday mentioned that I have made one a bit more elaborate tag for everyone and put simpler ones on the other presents. Well, these are nearly a bit too simple for my taste. But I was sick for 10 days in december and had a hard time finish everything I wanted. And I still like these.

 

Die Tags sind alle identisch gearbeitet, nur die Motive in der Mitte unterscheiden sich. Stellvertretend habe ich für die übrigen Bilder einfach eines der Tags rausgepickt.

 

I made all of the tags identically, only the images in the center are different. So I just picked one for the rest of the pictures of this post.

 

 Die Tags sind wieder mit Artikeln von TheGreetery gemacht - und eigentlich waren sie das, was ich als Haupttags machen wollte, zumindest so ähnlich. Aber da kam mir ja dann ein weiteres Release dazwischen....

Ich habe hier wieder eines der Capsule Basics aus cappuccino-farbenem Cardstock gestanzt und damit die Basis für meinen Tag gefertigt. 

Unten auf den Tag habe ich zwei Ilexblätter, Teil einer der Bordüren aus dem Capsule Basics Quick Tags Set, mit grüner Tinte aufgestempelt. Darüber habe ich dann mit silbernem Embossingpulver  ein Merry Christmas aus dem selben Set aufembosst. Außerdem habe ich mit einem silbernen Gelstift einen Rahmen aufgemalt. Dafür habe ich die Stanze wieder aufgelegt und entlang der inneren Kante nachgemalt, so wird der Rahmen schön sauber.

Oben habe ich erst ein Loch in das Oval gestanzt und ein Stück silber-weißes Twine hindurchgezogen. Das Loch habe ich dann mit einer der Schleifen aus Regency Bow No. 2 abgedeckt. Die habe ich aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics schattiert.

 

Again I used products by TheGreetery for my tags - and these are what I had planned originally, at least something like that. But that's before the latest release happened....

Again I used one of the Capsule Basics dies as the tag base and cut that from cappuccino colored cardstock.

Onto the bottom of the tag I stamped two holly leaves, part of one of the borders from Capsule Basics Quick Tags, using green ink. Above those I silver heat embossed a merry christmas from the same set onto the tag. I also drew a thin frame with a silver gel pen - I simply put the die back onto the tag and traced the inner edge to end up with a clean line.

I cut a small hole from the top of the oval and put some silver and white twine through it. Then I covered the hole with one of the bows from Regency Bow No. 2. I die cut that from dark green cardstock and shaded it with Copics.

 

 In die Mitte des Ovals habe ich dann kleinere Tags mit Motiv geklebt. Die sind mit Stanzen aus dem Set Shortbread Shapes Rectangle Labels aus blau-grauem Cardstock gestanzt, mittig habe ich das Rechteck aus dem selben Set ausgestanzt. 

Hinter dieses Fenster passt dann perfekt eines der  Motive, die der Shortbread Shapes Holiday Rectangle Embossingfolder prägt. Ich habe sie wieder in cappuccino-farbenen Cardstock geprägt und mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. Dannn habe ich erst ein weißes Stempelkissen auf die erhabenen Stellen gedrückt und nach dem Trocknen die Beeren der Motive mit einem grünen Glaze Pen nachgemalt.

Unten auf den blauen Tag habe ich dann noch ein To: sowie eine Linie, beides mit Stempeln aus dem  Large Linked Labels Stempelset, silber aufembosst. 

 

Into the center of the oval I put a smaller tag with the image. I die cut those from grey-blue cardstock using one of the dies from Shortbread Shapes Rectangle Labels and cut the rectangle from the same set from the center.

Behind this window is the perfect spot to put one of the images made with the Shortbread Shapes Holiday Rectangle embossing folder. I embossed those into cappuccino colored cardstock again and cut them out. Then I first lightly pressed a white ink pad onto the raised areas and, after the ink had dried, colored the berries with a green Glaze Pen.

Onto the bottom of the blue tag  I silver heat embossed a To: and a line, both made with stamps from Large Linked Labels. 

 

 Die Schleife und den grauen Tag habe ich mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Als Deko habe ich dann noch ein kleines weißes Herz neben das geprägte Motiv sowie ein weiteres zwischen die beiden Ilexblätter geklebt.

 

I adhered the bow and the grey tag with thin foam tape. Then I added a white clay heart next to the embossed image and another one between the holly leaves.

 

Weihnachtstags 2

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Wie jedes Jahr an den Feiertagen zeige ich Euch die Tags, die dieses Jahr meine Weihnachtsgeschenke zieren durften. Einen habe ich Euch ja bereits gezeigt, denn der wurde bereits vorher übergeben. 

Dieses Jahr gab es für jeden Beschenkten auf dem Hauptgeschenk einen aufwändigen, auf den übrigen Kleinigkeiten etwas einfachere Tags, die zeige ich Euch dann morgen.

Like every year after Christmas Eve I share with you the tags, that I decorated my christmas gifts with this year. I already shared one with you, but that didn't really count because the gift was handed out earlier. 

This year I made a more elaborate tag for the main gift for every one, for the other, smaller gifts I made some simpler tags, that I'll share with you tomorrow.

 

Hier kamen wieder Artikel von TheGreetery zum Einsatz. Ich hatte meine Tags bereits mit Stempeln und Stanzen aus dem Marketplace Release geplant, dann kam das November-Release und all meine Pläne wurden über den Haufen geschmissen. 

Hier habe ich als Basis eines der Ovale aus Capsule Basics aus dem Eukalyptus Cardstock von Faltkarten gestanzt und mit einer farblich passenden Tinte den Christmas Background von MFT aufgestempelt. Damit der Text schön dezent bleibt, habe ich die Intensität per Second Generation Stamping abgemildert.

Aus silbernem Spiegel-Cardstock habe ich dann den von der Größer her passenden Rahmen aus dem Capsule Filigree Borders Set ausgestanzt und aufgeklebt.

 

Again I used products by TheGreetery for my tags. I had already planned my tag designs with stamps and dies from the Marketplace Release, then the november release came out and all my plans went over board.

I cut one of the ovals from the Capsule Basics die set from eukalyptus cardstock by Faltkarten und used a matching ink to stamp the Christmas Background by MFT onto it. To not end up with a too intense text I did some second generation stamping to keep it more subtle.

From silver mirror cardstock I die cut the Capsule Filigree Borders die in the matching size and glued it on.

 

 In der Mitte jedes Ovals habe ich dann ein Label mit aufgestempeltem Text angebracht.

Das Label ist aus dem Shortbread Shapes Rectangle Labels Set und aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. 

In die Mitte habe ich dann nur das To: samt der Linie und der Zweig-Deko darunter mit grüner Tinte aufgestempelt. Darunter habe ich dann silber das Merry Christmas aufembosst. Beide Texte sind aus dem  Capsule Quick Tags Stempelset.

Auf die Beeren zwischen den Zweigen habe ich jeweils drei kleine rote Glitzersteine aufgeklebt.

 

Onto the center of each oval I glued a label with a stamped on text.

The label is from the Shortbread Shapes Rectangle Labels set and cut from white cardstock. Onto the center I stamped just the To: with the line underneath and the two branches using green ink. Under it I silver heat embossed the Merry Christmas. Both texts are from Capsule Quick Tags.

I glued three small rhinestones onto the stamped berries between the two branches.

 

 Oben an den Tag habe ich dann einen der Ringe, die an Schlüsselringe mit Scharnier erinnern, aus dem Hang it Up Set angeklebt. Auch den habe ich aus silbernem Spiegel-Cardstock gestanzt.

An die obere Kante des Tags kam dann die kleinere der Schleifen aus dem Regency Bow No. 1 Set. Ich habe beide Teile aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics schattiert. Für die Highlights habe ich einen weißen Polychromo verwedet, der ist nicht ganz so hart wie ein Gelstift.

 

Onto the top of the tag I adhered one of the rings, that look like key rings with a hinge, from  Hang it Up. Again I cut that from silver mirror cardstock.

Onto the top edge of the tag I then adhered the smaller bow from Regency Bow No. 1. I cut both pieces from red cardstock and shaded them with Copics. I used a white Polychromo to add the highlights, it's not as harsh as a gel pen.

 

 Unten, unter den Zierrand, habe ich dann noch einen Weihnachtsstern geschoben.

Den habe ich mit dem Bigger Holidays Botanicals Poinsettia Set jeweils einmal aus korallefarbenem und einmal aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt und beide Teile mit Copics schattiert, die Highlights sind wieder mit einem Polychromo gemacht. Dann habe ich die Teile leicht versetzt aufeinander und auf den Tag geklebt. Den überstehenden Teil habe ich mit der Schere abgeschnitten.  

 Die Blumenmitten habe ich wieder aus silbernem Spiegel-Cardstock gestanzt und drei kleine weiße Perlen aufgeklebt.

 

At the bottom of the tag I tucked a poinsettia under the border frame.

 I cut that with the Bigger Holidays Botanicals Poinsettia set once from coral and once from red cardstock and shaded both with Copics. The highlights I did with a Polychromo again. I glued them on top of each other a bit offset and glued them onto the tag. Then I cut off the overhang with my scissors.

 The flower centers I cut from silver mirror cardstock again and glued three small white pearls on top.

 

 

 Beim Zusammensetzen der Tags habe ich auf 3D Tape verzichtet - die Teile waren einfach zu filigran. Aber ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden mit ihnen.

 

I didn't use any foam tape to put the tags together - the pieces were just to thin and fine. But I really love how they turned out.

Heute zeige ich Euch das erste der diesjährigen Weihnachtstags für die Familie. Dieses hier ist für meinen Enkel, der jede Art von Tieren liebt. Also habe ich ein Weihnachts-Alpaka auf seinen Tag gesetzt.

Today I am starting to share with you the gift tags I made for my family this year. This is the one I made for my grandson. He loves all animals so I decided to create a christmas alpaca for his tag.

 

Als Basis für den Tag habe ich ein Stück brauner Wellpappe oben mit einer Rundung versehen - die habe ich einfach mit der Schere geschnitten.

Aus braunem Hologramm-Cardstock mit Muster habe ich eines der Nesting Pierced Labels von WaffleFlower gestanzt und mit 3D Tape auf die Wellpappe geklebt, dann habe ich noch die Ecken, die unter den nach innen gebogenen Ecken sichtbar waren, weggeschnitten.

Ich habe ein Loch in den halbrunden Teil oben gestanzt und dort dann ein Schneeflocken-Eyelet angebracht. 

 

As the base for my tag I added a round shape to the top of a strip of brown corrugated cardstock, simply by using my scissors.

From brown holographic cardstock with a pattern I cut one of the Nesting Pierced Labels by WaffleFlower and glued that with foam tape onto the corrugated paper. Then I cut off the corners, that were visible behind the inwards bent corners of the label.

I punched a hole into the half circle at the top and added  a snowflake shaped eyelet there. 

 

 Für das Alpaka habe ich dann wild Stanzen verschiedener Hersteller gemixt. Das Alpaka habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert, die Augen sind mit einem schwarzen Glaze Pen aufgemalt.

Die Nikolausmütze habe ich aus rotem Cardstock gemacht, sie ist aus dem Wackel-Santa Set von Spellbinders. Allerdings war sie zu klein. Also habe ich einfach noch eine andere Weihnachtsmütze ausgestanzt und nur das Ende mit dem Bommel seitlich am Alpaka angebracht.

Um den Hals habe ich dem Alpaka dann erstmal zwei Kränze gelegt. Die sind aus dem Laternen-Set von CreativeDepot. Ich habe jeweils einen aus hell- und dunkel-grünem Cardstock gestanzt, mit Copics schattiert und sie dann aufeinander geklebt. 

Die große Schleife hatte ich noch von anderen Tags übrig - wer zählen kann, dem passiert das nicht - und so habe ich sie vorne am Alphaka befestigt. Sie ist aus dem Regency Bow No. 1 Set von TheGreetery. Und zwischen die Schleifen habe ich ein kleines goldenes Glöckchen aus einem Stanzenset von Action gesetzt.

 

For the alpaca I  mixed dies from all kinds of brands. I cut the alpaca from white cardstock and colored it with Copics, the eyes I added with a black Glaze Pen.

The Santa hat I cut from red cardstock, it's from the dangling Santa die set by Spellbinders. But it was too small. So I simply cut a different Santa hat and adhered just the end with the pompom next to the alpaca's face.

I put a wreath around the alpaca's neck. I used the lantern die set by CreativeDepot and cut one from light, one from dark green cardstock, shaded them with Copics and glued them on top of each other.

The large bow I had left over from some other tags I made - this doesn't happen if you count right while die cutting. I simply adhered that to the front of the alpaca. The bow is made with the Regendy Bow No. 1 die set by TheGreetery. Between the bow loops I put a little bell, made using a die set by Action.

 

 Das Alpaka habe ich wieder mit 3D Tape hinterlegt und es dann auf das Tag geklebt. Das Ende des Alpakas habe ich dabei unter den Folien-Rahmen geschoben.

Zum Schluss habe ich als Deko noch einige weiße Schneeflocken auf dem Tag verteilt.

 

I backed the alpaca with foam tape and glued it onto the tag, tucking the bottom of the alpaca behind the foil frame.

Then I decorated the tag with a few small white snowflakes.

Heute zeige ich Euch - quasi außer Konkurrenz - einen der Tags, die dieses Jahr meine Weihnachtsgeschenke zieren.

Today I am sharing with you one first tag - and I really only made one of these - that I used on this year's christmas gifts.

 

Ich weiß, an den Labubus scheiden sich die Geister und ich selbst kann mit ihnen auch nichts wirklich viel anfangen. Aber in einer Gruppe mit einigen Freundinnen haben die nach einigen Erlebnissen in Barcelona dieses Jahr einen besonderen Stellenwert. Und als ich dann das Stanzen- und auch Stempelset von TheSassyClub gesehen habe, wusste ich, das ich das genau aus diesem Grund haben musste. 

Den Aufhänger samt Ring habe ich aus matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock gestanzt und den Streifen darauf aus weißem Cardstock. Den habe ich dann erst passend zu der für meinen Labubu gewählten Farbe - und auch die war hier nicht irgendwie, sondern mit Hintergrund gewählt - coloriert. Dann habe ich einen der Texte aus dem La Busy Stempelset aufgestempelt. Okay, im Set ist er so nicht enthalten, aber damit der Aufdruck möglichst authentisch wirkt habe ich zwei Texte kombiniert. 

 

I know, everyone has it's own thoughts about these Labubus and honestly, I personally don't care much about them.  But after some experiences with them in Barcelona, where a few friends and I traveled to earlier this year, they have a special meaning to us. And when I stumbled across the dies and stamps by TheSassyClub I knew, that I had to have those just for the very same reason.

I die cut the ring from matte silver metallic cardstock and the cardstock strip on top from white cardstock. I colored the strip a grey-ish blue - again a color that I didn't pick by chance but because of a reason - and stamped one of the texts from La Busy on top. Okay, there's no text exactly like that in the stamp set. To make it as authentic as possible I combined two texts here.

 

 Die Stanzen sind alle aus dem Set Build a Bubu. In dem ist auch eine sitzende Variante enthalten, wenn ich also von diesem hier farblich alle Varianten durch habe, kann ich mit denen weiter machen und sollte so für die nächsten Jahre aufgestellt sein.... ;)

Ich habe alle Teile aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt coloriert. Dabei habe ich mir ein Bild eines echten Labubu als Vorlage genommen. Den Körper habe ich zweimal ausgestanzt und von einem die Ohren sowie Hände und Füße weggeschnitten. So konnte ich die Figur später etwas layering und somit plastischer wirken lassen. 

Coloriert habe ich mit Copics und dann mit farblich passenden Polychromos die Details ins Fell gemalt. Das Schwarze in den Augen ist mit einem schwarzen Glaze Pen gemacht. 

 

The dies are all from Build a Bubu. There's also a sitting version included in the set. So once I am through with all the color of the standing one, I can continue with the sitting ones and will be all set for several years.... ;)
I die cut all pieces from white cardstock and colored them. I looked at a picture of a real Labubu as reference. I cut the body twice and cut off the ears, hands and feet of one of the them. This way I was able to layer it later and give this guy some dimension.

I used Copics to color the pieces and then brought in some matching Polychromos to add the details to the fur. The black in the eyes I made with a black Glaze Pen.

 

Beim Zusammenkleben habe ich dünnes 3D Tape zwischen die beiden Körperlagen gesetzt. Dann habe ich alles auf schwarzen Cardstock geklebt und mit der Schere rundherum ausgeschnitten, so dass mein Anhänger schön stabil ist. 

 

I put thin foam tape between the two body layers. Then I glued the whole guy onto black cardstock and cut him out with my scissors to make him nice and sturdy.

Auch im Dezember gibt es eine Technique Throwback Thursday Challenge. Das Video, das diesmal Thema ist, ist tatsächlich schon 8 Jahre alt, aber das sieht man der Technik mal so gar nicht an. Es geht um Tags mit 3D Dekoration und das tolle ist, dass man quasi jedes symmetrische Stanzteil für die Technik nutzen kann.

Of course there is a Technique Throwback Thursday challenge also in december. The video, that's this month's theme, is actually 8 years old but those  techniques never go outdated.  The video is about making tags with a 3D decoration and the great thing is, that you can use  any symmetrical die cut for it.

 

Nun, meine Weihnachtstags sind fertig, also habe ich ein paar kleine Tags als Neujahrsgrüße gestaltet, die ich noch an kleine Piccolo-Flaschen binden werde. Und wie Ihr seht, konnte ich mich nicht für  ein Motiv entscheiden. Zuerst wusste ich gar nicht so recht, was ich nehmen sollte/könnte, aber  also ich erstmal  auf die Suche nach zum Thema passenden symmetrischen Stanzen gemacht habe, kamen mir die Ideen nur so zugeflogen. Ich hatte da tatsächlich noch einige mehr, habe mich dann aber für diese drei Motive entschieden.

Als Basis für die Tags kamen jeweils Elemente aus dem Fold Up Tags Set von MFT zum Einsatz und auch sonst wiederholen sich einige Elemente. 

 

Well, my christmas tags are done, so I made some smaller tags with some new year's greetings. I will tie those to little champagne bottles. And as you can see I wasn't able to pick just one element for my decorations. At first I wasn't sure, what would work theme-wise and for the technique. But once I started digging for symmetrical dies the options started to pile up. I decided to go with these three elements.

As base for the tags I used different dies from Fold Up Tags by MFT and some other elements are repeated, too. 

 

 Für den ersten Tag habe ich die Basis aus weißem Cardstock, den kleinen oberen Teil aus matt-goldenem Metallic-Cardstock gestanzt.

Für die Deko  habe ich eine Sektflasche gestaltet - die passt zu Silvester ja immer. Ich habe sie mit der Sektflaschen-Stanze von Kulricke aus dunkelgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und den oberen Teil jeweils mit einem goldenen Gelstift angemalt. Um den Flaschenhals habe ich etwas weißes Twine gewickelt und zur Schleife gebunden. Das Label ist wieder aus dem goldenen Metallic-Cardstock gemacht und mit einem kleinen Kleeblatt sowie einem weißen Herz dekoriert. Und weil das weiße Tag später etwas zu leer wirkte, habe ich noch einen Mini-Tag an die Flasche geklebt. Der ist aus schwarzem Cardstock, mit einem weißen Gelstift habe ich per Hand 2026 daraufgeschrieben.

Unter der Flasche habe ich quer ein Happy New Year aufgeklebt. Das ist mit dem Grußtexte Weihnachtlich Set von Charlie und Paulchen wieder aus matt-goldenem Cardstock gemacht. Und hier wird der Text in den Cardstock hinein- aber nicht ausgestanzt. 

Oben am Tag habe ich dann noch eine grüne Schleife aus dem Ornamental Tags Set von TheGreetery aufgeklebt. Dabei habe ich den oberen Teil der Schleife aufgedoppelt und dazwischen das weiße Twine, das ich durch das Loch im Tag gefädelt habe, eingefasst.

 

For the first tag I created the base from white cardstock, the smaller top from matte-gold metallic cardstock.

For the decorations I created a champagne bottle - that always works for New Year's Eve. I made that from dark green cardstock using the Sektflasche die by Kulricke and used a gold gel pen to color the top of the bottle. I wrapped some white twine around the neck of the botle and tied it to a bow. The label I cut again from the gold metallic cardstock and decorated it with a small clover and a white clay heart. And because the white base tag seemed a bit empty later on I cut a small tag from black cardstock and wrote 2026 onto it with a white gel pen.

Under the bottle I adhered a banner with a Happy New Year greeting. I made that using the Grußtexte Weihnachtlich die set by Charlie und Paulchen, cutting it from matte gold cardstock again. Here the text gets cut into but not out of the cardstock.

To the top of the tag I added a green bow from Ornamental Tags by TheGreetery. I doubled up the top of the bow and glued the white twine, that I put through the hole in the tag, between the two bow layers.

 

 Ich habe mich übrigens bewusst für eher flache Motive entschieden weil ich nicht wollte, dass sie zu sehr aufstehen. 

Mit einem goldenen Gelstift habe ich dann noch einen Rahmen auf den weißen Tag gemalt.

 

I picked quite flat images on purpose for my tags because I didn't want them to get too bulky.

With a gold gel pen I drew a frame onto the white tag.

 

 Bei meinem zweiten Tag habe ich die Basis aus schwarzem, den oberen Teil aus dem goldenen Metallic-Cardstock gestanzt.

Als Deko habe ich mich diesmal für einen kleinen Glückspilz entschieden. Der ist mit dem kleineren Pilz aus dem Set Happy Mushrooms von LawnFawn, den Fuß habe ich ein wenig gekürzt.

Auf die einzelnen Lagen des Huts habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift Punkte aufgemalt, um den Fuß habe ich wieder weißes Twine gewickelt. 

Die übrigen Elemente sind identisch zum ersten Tag, die Schleife habe ich diesmal aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt.

 

For my second tag I cut the base from black, the top piece from gold metallic cardstock.

As decoration I created a little mushroom. I used the smaller mushroom from Happy Mushrooms by LawnFawn here and cut the bottom piece a bit shorter.  

I added little white dots to the hat pieces using a white gel pen and wrapped some white twine around the stem again.

The other elements are identical to the first tag, the bow I cut from red cardstock here.

 

 Das kleine weiße Herz habe ich diesmal neben dem Pilz auf den Tag geklebt und zum Schluss wieder einen Rahmen mit einem goldenem Gelstift aufgemalt.

 

I glued the little white heart next to the mushroom onto the tag and used a gold gel pen to draw a frame onto the tag.

 

 Und bei meinem letzten Tag war ich mir gar nicht sicher, ob das mit dem Motiv so klappen würde. Ich habe es einfach probiert und auch ein Zylinder passt für die Technik.

Basis und oberer Teil des Tags sind hier aus schwarzem Cardstock, dazwischen habe ich eine bannerförmige Tag-Lage aus rotem Cardstock eingebaut.

Der Zylinder ist aus dem Set Build-a-Snowman von LawnFawn. Ich habe einen Streifen roten Cardstocks um den Zylinder gewickelt und mit einem kleinen Kleeblatt sowie weißem Twine dekoriert. 

Die Schleife ist hier aus dem goldenen Metallic-Cardstock gemacht.

 

For my last tag I wasn't sure if the image would really work. I simply tried it and yes, a top hat works pretty well, too.

I cut the base and top of the tag from black cardstock and added a banner shaped tag layer cut from red cardstock inbetween.

The top hat is from Build-a-Snowman by LawnFawn.  I wrapped  a thin strip of red cardstock around it and decorated it with a small clover and some white twine.

The bow I made from gold metallic cardstock here.

 

 Das kleine weiße Herz habe ich hier auf den Textstreifen gesetzt und darunter ein kleines weißes Tag, auf das ich mit einem goldenen Gelstift 2026 geschrieben habe, festgeklebt.

Und auch hier habe ich Rahmen mit einem goldenen Gelstift aufgemalt, diesmal auf beide Tags.

 

I glued the white clay heart onto the text strip here and tucked a little white tag, that I wrote 2026 with a gold gel pen onto, under it.

And again I drew a frame with a gold gel pen, this time onto both of the layered tags.

Heute kann ich Euch nun auch den Rest meiner diesjährigen Weihnachtstags zeigen, denn alle Weihnachtsgeschenke - samt Tags - haben ihren Besitzer gefunden.

Today I can share with you the rest of the christmas tags I made this year, because all the presents - including tags - have reached their recipients.

Eigentlich wollte ich dieses Jahr alles etwas einfacher halten. Und rein optisch sind die Tags da ja auch. Aber die einzelnen Komponenten waren dann doch recht zeitintensiv, so dass ich die ein oder andere Bastel-Nachtschicht eingelegt habe.

I had planned to keep things a bit simpler this year. And just from the look I seem to have succeeded. But the individual pieces all took quite a bit of time so I had to do some crafty night shifts.

Ich habe diesmal Rosetten als Basis gemacht und dafür eines der übriggebliebenen Designpapiere von Magnolia benutzt. Es ist hell grau-beige mit weißen Monogrammen. Daraus habe ich Streifen in der vollen Länge des 12" Cardstocks geschnitten und sie in 1/8" Schritten gefalzt. Daraus ist dann die Rosette entstanden. In der Mitte befindet sich jeweils ein Kreis aus dem selben Designpapier.

Oben an jeden Tag habe ich eine Schleife aus roter Spitze gebunden.

This year I made paper rosettes as the base of my tags and used left over patterned papers from Magnolia. They are a light grey-ish beige with white monogramms. I cut strips in the whole length of the 12" papers and scored them in 1/8" intervalls. Then I created the rosettes from them, putting a circle cut from the same patterned paper in the center.

To the top I tied a bow from red lace.

Natürlich mussten die Anfangsbuchstaben auf die Tags, damit man auch sofort weiß, wem welches Geschenk gehört. Ich habe dafür die Sommerlichen Buchstaben von Creative-Depot benutzt und sie einmal mit roter Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. Außerdem habe ich sie einmal mit goldenem Embossingpulver auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Die rot gestempelten Buchstaben habe ich komplett ausgeschnitten - sie erinnern mich so schön an Zuckerstangen - aus den gold embossten Buchstaben habe ich nur den Buchstabe an sich, also ohne die gestreifte Schattenlage, ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich beides mit dünnem 3D Tape aufeinander geklebt.

Der Tannenbaum ist mit der kleinsten der 3D-Tannenbaumstanzen von Farbton gemacht. An die Spitze habe ich jeweils einen Stern aus mattgoldenem Metallic-Cardstock geklebt.

Das Textbanner ist mit einer der Useful Banners von Create a Smile gemacht, der Text darauf ist aus dem Itty Bitty Holidays Set von MFT und weiß aufembosst.

Of coure the tags needed the first letter of the recipients name so you see immediately who this present belongs to. I used the Sommerliche Buchstaben stamp set by Creative-Depot here and stamped them with red ink onto white cardstock. I also gold heat embossed them onto black cardstock. I cut out the complete red letters - they really remind me of candy canes - and from the gold embossed ones I only cut out the letters itself, cutting the striped shadow layer off. Then I glued both layer together with thin foam tape.

The tree is made using the smalles of the 3D Tannenbaum dies by Farbton. I added a star, cut from matte gold metallic cardstock, to the top of the tree.

The text banner is cut using one of the Useful Banners by Create a Smile, the text from Itty Bitty Holidays by MFT I white heat embossed onto it.

Ich habe alle Elemente auf den Tag geklebt und ein weiteres kleines goldenes Sternchen oberhalb des Banners hinzugefügt. Zum Schluss habe ich noch etwas rotes Twine als Aufhänger hinzugefügt.

I adhered all elements to the tag and added another small gold star above the banner. Then I added a loop from red twine to the top.

Heute zeige ich Euch schon mal zwei der Weihnachtstags, die ich dieses Jahr gemacht habe. Es sind die Tags für meinen Enkel, der sieht sie hier auf gar keinen Fall.

Today I am already sharing some of the christmas tags I made this year. They are the ones I made for my grandson, he won't see them here so it's okay to share them before christmas.

Eigentlich wollte ich nur irgendwas mit den Sassy Snakes von WhimsyStamps machen - und dann kam mir die Idee, dass die mit Nikolausmützen versehen und um Tannengirlanden gewickelt perfekt für Weihnachtstags wären. Und so ist diese Idee geboren worden.

Die Basis der Tags besteht jeweils aus weißem Cardstock, den ich mit Distress Ink Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Brushed Corduroy, Gathered Twigs und Ground Espresso gewischt habe. Dann habe ich etwas Wasser darüber gespritzt. 

Originally I only wanted to make something with the Sassy Snakes by WhimsyStamps - and then I had the idea, that those would make great christmas snakes with Santa hats and wrapped around a garland. That's how the idea for those tags was born.

The tag bases are cut from white cardstock that I inked with Distress Ink Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Brushed Corduroy, Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso. Then I put some droplets of water onto them.

Ich konnte mich einfach nicht entscheiden, welche Schlange ich verwenden wollte - also habe ich kurzerhand zwei verschiedene Tags gemacht. Die Schlangen sind mit Copics coloriert und mit einem grünen Glitzer-Gelstift betupft.

Die Nikolausmützen sind aus dem Set Mützen von Create a Smile. Ich habe sie ausgestanzt und auf die Schlangen geklebt.

Die Tannengirlanden sind aus dem Set Door Decor von Concord and 9th. Ich habe sie aus grünem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Polychromos feine Linien aufgemalt, um sie etwas detailierter zu gestalten. Die Christbaumkugeln daran sind aus rotem Spiegelcardstock gemacht.

I just couldn't decide which snake I wanted to use - and so I simply made two different tags. The snakes I colored with Copics and used a green glitter gel pen to add some dots.

The Santa hats are from the Mützen set by Create a Smile. I cut them out and glued them onto the snakes' heads.

The pine garlands are from Door Decor by Concord and 9th. I cut them from green cardstock and used Polychromos to add some details. The ornaments in them are cut from red mirror cardstock.

Oben in jedes Tag habe ich ein Loch gestanzt und einen Ring aus rotem Cardstock drumherum gesetzt. Durch das Loch habe ich dann etwas rot-weißes Twine gezogen und zur Schlaufe geknotet.

Die Texte sind mit dem Alphabet Mini Set von WhimsyStamps und schwarzer Tinte gemacht. Natürlich zischelt so eine Schlange ordentlich, deswegen kamen einige S mehr als üblich zum Einsatz. Die Texte sind einfach mit einzelnen Buchstaben zusammengesetzt und ich habe bewusst nicht auf gleichmäßige Abstände oder in geraden Linien gestempelte Worte geachtet.

I cut a hole from the top of each tag and glued a ring, cut from red cardstock, around it. Through the hole I put some red and white twine and tied it together to create a loop.

The texts are made using the Alphabet Mini set by WhimsyStamps and black ink. Of course a snake is hissing and so I used a few more S than usual. The texts are put together from individual letters and I didn't care about even spaces between the letters or the words being stamped in a straight line.

The texts mean "SSSSanta wassss here" and "Merry Chrissssstmassss".

Die Schlangen samt Tannengirlanden habe ich dann mit dickem 3D Tape auf die Tags geklebt. Die Augen, Zungen und roten Teile der Schlangen habe ich noch mit Glossy Accents überzogen.

Mit einem weißen Gelstift habe ich einen Rahmen auf jeden Tag gemalt und jeweils ein paar goldene Sterne als Deko aufgeklebt.

I adhered the snakes and garlands with thick foam tape. The snakes' eyes, tongues and red parts I covered with Glossy Accents.

I used a white gel pen to draw a frame onto each tag and added a few gold star confetti as decoration.
